Fall 14, Year 7 5:30 am [align=center]"I'm back~" Bunny sang out as she entered the glade, inhaling the sweet scent of the flowers. Smiling up at the sky, she took off her bag and jacket, setting them on the ground. "I actually brought something today, though I don't know how good it is..." Smiling sheepishly she knelt and pulled out a small package from her bag. Taking the contents of the bag out, she hummed lightly to herself; a small cake, bundle of flowers, some candies, and a candle. Nervously, she set them up best she could, trying to make them look presentable. "Now...I know, last time, I prayed for something that...well is pretty impossible..." Sitting on her knees, she glanced down at the offering sadly. "But, today, I have something else to wish for. And, and I also have somethings for you, see?" Smiling she motioned to the things in front of her. "...though I can't say I know what it is you like..." Scratching the back of her head, she looked over her items; they...they would be good enough, right? "....oh!" Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out some matches and lit one, cringing as she did so; she was always nervous around things that could hurt her. Lighting the candle she quickly blew out the little match and tucked them back in her pocket. "There. Much better." Shifting some, she rubbed her legs, wondering what she needed to do next. Well...I guess...praying is good, right? Clearing her throat, she closed her eyes and bowed her head. "Dear...dear Goddess...I...I know I've only recently started talking to you...but, um...well, I would like to ask you...for something...if that would be alright..." ...ugh, I knew I should have rehearsed this... |

[ooc;; HOMG sorry I totally meant to reply to this earlier ;A; It's kinda blah, but I hope it'll do!] Hm? Oh...? ... Oh! OH! This certainly was a rare sight! A very, very rare sight! Although hidden from human eyes, three small sprites watched the sight from nearby, curiosity sparkling in their eyes. The largest of the three, a rather wide sprite clad in yellow, frowned, his head tilted slightly. From behind him, a sprite in red and another in blue looked out from either side, their heads inclined in similar fashions. "Who is it? Who is it?" the blue sprite, Nak, asked. His companions could only give a shrug and a grunt each before a fascinated silence settled over them again. It had certainly been a while since they had seen anyone bring such nice-looking gifts here especially for the Goddess. When was the last time? None of them could even remember, that's how long it was! "She must really need something, then!" the red sprite, Nic, said, stepping out from behind his broad-bodied friend. As Nak followed suit, Flak gave an almost sagely nod of agreement. "We should go over there," the sprite said. Though he first glanced between him, looking from Nic to Nak, almost as if for approval. When he got nothing, though, and only saw their gaze fixed on the woman nearby, Flak looked over again, curious. What were they so fascinated with? ... Oh... oh! "Praying," he breathed, almost in disbelief. Word was that this woman had been praying before, but none of them had seen it with their own eyes. However, now that they were watching her as she spoke, her head bowed and eyes closed, they knew what to do. "Yeah, let's go!" Nic exclaimed, pointing a finger in the woman's direction before he scurried off, Nak and Flak trailing behind him. Their steps through the grass and across the flowers were energetic, bouncy, happy. It truly had been a while since someone took the time to do this here, in the Goddess' own haven. Finally having this happen was almost unfathomably exciting! And surely it meant only the start of an exciting adventure for both them and this young human, too! Shortly, the sprites stopped in front of the human female's setup. As Flak began his observation of the cake, Nak found himself mesmerized by the flickering flame atop the candle. And finally Nic, always the leader, lifted their invisibility so that the praying woman would be able to see them. Once that was done, he jumped up and down, waving a hand in an attempt to get her attention. "Hello, hello! Hello there!" he called out, cupping his free hand around his mouth. When Nic began to call out to the woman, Nak and Flak hastily drew themselves away from their affairs. Promptly, they joined in on the jumping and calling. "Hello! What's your name? What's your name?" Nak asked, rocketing himself higher into the air than the others. "Hi! What were you praying for? What kind of cake is that?" Flak's jumps weren't quite as high, but what he lacked in height he made up for with the mad flailing of his arms. The three sprites, so overwhelmed by their excitement, continued bouncing and chattering and waving. Their eyes, bright with cheer and adoration, were fixated on the woman as they waited for a reponse to any of their many, many questions. |

[align=center](( ooc: Woo hoo! I don't think it's blah at all~! Thank you for replying! ^.^ )) For a moment, Bunny remained silent, trying to find the right words. How did one address a Goddess, anyways? She had always done so in a very casual manner, but now as she kneeled bedore her offerings, she felt the need to be formal. Reverent. Biting her lip, she wondered if she should have dressed better. ...m-maybe I should start over...er, or...go home, dress up and come back with more things...should...should I have a chant or something?...maybe I should offer money or-- "Hello, hello! Hello there!" Hearing a voice, Bunny jumped some, her eyes flying open. She felt a bit annoyed at being disturbed in her praying. But it's not like I was getting anywhere so... Scanning the glade she saw no one and blinked. Then she looked down in front of her. And saw them. Three tiny little boys. In elf outfits. And pointed ears. Now, Bunny had always been a huge fan of fairy tales. Heck, she made up stories to make her own life more exciting! But being suddenly face to face with the real deal...needless to say she was flabbergasted. Falling back onto her rump, she stared wide eyed at the three of them. Her mouth opened and closed much like a fish as she tried to think of what to say or do, and think up some reason why they were there. Or if...if they're there at all...! Oooh Bunny you've gone off the deep end now...!! "Hello! What's your name? What's your name?" As this one launched himself into the air, she stared at him, trying to reboot her brain. "...I...um...er....I-I-I..." Gulping, she finally managed to gasp out, "...B-Bunny...my name is Bunny..." How else did one respond to leaping elves? Mama never taught me about this... "Hi! What were you praying for? What kind of cake is that?" Moving her gaze from the larger one to the tiniest, she swallowed again, trying to remember; it was hard to think about anything but the three elf-beings in front of her. "...i-it's...um...chocolate...with...with chocolate icing...I-I-I figured...everyone likes chocolate...so..." trailing off, she simply looked at the three of them, glad she had already been sitting. She didn't even know what to do, besides answer their questions. ...oooh my goodness, Pops...help..! |

The praying woman, apparently surprised by their sudden appearance, fell back onto her backside. Her eyes were huge, wide, like little suns on her face. The way her mouth open and closed, forming words but failing, made the sprites giggle madly in between their questions. However, despite seeing her clear signs of surprise, none of them stopped. No, the tiny trio simply continued jumping and chattering as they did. Their noise eventually began to settle down, though, when the woman was finally able to quell their onslaught of questions with some answers. She began stuttering and stammering first, at which point the sprites were briefly silenced in an almost frightening unison. They listened through her stumbling before she gave her name. At that point they burst out altogether, "Bunny!" as if hailing their new queen. But, not a moment later, the questions continued. Only when Bunny began to speak again did silence settle over them like fog over a lake. Once quiet, the three stood on the ground, eyes wide in excitement and anticipation as she began talking again. Flak, the largest sprite, seemed particularly interested in the cake. He leaned forward, tiny fists clenched, eyes darting back and forth between Bunny and the cake, unsure of just which he wanted to focus on. Meanwhile Nak, the smallest, seemed completely focused on the human female as she spoke, eyes sparkling - it was quite clear which one he found the most interesting. And finally Nik, the red-clad leader of the three, simply seemed to stand back, fingers thoughtfully stroking his chin. He said nothing; neither of them did. At least, until the woman trailed off. Almost immediately, Flak and Nak burst out with the beginning of a few new questions. However, Nik suddenly gave a sharp whistle, cutting them off before they could even start. "Wait, wait, wait! We're forgetting the most important question!" Nik exclaimed, turning to his friends. Frowning, Nak turned his face towards him. "Huh? Which one's that?" he asked, tilting his head to the side. Then, silence. It seemed that none of them could remember. Whether it was the heat of the moment or the dulling effects of time that wiped their memories, though, was another matter. Whatever the reason though, their little issue was quite a bit of a pickle! All three seemed to immediately catch onto this, as they gathered into a little circle in front of the woman. Frowning and whispering, they conversed amongst themselves, brainstorming what the mysterious question could be. Suddenly, like a bolt from the blue, Flak snapped his fingers. "What does she want to ask for?" he asked, calmly but happily, his features brightened in a smile. The yellow sprite held up a small index finger, staring blankly at his two friends who reflected the look right back to them. For a moment they seemed frozen like this, perhaps paralyzed by the obviousness of the question or... well, some other unknown sprite condition. But nonetheless, they quickly turned around with stunningly unplanned synchronization and asked the woman altogether; "What do you want to ask the Goddess for?" |
