"Ah no." He said softly before smiling. "Thought I do need to find a place to stay. And get a job as well. Need to make a living after all." He chuckled to her. "Why. Is the inn a nice place to stay or no?' He asked curiously. He should research after all the different places they had to stay around the island and choose the best place out of the bunch for his life style. Sure a simple room would be nice but before too long he would feel the need to clutter up his living space with all different instruments. The man was almost obsessed with music after all.
<br><br>
"So I take it you live at the inn then?" He inquired, taking a sip of the soup he ordered. He sighed some, smiling. "It's good. I haven't had soup in a long time." He took a few more spoonfuls, looking up to the woman. "You said you were the school teacher correct? Where is the local school anyway? Out of curiousity."

"Oh, the inn here is wonderful. I'm living there at the moment with a friend of mine." she said. Though she wouldn't give the exact address. she didn't want ot end up stalked. not tat she didn't not trust the guy but she wasn't sure if he was some psycho maniac or not. you could never be too careful after all.

"I hear there are a couple of positions open. There might be one down at the bar.." she said trying to help him out. "Oh, the school is by the streets of Obisidian near the park. It's a small schoolhouse but I manage. Most of the kids are very well behaved." she explained.

"Soup is always a good food to eat. I get the clam chowder every time I come here." she said with her pretty smile.

The inn is wonderful? Might be worth checking out then. He adjusted his glasses, the light blocking out his eyes gently which gave him a very mysterious look. Virgil didn't seem like a psycho maniac but he did indeed have his own fair share of secrets. Secrets that hardly anyone knew. But Virgil seemed to be a normal person though. Or he just hid who he truly was really well.
<br><br>
"Open position at the bar? Well perhaps they could use a piano player for entertainment." He said, thinking to himself as he rubbed one gloved thumb over the opposite hand."Thank you for the information." He said to her softly, looking at her, though his eyes were still blocked by the light. "Interesting. I might give the school a look. It's never too old to learn. Or in some cases relearn what your mind has chosen to forget." He said, with a low toned chuckle to her.
<br><br>
"Clam chowder you say? Had it a few times. Once or twice. Never seemed to grow on me." He admitted, finishing off the soup he did have infront of him. With a napkin he wiped his lips, looking back up to her. As she smiled the light faded from his lenses, revealing his eyes once more.

Rosalina looked up and her face completely lit up at the mention of piano playing. "Y...You play piano?" she asked. Rosalina adored classical music...even though she can't play any instruments...that just made her so excited. "That's so lovely~ What kind of songs can you play?" she asked with a curious smile on her face.

She loved the piano music her dad used to play..and even some of the church songs she could only sing if she had piano music.

"Piano and Violin. Classical music fan." He said, smiling to her. She became much more cheerful suddenly when he mentioned he could paino. "Well I can play all types of songs when I put my mind to it. I'll play the happy beats when I'm feeling down or at a party. And the romantic beats for dances and such. The sad songs I'll play just at random. Whenever the mood strikes me you know." He said, smiling softly to her.
<br><br>
"I actually don't mind playing. And playing for people actually kind of relaxes me. So perhaps when I'm next around a piano you can hear it." He smiled softly to her, checking the time. "Hmm It's 3:55. Thought it was later. He chuckled softly, closing the pocketwatch slowly.

Rosalina smiled. "Oh, that's wonderful! do you know any church songs?" she asked curiously. "The violin has a lovely sound. But the piano is my favorite instrument, even though I can't play it~" she said rubbing her neck. "Clam chowder was always my favorite thing to eat here. Mainly because I'm a bit picky." she said giggling.

"But everything I eat goes right to my hips." she joked, laughing,

"Ah...." His face darkened a bit when she mentioned church, him adjusting his glasses a little. "....I do not know church songs. I used to but....I stopped going to church after a while." He coughed up a little, looking to her now. "Interest lost, things changed, life's usual hands at work." He spoke softly. He blinked before chuckling softly, looking to her. "I doubt those hips of yours are from food." He said, implying something entirely different of course.
<br><br>
"I still can't believe someone of your bodily form is a teacher. You seem far too pretty to be one." He said, adjusting his eyes so they were looking outside. "But don't judge a book by it's cover, correct?"

Rosalina bit her lip not wanting to say anything about the church comment. She hated people like that...but hate was a rude and strong word so she held her tongue. "Oh...that's too bad." she said with a delicate smile before going completely red. She looked away and her voice completely drained. "Um..." she thought trying to think of a response.

"Th..Thank you. I get that a..alot." she said blushing and fiddling with her hair.

He nodded softly, looking back to her from the corner of his eyes. "What made you want to become a school teacher then? Liked teaching others? Especially kids?" He asked her, blinking curiously. She seemed to go rather quiet when he mentioned he didn't go to church. It didn't bother him. He wasn't the type. Life changed far too much and he refused to accept his life could be control by some otherwordly being or the thing known as Fate.
<br><br>
Fate was often too cruel. And he refused to let it lead his life. Whether or not he was succeding was another question entirely.

Rosalina looked up at Virgil with a smile. "hnestly...I've always liked helping people, and I saw teaching as a chance to grab that oppritunity to help someone in need." she explained. "I originally was going to be a Sunday school teacher but ended up being a high school teacher." she continued before finishing off her drink.

She then began to wonder how all of her old students were doing....were they ok? Were they successful?

"I see. Interesting." He said simply, smiling to her before adjusting his glasses. "I was home schooled for a few years of my life. When I was a child." He spoke softly, popping his knuckles. "It's good you like to help people. That's always a good thing to do. You seem like quite the nice woman." He spoke to her, smiling. "Beautiful both on the outside and inside. Personality wise." He said, clarifying what he was meaning, so he didn't think he was implying something perverted.

Rosalina couldn't help but let a small smile slip at his comment. "Th..Thank you." she said, thankfu. "And you seem like a very kind man." she returned his compliment. While she hadn't known him for very long, she still felt he had something good in him. As she did with everybody.

It always felt good to have someone compliment you. Especially if your insecurities were as numerous as Rosalina's.

"Thank you." He spoke, smiling to her. "I do my best to be kind. No point in being mean. You make enemies that way." He said, looking to her. He did seem like a good person but even so good people could hide the darkest secrets. The brightest light does cast the darkest shadow. He removed his glasses and cleaned them some, looking to her as he did so.

Rosalina smiled sweetly as she had been doing. "Oh, but of course. And no one wants to make an enemy." she said. Well...most people she knew anyway...It had been awhile since she talked to such a gentleman. He then asked if she had to be anywhere. She thought about it....She didn't have anything in mind.

"No, nothing that I can think of." she said innocently. she was enjoying the conversation with Virgil. He was a nice person to talk to and she didn't mind staying a little while longer to humor him a bit. After all, she was still upset with her room mate and didn't feel like talking to him.

"Okay that is good. I do enjoy our conversation. But I wanted to check if I was keeping you from somewhere." He said, chuckling softly as he adjusted his glasses. "So long have you been a teacher?" He asked softly, looking at her. Feeling full and no longer thirsty he left the necessary money to pay for the coffee and soup he ordered. He placed the bag he was containing his money in back into his trenchcoat. It looked rather suspicious, being a trenchcoat after all but he had quite a few useful items in it. Pocketwatch and money seemed to be the only thing others have seen for now.
<br><br>
"How big is your class? Or classes if you teach multiple." He asked, trying to find some conversation starters and get to know a bit more about the woman infront of him. The more people he knew the better he'd feel in the end about staying here. After all everyone needs a good friend or two.
