Righty-o then. Getting to it...oh, and I use the same name for all RPs, mostly...Or I'll forget my character. ^^;; And I just have a thing for the name. So sue me. XD Name: Karin Mazataki Age: 17 (Junior in high school) Gender: Female Race/Species: Human Distinguishing Marks: None Anime/Manga/Whatever they're from: OC...so no one knows if I'm RPing her horribly e-e ...just kidding! ^^;; Family: Has a Father, Tyler (nicknamed Ty), and Mother, Naomi, in California. Her older brother, Joseph, died due to the Angel project when they were young. Likes: Fruit (especially Strawberries), green tea, music, being outside, and just hanging out (Typical teen. ahaha XD). Dislikes: Moving, being bored (which she won't be at the boarding house ^o^), being told what to do, and people who annoy her. Fav. Saying: "Impossible is just a word to let people feel better when they quit." She said it to her mom when Naomi quit kickboxing, and it has been her favorite ever since. (Yes, it is from Skies of Arcadia Legends, and is also my favorite saying.) Hobbies: Singing, kickboxing, reading, video games Physical Weaknesses: Has weak ankles. She has to have them taped when playing sports, or they'll give out quite easily. She also bruises easily. Physical Strengths: Her legs and arms are strong because of kickboxing. That's pretty much it. Powers (if any): Nothing super-cool. Sorry. ^^;; Weapon: Karin and her mother took up kickboxing after Naomi saw a special about young women protecting themselves form attackers...considering herself as one of those 'young women', she enrolled the both of them for a Kickboxing class. She quit after the first two weeks, but her daughter continued on. So, Karin can punch and kick pretty hard. Oh! And she will resort to biting when she needs to. ^O^ Physical Description: Long black hair and reddish-brown eyes. She thinks she's short, standing at 5' 4". As for weight, she weighs around 125 pounds. Clothing-wise, Karin usually wears blue jeans and whatever top she grabs first. She usually wears a black spagetti strap tank top under her shirt, long sleeved or short. She likes the Gothic Lolita style, but doesn't dress like it. Personality: Karin's usually quiet and polite, but has a short temper...you annoy her long enough and she'll burst. She likes tranquility, but has a hard time being still. She tends to stare out the window or at a wall and zone out, especially in school. She likes helping people...or trying to at least. When someone comes to her with a problem she'll try her best to help...and hopefully not make it worse. History: When Karin was 5, her brother was taken for the Angel project...he was one of the failures. Her parents told her it was an 'accident', and gave her no explaination. She lived happily, but always felt that something-SOMEONE-was missing from her life. They eventually moved, and have been ever since. Karin hates moving- so, when her father tells her about his new job offer in California, Karin refuses to move. "I'm staying here...I'm sick of moving!" she said, and found out about the Sakura no Yume. Writing Sample: hmmm...I guess I'll type my first post, or something. ^^;; Karin got out of her parents car and gazed at the building before her. The Sakura No Yume...She clutched at her stomach, a knot building up inside of it. She was nervous... "Karin, stop daydreaming and get your things out of the car." Her mother's voice startled her a bit. She looked back inside the car and her mom rolled down the window. "Mom, don't worry...I'll be fine here. I go to the same school the other kids do, so I already know who they are." She grinned. "And if anyone attacks me, I'll just beat 'em up!" She flashed her mom a thumbs up sign and went to the trunk, ignoring Naomi's ramblings of "Kickboxing is no subsitute for a nice, protective man" and "Don't come crying to us if you get hurt!" She rolled her eyes- her mother could be so overprotective sometimes...and whiny. Esepcially about her getting a "nice, protective man". Karin's dad handed her her suitcase, and hugged her goodbye. "You be careful, alright? Keep in touch- We expect a call every two weeks!" She hugged him back and nodded. "I promise to call. Do good in Cali, ok?" "Tyler, we're going to miss our flight!" Her mom waved to her as her father got back in the car. "Bye honey! We love you!" With a final wave they drove away, leaving their daughter on the side of the road. She laughed silently, and returned her attention to the huge boarding house in front of her. The Sakura no Yume... Karin took a deep breath, then headed toward the door. ...That it? Oh, yeah...password. Forgotten Angels rocks, Digi-senchou. XD ...And did I make her too Sue-ish. *will shoot herself in head if she did* |

Hmmm...well, alright. She seems a bit flat, but I'm sure once we actually see her in play we'll be able to define her character. I'm gonna have to ask you to wait until "tomorrow" game time for her intro though, since we're right in the middle of something. But yeah, Karin's accepted. |

I dunno. She needs something about her personality that makes her stand out. Every character in FA has some little thing that makes them unique, that makes them them. She doesn't have that. |

Gah... OK, I must've screwed something up in there, or, with all due respect, you misunderstood, Digi. I said that he only transforms every full moon... Not every night. If I said that, I'll change it. Problem solved. I think.  Name: Nasake Ookami Age: 16 Gender: Male Race/Species: Human (exposed to radiation from Seirei) Distinguishing Marks: Two parallel-line scars just below collarbone Anime/Manga/Whatever they're from: Original. *locks in safe* Family: He can't remember their names, he ran away when he was 10 years old Likes: Cool, humid weather, water, rain, winter Dislikes: Hot days, deserts, small spaces, overly hot summers Fav. Saying: "... You might say I have a 'furry little problem'..." Hobbies: Swimming, skiing, drawing (although he isn't fantastic) Powers (if any): Nasake can turn into a werewolf (his last name being quite coincidental) (And just to make things less complicated, when he turns back human his clothes are already on X3 ) Physical Weaknesses: Human- Although he does play a few sports, Nasake is not very muscular and can't lift a lot of weight, and he is not very enduring to pain and injury. He is kind of a klutz and can sometimes be pretty clueless as to his surroundings. He also transforms every month, on the night of the full moon, at midnight and stays a werewolf until sunrise. He can't remember anything that has happened when he had been a werewolf, only that he has done the latter and that he needs to get home. He has a strange necklace with a locket in the shape of a paw print that he only wears on the night of the full moon-- It keeps him from transforming. However, after midnight the locket starts sapping his power slowly until he has to transform before it kills him. In short, he has to transform every full moon or he would die. He can also transform at any time during the night of that phase if it's after midnight, meaning he has to get somewhere secluded so he can transform and not hurt anyone. Werewolf- The werewolf side of Nasake has a mind of its' own, meaning that Nasake's conscience cannot control what it does. Basically, it could run around like hell and kill a dozen people and Nasake can't control that until sunrise, when the 'werewolf' side of his conscience goes dormant and his 'human' conscience wakes up. However, even a werewolf has weaknesses-- The werewolf is highly sensitive to light and heat, its' base element being Ice, and can be deterred easily by either. Physical Strengths: Human- Nasake is a very good runner-- Throughout his lifetime, he had to run a lot to get to somewhere safe to transform. His legs are very strong due to this. Werewolf- The werewolf Nasake is strong. Very strong. As in pick-up-a-rigless-semi-truck-and-throw-it-strong. It could run thru a cement wall and make it seem like it walked through a sheet of paper. It can also run very fast, enough to overtake a car on the highway. The werewolf has an array of instincts that resemble a wolf's, but have been extremely radical in the werewolf's case. It will attack any living thing, human, animal or whatever, that it senses, helpless or not. It's a living incarnation of pure cold-bloodedness, and a mean, lean, killing machine. Weapon: Human- None Werewolf- Claws, fangs Physical Description: Human- Nasake is about five foot six, and roughly 180 pounds, only guesswork because he never cared to and/or got the chance to weigh and measure himself, with dark blue unkempt hair, almost black, and green eyes. He's always wearing his super-baggy, old, and faded jeans and black T-shirt. Werewolf- The werewolf is around 300 pounds and a good 9 feet when standing up straight, with demonic yellow cat eyes and sky-blue fur. It has a mohawk-like mane, colored dark blue that goes from the forehead down to the top of the creature's rump; There is also a smaller chest mane, that starts at the base of the throat and ends parallel to the base of the back legs. The werewolf's general physique is somewhat out of proportion-- Enormously muscular front legs with large handlike claws made to rip your insides out, with a somewhat large wolf's head, compared to small, normally sized wolf hind legs. Small lines of dots trace across the werewolf's body, joining a irregular shapes at each joint. (I'll post a piccy of the werewolf when I get home) Personality: Nasake is a realtively quiet person, almost shy, but toward any friends he is quite laid-back and relaxed. In stressful sitations, he has a habit of running his fingers thru his hair and pacing a little. He is rather frustrated with his killer werewolf alter-ego thing, and is always trying to get around it in some way. History: Nasake's family was one of the very few survivors of the Angel incident. He was only 3 years old. Nasake can only remember very little, but he remembers a bright silvery flash and a prickling hot feeling just below his left collarbone. Later on, he discovered the scar. A few years later, when he was 10, he transformed for the first time, and nearly massacred his family. He decided that for their own safety, he would have to run away. And he did. When Nasake was 13 he discovered the mysterious locket which let him stave off his transforming for a while. Now, 3 years later from then, Nasake has decided that a cautious settling-down in a boarding house in Ohio would be a reasonable choice. He has no idea what he's getting himself into. ~~~ OK... That good? |

Naomi thinks of herself as a “young, modern woman” that should be going where all the hip women go. Her mother’s constant ramblings for Karin to find herself a “nice, rich young man” infuriate her. Against her mother’s wishes, she got a job at the mall in the music store, and has worked there for about two years. Karin hates moving with a passion. Damn. I know what I did. I forgot to save my edited edits when I went to lunch.....ARGH....><;; I'll just add on... Karin likes to have fun with her friends, and is usually seen smiling. She gets embarrassed when people compliment her, but is happy at the same time. She stands up for her friends and cares deeply for them- She believes that friends should stand by you no matter what. As a result, she's always there with a hug if needed. gahhhh...Forget Fourth of July parties- I'm sleeping all day. @_@ Finally going home from work... |
