"Actually," said Duo, "the virus' weaker incarnations should be wiped out by the anti-virus sofrware I grabed. The originals are tougher, so it can't just obliterate them without having a more detailed understanding of how it works. As it is this program was just adapted from a previous virus that was similar in many ways. It should keep weaker forms of the virus away... at least until the virus evolves beyond what it was designed to handle, anyway. Even then it should allow us to damage the weaker forms, in theory. Depends on how powerful the original copy becomes." |

OOC: Sorry I havent had much time to post lately. Hopefully I will have more time soon since the last couple of weeks in my english class sound really easy. anyway back to the story. suddenly all the stars started to dissapear and then RedPirate started acting weird. Anne was confused and didn't know what to do as she watrched RedPirate and Saiyako battle. She final decided to run back to the house to get her poke stick so she would be ready to help. As she ran to the house she passed the other forum members who were running in the oposite direction. Anne finaly reached the house and kicked off her shoes as quickly as possible. She dashed up the stairs and to her room. she serched franticaly for her wepon but couldnt see it anywhere. she looked under the bed and then next to the dreser. she cheaked behind the door and even under the covers of her bed. Finaly finding her room void of poke sticks she ran back downstairs to check the kitchen and living room. Getting frustrated Anne started to mumble to herself "Where the hell did I put it. I mean its not like I have even been here this long and im already loosing stuff. How could I have lost the freeking thing already!" Suddenly there was a flash of green light and an eplosion that knoked her off her feet. There was a hole in the wall right next to her and she though she had seen a person flying. debris was everywhere. And there it sticking out from under a pile of broken wood. Anne grabed the stick, found her shoes, which where now dusty, shoved them back on her feet and ran out the door as she got closer to the place where Kanthia had first discovered the strange flower she saw a strange figure enter a tree. Suddenly Duo and Digi where running at it with glowing wepons. the tree fell to the ground and she saw something come out of it and disapear but not before a threat of coming back. Anne listenet to what everyone was saying and started to piece things together. "So wait. that thing was a virus posesing us and things and it could come back at any moment and take over any of us? kay thats really creepy." After looking around she added, " Saiyako you really don't look too good. Mabey we should head back to the house, or whats left of it, and figure stuff out there. I don't think the virus thing will be back right away and there is no need for us to be standing out here just waiting for it to come back. Plus we could update all the antivirus stuff and fix the house whille we come up with a plan." |

Duo stared at Saiyako's open-armed form for a sec, before nodding. Raising Shingetsuitou high over his head, he called out "Just kidding!" and slammed his left hand into Saiyako's face, two pale, translucent forms flying from the body as it collapsed to the ground, one trailing the chain of fate back to its real body. Twirling Shingetsuitou over his head then readying it into a fighting stance, Duo confronted the other being, the copy of the virus. "Okay, listen you," he said. "I've had a REAL lousy couple of days... mostly because I was in a coma, but you're not especially helping matters. It's also not helping that my spirit companion here is badgering me that he's had very little to cut lately. So, your options are this: You can let me dice you up 5 or 6 ways, or you can try to fight back, and maybe I only get to cut you up 3 or 4 ways. Which sounds better to you?" |

The virus drew back, keeping its gaze on Duo. "Kill me, then, if you can, but it won't do you any good. We know your weaknesses now." It glanced at Saiyako on the ground, its lips turning up in a smirk. "We know your strengths, and how to turn them against you. And when we come back, our numbers will be unlimited. Now..." It paused, as if running through lines in its head, and gave a satisfied shrug, the grin widening. "See ya!" And it turned and ran for the woods, seeking the nearest server interface. OOC: That last line is kinda awkward, but I wanted to give Duo the option of cutting it down before it can escape (and being a copy, it probably can't just log out). |

Twirling Shingetsuitou, he cast one of Shingetsuitou's blades at the virus, the chain that linked it back to the staff portion of the double-bladed scythe sliding out smoothly and gleaming in the sun. The blade ripped into the virus' legs, slicing through them in a burst of yellow energy. "Quick!" he called to the others. "Stab it with one of the wrenches! It'll paralyze it!" Right.... well, I'm not sure if English is your first language or not, but either way yours could use some work. Particularly your use of verb tenses. More importantly, I'm not really sure what this has to do with anything... at all... see, usually an introduction post puts you somewhere in the vicinity of where the other characters are. You aren't even in the right world yet. If you wanted to include something like this as part of a larger post, it works a bit better, but in the end, this is really irrelevant. Aaaand.... I'm in a GM mood today, so I'm thinking I may start monitering posts around here to a greater degree... To continue with things that need to be fixed... Writing like a script, where you put someone's name and then what they say, is not allowed in a role play. A role play post should include some description of some kind. If this is an inhibition due to English not being your first language (an introduction thread would be good to clear stuff like that up, by the way), then I'm sorry, but trying to play in a role play in a language you're not proficient in is probably a mistake in the first place, so the rules still apply. Um... also, when writing normally, transitional phrases like "A few hours later" are put at the beginning of a paragraph, not by themselves. Also, I'm assuming you're going for 'minutes,' not hours, because most people don't allow hours to pass between 'I'm hungry,' and going to go get food. Smilies are NOT to be used in conjunction with RPing, use words to describe things, not pictures. Please, include a bit more detail in your posts. Or at least, some level of detail, at least a bit more description is going to be necessary for this RP to really work well, so we don't get confused by one another. And.... if you can't... then I don't think the RP is going to work out well for you anyway. So, everyone else should probably disregard this, although it doesn't effect anyone else anyway, so it doesn't really matter. That post aside, J.A. Lover, bit more information on where you are, please. If you want to be near where the rest of the gang is, or near the house or something give us a bit of description to help us know if we're to run into you. Typically a post should run until someone else has to react, unless it's getting to be really long. So if you're still off by yourself, you need to add until you're in the general area where everyone else is, and if you are already there, then you need to describe your surroundings enough so we know where in the vicinity you are. If I missed anything, Digi will get it... |
