In the front garden of the Estate, "reindeer" roam for youngsters to enjoy. While they look suspiciously similar to horses... they have antlers! Although they seem a bit flimsy and light, well that... That is the magic of Christmas. Regardless of whether or not they are real, there are 5 available for people to ride around the gardens two times a go. One of the Estate workers - dressed appropriately in red and green, with bells, elf ears and a hat to match - handles this, and simply needs to be approached if interested. Sleigh rides may be taken, too, a sleek black sleigh is parked in front of the estate ready to carry you wherever you wish. <br><br> Inside, one is met immediately with the sight of a tall, healthy Christmas tree with nothing but a string of golden lights and a shining star on top of it. It is very high and very thick, almost reaching the ceiling and almost dominating the room. Upon further exploration, on the counter behind it, one can find a wide array of decorations. Anyone and everyone is welcome to decorate the tree as they wish, hanging up all the ornaments they so desire. Another elf attendant stands nearby with a ladder, for those who wish to hang things towards the top. <br><br> In the next room, one can find a long buffet table covered with food, as usual. All of the holiday staples are there: fruitcake, eggnog, apple cider, candy canes and a huge gingerbread house modelled after the Estate as the edible centerpiece. Of course there are also a variety of meats, pies, salads, pastas, soups and beverages ready to be consumed at any time. At one end one can find the plates, cutlery, napkins and cups; the tables on which to eat (each decorated with Christmas tableclothes and candy cane center pieces) are available all throughout the room. As there often is, half of the room as been cleared off and a small band is set up. People are welcome to dance and request songs as they desire. It should be noted though that there are a total of 8 boughs of mistletoe hanging from the ceiling in random places, some over the tables, some by the buffet spread, and some over the dance floor... <br><Br> The final feature at the festival that shouldn't be missed is 'Santa Claus'. Similarly to the "reindeer", Saint Nick looks suspiciously like a familiar figure around the town. But, the real thing or not, his gifts are not to be missed. The short, bearded man in red can be seen walking about with a large sack in hand, giving out nicely wrapped, identically sized boxes. Inside one can find an amount of money between 100-400 G, a candy cane or chocolate, and either a Santa hat, an antler headband or an elf hat. They maybe not the most spectacular items, but they are nice as little momentos from the evening. <br> <br>---------------------------- <br>Note: Remember to tag everyone you're RPing with at the beginning of your post! </td> </tr> </table> [/doHTML] |

![]() Divine, Eberhardt, and Lyzander Fandell Outfits Winter 25th, Year 08 1:30 PM Tag(s): Open! ----------------------------- 'Tis their first Christmas in their new home. The first Christmas not spent at some hotel, or in a plane, or out on the open road. No, their room was just down the street, and now they were at a fancy party for the holidays. The elder two Fandells were just happy to see their little sister's shining face. When they had entered the estate, Eberhardt's face lit up like the lights scattered around the hall. She had oohed at the reindeer, ahed at the giant tree, and ooh lalaed at the whole place it self. Like a kid in a candy store. Before they knew it though, she had disappeared from their sides probably off to see exactly what was in store for them. Whatever made her happy. "Look at her," Divine murmured to her brother. "When was the last time she was this happy?". "Forever ago" Lyzander replied, completely sober for once. There was no way in hell he was going to be drunk on this day. Not at the expense of his sister's happiness. The Fandells hadn't had a real Christmas in years, not since they left their uptight grandparents. Somehow they always managed, always did something special. But it was mostly for Eberhdart's benefit. Seeing the face she had now was totally worth it. "So....think they get any whiskey around?". Divine punched him in the stomach, causing the tall man to crumple a bit. "Ow! I was just kidding!" Or was he? Divine couldn't tell with him anymore. Just having him sober was a freaking miracle. "Why don't you drink something normal for once, like eggnog or cider?" she asked, crossing her arms. "Cause, normal is overrated" he smiled, winking. Yeah, that's it. Totally, man. Eberhardt, separated from her siblings, was giving the estate another go around. Now was the perfect time to full explore the place, without the distraction of men in bird masks, and dudes dressed like Batman! Would she ever see Malik again? Maybe he would come today. She kinda wanted to see him again. It has been a whole season since the Masquerade. Since then, she hadn't really seen any familiar faces. Oh poop. But hey, this was always a good time to find more sidekicks! Make way for the triumphant return of Captain Kadoodle! There was so much to do, would she have time to see it all before the night was over? Of course she did! Faster than speeding light, the youngest Fandell took off again, ready to party until the cows came home. And who knew how long that would be! Where was the food, by chance? She wanted to know where to get some in case Big Brother got some alcohol cravings. Had to fill his stomach with something else besides that! And if they had wine.....well she could anyways tip them off about her brother. No more drunken Christmases! |

People say you've been talking, you got a big mouth. Saying words you know aren't true, what the hell are you talking about? So now we have a conundrum, and the problem is clearly you. This is the part where it gets ugly, and the solution getting rid of you. You'll never be safe in the shadows, I'll be waiting in the dark. With a shovel and a bag full of lime, and I'll say the devil made me do it. | |

Winter 25, Yr 06 Time: 1:40 pm Mood: Lively Wearing: {X} Tags: open A breeze played on her soft pink curls. Thankfully, they were placed up in an elegant up-do. She usually let it down unless there was a special occasion. She had been so excited about the Christmas party since she had moved. It was supposed to be a very stunning event. Guests were even required to bring a decoration for the tree. She rubbed a finger over the sparkling pink ornament in her hand. She figured she would be the only one to bring a pink one. It fit her individuality. She wondered what type of people would show up to this party. She really wanted to show off her new dress she had just made. She hoped that people would like it and would be interested in her shop(once she opened it). Her heels clicked on the ground in a soft beat. She was so ready for this. She could already taste the champagne and smell the Christmas in the air. Soon, she would meet extraordinary people with things to tell her about themselves. Maybe she would meet a handsome stranger. Her hand grasped the doorknob. As soon as the door opened she felt a rush of warmth. Everything inside seemed to be glowing with an inner joy. She loved it. From afar she noticed a group of people. They were all sort of interesting looking. She liked interesting. She clicked her heels over to them. "Merry Christmas!" She said with a big smile. |
