OOC: More like you were ignoring OverChasm and how he just blew a hole though the wall. *sweatdrops* Kanthia was caught under the rubble, you can't really glare at her posessed-ness and give her pep talk. AFTER Kanthia posted was probably a btter time to post the inspirational "FIGHT IT!" speech. |

From out of nowhere, heavy metal music started playing. As the smoke cleared, a lone figure became visible standing atop the roof of the old, Japanese-styled house, his dark robe-like clothes billowing in the wind that had picked up for affect. Double-checking to make sure the mini boom box was in place and playing loudly enough, Duo called aloud "Okay, virus or whatever the Hell you are! This is MY forum! If anyone's going to use mind control on these guys, it's gonna be ME!" With that, he pulled on a black, fingerless glove with a skull wreathed in flame on its backside and palm. Leaping from the roof in a movement too fast for the eye to follow, Duo practically flew to where Kanthia, or more accurately, Kanthia's semi-possesed body, knelt, and struck her across the face with the glove. Blue lighting crackled through the air, and her body fell limp, as two semi-transparent forms flew from it. One of them was a mirror image of the body now lying on the ground, a chain running from the center of her chest back into her physical body. "Sorry for that, Kanthia," said Duo, drawing his blade. "But this makes things easier to handle." The blade glowed with golden light, hilt and blade extending outward and reshaping into a pole, two long, curved blades emerging from it at the end. Twirling the blade above his head then readying it into a battle stance, Duo faced the second form. OOC: To clarify, the glove's an actual item from Bleach, and it separates the soul from the body. The chain is called "the chain of fate," or something of that nature in Japanese, and as long as it remains connected to the body, the person is still technically alive and can be put back into their body. Since I've never seen it done on a possessed person in the series, I can only assume that the glove expells both the person's spirit and whatever's possessing one. There must be SOME reason why Rukia had it with her... though she could have bought it from Urahara with the Gigai I suppose... |

Digi blinked, looking faintly surprised. Then she shook her head, grinning, and reached down to pull her sword from the rubble. After doing this the blonde stepped out onto the lawn, swinging her weapon. She wasn’t worried anymore. This had simplified things, and that hopefully meant they could get this mess over with. …of course, it would have helped if Duo had shown up sooner. “About time you showed up. What WERE you doing!?” The blonde demanded, looking a bit annoyed as she stopped next to the admin, glaring at him. |

"Hey!" replied Duo. "I thought I was being relatively quick, considering that I had to find the mini boom box, the heavy metal CD, rig up the giant fan on the other side of the roof, arrange it to work by remote control, and still keep track of what everyone else was doing. Oh, and the giant explosion set things back a bit... Not to mention how hard it was to remember where the stupid glove was. Turns out it was in my pocket," he paused, gesturing to pocket-thing on the inside of his shirt. "I'm never going to get used to storing things there, I tell you..." OOC: If someone else wants to they can invent a description for the virus... Digi and I don't really have much of an idea at the moment... |

Digi’s eye visibly twitched. “You mean to tell me while we were all sitting here dealing with our nakama getting possessed, fighting each other, and all this drama, you were off trying to rig up a dramatic entrance!?” She cried. The blonde glared at Duo for a few moments before shaking her head, trying to keep herself from laughing and to look mad. “Idiot. Remind me to hurt you later.” She said, sliding into her own fighting stance and fixing her gaze on the second form that had been split from Kanthia’s body. |

Kanthia forgot to scroll up. *Punches mouse* Gomen gomen gomen, Tokubi-san...Kanthia is a bad scroller-upper. e-e;;;; -- "Are you so insensitive that you will hurt a human friend of yours to meet your ends?" It pointed to the chain. "The explosion had affected half of her corporeal body; when in her physical form, I may have lost if she had the will to stop me. So thank you, Duo- you may find I'm harder to deal with than that. For starters, a virus never stays in one place for long." It shifted into a gaseous blue blob that faded into near-invisibilty. "Secondly, nobody can see a virus coming." The semi-transparent form launched towards Tokubi, screeching through memory and time. "I can take any body I wish! Gomen nasai for godmoding, Digitaldreamer-sama T-T. The remote control is normally supposed to appear only when I read too much Bo-7, but Kanthia-san was posessed! How can you expect me to be normal when something like that happens? |

As the virus flew towards Tokubi, Duo began to laugh to himself. "Please," he said in reponse to the virus' threats, "you honestly think that's the first time I've heard THAT line? Guess I neglected to mention, I had to transfer some information over to some contacts before coming out here, whoops." Duo swiftly drew out a small, yellow wrench from his shirt pocket. The wrench exploded with beams of light, which wrapped themselves around Shingetsuitou's steel form. When the light fadded an instant later, Shingetsuitou's blades had a yellowish tint to them, and glowed softly in the darkness. "Here," he said, gesturing in Digi's direction with the wrench. A second identical yellow wrench separated itself from the first, flying through the air at the other forum member. "Wouldn't want to forget this, right? As I was saying, with every geek in the universe already here, you'd be amazed at the sheer number of anti-virus specialist task forces, not to mention the speed at which they can react." OOC: I think the wrench is norton, anyway... To clarify: Since Norton is an antivirus program, I figure it imbues weapons with the ability to strike down viruses, and probably also gives them the ability to clense them from a system, or a person in this case. As interesting as having people turn on each other is, I think it might be a good idea to skip ahead to fighting the virus itself... Or to get to that point in the near future, anyway. Especially given the huge amount of sappy inspirational speeches we have to deal with otherwise. :rolleyes: Oh, and Overchasm, I understand your point, but if Kanthia WROTE it, there's no real need... |

Digi grinned, catching the wrench. “Ah. Well I suppose if you were off getting these then I’ll have to withdraw my death threat for now.” She said, holding out the wrench and watching as light exploded from it and wrapped around her weapon. Once this finished the blonde’s grin widened and she waved the sword, watching the glowing trail it left behind it. “It’s like a gigantic, sharp, pointy, virus-killing glowstick.” She said cheerfully, holding out the wrench. “If anyone else wants to help, now would be the time to get your hands on the glowyness.” She declared. |

OOC: Nah, this sword is like...HUGE. Like Cloud Strife's Buster Sword...and it really makes no sense as to why I could use it, given how it probably weighs more than I do. X3 But the image of small cute thing with bigass weapon is pretty cool. Digi nodded, tossing the wrench to Miss Demeanor. “Alright, let’s get this show on the road then.” She said, pulling a slip of paper out from a strap beneath her skirt, along with a small paintbrush. She quickly drew a chibi picture of a random bishie beating up something that was probably a virus, then held the slip of paper between her index and middle fingers and began to chant. Supposedly the piece of paper was supposed to act like the charms monks and shrine maidens used, and Digi was now using it to cast a spell. “Hopefully this’ll work…Art of the GM: UNSCREEN!” She called out. --- You know how like on LiveJournal or in a forum posts can be made so only certain members can see it? Unscreening is where you set the post so everyone can see it. Baiscally, if it works, it should make the virus take a physical form without possessing anyone. |

"Oh Digi-san! I--" Chasm shook his deleria off. He actually thought he had flown through a dozen buildings. But anyway, thanks to Duo-san, not only did the virus leave Kanthia-san's body, but it was in its own form now. He walked up to Digitaldreamer-san, taking his staff out. "I'm going to fight, Digitaldreamer-sama. Whoever possesses Kanthia-san shall pay. Oh, and there's also one 'financial' worry, but we'll discuss it after this." He glanced at his remote with the receipt sticking out as he added the last sentence. Edit: Agh, I posted late. Assume I appear after the virus responds. |

Psh. "I'd like to see you try. You may be able to attack something singular even though you cannot see it, but what happens when nature itself rears its ugly head?" It turned sharply... "Infection, Take Seventeen! Boundless Nature!" ...And dove into a nearby tree. The tree shivered, shook and uprooted. It was an ancient Willow, ten feet tall and rather solid. A gaping hole tore; the virus spoke out of it. "Now, if you'll just hand over that remote and your anti-virus program, I'll leave with the least amount of damage. Come, you don't want me to hurt you, do you? Rest assured, wood...quite painful when properly administered." -- ~Kanthia |

“Oh, boo hoo. You’re possessing trees now. I’m terrified, really.” Digi snorted, blowing strands of blonde from her eyes. “I think we’ll be keeping both. Now…get out of my forum!” With that she charged towards the tree, swinging her blade with all of her strength at it’s weathered trunk. |
