Zoro glared at Luffy, wondering if his captain had finally gone insane. "Since when are they our friends, Luffy? Have you forgotten they want to hurt Sakura-chan?!" Sakura-chan. Saiyako's gut twisted at the phrase, but she tried to keep her revulsion from showing. "We've already sorted out our differences with Sakura, Zoro-san. I know my word on that isn't enough for you, but it's not as though we're asking to share a cabin with her." She turned to the others with a grin. "We'd be happy to sleep out on the deck, it sounds fun." And I'll be closer to Robin that way... But she squashed that thought before it go could any further. --------- Zoro pongs Luffy, open pong from Sai. |

Sakura's eyes lit up and she nodded furiously. "That's right Luffy, these girls want to hurt me! They're no friends! Would you really put your crew's safety over these girls?" Luffy gazed at Sakura evenly for a moment before shaking his head, laughter filling the galley. "No, I wouldn't. But I don't think they're gonna hurt you. They're good people." He said with a shrug. "I can just tell." The blonde's eyes widened. "Good people!?" She sputtered. The boy nodded. "Yup! So I say they can stay if they want!" --- Pong to...everyone? |

"Hurray!" Vivian cried, "We're free to stay on the Going Merry!" She did a slight jig of escalation and then rushed outside, "Sleeping under the stars! Sleeping under the stars!" She chanted from the deck happily. Chopper smiled, "She certainly looks happy." "She seems happy about everything..." Usopp muttered, sweating a bit from the thought of it. He then stretched and stood up, "Alright, I'm getting tired. I think it's time for us to start hitting the hay." "Why should we hit hay, Usopp?" Chopper asked as the long nosed sniper started towards the men's quarters. The reindeer followed and listened to the story about hitting hay as a way to keep evil spirits from haunting one's dreams. Chopper gasped loudly at this revelation. --- Open Pong, moving things along. Wheee... |

As worried as she still was, Saiyako still couldn't help grinning at Luffy's words. "Good people", huh? Maybe the rubber pirate was more resistant to Sakura's powers than she'd dared to hope... "Thank you, Luffy-san," she murmured, with a grateful bow. "We really appreciate this." Then she turned to the rest of the Task Force, raising her voice so as to be heard by the still-bouncing Vivian. "Okay, guys, let's go pick our spots." Open pong. Kanthia's eyes went wide when she heard the declaration of coolty. She was almost ready to have to completely give up this mission and report a failure- leaving Miss Sakura here forever would be horrible, and the only thing more worse than imposing was ruining things forever. It was a little uncomfortable, but it was something that had to be done. She smiled, then smiled a little bigger, and then joined Vivian in the Happy Sweet Deal We Gets To Stay Dance, adding in random lyrics for effect. Soon, it degenerated into a bad rendition of something involving the words 'Golden' and 'Ticket', and Kanthia realized she was pretty tired just as Saiyako-san spoke. "Mou," Kanthia said, "Kanthia will sleep anywhere. Vivian-san, Saiyako-san, Rosebelle-san, wanna find a spot together?" -- Nami stretched long, yawning and motioning with her chin towards Sakura. "We have an extra hammock somewhere in the storage closet. Where do you want to sleep?" -- Kanthia tags teh Task Force. Nami tags Sakura. ~Kanthia |

OOC: Gah, sorry this took so long, guys. I've been so out of it lately.. --- The blonde frowned thoughtfully. "Well...I wouldn't mind sleeping with Zoro-ku-- Eep!" She yelped as she quite suddenly found Luffy in her face. "What do you want you lit-- I mean, Captain?" Luffy grinned, then stuck out his tongue. "Sorry, but Zoro sleeps in the boys cabin! No girls allowed!" He declared in the childish manner one would expect from a kid ten years younger than him. Was it everyone's imagination, or did Luffy sound just a tiny bit smug about saying this fact to Sakura? Sakura stumbled back a bit, blinking. "But...but...Luffy-san" she ground out, only barely keeping herself in check. "Zoro-kun and I are in love. Surely you--" "Nope! No girls allowed!" Luffy declared again. --- Pong to the other Straw Hats for their reactions? |

Zoro had been having uncharacteristically warm and fuzzy feelings at the thought of sharing a hammock with Sakura, and hadn't really thought about being separated from her, so Luffy's sudden denial hit him like a bucket of cold water in the face. "Luffy, you... this..." he stammered. "This isn't like that stupid cook wanting to sleep in the girls' cabin, Sakura-chan and I both..." He trailed off, realising suddenly that as much as he wanted Sakura to sleep with him, he really didn't want her in there with Luffy and Usopp and especially not the Ero Cook... "Fine," he sighed, putting his arm around Sakura and pulling her close to him. "We'll sleep in the galley." Pong to poor Luffy, whose plan just backfired... |

Both Sakura's and Luffy's eyes widened simultaneously. “WHAT!?” “Are...are you sure, Zoro-kun? You'd do that for me?” Sakura gasped, her sapphire eyes filling with tears as she was so moved by Zoro's willingness to give up his nice, comfy hammock for her. “But...but...” Luffy sputtered, for once shocked speechless. “But...GALLEY! For...FOOD and...yeah...” He tried to come up with a good reason for Zoro not to sleep with Sakura. But it seemed no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't come up with anything! What was wrong with them sleeping together anyway? Zoro did seem to really like her... “So we can sleep in the galley, then?” Sakura asked as she draped her arms over Zoro, fixing Luffy with a stare that clearly said he damn well better be okay with them being together in the galley. “I..I...” The rubber pirate trailed off, wincing as Sakura moved even closer. Since when did Zoro let girls get that close to him? It was just... “We can? SQUEE~! Oh Zoro-kun, I'm so happy~!” Sakura squealed, squeezing the swordsman close to her and planting a wet kiss on his cheek. Luffy felt his hands clench into fists unconsciously at his side. A nakama of Zoro's was a nakama of his. Especially if he said they were more than nakama. But if that were true... Why did it seem so wrong!? --- Open pong |
