Vivian huffed, "Stupid Humans, stupid Earth, stupid languages..." She muttered. Being one of the few Mary Sues who knew what those words really meant to actual Fangirls, she was probably actually WAS putting all of them down. She nodded up at Saiyako, and said, "Yeah, you can make a Log Pose. Not like I can, but you guys had better know exactly what it looks like and exactly what it does. I can't use the Analyzer for that, and if you screw up, it'll look slightly less than a... Log Pose, you said?" She nodded, "Yeah, Log Pose..." She then started walking down the hill towards the port town of Guild Island, "Come on, let's hurry up here. We shouldn't just sit around. That'll waste time." --- Usopp and Chopper looked at each other excitedly, and they abandoned their jobs to look at the new island they were to arrive at. Usopp clamored up into the Crow's Nest (it was official, HE left the spyglass up there, as he knew it was there when he arrived), and Chopper hung onto the banister to the right of the Going Merry Go's figurehead to look at the island, "What is it, Usopp? What is it?" "There's a port town!" Usopp said as he used one eye to look through the spyglass, the other looking through one of his goggles. How his eyes didn't die from the difference in magnification, no one ever asked, "Just keep sailing on! It doesn't seem that there's any Marine base here. It must either be too chaotic or too small to matter." He lowered his spyglass and nodded at Nami, "I think it's okay if we sail up into the port!" He called to the navigator. --- Usopp tags Nami. |

“Ugh…they’d better get here soon, this is getting so boring…” A young woman sitting on a stool at a small bar muttered as she took a dainty sip of her water. Ordinary water didn’t suit a wonderful young woman such as herself, but she had demanded the bartender give it to her because he was supposed to be unfairly discriminating against her to up her angst factor. Usually she’d get some kind of better drink, since she could outdrink anyone and have no hangover the next day. Besides, she could get drunk and have a good excuse to get into the pants of some bishie, or (and this plan was better) be raped by some horrible person and have a bishie save her, take care of her, and then she’d get into his pants. The rape thing would help her angst factor, after all…you’d think it wouldn’t need more, what with the Angel Demon inside her and everyone hating her, but one could never have enough angst. After taking another sip of her water, the woman set the glass down, tucking a strand of shimmering gold behind her ear. Orbs of gleaming sapphire glanced around the room as she drummed perfectly manicured nails on the table. Today she was clad in a tight black mini-skirt, a sort of floaty, white material that formed a half-skirt tied around her waist that fell all the way to her right ankle. She also wore a white, collared shirt which was left just open enough to reveal plenty of cleavage, while a black tie hung loosely around her neck. Her heart-shaped crystal necklace hung around her neck, as it was a gift from her father. And of course, everything was appropriately ripped and torn, just enough to look cool while making her look beat-up and, as she would say “like an angel fallen from heaven”. But this wasn’t all that interesting if no one was taking notice of her. Sighing, she stood, her high-heeled boots thunking against the wood as she stretched her arms above her head. It was then that a bit of conversation happened to catch her ears. “…Yeah, a ship’s pulling into port, they look like pirates…got a flag with a skull with a straw hat on it…crazy, huh?” She blinked. A straw hat? That meant they were finally here! “You’re finally here…I failed once, but I won’t fail again.” She walked back to the stool and grabbed her black cloak, pulling it on and putting the hood up to shield her face. A grin came to her lips that was almost predator-like, flashing perfect pearl-white teeth. “Roronoa Zoro, you will be mine!” She hissed before breaking into a series of maniacal laughter. After a few moments she stopped, glancing this way and that to realize everyone was staring at her. “Um…” She glanced back at the bartender and batted her eyes. “Could I pay you back later?” “Uh…of course!” “Thank you!” With that, she was gone. --- Open Pong Bet you all recognize who that was. "Okay," Kanthia said while trying to peel the bark off of a nearby tree, "Then let's head to town! We can say hi to all the weird townspeople and buy some stuff! And then we can go to the pub and order something weird, like coffee! Kanthia isn't allowed to have coffee any more, but that's okay. Coffee is sometimes boring." She started skipping towards the town in the distance, laughing. "Hurry up, guys!" -- Nami grinned. Finally, they could just sail into an island without having to worry about hiding the ship and making sure Luffy didn't make too much noise. "Thanks, Usopp!" She gave him a thumbs up while scowling at Zoro. "I'm just doing what's best for you, Zoro. If I didn't get you to work, you'd probably go clanking around the ship and not work, which would mean more work for me to give to Sanji-kun. And you don't want that, do you?" Which was when she noticed the dropped mikan leading up to the head of the Going Merry. Twenty minutes later and one bumpy-headed captain later, the ship pulled up beside a small dock meant for fishing boats and small craft. There was a chill in the air, which she guessed came from the perpetual autumn. Some of the trees had no leaves and others had sickly ones, but the island looked lively enough. "Oi, guys! Let's get the ship tied up so I- er, we can go shopping!" -- Open tags. ~Kanthia |

"Uh... yeah... right..." Saiyako said, staring after the skipping Kanthia for a moment. "Not that coffee's weird, or anything..." Then she turned to the other two. "Let's get going then." And she headed off after Kanthia, wondering if she'd have to spend the whole two months trying to stop the girl from peeling bark off trees. ------------------ Zoro was about to ask Nami, at considerable volume, what kind of reasoning that was and why he'd even care how much work she gave the stupid cook, but when she turned and headed towards Luffy, he decided that if the navigator was going to drop the whole argument, maybe it was a good idea for him to do the same thing. As they pulled up at the dock, he stood looking out at the island, frowning. The place looked innocent enough, but Zoro could count on the fingers of one hand the number of islands they'd been to in the Grand Line that hadn't given them trouble of one kind or another. Still... he could at least hope that this one would be different. Open tag from both. OOC: Um, wait a minute... Cherry-Blossom-Sue's waiting to ambush Zoro, and she's leaving the pub? |

Rosebelle grinned and skipped after Kanthia. When she was in the mood Rosebelle liked skipping. "No coffee for me either. I like cheese!" "Ah, there is the pub!" A brown stone building hunched on a nearby corner. It's brightly painted shingle bore the name Hope and Anchor. The sound of chatter floated though the open doors. Open tag -- "Yes Nami-san!" Sanji said smartly as he jumped the rail, rope in hand, to teather the Going Merry. He rushed to the gangway and offered Nami his hand. "Let my buy you a drink, fair lady," he offered smoothly. Tag Nami OOC: WAAA! No one ever wants Sanji! |

Well, maybe Rose-chan's cuteness would help them get some answers out of the townspeople - most people liked cute schoolgirl-types, after all. As they approached the pub, she stopped, looking at the sign over the door. Hope and Anchor. Sounded... kinda turn-of-the-century British, she thought. Which seemed right, because the place looked it, too. "So... should we start here, or did you guys want to wander around for a bit, and come back?" Open tag. |

OOC: She's a Sue, in spite of what she thinks she's only as smart as her preteen Sueauthor can be...which isn't very smart. Worry not Red, this is One Piece, there are Sues for everyone....except Usopp. He gets no love. I even saw a Chopper Sue fic once, but no Usopp... --- "Woooow, this place is so cool!" Luffy gasped as he jumped from the Going Merry to the dock, hand on his hat to keep it from blowing away as he gazed at all the amazing colors on the trees. Zoro jumped down right behind Luffy, and looked around. The place still looked quiet, but... nah, it was probably just his usual paranoia. Besides, the Straw-hat Pirates had brought down both a Shichibukai and a so-called "god", so Zoro wasn't especially worried about not being able to handle whatever this place was likely to throw at them. "I'm gonna head off, too," he said, and then looked over at Nami. "When did you want to meet back here?" Tag to Nami. |

"Ah..." Nami said as Luffy shot off, thinking, "Sanji-kun needs to buy supplies and then accompany me to the clothes shopping district. So let's meet back here in about three hours. And Usopp, can you please go find Luffy before he destroys the island or something? Take Chopper and Zoro if you need to." She hefted a coin purse. "As for me- I'm going to go take advantage of the nearest sale. See you later~!" She was off like bees to flowers. -- Hope and Anchor sounded like a funny name for a place to get alcohol. But she wasn't one to complain because complaining was boring. Oooh...wandering around... "Rosebelle-san, Vivi-san, Saiyako-san...could we please please please wander around? Dundundun! BIC: Vivian nodded happily, "Alright! Let's go exploring! We'll meet back here if we find the Straw Hats! Just making sure, but these Straw Hat Pirates all wear Straw Hats, right?" She shook her head, "Meh, I'll find them one way or another. After all, these guys seem to be the only pirates in town. We'll just find some guys who look scary and we've got our men!" She turned around and walked off, ignoring anyone who tried to tell her anything otherwise, as most of the Straw Hats didn't look as scary as most pirates... --- Usopp hopped down from the Crow's Nest and nodded at Nami, "Alright! Luuuuuffy! Get back here!" He climbed down from the Going Merry Go from the ladder, "Zoro! Come help me! I can't handle a monster like Luffy!" "Canni come too?" Chopper asked as he peered down at the sniper from the railing, "Canni Usopp?" "Hurry up, Zoro! We need to catch him!" Usopp cried as Chopper hopped down and transformed into his full reindeer form, so that he didn't attract too much attention when they got into town. As the entire ordeal went on, Robin continued sitting on her sunchair, "I'll take care of the ship," She murmured just loud enough for the others to notice her existance. Of course, once she said this, she seemed to prefer that people NOT notice her existance. --- Usopp/Chopper group tags Zoro. |

Saiyako stared at Vivian. "They all... wear... and Chrisanthy-sama picked you for this mission why, exactly? Only Luffy wears a straw hat!" She couldn't tell whether the Mage was paying attention to her, though, as Vivian walked off saying something about looking for scary-looking guys. "Vivian, wait, they -" She broke off as she realised the girl wasn't listening to a word she said. "She's right about one thing," she sighed, turning to Rosebelle and Kanthia. "We should split up, take a third of the town each. Since she has no idea what she's looking for..." She muttered the last sentence under her breath, beginning to wonder what Chrisanthy could have been thinking to make them bring the Sue in the first place. "I'll take this side," and she jerked her thumb at the side that included the pub. That was, after all, where Zoro would end up sooner or later if he was in town. "You two pick an area each and let's go. And try not to draw too much attention to yourselves, okay?" ------------------- Zoro sighed. All he'd wanted was a quiet day of sleep, training, and, now that they were in port, drinking. Instead, he seemed to be spending the whole day getting bossed around by Nami and Usopp. "Fine," he growled. "But as soon as we get him calmed down, I'm going to look for a pub." Zoro tags Usopp and Chopper; Saiyako tags Rosebelle and Kanthia. |

Kanthia looked at the remaining sector of the town- it included winding streets and the bulk of the town's resturaunts not situated in the open market. Which meant that she had a chance of finding Luffy somewhere lost with a pile of stolen food in his mouth. ...Which would be totally awesome! "Okay!" She pumped a fist in the air. "Let's meet back in a bunch of time somewhere near here!" With that, she was gone like meat on food-restock day on the Going Merry. -- Nami nodded, ignoring the arm. "Of course, Sanji-kun! Now let's get going before someone steals my purchases!" She cast a glance back to the ship. "...Robin, are you okay to stay watch while we're gone?" -- Nami tags Robin and Sanji. ~Kanthia |

"Food market, huh?" Saiyako grinned at Rosebelle, knowing full well what she was hoping for, and then shrugged. "I guess it's settled, I'll see you guys back here." And she headed off towards the Hope and Anchor. It seemed to make sense to check there first, pubs being a place for gossip, after all... and she definitely was not, she told herself, just trying to throw herself in Zoro's path. After all, even if the Straw-hats were in port, it could take the swordsman hours just to find the pub, so she'd more than likely be in and out before he got anywhere near it. She ignored the voice in the back of her head that reminded her she was coming back later with her teammates anyway... As she'd expected, the pub wasn't crowded this time of day, so a quick scan was enough to assure her that there were no Straw-hat Pirates in the place. That didn't mean they hadn't been here, though. She walked up to the bar, noting the Wanted Posters covering the back wall - Luffy's, Zoro's and Robin's among them - and waved to get the bartender's attention. Tag to the bartender if Christy has a use for him... |

The bartender stared at Saiyako, shook his head, and placed his arm on the counter, "What'll you have?" He asked, smiling through his terribly yellow and green teeth. He must never have brushed his teeth before. It was to be expected, seeing as how this island was rather small and "Out There". --- Robin flipped a page of her book, not looking up from the riveting excitement of... whatever she was reading, "I'll be fine. You guys have fun," She said as she stared at her book. The Straw Hats figured she was already having the most amount of fun she could have. --- Usopp and Chopper walked down the street, the sniper was whistling happily and Chopper closed his eyes happily as a breeze blew by, "Zoro, I like it here," The reindeer spoke to the swordsman, quiet enough that if anyone DID hear him, they would probably believe it came from Usopp, "It's not too warm so I don't feel so hot. Have you ever seen leaves like this? It's so nice..." Chopper blushed, "But Spring islands are much more fun to sleep in..." The three then saw a young, extremely short woman in a strange conical hat walk by them, looking around as if she were searching for something. Usopp shrugged at her and continued walking, "Perhaps she's lost something?" Vivian continued to walk, wondering where the Straw Hats could be, "Gotta find a person in a straw hat, gotta find a person in a straw hat..." She continued her little monologue right past a hooded person, although even though her cloak, one could simply tell her body was sexy and perfect... --- Bartender pongs Saiyako; Chopper pongs Zoro; Vivian "pongs" You-Know-Who (who is even WORSE than the male You-Know-Who) |
