Date: Autumn 14, 12 Time: 6:32 Tag: The Golden Jester, Red Robin Wearing: This “Oh!” Pink said as she spun around nearly bumping into someone with a tray of drinks and generally causing more chaos in her wake. She smiled at the new man innocently. “Sorry to you too. My dad always says that I’m the one person he knows who can destroy an engine by standing still. I guess I just wasn't watching where I was going.” She chuckled suddenly feeling a little nervous and out of place with all the problems she was causing and then extended a hand first to the Jester and the new arrival. “I’m…uh Pink Princess.” She said happily and judging by her dress and accessories it was clear to see that while she may have possessed all the grace of a dead fish she was not, at least, colorblind. Whether that was good or bad was up to her company to decide but for the most part it didn’t look as if the girl would have particularly cared one way or the other. She seemed to have a certain indomitable cheeriness about her that would not be diminished whatever others thought of her. Pink carried on the smudge on her dress, for the moment at least, forgotten and nodded to the two gentlemen. “I didn’t cause you two too much trouble did I? Nothing wrong with a few bumps and scraps if you ask me. Still, maybe there’s something I can do to make it up to you.” She didn’t know what she could possibly have that the two might want but maybe she could fix their fridge, or their sink or something like that. Those were the things she was good at. |

|| Autumn 14th || Time: 6:52pm || Outfit || Tag: The Black Jackal || He had lost her without actually finding her. Usually he was rather excellent at sniffing out his prey, stressing them out to no end in his hunt and driving them near insane. Only then he'd strike, end it right there and then, and by that tune, they were begging for it, just wanting to end- No. He didn't do that anymore. That part of his life is over. Didn't mean he wasn't any less displeased about not finding some squirrely woman in a mask. Perhaps he was still just tired...recovering, yes that was it. He did have a long, long trip getting back here. And he had barely slept since he woke up this morning on that ferry back to Abyssinian. Yes, he was tired thus not totally in his game. Obviously. But Great Divines help him if he didn't find who he was looking for soon. Thank the Divines he had a mask, for he wore another one underneath it, a mask of utter frustration. This was beginning to become pointless to him, he should have just grew some balls and met her at her domain, not trying to look for her in a crowd of sheep. Stupid, annoying sheep- He froze up as something ran into his back. His hands curled into fists, and a mad snarl took up a place across his face. If he did not have that mask he would look more like a bull about to charge, about to pin down that obnoxious man in red and show him not to anger such a beast. But when he heard that voice speak up, his fists uncurled, and he slowly turned around to see who it was. That mask, oh that mask, how laughable. And indeed he did laugh, a stupid, soft chuckle that escaped his lips. How obvious could she be? He felt so ridiculous now, he should have been looking for this one mask all along. A jackal, how fitting. "I think I am the one that owes you the apology, my dear sticky fingers" |

Though, to be honest she didn't really know what to expect when they finally found one another. Which, there was no mistaking it to be him. A golden fox mask? He couldn't get any more obvious then she could. But, to think she had to bump into him to even find him at all. Some hunter she was. Sticky fingers. Why did he have to allude to her secret hobby in public? There could be anyone in here, even the police. Already they were starting to catch on her. Eventually she'd have to take her thieving to the main land in order to avoid capture or gain any more attention. Black Jackal was pretty sure they didn't cut of thief’s hands here, however, it would be best to stay out of jail. But, apologize to her? For what? The Spring Fling? “I don't think that's necessary,” She said simply enough. What happened, happened. There was no changing it. It wasn't like she was ever mad him. Confused, yes, a little hurt? Maybe. In the end it didn't matter. “You really came back...” Even with Fox Sr. promise, she couldn't truly believe it. But the old fox kept his words. Though, she had to ask herself: “what now?”. She was never good at thinking ahead. If she could even get to the river she was happy, but how to cross it? Not a clue, at least, not until she got there. Date: Autumn 14 Time: 7:00 Tag: Southern Rose Wearing: this Pauper was not interested in dancing. While yes, one could argue that going to a party and not dance kinda defeated the purpose of going, but what she liked to see were the sights, sounds, and yes, even the food. Parties had more to them than dancing, even if they were small things. And there were never any parties like this back home. Most the people who lived in her hometown were older or simply kept to themselves. Not even on her birthday did she have a party, at least, when she was older, which she didn't mind to much. Though, she didn't expect to be grabbed by the hand and pleaded with to dance. "No thank you," She answered politely. This girl didn't seem like the type to give up easily, though. She was so bubbly and up-beat., not someone Pauper was used to interacting with. Back home there was only one other teen her age. He was a very quiet boy, and kept to himself like everyone other back home. Now there were a lot of kids her age. All with different personalities and relationships with on another. Then there was her, the new girl. Even outside the Masquerade she was still a fish out of water. |

❀✿❁❀✿❁❀✿❁❀✿❁ ❈Date: Autumn 14❈Time: 7:20❈Tag: Pauper!❈Outfit❈ Southern Rose frowned. There wasn't going to be any party poopers at this party. Not on her watch! Along with the frown came a pair of chocolate masked puppy dog eyes. "Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease please please please please please please please please pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!??!!" Southern Rose begged once more.<p> "I'll even dance with you so you don't feel silly!! Come on!! You have to... It's required in the unwritten Obsidian Party Handbook!" Southern Rose continued. Of course, some people would call what she just did lying. Southern Rose? No. She was simply trying to persuade someone in a creative way! And gosh darn it! She was going to try anything to get this little wallflower off of her tushie and shake it instead of sit on it! ❀✿❁❀✿❁❀✿❁❀✿❁ |

Date: Autumn 14 Time: 7:00 Tag: Southern Rose Wearing: this Not the begging, Pauper thought. When people begged, she didn't know how to say no to them. Maybe one dance wouldn't hurt. This girl really wanted to dance and it would be rude to turn her down now. Perhaps she could, just this once, dance at a party. “. . .Alright. . .” She said simply enough. Hopefully that one world would be enough to tell the girl in pink that she agreed to dance. Not many people She stood up and waited for the girl to lead the way to the dance floor, not sure how she was going to go about this whole “dancing” thing. She could follow this girl's lead, and do whatever dance she does. |

|| Autumn 14th || Time: 6:52pm || Outfit || Tag: The Black Jackal || Maybe not to her, but it was to him. He had been told to apologize, he was simply following orders here. But yes, he did. He had not planned to but given the circumstances as of late...there was no where else for him to be. He, all by himself, had effectively ruined all chances of actually managing a proper life back where he was. "So I did. Didn't have much of a choice, a crazy old man made me" he chuckled. "But good to see you again. Didn't miss me too much did you?" he purred at her, a familiar smirk tugging at his mouth. He hadn't been lying before when he once told this woman he liked hanging around her, she was amusing. |

It wasn't loud, rather quiet really, but it was something. She even smiled a little. “Maybe a little,” she answered. Maybe a lot, but she couldn't just admit that. Though, she would always miss that silky smooth voice of his. Hell, even the smirk was nice to see again. Or maybe she missed him more than a lot. Now that he was standing here before her, she realized there was a lot about him to miss. Damn she's been lonely. Drinking wasn't enough to get her through her troubled times anymore. As of late it's only made things worse. She'd drink to the bottom of several bottles and find herself looking back at herself with misery and disgust. She needed company, but who wanted to spend time with an awful person like her? “Did you. . .miss me too?” She asked as her face heated up. She was very thankful for the mask now. || Autumn 14th || Time: 6:52pm || Outfit || Tag: The Black Jackal || He had missed a lot of things. Missed a comfortable bed to sleep on, missed regular inn meals, missed a solid roof over his head. Missed the library he spent most of his time in. Missed the beach of emerald water that he had loved to walk along. Missed the wilderness of this island. Just did a lot of missing about this place. His former home did not even compare. But he did miss the jackal as well. "I missed sneaking up on you, that's for sure" he teased. "But I missed how silly and time wasting your company was. Gave me something else to focus on than the task at hand" And why wouldn't she? She was a source of amusement, of silliness and ridiculousness. She was too much fun to not miss. It's why he liked her and bothered with her whenever she caught his eye out on the streets. |

However, it was an accident that he didn't know about. Though, sneaking up on her was going to be harder this time around since she's been honing her skills and keeping them sharp. Still, it felt nice to be missed, even if it were for the strangest things. If being a distraction meant company for her then she'd gladly accept the role. Anything was better than being alone. Once, or twice, death was more welcome than the solitude she was forced into. Was he really going to stay? Or, would he grow tired of her, or the island and leave? She didn't want to think about such things. What she wanted was to be happy, even if it was for a single night. Maybe she can't have the long-lasting happiness that she's wanted, but maybe she could live going from one small source of happiness to another. “You look good,” She said. Really, really good, but she wasn't going to feed that ego of his. He looked good dressed up, while she probably looked weird in the dress. It was more familiar (and longer) than the last one she wore which was the dress's only saving grace. Then there was her long hair. Why she hadn't cut it by now was a mystery even to her. Really, it was just a pain with the way it got tangled up and such. ♬ ♫ ♪ ♩ ♭ ♬ ♫ ♪ ♩ ♭ ♬ ♫ ♪ ♩ ♭ ♬ ♫ ♪ ♩ ♭ |
