cool, sunny[/align]
Sapphire Glade, with its eternal spring and bountiful garden, was easily one of her favourite places to relax.

The priestess strolled into the area, garbed in her robes as usual. It was a little bit depressing, being cooped up in the village too long. And Xaria supposed it had been a while since she set aside some time to enjoy nature. So, she decided to take a break and do so today. After all, part of being a disciple of the Goddess was appreciating her blessings - for example, the beautiful and unique island scenery. And what better place to do so than in the Goddess' supposed haven? Though, she had to admit that she was also here for the inexplicable weather... While traces of summer's warmth still clung to the air, the crispness of fall was still dominant. It reminded her that winter was coming and frankly, that was a little depressing, too. By being here, she was allowing herself the delusion that it was still spring, and the year was still young.

True, she would have to face reality eventually... But, Xaria wanted to savour the illusion while she could, even if only for a bit.

Upon reaching the heart of the Glade, the priestess settled down on the ground amongst the lush grass and flowers. The pink-haired woman smiled gently, reaching out to a Blue Magic Flower. She stroked one of the blue petals, admiring its vibrant colour. Looking up and around, she noticed that they were everywhere. So then, the flowers in this place changed with the seasons outside, even if the temperature here was constant. Fascinating, she thought, brows arched. However, part of herself wanted to prove this observation wrong. Surely there would be a delicate little Toy Flower or something different amongst the sea of blue petals! Feeling a challenge coming on within herself, Xaria rose to her feet. Bending over, she picked the flower she had been so lovingly admiring and tucked it into her hair, underneath her headband. Well, even if she couldn't find any, she felt the urge to pick flowers regardless. The temple interior could use some sprucing up.

Smiling, she began to walk, eyes searching for any different flowers poking out. There, at the very least, had to be a Red Magic Flower somewhere. I'll have to at least find one of those, she told herself as she walked, occasionally bending down to pluck an especially pretty flower. As she walked through the Glade, searching and admiring, her enthusiasm about her flower hunt slowly grew. Eventually she even found herself singing out loud, her song cheerful and carefree. It was a bit silly, how childishly excited she was, but Xaria was frankly too absorbed in her activity to realize this, let alone care.

Over time, the woman found herself holding a fair-sized bundle of blue flowers. But, she had yet to come across any different kinds. And so, her singing and searching continued on, the woman stuck in her own little bubble in the same way that the Glade was stuck in its own little world of Spring.

The world of spring that seemed to be stuck in time, Yusuke had never seen or heard of such a place. Butterflies fluttered about as the trees and flowers blew in the warm breeze. It was all so beautiful but it seemed so fake compared to the rest of the world in all of it's oranges and reds. At least it was warmer though, Yusuke hated the cold.

Yusuke finally made it to an open field where he saw a girl with long pink hair, singing to herself. His silver hair blew in the breeze as he walked closer to her with a smile on his lips. He finally found someone who seemed to be as hyper as he was. She looked as if she was searching for something but he had no idea what that would be.

"Do you need any help searching for whatever you are searching for?" he asked hoping not to startle the female, who, from what Yusuke noticed, was stuck in her own littler world.

So far... nothing.

Perhaps the flowers really did change with the rest of the seasons. As she came to realize this, the woman's mood dampened a little bit. It would have been nice to find a Spring or Summer flower hidden somewhere... she would certainly feel proud for doing so! ... Would that be a little pathetic? Briefly, both Xaria's steps and song stopped as she mulled over this in her head. Well... maybe it would be pathetic, but it certainly wouldn't be the only part of her that was. And for a person like her, who had little to be proud of, she had to cling to whatever she could, didn't she?

... Shaking her head, Xaria shrugged the thoughts off and shifted back into her bubble, resuming her song and search with unchanged vigor. Maybe she was pathetic, and maybe she wouldn't find anything except fall flowers here - but neither were reason enough to kill her good mood. Not today, anyway; the positivity in the nature around her seemed to neutralize the negativity inside of her. There was something about being surrounded by all this beauty, all these flowers, that dissolved all cares and worries in her head and only left a pure, unadulterated cheer.

And so, the priestess continued on, the oblivious bubble around her thickening. It was only when she heard someone speak that it finally burst. "Do you need any help searching for whatever you are searching for?" the person, a man, asked.

Jumping slightly, she turned and saw a young, silver-haired male standing nearby. "Ah, um..." Xaria laughed uneasily to herself, a light blush creeping into her cheeks as her eyes fell to the bouquet of flowers in her hands. He heard me singing, she thought, embarrassed. It was not something she liked other people to hear, but... somehow, for this time, she was able to shrug it off. Temporarily, at least. Even so, her face was still slightly pink when she looked up, meeting his gaze again with a sheepish grin. "It's not necessary, but thank you. I was just looking for different kinds of flowers, nothing important," she admitted, raising the fruits of her search. "So far, these are the only kind I have been able to find."

Xaria turned her face towards them again, twirling them about in her fingers. "Not that I'm complaining, though. They're quite pretty," she said softly, almost maternally. They would definitely be nice to have in the temple, she decided. Perhaps, she would make this a routine thing to do? The woman liked the flowers, of course. But she also realized the strangeness of her unwaveringly carefree mood in this place - and she liked it. It'll probably do me some good, she told herself. Before she could sink too far into her thoughts, though, she looked up to the young man and smiled.

"Thank you for the offer nonetheless. I hope you didn't come over here just to do that, though...?"

[ooc;; DD: not very good, sorry]
