“Yeah Sakura, sing for us!” Luffy piped up. He had always wanted a musician. The Mary Sue blushed. “Well, if you all insist.” She said with a shy smile, standing with Zoro’s hand in hers. After straightening her skirt she slowly withdrew, sending the swordsman a final loving look before removing her hand and coming to the center of the room. “Alright, this song is for all of you! T…the only nakama I’ve ever had.” She declared, sapphire eyes shining. “For the very first time, I’m accepted so…this is to thank you all, for taking in someone like me.” With that and a small bow, the golden-haired girl began to sing. It was in a different language, something none of the crew could understand, but her voice was so beautiful that it didn’t matter. It was like a bird’s song, like sweet bells chiming in the wind, her own instrument that could never be recreated. As her song filled the air, a feeling of peace and harmony fell over the entire ship. The gentle waves of the sea seemed to provide a soothing sort of background music, mixing with Sakura’s song to provide the proper atmosphere. It was amazing, to say the least. But what the crew did not know were the power of the words behind Sakura’s song, each one carefully chosen to slowly unchain the bonds that held them all together and use those links to draw them closer to herself. Her song was just another step closer to twisting this world to her whims. But of course, the crew couldn’t have known. --- Pong to like, everyone? |

Zoro couldn't take his eyes off Sakura as she sang. He would have thought it impossible for her to seem any more beautiful than she did usually, but looking at her now, he could see the goddess she'd once been, more beautiful than the stars... But as her song went on, her beauty became almost too much for him, and he closed his eyes, shutting out the sight of the ship, of his nakama, of the still-whispering Fangirls, losing himself in Sakura's perfect voice. He'd never felt so peaceful. --------------- Saiyako stiffened as Tenshi began to sing. Crap, crap, CRAP! She wasn't sure exactly what the Sue was doing, but whatever it was felt wrong... And then she had an idea. Maybe she couldn't sing the world into line like a Sue could, but Saiyako had once had a damn good reputation as a singer (even if it was only at school and church). "Vivian-chan," she said urgently. "Can you feel what she's doing? Is there anything you can do to counter it? Because if you could support me, I have an idea..." --------------- Saiyako pongs Vivian. Zoro is in no condition to pong anyone. |

Suddenly, everything was okay in Nami's world. Nobody was bothering her. She didn't care about money or buying things with money. She didn't care about Sanji making dinner, about Luffy eating her portion, about the mikan that probably needed to be tended after being harvested. Sakura was so beautiful. And she was so similar to Nami- how could you possibly hate a girl like that? They had gone through so many of the same things, only Sakura's pain had been worse. She was like a little sister. She looked straight into the young woman's eyes, compelled to not move. -- Nami no pongy. ~Kanthia |

Vivian thought long and hard, "Um... It's the singing, I remember... when I was little, there was a siren... and they sang and people liked them. I think if we can stop the singing, the spell will be broken, Saiyako, but the longer she sings, the hold she has on the group will be that much greater. OH!" "ONEE-CHAN!" Vivian immediately thought up the perfect Mary Sue plan, and tackled Sakura to the floor, interrupting her song, "You were so perfect! So wonderful! I LOVED it!" "HEY!" Usopp and Chopper shouted at the same time. Usopp nearly leapt up on the table in anger, "What are you doing? You stopped her from singing!" Gahh! Why would ANYONE want to do that ANYWAY? --- Vivian assaults Sakura. |

Luffy felt as if he were floating as Sakura sang, and a grin came to his face. Man, he really had picked the perfect musician! Her voice was so beautiful, it almost felt as if he were being carried away by it...as if everything else were disappearing but her lovely voice, as if it were all fading away... And then the feeling quite abruptly stopped as Sakura's beautiful song was interrupted by Vivian crushing her spinal column, bringing a less-than-beautiful "GACK!" from the Mary Sue as she crashed to the floor. The blonde lay there upon the floor, twitching. "Ahh...it's alright, I-I understand." She choked out, sitting up and brushing herself off before reaching out to pat Vivian on the head. "Thank you for your kind words, Vivian-san." She cooed as she glanced over at the fangirls to shoot them a death glare. --- Open Pong |

Zoro was suddenly dragged back to the real world by Sakura's cry. She's in danger! He was already halfway across the room with Sandai Kitetsu in his hand before he realised that his goddess had only been jumped on by an overenthusiastic listener, and was, in fact, in no danger at all. Sheathing Kitetsu, he rushed to help Sakura up. "Are you alright, Sakura-chan? She didn't hurt you, did she?" This last was said with a death-glare in Vivian's direction. ------------- Saiyako gave the Sue a brief smirk before walking over to the group. "Vivian-chan is a little too enthusiastic sometimes, Sakura," she said, giving the mage a quick smile, "but she's right, you do have a wonderful voice... I'd love to sing with you sometime." ------------- Zoro pongs Sakura. Open pong from Saiyako, sort of also to Sakura. |

"Y-yes, I'm fine." Sakura said with a smile at Zoro. "She just startled me, that's all. I can understand, my singing does that to people sometimes." She then looked to Saiyako, eyes narrowing. "Oh, I'm sure singing with you would be lovely, Saiyako-san...but my voice is really more of a solo act, you understand right?" "Oh, I understand completely," Saiyako answered, her gaze not wavering from Tenshi's. "So is mine, normally. But there's just something so special about a duet... about that kind of partnership..." She trailed off, the wistfulness in her voice only partly feigned. Tenshi might be an evil Sue out to destroy the Straw-hats, but her singing was beautiful... and music had always had a strong effect on Saiyako. Then she shrugged, turning away. "But I guess you just can't work with other people, huh?" Saiyako pongs Sakura. |

Kanthia looked around, a little confused seeing as she'd been unintentionally affected by the song. "Huh...h-hai! Kanthia would like to make music with Sakura-san too. She has a friend who sang. Her name was Koriya, and she wasn't that pretty but- ah- Kanthia's head hurts. Forgive Kanthia." Glares gave her headaches. She turned away from the chaos and stepped out the door, wondering what would happen if Sakura accidentally fell overboard. Hey- maybe if she yelled loud enough, her old Sue would come back from her perpetual journey to snog Ace and help them. "Mou, Rosebelle-san. Why d'you think people write Sues in the first place? Maybe they're lonely. Maybe everyone is a little lonely." She sighed and proceeded to collapse into a seated position, leaning on the wall. "Maybe Sakura-san will help everyone feel better." --- Nami jumped up as Sakura was knocked to the ground. Something was going on very, very wrong here, and she wasn't quite sure what- but if these four girls were going to stay on the ship until they got to the next island, everyone would need a place to sleep. Assuring that Sakura was safe didn't help clear her head at all. Had she just been under some sort of mind control? What was the girl doing in her head in the first place? "Thanks, Sakura." She smiled, shaken. "Since we're all here, we should decide where everyone should sleep tonight. Sakura, would you rather sleep with me and Robin in the women's room? We can hang up an extra hammock, unless you'd rather sleep somewhere else." -- Kanthia pongs Rosebelle. Nami pongs Sakura. ~Kanthia |

Sakura's scowl wavered a bit. What would people think if she couldn't work well with others? "W-well....I...perhaps we could sing sometime. Maybe." She muttered, finally looking away. "Oh, I'd be glad to sleep in the same room as you two, as long as it's already with Robin-neesan." The blonde said with a dazzling smile. She then glanced over at Robin, still smiling. Rosebelle sat down next to Kanthia and cocked her head. "I think you are right Kanthia. I think they are lonely. Of course, their objectional personalities may have something to do with it. Treat people well and you won't be lonely for long. Look at you Kanthia. Everyone loves you 'cause you are nice. If only our little Sakura would try that she might have a chance with the guys she wants. Look, was I the only one not blown away by her singing? I mean, her voice is pretty and all but the pitch is too high to be comfortable for my ears. Some of the high notes made me flinch." Tag Kanthia -- Sanji is below deck being treated for blood loss after seeing Sakura sing. |

BIC: Robin looked up from her book, and smiled at Sakura, although the Mary Sue could tell it wasn't a sincere one like the others'. Her smile was like the Fangirls', a "I'm onto you, but I'll play along for now" smile, "Indeed, Musician-san, I'll let you use my sleeping bag. I'll do my watch tonight and tomorrow we'll be off. Before that..." She looked at the four women in the corner as they spoke to one another, "These women will have to leave. It's... a little sad to see them leave though..." "Yeah," Chopper said, "Vivian and Kanthia are so cool... Too bad they have to leave as well..." "But let's face it, Sakura is a hundred times better!" Usopp said, not even realizing he had said something like that in front of the Fangirls, "And if we had a choice, it HAS to be her who joins!" Chopper whined, but he nodded, "Yeah, you're right, Usopp. The Going Merry can't fit much else on here anyway..." --- Bleh post, kicking things back up. Saiyako looked over as she sensed Robin's gaze on her. Damn, she'd almost forgotten they were likely to be thrown off... unless she could come up with an excuse for them to stay really quickly. "Well, it might be a little difficult for us to find a place to stay in town tonight..." she said thoughtfully. "I know it would make things too crowded if we sailed with you guys, but would anyone mind if we stayed onboard just overnight?" Pong to Sakura and the Straw-hats... Sakura looked sick at the thought of the fangirls staying on board, as if she had just eaten bad meat. However, she quickly pasted a sweet, but worried smile on her face. "But Saiyako-san, I don't think there's enough room for you all. I'm sure there's an Inn somewhere on the island! Surely you'd rather stay in an inn with your own rooms than be cramped in with all of us?" "You can stay~!" Luffy chirped suddenly. Sakura's jaw dropped and she rounded on Luffy. "WHAT!?" "They can stay." The boy repeated, blinking in confusion. "Didn't you hear me?" "I DID HEAR YOU YOU IDIOT, I JUST--" The Sue paused as she realized she was all but screaming at Luffy. She gave a nervous giggle. "I-I mean....are you sure you want all these people on your ship, Captain?" Luffy nodded, folding his arms and grinning. "Sure~! Who cares if it's a little cramped? My friends are welcome any time!" "B-but...but..." Sakura stuttered, trying to think of something to go against Luffy. But if she said anything, she'd be denying "Captain's Orders".
