Saaa....good, but she still needs some kind of personality flaw. Now she seems a bit Sue-ish, the main reason I accepted her was because I thought she was quiet so that'd be a sufficiant flaw to make her seem like a real person. What really makes a character good is when they seem like an original person, not a mere face on the street. I don't want just a plain, nice girl in my game, I want a -Karin- with a -personality-. |

*headdesk* Once more...><;; Personality: Quiet, shy, nervous around new people, a bit lonely, always thinking Because of constant moving due to her father's job, Karin has a hard time meeting new people. She tends to be quiet and is always thinking, causing her to seem a bit distant. She’s a good listener, but doesn’t always know what to say to make people feel better. Because of that, she tends to joke nervously about the matter and hopes that it helps...most of the time it doesn't. She hates having anything hang over her head, so she refuses to borrow things from others. When nervous or stressed, she twists a chunk of her hair repeatedly around her finger and bites her bottom lip. When someone asks her a question, Karin is hesitant to answer- she always thinks before she speaks. She can be seen as a daydreamer because she's always thinking...sometimes getting her into trouble in class. ...ta da? Thanks a lot for helping me with this...I think I'm annoying you, but you're very sweet to not chop my head off for being such a bother! ^^;; |

Alright, Kanthia and I were talking about being jerks and adding Marche to the story, and I really like Marche who's so cute so I kinda asked Digi if I could play him. If this little guy's accepted, he will join "Tomorrow" in the FA timeline. Name: Marche Radiuju Age: 15 Gender: Male Race/Species: Human Distinguishing Marks: Nothing out of the ordinary Anime/Manga/Whatever they're from: Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Family: A mother, nameless, and a little brother, Doned Likes: Playing video games with his brother, watching good triumph over evil, Ritz. Dislikes: People who fight unfairly, turkish delight, being away from his family. Fav. Saying: "I need to fight fairly. Chivalry is my priority over all." Hobbies: Training weaker members of the "Nutsy" Clan. Physical Weaknesses: Marche is decent at many things overall, but that makes him very mediocre at everything he does, especially in speed and magical prowress. His weakest point is his low magic power, which makes his Blue Magic almost ineffectual. Physical Strengths: His highest point is his defense. The best thing for him to do is to take damage for the rest of the group through defensive actions. Powers (if any): Possesses the Chivalry of a paladin, which makes him able to nurse people slightly on the battlefield with bandages and somesuch. His other high points are the Holy abilities he possesses, which range from atttempting to disarm enemies to blasting them with his sword, enhanced with the holy powers of the gods. He also possesses a few Blue Magics, but he never really uses them, as most of them would lower his reputation quite a bit (who wants to be known as the boy who "Bad Breath"s an enemy to death? Yeah, thought not). Weapon: A two handed sword, which seems out of place for a boy with such a slight build. Physical Description: March has blue eyes, and blonde hair, pulled back in a small ponytail. He wears the traditional armor of Ivalice, and attached to his hip are strange cards that seem to possess no real power here in this world... Personality: Marche is very soft spoken, but he carries a big sword as opposed to a stick. On the outside, he seems like a very easy person to push around, as he allows most anyone to make fun of him and other such things. He simply grins and bears it. However, he seems to possess a few personality flaws. That is Ritz. As he began working with her, he began to aquire great feelings for her. He tends to become jealous of other men around her. Also, he tends to rely a bit too much on his power to get what he wants. Now that Ritz has gone missing, he is determined to rescue her and bring her back to her home in St. Ivalice, whether or not she wants to return... History: After Marche's parents divorced, his mother moved them out to a small town in the country named St. Ivalice. Here, he just started settling down with two good friends, Mewt and Ritz, when Mewt showed the group a strange book, the Grand Grimoire, the Final Fantasy, which magically transformed St. Ivalice into Ivalice, a magical realm where all wishes were granted. Mewt was prince of Ivalice, Ritz's hair was the color she always wanted it to be, Doned, who was originally bound by a wheelchair, could be free to run like all children, and Marche soon bound to the top of the ranks of the clans of Ivalice. However, Marche wanted to return home. No matter what, he wanted to see his mother again, he wanted to bring everything back to the way it was, a reality. Using the power of his clan, the "Nutsy" clan, he began to destroy the crystals that bound St. Ivalice to the fantasy realm of Ivalice. Everyone, from Doned to Ritz, attempted to stop him, but nothing could stop him from destroying all the crystals and rescuing Mewt, bringing everyone back home. However, there was still a bit of magic left in the Grand Grimoire, which let them return to the magical Ivalice, where Marche soon reached the title of "Clan Overlord". Fighting alongside Ritz, Montblanc, Babus, Shara, and Cid, his clan practically became the rulers of the realm. And then, everything stopped. Ritz suddenly did not return with him when he went back to St. Ivalice through the Grand Grimoire. He became scared, and wondered where she could have gone. Had the Grand Grimoire began its decent into oblivion? Did it lack the magical abilities to bring Ritz home? He worried much for his friend's safety, and refused to go back to Ivalice until she was found. He begged Mewt for an answer, as the boy knew more about the grimoire than he. Mewt finally found Ritz's location after using the grimoire to find her location, and handed the book onto Marche, "Bring her home, Marche!" was Mewt's last words as Marche clasped the book in his hands and begged it to bring him to Ritz... to her... He was showered in a bright light, and the next thing he knew, he was standing before a boarding house... --- Or something like that... There you are. Whee for giantly long histories. Anyway, here it is and all that jazz. |

Hmmm...seems good, but I'm gonna have to make it so his holy powers and blue magic don't work. If they do work, it's only just barely, like with Ritz's magic, because otherwise he'd be way overpowered. |

Hokies. Being a defender's fine with me. I was about to make him a Ninja class, but everyone else is using katanas anyway, so I figured not *laugh* Yeah, he'll rarely, if ever, use magic anyway (probably only with your okay), as Marche usually focuses on fighting and stuff. You know what? I feel like making bios for Karin's parents. Just because I can. Even though they won't be making much of an apperance (just when they drop her off and when she calls them/they call her). --- Name: Tyler (Ty) Mazataki Age: 47 Gender: Male Race/Species: Human (He's Italian/American, with some Japanese way back that doesn't show in his physical features, just his surname.) Distinguishing Marks: Always wearing a business suit, with his black hair combed back from his face, his eyes and smile easily seen. Anime/Manga/Whatever they're from: My mind Likes: Watching movies, the smell of a new leather briefcase, poking his daughter (annoying her is fun! ^^), Italian food Dislikes: Ignorance in the company, deals falling through, not being able to relax Fav. Saying: The eyes are the windows to our soul. Hobbies: Watching movies (Especially classics), running, swimming Physical Weaknesses: Prone to migranes. Most likely because of his high-stress job and demanding wife. Physical Strengths: Ran track and swam on his high school and college teams. Powers (if any): Negociation? He wears designer suits to work, with a silver watch Karin gave him for his birthday last December. Usually found with a leather briefcase, Tyler takes his papers to and from work in style. Hi shoes are usually black patent leather, but can sometimes be brown, depending on the suit. Ty is seen in baggy jeans and shirts on the weekend, watching movies and eating his home-made gelato. Personality: Always prepared with a smile, Tyler takes on the role his company has given him of chief marketer with his unique negociation skills. He believes firmly in the mantra "The eyes are the windows to our souls" and always looks people in the eye when speaking to them. Unlike his daughter, who avoids the connection by looking at the florr, the corner of the room, anywhere. It annoys him a bit, because she won't look at him when she asks him something and speaks quietly, making him ask for her to repeat it. He's laid back during deals, trying to think of his next move. He believes that his work is like a game of chess- he must estimate his opponents next move and find a way to beat it. Unfortunately, he doesn't like moving around that much either- but he has to go where the company goes. And they DO pay for his moving costs, so the perks outweigh the annoyance. History: At the age of 26, Tyler got a job at a high-ranking company as an assistant to the marketing department. after three months of grunt work, he was allowed to sit in on one of the meetings, as long as he didn't "interrupt." Well...that didn't last long. He jumped up at his superior's suggestion to move revenue out of one department to another, saying that it would be a stupid mistake and would ruin the company. Equaling it out would be the better desicion, not abandoning it completely. Furious, his superior stood to reprimand and fire him when the company manager held up his hand. "No- he's right. That would be the better desicion." Because of that one instance, Tyler's reputation grew quickly, as well as his salary. When he turned 28, he met Naomi at a company party. She was the niece of his boss, and was very sweet. They got married a year later, and had Karin the next. Tyler loves his daughter and worries about her constantly- the epitome of a doting father. When she said she was sick of moving, he reluctantly agreed to let her stay, but made her promise to call once every week. --- Name:Naomi Mazataki Age: 43 Gender: Female Race/Species:Human (American/English/Scottish) Distinguishing Marks: Always seen with a designer purse. Anime/Manga/Whatever they're from: My mind Likes: Designer items, manicures, "little doggies", keeping up with what the celebrities are doing, martini glasses (Anything she drinks, from alcohol to soda to water, goes in a martini glass) Dislikes: Doing anything resembling housework (that's what they're paying the maid for! And the cook!), working, physical activity Fav. Saying: Women need men to take care of them and earn the money. We shouldn't have to lift a finger, except when drinking tea! (Does anyone get that? XD) Hobbies: Lounging around, starting things but never finishing them (kick boxing classes, pottery class, piano lessons...) Physical Weaknesses: Muscle? Honey, other people can use that. All Naomi needs is a martini glass and her huby, and she's good. Physical Strengths: See above. Actually, I'm surprised she has enough strength to lift her drinking, considering how dependant she is. =/ Powers (if any): Whining. Her voice can go so high pitched that people will do ANYTHING to get her to be quiet. Weapon: Long nails HURT. Physical Description: (include eye & hair color, height, weight, clothing.) Naomi calls herself a "young woman." Standing at 5' 5", 123 pounds, she's not much of a threat- until you get on her bad side. Her hazel green eyes squint dangerously, and she taps a pointed heel on the ground menacingly. Her hair is an almond honey (blondish brown) due to coloring. It was originally brown. But that was too plain for her. As for clothing, Naomi goes for the "young, trendy" look, tending to wear the latest 18 year old fashions. She loves shoes, and splurges on clothing all the time. Good thing her husband brings home a hefty paycheck. When at home, she lounges in a silky robe and high heeled slippers. Whenever she goes out, she wears (and shops for) things that make her look young and sexy. Personality: Extremely dependant on her husband and daughter, whines when she doesn't get her way (she usually does), and needs to be around people. Clothing is her connection with the real world. Naomi has become increasingly interested in designing outfits- pant suits, dresses, lace, frills- not that she'd actually MAKE any of it herself. She wants Karin to get a wealthy husband, who can take care of both her and her daughter. The men are supposed to make all the money, right? History: Naomi has an obsession with material things, and makes a choice to possess them. She was raised to believe that, by showing off your wealth through the things you own, you will gain a higher postion in the world order. Well, her dad was a company big-wig. She met Tyler with the same mind set- he was handsome, gaining position in the company, and dressed like he owned the world. That, and he was HANDSOME. It didn't take long for him to woo her, and now they have a beautiful girl to push her dreams on- I mean, care for. Naomi really does care for Karin- she just lets her obsession for material things get in the way sometimes. When Karin said she didn't want to move, Naomi pouted and whined- but Karin wouldn't be swayed. Reluctanly, she agreed to let Karin stay at the Sakura No Yume. The name sounded DIVINE. Naomi looks foward to living in California- the sun, the beach, the boardwalk, the fashion- all the stars live there, so why shouldn't she? --- ...So there we have it. I was depressed, but now I feel better. ^^ This is more for my reference than anything- they're lesser charaters, but I just like giving (read: attemping to give) them life. I may change this, so don't worry about it. I just needed to post it now. ^^;; wheeeeeeee...XD |

Don't worry- I was thinking the same thing. ^^;; ooohhh...plot type things...such privileges for lesser characters! XD I was actually thinking his company could have something to do with Yumi and/or the government... So, should I work on Karin more? She's really...plain. But yeah, you can use her parents however you want. It's fine by me. ^^ |

Name: Genjo Sanzo (a title given to all monks holding sacred scriptures; his original chosen name was Kouryuu, which means 'river child' or something like it) Age: 23 Gender: Male Race/Species: Human Distinguishing Marks: Crimson chakra upon his brow, purple hawk-like eyes, Maten Scriptures around his shoulders. Anime/Manga/Whatever they're from: Gensoumaden Saiyuki Family: N/A; Sanzo was abandoned in a river at birth and found by a monastery. He considered his master his father, however. Likes: Smoking, drinking, swearing, card games. Dislikes: Noisy little brats, having to teach religion, idiots. Fav. Saying: "I'm going to kill you." Hobbies: Gambling, whacking his colleagues over the head with his fan, card games (especially Poker, Black Jack and Blind Hookey). Physical Weaknesses/Strengths: Sanzo is surprisingly fast, considering the long, heavy Maten Scripture he wears around his shoulders constantly. In battle, Sanzo will more than likely use his Banishing gun, which almost always instantly kills a target with one or two bullets, given his training and accuracy. He perceives his greatest weakness as being too human, thus the reason for his lack of many of his emotions. Powers (if any): N/A Weapon: Banishing gun, Maten Scripture (used to banish/kill demons) and paper fan. Physical Description: Blond, amethyst eyes, 5'10", 141 lbs, pale skin. Sanzo wears a non-sleeved black leather belted turtleneck-like shirt, black leather pants, elbow-length gloves which are held on his arms at the middle finger on both hands, and black ankle-length boots. Holds a Maten Scripture around his shoulders constantly like a vest. Is sometimes seen with a waist-length black leather jacket also. Personality: Genjo Sanzo is an unorthodox and irreverent former-priest who smokes, drinks and gambles. He's self-centered, haughty and not entirely sane. If Sanzo needs to tell someone something important, he'll do it in a roundabout way by pretending he doesn't care about their predicament at all. History: Sanzo was found in a river as a baby by a Buddhist monastery and taken in under the wing of the previous Genjo Sanzo - his master (Genjo Sanzo being the title taken by all priests who carry the holy scriptures). Originally given the name Kouryuu (meaning 'river child' or something of the sort), Sanzo grew up being talked about behind his back and not trusting anyone except for his master. As a teenager, Sanzo finally got tired of temple life (especially after his master was murdered supposedly in cold blood) and moved into the city, seeing how many of the monks at said monastery were against his adoption into the temple in the first place. It was there that he met his gambling partner Sha Gojyo. The two have since parted ways due to unforeseen circumstances. Sanzo applied for a teacher job at Yume High after turning 23, and succeeded. Much to his dislike, he was dragged into teaching Religion to the senior students, and much to the dislike of the other teachers, he smokes in the school. He ended up becoming a freelance demon ('demon' is the word priests use for the Angels/experiments) killer for the money earlier on in his city life, and retains this as a job to the side. Writing Sample: Genjo Sanzo lit the cigarette between his lips and sighed, pocketing his lighter and taking a drag of the cancer-inducing smoke. "Goddamn I needed this." The blonde ran a hand through his hair, flipping his left wrist over to check his watch - his 11 pm appointment was late in arriving... There he was. Squinting his eyes in the dim neon city lights, Sanzo could make out the distinguishing demonic features - pointed ears, semi-long fangs hidden behind a snarl. This one was wanted for raping the wife and daughter of a government official before killing them and eating their flesh. Sanzo smirked; at least the pay would be high. |
