Ok, well the title pretty much says it all. Welcome to One Piece Idol! The rules are simple! 1) Sign up as either a judge or character to sing! 2) Get a singing act, any kind of act (singing prefered) and show your stuff 3) Judges will vote, but not in a biased decision (like, I hate Sanji, you get a 0/10) 4) In the first round, your average must get a 5/10 OR ABOVE to go onto the second round. 5) Second round-6/10, Third round-8/10, and the 4th round, you MUST get a perfect. If two get perfects we add all of their averages and the one with the most becomes the One Piece Idol!!! EDIT: If there is NO perfect, then the highest rating is the OPI. Sign up now! Well, technically Luffy was my spot from the roleplay back at 4shame, but I guess since TenseRebecca's here now it's not mine anymore... Of course, the good news is I get to be Simon. Because Simon is awesome. Ah, Simon, you amazing, cruel, snarky critic, you're my hero... Pains me to know I'll be criqueing One Piece characters, but eh, it's worth it. I thought up a few rules for this in the month's when this thing wasn't going on so I'm going to suggest them now. Go Go Maple, if you have any problems with them throw a brick at my head or something. Oh, and add Usopp! How could you forget him from the list!? *shakes head* Right, so listen here. There is more to this than just posting the lyrics of a song and saying "Yeah, *insert character here* sang this~!" Basically, once it is your turn it's almost like writing a fanfic. I'm not entirely sure if it will go like this, but last time we did this when it was your turn you could control any of the characters that you needed. For instance, when RedPirate posted her song she had Sanji singing to Nami and posted Nami's reactions, which resulted in a very nice preformance over all. Part of this won't just be your characters preformance on stage, but their feelings off of it. Are they nervous? Why are they in this competition in the first place? Do they have any conversations or anything before the act that cause the song to go the way it does? We can't exactly hear these characters singing, so how well you do depends on several things. If you do a song, the following is important: 1) Does this song fit the character? Can we actually imagine the character singing this? I'm sorry, but I really cannot picture say, Kuro singing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" regaurdless of how hilarious the resulting mental image is. 2) How well were the other actions in the act done? Basically, along with the lyrics of the song you have to discribe the actions your character does while singing, before singing, the effects, etc, etc. How well you do this will effect your score. 3) Was your character IC in this post? Were the other characters (should any be included) in character? 4) Um...there is no number four. Simon'll probably hate you no matter what you do anyway. Right um...that's my two cents on the matter. Maybe I'm making things sound too complicated, it's really not all that hard. Er...yay? |

Um, so are we actually only role-playing as one character or are we allows to basically play them all to the best of our abilty as needed for what our main character is doing when it's our turn? You know, to inform the contestants... Also, do my rules for judging sound alright? |

Your rules are fine, but ONLY you Digi, can make biased judges, because you're Simon. You may have a person that is not your character COME in and help along with the performance LIKE a duet. But we are ONLY judging on the person that plays the person going up (like if Luffy and Zoro duet, and it was Saiyako's turn, ONLY Zoro would get judged. Luffy would get judged seperatly.) ?Comprende? |

Hey, Simon's not biased, he's just a very harsh critic! Yeah, I figured. The character being judged depends on the person playing. I know...and now everyone else does too~! Huzzah or something. Am I playing as myself in the Simon sort of position (ubder harsh critic of DEATH with British accent of doom), or am I playing as Simon himself? |

And it wouldn't be fair for her to be both because Macabre-san might want to be Robin. But she isn't sure if she could be Nami as well as everyone else could be who they are. You do make a great Nami, Kanthia... And you could always ask Macabre-san first if she wants to be Robin and then take her anyway if she doesn't. Heh, I already have a first song in mind for Zoro... just gotta get all the lyrics. |
