"Right now, I just need some information," Saiyako said, with a faint smile in return. "I'm looking for those two guys," and she pointed at Luffy and Zoro's posters. Better not to draw attention to Robin... "Monkey D Luffy and Roronoa Zoro. I wouldn't suppose you've seen either of them in here?" ------------ Zoro stared after the blue-clad woman for a moment, troubled. Had she said something about a straw hat...? She couldn't be after Luffy, though, or else she'd have recognised them, right? If she did turn out to be a problem, he could worry about it later, anyway, he decided, and turned his attention back to Chopper. "Yeah, I like autumn, too," he answered. "Everyone does..." He grinned, remembering how Kuina had loved the orange leaves, and that year he'd managed to talk her into having a leaf-throwing battle outside the dojo. Somehow, although he'd never been able to figure out how, he'd even managed to lose that one. ------------ Saiyako pongs the bartender; Zoro pongs Chopper and Usopp. |

The girl in the hood suddenly paused where she was walking, eyes widening. Was that....no... Her eye twitched as she glanced back at the girl clad in the blue robes. "Another one..." She murmured. "So, she's after Straw Hat, is she?" She licked her lips. "She may prove to be a problem...but we'll see how things go..." She turned back and continued to walk before freezing once again, her eyes widening once more. There he was in all his hulking, muscled, badass glory! She nearly ran across the street and jumped him, but stopped herself just in time. The girl shook her head, twirling a lock of gold around her finger "No, slow down...that didn't work last time...I have to stick with the plan..." She promptly ducked into an alleyway and watched them, eyes narrowing as she watched Luffy quite suddenly come out of nowhere, trailing leaves behind him. "WHOO HOO~! THIS PLACE IS SO COOL!" Luffy babbled as he threw up handsfuls of multicolored leaves into the sky, apparently oblivious to a townsperson's shouts about how he'd spent all afternoon raking those leaves up. The girl's eyes narrowed and clenched into fists. "Him..." She growled, her hand going to the hilt of one of her three katana out of reflex as her eyes changed from sapphire to crimson due to her rage. "That little annoying brat...he's not even bishie..." She forced her hand off of the hilt of her katana and forced herself to relax, her eyes going from a bright crimson to sparkling sapphire once again. "They'll see..." She muttered before ducking all the way into the alleyway and vanishing. --- Luffy pongs to Usopp, Chopper, and Zoro. |

"That was fast..." Zoro murmured as his captain ran out of nowhere, followed by a trail of leaves. If it had been anyone else, he would have wondered why the heck he was throwing leaves around in the middle of the street, but considering this was Luffy, it didn't surprise him at all. And as annoying as the boy could be sometimes, Zoro couldn't help but enjoy seeing him so happy. "Oi, Luffy!" he yelled, heading over to him. Pong to Luffy, Usopp and Chopper. |

The bartender shook his head, looking a little solemn, as if to say "I'm real sorry", "I haven't seen them around. Although, if you're staying here for a bit, I'll tell you if they come around. How about that, young lady?" --- "Luffy!" Chopper said, smiling at his captain as Usopp kicked a few leaves back at Luffy (most likely creating a leaf kicking game between them), "You're lucky Nami didn't find you first! She seemed ready to kick you for running off without permission!" "Watch out! Captain Usopp-Sama won't lose his leaf kicking to YOU! Once I beat you, I get to be captain!" Usopp said, smiling. Chopper sighed happily. "Hey, Zoro, we found him," The reindeer said, "You're technically off the hook. I think Usopp can keep him at least slightly entertained." "HAW, You can't win NOW!" Usopp shouted happily, "Usopp-Sama will WIN!" --- 'Tender pongs Saiyako; Usopp pongs Luffy; Chopper pongs Zoro. |

Luffy waved at his friends, his attention kept on all three of them for a few seconds before Usopp distracted him with his super awesome leaf-kicking challenge of awesome! The rubber pirate laughed out loud as a few leaves wafted up to his face. He hopped back and kicked the leaves back at Usopp with a wide grin upon his face. “Nuh uh! I’m gonna win!” He declared. “Just watch me!” Ah, the craziness never stopped with those two… --- Pong to Usopp~! |

"Thanks," Saiyako said, still smiling. "I'm meeting my friends back here later, so I'd really appreciate that." She stood up from where she'd been leaning against the bar. "I should head off now. Thanks again!" And she turned to go, thinking. So, neither Luffy nor Zoro had been in here, and if the bartender had recognised any of the rest of the crew, he most likely would have said so. That could mean the Straw-hats weren't in port yet... or it could just mean they hadn't made it as far as the pub. She couldn't even be certain Nami or Luffy hadn't dragged the swordsman off somewhere else, and he might not make it to the Hope and Anchor at all. She wasn't too worried, though. The Straw-hats would show themselves sooner or later. With Monkey D. Luffy in command, it was unavoidable. -------------- "Right," Zoro said, watching Luffy and Usopp kick leaves at each other for a few more moments. He considered staying a bit longer to watch the fight, but that would have meant risking another distraction from his quest for sake. "I'll see you guys back at the ship." And he headed off in the direction he thought the nearest pub should be in. -------------- Open tag from both. Christy, is there anywhere in particular you need Zoro to end up, so You-Know-Who can set her plan into motion? |

*laugh* Other than the pub? No, if I wanted you do go anywhere else, I would have had Chopper "ask" you to go there. Christy is so manaical when it comes to putting PCs where they "should" go. Or I could put something like this in: "Zoro, you get lost in a desert. By the way, the island you WERE on has no desert. How you got there is a mystery. But you find the pub easily enough with your pub radar!" Or not... =) BIC: Chopper was chuckling to himself as the two fought against each other. If it were Sanji, his furious footwork would have his opponent covered in leaves in a second. Of course, the show was attracting lots of attention, as no one THAT old was seen doing somthing THAT childish. "Hah!" Usopp said triumphantly as his leaf pile became steadily less and less, "What are you going to do now? I'm going to win, 'Captain'!" --- Zoro's pub radar suddenly went off in a flash. There it was, the Hope and Anchor. It seemed pretty beat up, but it looked like it would serve what the swordsman wanted. Alcohol! --- Usopp pongs Luffy. |

Nami (with Sanji-kun right behind her) made a point of ignoring the yells of "Hey, put down those leaves!" and "What are you eating?" coming from halfway across the town. As it quieted down a little, she guessed Zoro had found the captain; if Usopp and Chopper had found him alone there would have been a lot more noise. But that wasn't important. As they traversed the market, she glanced from side to side- there had been a little truth in that gossip collumn article about the Straw Hat Navigator's ability to smell sales (right under the article about how Alvida of the Buggy Pirates and Portgas D. Ace of the Whitebeard Pirates were planning to have seven children and four cats)- and it lead them right into a little store with pastel blue walls that smelled of fruity perfume. 50% OFF- WHOLE STORE, the sign said. Nodding to the clerk, she slipped in between the racks and pulled out as much as she could carry. It really didn't matter as long as she found one or two good pieces at a killer price. She stepped into the dressing room and came out twenty seconds later wearing a pink and white tube top with a small heart design in orange, a brown miniskirt with black smokey designs and her regular brown sandals. "What do you think, Sanji-kun?" -- It was the greatest plan known to mankind, and maybe even some Namekians. She had spent the last ten or so seconds formulating it, considering all angles, sides and if a right angle triangle could have a hypotenuse of pi. Which would be pretty funny. She had exactly an unknown amount of leaves in her arms. This was going to be perfect. "LEAF FIGHT!" she yelled, jumping out from around the corner and attempting to cream the curly black-haired individual from behind while missing by about half a foot. -- Nami tags Sanji-kun. Luffy was about to give a retort when a black-haired girl suddenly came flying out of nowhere and attempted to throw a bunch of leaves on Usopp. She missed by a quite a bit, however, and the boy paused in his kicking for a moment to watch the leaves float to the ground. He then promptly burst into laughter and kicked the leaves back at the girl, apparently oblivious to the fact that he had never seen her before. Who cared!? She was a part of the game! “HA! I win!” He declared, even though it was clear he hadn’t won at all. --- The stranger in white cloak watched as Zoro happened to glance at the pub she had just been at. A smirk came to her perfect lips. “Excellent.” She ducked back into the alleyway and crept to the backdoor of Hope and Anchor, then glanced around before ducking inside. She crept around the back hallways, searching…and then she ran into something small and soft. “Ow! Hey, what’re you doing here!? Costumers aren’t allowed back here!” The waitress she had run into exclaimed. The woman in the white cloak smirked. “Oh, but I’m no costumer…can I borrow that uniform of yours? I think it would look much better on me…” Elsewhere, the manager was in his office counting up his profits when he heard a scream coming from the backroom. Blinking, he stood and rushed out of his room into the hallway, only to find a young, beautiful woman whom he had never seen before adjusting the very high hem of her skirt. She was clad in the usual uniform of his pub, though somehow it seemed absolutely gorgeous on her Goddess-like body, with the short skirt showing off plenty of her amazing legs and the shirt revealing plenty of cleavage. “U-um…who are you?” The man asked, brow furrowing in confusion. The woman blinked, cocking her head to the side. “You mean you don’t remember me, Boss-san? I’m only your best worker here!” The man blinked, then suddenly it all made sense! “Oh, of course Sakura-chan! You hurry and get to work, the costumers are waiting! We always get much better tips when you’re here!” He turned and walked away. The golden-haired woman smirked again before taking one of the doors that lead to the bar. “Excuse me, bartender-san? Your shift’s not over yet, but how about I take over? You must be tired, go on! I’m sure you’d like a break! Don’t worry, I’ll make sure Boss-san pays you extra for how hard you work!” She said with a sickeningly sweet smile. --- Pong to Kanthia and Usopp for Luffy~! The bartender gasped at You-Know-Who's wonderfully, perfectly, happily, bubbly (did I mention perfectly?) nice offer. She was so selfless! She was so wondeful and perfect! The only reason he didn't answer right away was because he was wondering whether to hate her for having a Demon Angel in her, or be happy and allow her to work. Hating her won out, "Yeah, you'd BETTER get out there, you little witch!" He grumbled, practically kicking her out to the front, "And you'd BETTER work hard, or else..." He threatened, wagging his finger at the devil woman. As You-Know-Who walked off, he tilted his head to the side, staring at her perfectly shaped buttocks, and sighed. If only she were interested in him! They could be married with seven kids...! --- Usopp stared at the newcomer, and, like Luffy, didn't mind the extra help in their game. Another participant meant more fun! Chopper settled down, watching the game. He looked like he was a little tired, and seemed to start nodding off. Usopp stopped the game to look at Chopper, and he wordlessly looked at the newcomer and his captain, motioning to the half dozing reindeer. He lifted a giant amount of leaves, as if to say, "On three!" --- Usopp pongs Luffy and Kanthia in an attempt to up Chopper's fun level =) |

The blonde woman sighed, turning away. "Yes sir..." She muttered, small tears shimmering in her now midnight blue eyes. Everyone was so mean to her...it wasn't her fault she had an Angel Demon inside her! She stood at the bar and smiled, however.Ah, people had to pity her now! --- Luffy blinked at Usopp, then his face stretched into a grin and scooped up some leaves before inching his way over to the reindeer. --- Open Pong~! |

Luffy, Usopp, and Samma all drew their leaves up, and dumped them on the poor reindeer. Chopper screamed and leaped up, gasping for air, "HAW!" Usopp laughed, doubling over, "Oh Chopper, we got you good!" "No fair!" Chopper whined, shaking the leaves out of his hair, "I can't fight back with these hoo..." He stared at Samma, his eyes wide. Usopp looked at the other girl, and he blinked. Usopp tried his best to impersonate the reindeer's voice, in an attempt to make it LOOK like the SNIPER was the one who said it, "Dumb Luffy!" Usopp impersonated, his voice as high as it could go, "Dumb Usopp! Stop throwing leaves at me!" --- Usopp/Chopper pong Luffy/Kanthia. |

The first thing Zoro looked for as he entered the Hope and Anchor, the first thing he always looked for when going into a pub, was Marine uniforms. After all, a pirate with a 60 million beri bounty on his head could never be too paranoid. So as he walked up to the bar, he was paying more attention to the other customers around him than to the bartender. (If the Love Cook had been describing said bartender, he doubtless would have added the words, "cute", "leggy" and "blonde", but Zoro didn't particularly care what she looked like. She was handling alcohol, and that was all the swordsman needed to know about her.) It was only after he'd pulled up a stool and sat down that he got a good look at her, and frowned. Something about her was troublingly familiar... he just wished he could remember where he'd seen her before. ----------------------- Saiyako, having gone off in the opposite direction to the one Zoro had approached the pub from, was wandering through the town. She hadn't seen any Straw-hats yet, but... suddenly, she stopped, slapping her forehead. "Baka ne!" If the Straw-hats had been and gone, they'd know already. There would have signs of a disturbance all over the town, and they definitely would have been seen in the bar at one time or another. So if the pirates had arrived, they were still here (and hadn't been for long), and if all the Fangirls needed to know was whether the Straw-hats were here or not, all they had to do was look for Merry. Cursing herself under her breath, she turned around and ran towards the docks. ---------------------- Zoro pongs to Cherry Sue, open pong from Saiyako. |
