Super GM Edit no Jitsu: For those of you wondering what this is all about, see the Game Ideas thread for the explanation. Alright! The applications has been brought up! Remember, each nonoriginal character from One Piece has a SLIGHT knowledge of Fangirls/Fanboys/Mary Sues/Gary Stus. They understand what these words are and who these people are, but they haven't come into contact with many of them. Depending on the character, they can be against them, apathetic towards them, or, in the case of Sanji and Fangirls, adore them. It's up to you to keep the OP characters in character when interacting with Fangirls. Next, The Fangirls are to be gone for two months, away from their family and whatnot. Roleplay appropriately, if your fangirl is scared of leaving the house for vacations, or has a sister who is attached to her, then it could give the character a little more depth if they dwell a bit on it. (but wangsting is a no no.) Two characters max. They can either be one of each: NonOriginal One Piece Character, Fangirl Order One Piece Task Force Member. Or two of one type. If you only want to play one character, be my guest. Next up, Fangirls' powers are summed up by one thing. They can create items through their imagination. However, there are rules given by the Fangirl Order about making items. They are: You cannot create a Mary Sue/Gary Stu while on a mission (in other words, creating a human or animal while on the mission will get you removed instantly from the mission). You cannot create items that aren’t natural to the world you are in (such as, don't create lightsabers or magic in the One Piece world, and if you want your Fangirl to have a Devil's Fruit, PM me before applying. I want to work it out, but I REALLY don't want Devil Fruits in this story, aside from already ones already made). You can only create items that will return the world to its original state (That is, if the Straw Hats has been moved off course already due to an evil Fangirl's shenanigans, you can make an Eternal Pose to the island they were previously on). Other rules of the Fangirl Order include: You cannot interfere with the characters' fate (as in, don't make Sanji fall in love with you and leave the Going Merry, as that'd suck). If you somehow DO find a wormhole that allows you to travel through time (As I can never tell if one will appear), or end up in possession of the Pluton Blueprints or gain a super ultimate weapon of mass destruction, you CANNOT use it! Some evil Fangirls/Mary Sues break the rules, but two wrongs don't make a right. Return the Blueprints, destroy the mass destroying weapon, and sew up that wormhole! Failure to comply with these rules to keep godmoding away from the game will result in IMMEDIATE removal of all characters you possess. I do not take kindly to godmoders. The other rules are normal. This is a game that does not focus completely on super powers to save the day. Think outside the box and defeat the Fangirls in a way no one would expect. It's playing along like a mystery, not a hacknslash frenzy. Those are boring anyway. When applying, I will give you two chances to apply. If you cannot create a good character/writing sample in two tries, then I will not let you join, mostly because I need to be strict about characters. A) I can't take too many Task Force members. B) if you can't make a good writing sample in two tries at MOST, then how can you RP well when the story begins? Got it? Good. --- Alright, enough boring rules. Here are the applications. For Fangirls I want: Name: Age: Gender: Family (Names are not completely needed, to protect family identities): Likes: Dislikes: Physical Description: (Please include your eye color, hair color, clothing, and maybe something special about you.) Personality: History: Writing Sample: If you are submitting an application for an OP character, I need only a writing sample for the OP character. I need to see if you will play in character. Thanks. --- Here is an example: Name: Chrisanthy (Christy) Kohn (General of the Fangirl Order) Age: 18 Gender: Female Fangirl or One Piece: Fangirl Family: Mother, Father, Older Brother, 21, Younger sister, 16 Likes: Role Playing, writing, Dragon Quest, Dungeons and Dragons. Dislikes: Hentai, horror movies, most people of the male variety, seafood Physical Description: Christy has dark brown eyes, dark enough to look black from a distance. She seems to have an infinite frown, and at first glance doesn't look like a very happy person. Her long hair is brown, which turns light brown if she stays outside for a long time. She wears a long dark colored skirt that seems pretty dirty, and a shirt that usually clashes with the dark navy skirt. She wears glasses that make her look like a librarian, and she has a slightly noticable scar on her neck, where she nearly pierced her jugular vein five years ago. Personality: Rather proud, and enjoys showing her point through jokes and other annoying fashions. In fact, she is the least liked out of the three Generals of the Fangirl Order. When she is sad, she hides it by laughing at the problem. She is a rather strange character, as you can never tell when she is actually sad at something. History: Christy was born in Southern California, raised in Southern California, and lives in the same house she has lived in for sixteen years. Her history is rather boring, no parents divorcing, no family members dying when she could really remember them... Her most traumatic moment in her life was when her cat, Star, died when she was little. Because of this, she seems to be slightly detached from the reality of life, and imagines herself a princess that must be saved by a knight and shining armor. So far, no man has fit that... requirement... --- Let the applications begin! |

J.A. Lover: Non Original Characters means characters NOT made up. Only people created by Oda can be One Piece characters. Not to mention that's not much of a history. Mwa ha ha, this shall be fun, especially after all we've been talking about. *rubs hands together evilly* I'm guessing we'll have to PM Saiyako about it too....you know, unless she doesn't apply for Zoro....which would probably cause the universe to explode if she didn't, so I'm sure all will be fine. Of course, I’ll be applying for Luffy. So, here we go… Writing Sample: Monkey D. Luffy liked to do a lot of things. He loved to play tag with everyone on his ship, even when some of the participants weren’t quite as eager about it. He loved to try and steal meat from the kitchen, and he never really minded getting caught either because that was all a part of the game in a way. He loved to draw, even though he really wasn’t all that good, as Usopp tended to point out constantly. One of the things Luffy also loved to do was sing. Of course, he had a hard time remembering the words usually, so most of the time he’d just hum. He would hum silly tunes in an off-key way as he bounced along on the deck, occasionally breaking into the goofy lyrics when he could remember them. He would hum chipper, jovial tunes as he walked through town, searching for some sort of new adventure. And then there were the times where he sat by himself up on the Going Merry’s figure head, running his palms over the rough, beaten wood. The sea would stretch out before him, an endless sparkling blue. When he hummed his music here, it wasn’t because he couldn’t remember the words. It was because when he was singing to that mother sea, he didn’t need them. Ehn, crap, but it was cute to write…and sort of gave you no insight into the character at all, but it was fun anyway. |

I would like to try out for Sanji please (don't be too shocked now). Sanji sat on the galley roof and smiled. Zoro ran past for the fifth time. If only they had swords, but alas, the horde of fangirls chasing Zoro was unarmed. Even Zoro was no to ungentlemanly enough to hurt unarmed girls. It was quite hot and some of the girls were looking sweaty. "Here you are, my dear." said Sanji as he passed drinks down to the girls as they ran past, to help them keep up their strength. Name: RoseBelle Age:19 Gender:Female Fangirl or One Piece: Fangirl Family (Names are not completely needed, to protect family identities):Father, Younger brother 18, Older brother, 31. Likes: Manga, drawing, sushi, ballet, karate, One Piece. Dislikes: Mary-Sues, Gary-Stu's, bad dubs, crappy anime (ie Ultimate Muscle), crazy fangirls, serial flamers. Physical Description: Blue eyes, light brown hair, knee socks, black pirate skirt, red t-shirt, shortish but long legged. Has fondness for manga girl clothes. Personality: Slow to anger but scary when she get's there. Friendly but a little reserved. Likes to get in there and get busy. History: An anime fan from early childhood, RoseBelle always had great rescept for fandoms and characters. Protective by nature there was no way she was going to sit by and let anyone drag her beloved favourite characters off and force them to have babies and massage feet for all time. She joined the Tast Force as soon as she heard of it's existance, glad to finally be able to help. Her dream is to never see another character fall victim to the evil fangirls Writing Sample: "No! Get that baby away from me! I don't care if it's blonde and has a metal arm! I'm 15! I've never even met you... AL!!!" Edward ran, the fangirl with the baby ran. Rosebelle had not been allowed sporks since the Miroku incident but from this range the HetNet should be just fine. Rosebelle fired from her vantage point on the roof and watched with satisfaction as Ed's persuer was tangled in rope and stumbled foward, her baby cushioned by piles of net. Ed disappeared around the corner, into the safe custody of Alex Armstrong. |

When you're playing Luffy? You might as well say Mihawk's in the Grand Line and then expect Zoro to not go there... In other words, of course I'm applying for Zoro... Writing Sample: Zoro sat alone on the poop deck, cleaning his white sword. The Love Cook sometimes teased him about the fact that he was more concerned about keeping his swords clean than himself, but Zoro didn't care about that. It wasn't anything he could - or would - deny, and it was, ironically, one of the best ways to banish his nightmares. It didn't keep her away, of course. Almost nothing did. When he trained, when he fought, when he stood tied to a post in the hot sun to prove his strength, even when he simply sat on the deck looking out to sea... he'd turn his head and catch a glimpse of dark blue hair, slick with sweat, or hear a soft, sad voice speak his name when he knew there was no one there. The only time she went away was when Luffy was with him. -------- If the ending seems a little weird, it's because it was threatening to turn into a fic, so I had to stop it somewhere... I'm thinking about applying for a Fangirl, too, but I haven't decided for sure yet. |

Gesh! Kanthia was going to make a writing sample yesterday night, but she temporarily lost her inside-her-head virginity (though she is happy that it is resolved and everyone is happy! It scared her that some words were said, but happy endings are her favourite kind) Yosh! Writing Sample: She was sitting on her deck chair, enjoying a glass of something delightfully fruity with a touch of bubbly, mikan and what could only be rose petals that Sanji-kun had given her amidst a sea of hearts only minutes before. It was rather delicious. She returned to the newspaper open on her lap. Scanning the thing (while being careful not to get ink stains on her hands or skirt), she found the gossip column. Not like she believed anything that was in that silly column, but it was good for a laugh- to discover that Mihawk and Shanks were reportedly in some sort of loving relationship, for example, or that Crocodile had been allegedly sending love letters from prison to his one true love, Nami of the Straw Hat Pir- She screamed, throwing the newspaper over the side of the ship and swore never to read the gossip columns again. -- Bleah. Hai, and just so that Kanthia points it out, she plays a rather bitchy Nami (perhaps more bitchy than canon). If it isn't already obvious ^-^; ~Kanthia |
