Mena was a bit offended by his comment, but hid it by joking. "So you're saying I'm boring?" she asked with a half smile. She looked closely at him. He seemed to be having difficulties expressing what he was trying to say. She thought of what to say to him back. It was difficult indeed since she was offended by his comment from earlier. She thought and thought and thought. Then something popped into her head. "So is there anyone in mind you'd like to bid on you?" she asked. She wasn't planning on bidding on him, but she was curious as to if he had a crush or not. She was not interested in anyone romantically. |

LEON Tag || Mena Leon didn't mean to offend Mena. He just wasn't a very smooth talker, especially with the ladies. The female species was just too complicated to really even try to understand. Maybe that was why he was pushing back having a relationship so far. Leon thought about just using the excuse that he was married to his job if the topic of marriage ever came up. It was pretty much true. Who needed love anyways. Someone, not sure who, when Leon was young had told him that love was just a myth.. a fairy tale. Something that could never happen in real life. "Uh..," again Leon was caught in the spotlight with a question he had no real answer too. "Your actually the first female I've met on the island," he admitted, "So no one really. Just between you and I.. I am hoping that maybe I'll get over looked." OOC: Side Note: PLEASE DON'T OVERLOOK LEON.. HE REALLY NEEDS TO GET OUT AND MEET SOMEONE NEW.... Okay.. now back to RPing. |

Mena nodded with a smile. "Alright. It'll be our little secret." she said with a simple smile. She looked at all the couples that seemed to be paired up and felt a bit left out. She figured she'd look some more. But she still felt like talking with Leon for just awhile longer. "So tell m, what's the easiest pet to take care of? Menaka needs a compnion and since I'll be looking for a job soon I could use a pet for her." she asked curiously. |

Sparrow shook her head. Her fair white hair went a little lopsided at the sudden movement, but her hands quickly moved to smooth it out. How fickle her hair was, it took ages to get it to its current state. Smooth and white, like a silken curtain. Usually she just took a shower and had over with it, letting her hair dry feathery and wispy. “No, I was born in Yorkshire, ‘bout as far off from London as you can get.” Well, if you stayed in England it was. “My siblings are all Londoners, proper Westenders,” she was sure that every word that she spoke was going right over Ulysses’s head, but she felt the need to explain. Her siblings were about as different from Sparrow as they could be, in terms of near anything. She wouldn’t call them bad people, perhaps a little spoiled. She tilted her head to one side. “I’ve never been to the U.S., hardly been out of England, really.” Sparrow paused, she had always been curious about the states. “What’s it like over there?” They’re so cute together! thought Sparrow, as Ulysses messed with his nephew’s hair. She was a sucker for kids, so it wasn’t a surprise. Sparrow giggled and said to Trey, “I owe you my thanks then, without you I would be all alone tonight!” |

LEON Tag || Mena "Thanks," he replied along with a nod of his head. Leon then began to ponder over which animal would be best for Mena's daugther, "Well if your looking for a really easy animal I would have to suggest a hamster, but we don't sell those at the livestock store of course. Otherwise I'd have to say chicken but they can be nasty little things and are kind of dirty and smell pretty bad." Of course Leon didn't mind the smell much. In fact one of his favorite smells is the smell of the horse barns. It was a very calming sent to him. No wonder the poor guy was all alone. |

Mena nodded at his suggestion. "I guess you wouldn't. After all it's livestock not a pet store." she said smiling. After checking her watch for the time she wondered who else was here. As much as she enjoyed talking to Leon she wanted to meet other guysd and see if her decision on Leon would be final. She'd stick around a bit longer before she left though. "So do chickens really smell that bad?" she asked curiously. |

LEON Tag || Mena Leon couldn't help but let out a real, not fake, hearty laugh. "The smell of chickens is like nothing you've ever smelt before. I mean its tolerable but its just.. well no body would ever enjoy the smell. You'll have to come out to the ranch sometime and see for yourself and bring your daughter with you. I'm sure she'd have fun with all the animals." Leon knew that he would enjoy giving a tour of the ranch. Anything animal or ranch related was what Leon enjoyed most. |

Mena smiled widely at the thought. "That sounds fantastic." she said calmly but hapily. "I'm sure Menaka would love that." she said happily. She certainly always wanted to visit a ranch and decided that was a perfect oppritunity to show Menaka the country life she liked more and more each day. |

HeIdI Tag || Gabriel, Jacob, Cod, Ulysses & Cyrus outfit It was the night of the date auction and because Heidi was so sure that she was going to find her one true love that night, she had gone out and bought nearly new everything and had her hair done, by herself of course. She was so excited and so sure that she had almost bought herself a wedding dress that morning. 'Someday soon,' she had told herself as her face had been pressed up against the window of the store, 'one day I'll find you my love.' Later that evening after finally arriving to the estate in style, Heidi entered the building and followed the loud noise of people's voices until she came upon a large slightly decorate room. "It's beautiful," she said out loud to herself, "its the perfect setting for a proposal!" Just the thought of her knight in shining armor kneeling down before her with a 18K Precise White Gold, Princess Cut, 5 Carat diamond ring made her tingle inside. It was just too exciting. 'Where are you my love?' she wondered inside that pretty little head of hers as she became slowly walking to the right. She decided that it would be best to circle the room starting from the right side making her way counter closewise to the left. Heidi knew that the men being auctioned off had name tags so as she began her search for Prince Charming keeping her eyes locked upon all the men's shirts. The first person she came upon was a tall blonde. "Hello," she said softly while flashing him her most genuine smile. Heidi then squinted her eyes and took a look at his name tag. "Gabriel," she said with the same smile, "such a nice name. I am Heidi." Only seconds later did she move on to the next guy. Her new tactic now was checking out all the men and introducing herself then she would put their names all in a bowl and draw one out. Whoever's name she would draw would surely be Mr. Right. Otherwise it would take her all night if she kept up a conversation with every single man. The next poor victim was Jacob. Now this guy was a giant, compared to Heidi's height. "Hello mister... Jacob," Heidi looked down at his name tag then looked up into his dark blue eyes. Everything about him was just so perfect. 'He's the one,' Heidi thought as she extended her hand and patted his chest where the name tag was, "I'm Heidi." Then with a silly little girly giggle she had gone onto her next target. Cod, is what his name tag said. "Hello," Heidi said almost with too much enthusiasm. "I'm Heidi but you can call me Heidi, okay?" Then with a squeal she was gone. "So many men, so little time," she mentioned to herself as she skipped along to the next man. When he came into view Heidi stopped right in her tracks only a foot away. Maybe she would keep her distance with this guy, so instead of being only an inch away from his face she was only an arm length away. "I'm Heidi. Hello." Then once again she leaned in to have a look at his name. "Ulysses.. that's a weird name," she cried out as her head tilted to the side. "That's okay. Your still a possibility. Its not the name but the person inside you." Before the guy could even get a word out she had zipped out from underneath him. Once the next man came into view Heidi once again stopped, her sandals nearly making a halting noise. "Oh my gosh!!!!!" she whispered excitedly. Heidi just had to get this guy's name. He was definitely the one. "Hello.. hello.. hiya!" Heidi said as she walked up to the guy. "I'm Heidi. Please call me Heidi and you are.." and once again she peered at the name tag, "Cyrus." Heidi stood there looking rather confused. Maybe this guy wasn't so her type as she had thought. "Like the Sirens but with an 'us'.. Odd but okay." She looked up at him with a smile anyways. "Well I think I'm thirsty so I'll talk to you later," and with that she was gone in search for the punch bowl. Searching for her soul mate was definitely tiring but would be well worth it in the end. |

Cyrus Tag: Heidi & Morigan Cyrus had chatted up a number of pretty ladies since he had arrived, but none of them had struck his fancy. The woman he was speaking to right now, a young girl with wide blue eyes and blonde hair. She said she was twenty-six, but she looked about nineteen, maybe younger. And if she was as young as he suspected… that would mean she would be closer to his daughter’s age than his and that just made him shiver. She was talking about her best friend’s new dog, and why was the word ‘like’ in every sentence she spoke? In the middle of her reenactment of the time her teacher hid a cell phone in the ceiling, Cyrus held up his hand, having quite enough. “Excuse me, I think I’ll go grab myself a drink.” Cyrus said, bowing slightly to the young girl. She smiled widely, unaware that he had no intention of returning for a good half hour at least. His walk to the buffet was blissfully free of yammering. She was a sweet girl, but young, and annoying. In fact, all the women had been younger than him. Were they all shipped to the mainland the moment they reached thirty? The buffet table was filled with food, but his appetite had left him, he reached for a plastic cup and poured himself some cola. The carbonated drink fizzed in the cup, ready to bubble over before it shrunk down at the last moment. "I'm Heidi. Please call me Heidi and you are. Cyrus. Like the Sirens but with an 'us'.. Odd but okay.” Cyrus froze, why did he keep attracting overly talkative girls? “Yes, well-“ "Well I think I'm thirsty so I'll talk to you later," and with that she was gone. Cyrus laughed nervously. He noticed a pale ghost of a man lingering by the buffet, a somewhat anxious expression on his face. Maybe he had been traumatised, too. Cyrus smiled at the man. “Some strange girls here tonight, did you see that?” He jerked his head in the direction of the girl. The white-haired man looked nervous, maybe some idle conversation with a person who wasn’t trying to get in his pants would cheer him up. |

Dustin Tag: Madison and the mayor As Dustin wandered aimlessly about, his "unique" choice in clothing drawing a few bewildered stares, he suddenly became aware of a strange rubbing on his shoulder and a stammered compliment. Was someone actually trying to hit on him? While he was wearing a ninja mask and boxers? That was... mildly interesting. He paused for a moment to turn and glance at the stranger, only to find that the young girl with questionable tastes was not really a stranger at all. He had met her before, not that long ago. She had made him review her book in exchange for girl's clothes... And he had never actually gotten her name. He opened his mouth to reply to her, meaning to drone out the first random thought that came to his mind, but stopped himself and cleared his throat instead. Obviously she didn't recognize him. Why spoil the fun now? Manipulating his voice to a lower pitch, he spoke in a deep, baratone voice, "I'm searching for individuals who might be interested in joining my circus." He gave her a curt nod, ignoring her hand on his shoulder. "We are currently lacking a bearded lady. Might you be interested?" he asked, reaching out a hand to tap her chin. "I'm sure you'd look great with a big ol' mess of hair on that face of..." But before he could finish his sentence, a noisy pop pop sound interrupted him, and he turned to face the short, plump man who had begun to speak. Based on this little speech, Dustin could only assume that this man was the mayor, the individual whose home he now graced with his boxer-clad presence. When he called for someone to take the stage, Dustin immediately stepped forward, leaving the girl without another word. This was a better opportunity with a larger audience. He could always come back and bug her later if he felt like it. "Yo," he greeted the mayor, reverting back to his dull, monotone voice, extending a hand to take the mic. |

Tag:Dustin/ Open Madison immedeately became pissed when he assumed she'd look good with a beard. 'Why you little...' she thought. She went to tackle him but was restrained by Lisa. "Calm down Maddie..." she said grunting. Madison was certaily strong and stubborn. She could only imagine what Madison would have said if she had uncovered her mouth."Take it easy melon chest. Just give him some time." she said. She had to be kidding! Melon chest? "I'll bet you'd look good with my fist down your throat!" Madison said, however it was muffled by Lisa's hand. She was so ready to smack him. Once the mayor got up on the stage, Madison decided it was worth a shot and would increase her chances of being picked. Lisa smirked and pushed Madison making her stumble. Luckily Madison caught herself on the ground and ad her hands down on the floor. She got up quickly and dusted herself off. |

Tag: Taryn This was.... awkward, to say the least. Under most normal circumstances, Nick wouldn't be here, but this time, he felt as though desperate times called for desperate measures. He usually thought these things were a bit odd, but he wasn't quite here for himself. Oh, no, Nick was far too self-sacrificial (or, perhaps, conniving) to make bids for himself. He meandered nervously into the building, his eyes locked on the ground, his hands in his pockets, and instantly felt uncomfortable. Did he look desperate and weird here? Usually these types of things were fun for villagers, sure, but with him being a face that most wouldn't recognize, wouldn't this he be a little creepy? He supposed he was overthinking it. However, the back wall seemed to have a gravitational pull to it; he navigated there so quickly that, most likely, nobody would have seen him come in in the first place. He supposed he could just observe and choose a good date for Brody... sure, that would be fine... However, he found a stranger already lurking in the shadows he'd taken refuge in, and the awkward feeling he'd had since he walked in the door doubled. Should he say something? He glanced at her from the corner of his eye, gulping slightly. She was cute. Well, from what he could see of her, she was; it wasn't exactly like she was standing in the bright sunshine, but he was certain that she'd be equally as cute either way. He attempted to meander over to her as politely and casually as he could, but instead he only achieved being, quite honestly, a little too strange about it. Hopefully he wouldn't make her uncomfortable. This wasn't for him, right? No reason to get worked up - no reason to have his palms sweating like crazy. Besides, it was a silent auction; it wasn't as if he'd be asking her on a date right here and now. Just conversation, right? Just conversation. Besides, this was for his brother, not for him. He sighed nervously, preparing something witty to say as he smiled at her, opening his mouth to speak - "Hi," was all that tumbled out, the utterance barely audible. "Uh, yeah," He corrected himself quickly, his cheeks flushed, "Hello." |
