”That arm of yours was probably a little loose. Need an oil change?”

Aislinn’s question, coupled with the chuckle that she had let out a moment after asking it, causes Jill to grin from ear to ear. So nice to see somebody that has a sense of humor. Granted, she was a little worried that Aislinn would try to reprimand her for nearly dropping her possible ‘date’ to the ground, but much to the black haired girl’s surprise, it was quite the opposite. And to top it off, the concerned look that she shot in Will’s direction right after she had winded him shows that she cares, at least. Best to not test it though. That being said, the girl decides to lay off Will for the rest of the night…well, physically, at least. Grabbing an orange off of the table behind her, Jill takes a seat and promptly dives into her citrusy treat.

Watching on as his sister finds herself a snack, Will heaves a quiet sigh of relief in response. Considering that there are a few more on the table, the man figures that he’s been given a few minutes of relief from the ponytailed ‘darling’ known as his sister. Now turning his attention back to Aislinn, the black haired man can’t help himself from chuckling, despite the slight soreness he’s still feeling in his abs.

After giving away his compliment, Will watches on as Aislinn blushes once again. Surely it can’t be because of him, right? Yeah, it’s gotta be because the room is getting a little more crowded and therefore a little warmer. Then again, maybe not as the man finds himself doing the same thing when she tells him that he’d probably look good without a tie.

“Oh, that’s a relief! Thank goodness!” Will laughs as he takes the offensive garment from around his neck and stashes it away in his pocket. “The dang thing was alternating between choking me and making my neck itch like heck! That feels so much better!” Taking a brief moment to fix his collar, Will’s expression turns a tad more serious. “Thank you for not being scared off, by the way. I know that Jill can come on a little strong. She’s a good kid…most of the time.”

Melaina got bored and decided she'd go around town and explore a bit. She came across a date auction. She wished she had signed up, or at least signed her sister up as a joke. But unfortunately she was stupid and didn't do as such. It sucked but at the same time, she figured it was the perfect time to make a bid on someone.

Oh dear, where was she?

Rhea was taking a stroll around the village going sightseeing when all of a sudden, she was dragged into a crowed of people. She knew that there some sort of event going on, since she heard from the people on the train. But she wasn't trying to go to the event that means she would have to ask strangers for directions back to the village streets. So she just gave up and marched herself through the crowds of people.
<br>
<br>
Looking around she tried to find a safe place until all of this blew over. Then the worst happened and someone pushed her into a corner, and Rhea bumping into someone on her way.

[align=center]
She had been fighting herself with this. Was she to do it? Or was she to stay home? Both were very appealing questions with nice ideas, but she was utterly and totally confused. Maybe this little date auction would help her. Maybe it wouldn't. It was just so bothersome! She wanted to participate, she really did, but it was a scary idea. Did she want to chance being that silly, pathetic, anti-social geek she has always been and be laughed at or try and meet a new person. She knew her grandmother and mother would frown at her if they were here still if she hadn't gone. But, that didn't change anything. Okay, maybe it did. That thought had pushed her to sign up to be auctioned off at this date thing. She didn't want her deceased female relatives to be disappointed in her. Was that so bad?

The young lady had fretted over this ever since she signed up. That had been a week ago. It definitely had worn her down. Even though she had told herself everything would be okay, it still worried her. How couldn't it? An anti-social farmer with nothing but a small home and a few crops couldn't impress or win over anyone. Now, that wasn't what she wanted. Not to impress, but to make friends. Gueniune friends. Now, that definitely wasn't so bad. This whole date thing was probably the biggest step Honey had ever made to try and find that special someone or actually befriend another human being. So, if she were thinking clearly, this would be an achievement. Even though she hadn't met anyone, this was a big improvement.

So, now after all that stressing, Honey stood off to the corner looking awfully uncomfortable. She had tried to make it seem she was comfortable, but it was clear it wasn't helping. She stood there in the pretty, sleeveless, violet dress and matching heels. The dress itself was pretty uncomfortable for this girl. She rarely wore anything like it. How it clung to her frame all the way to her hips and then falling freely around her calves made her skin crawl with it's odd, silky texture and form-fitting material. Anyone with the right sense of mind, would stray away from such a dress. Well, with Honey's frame of mind. She prefered a pair of jeans and shirt any day. That was just her. And then the heels were scary. Sure, it added an inch to her barely 5'3'' height, but that didn't mean they weren't a death sentence waiting to happen. She could barely walk in them. No doubt she would trip quite a bit.

With that small worry, Honey shifted a tad more, playing with the little tag she had been giving upon her arrival quite some time ago. It read 'Bliss "Honey" Harmon'. She wasn't too happy about it. Sure, the 'Honey' was bigger then her actual name, but it still wasn't too great. It just made her feel icky. . . Honey repressed a shiver at the whole thing behind it and fidgetted some more. She really couldn't do anything about it but hope that they only called the name she had given herself. Not the silly Bliss Harmon.

Quietly, the farmer began to tap her heel-clad foot. The nerves were killing her. She could barely stay still, let alone eat the food that looked yummy. Her appetite was shot. There was no way she could eat tonight, what a shame.
Honey scanned the room once more, her grey gaze bouncing about, never staying on something or someone for more then a minute. She really didn't know anyone here. They all were so unfamaliar and intimidating. She couldn't bear the thought of having one of the men in this room bid for her. They probably won't though, she silently reminded herself. She wasn't at all that pretty in her eyes and she highly doubted anyone would think differently anyways. She was a wall flower, not a beauty queen like some of the women in here. No doubt they would go very high. After all, men prefered attractive women.

Voices circled through the air and bounced off walls. It all left Honey a pounding headache, not leaving any room for any real fretting besides the whole auctioning thing. There was know way she would even get a bid. How could she? She probably looked horrible. This wasn't her thing what so ever. Maybe for some of the other men and women here, but not her. No way. She couldn't believe she signed herself up for this. She felt so stupid. Her face grew hot with frustration and embarassment. This was just sad. She couldn't go through with this. Now that she was blushing, she knew she looked even worse. Honey wished she had left her hair down entirely or brought her usual cowboy hat as some would call it.
No, instead the young woman had thought it would be a good idea to put it up. Sure it had been a nice idea, but now it seemed silly. With the top layer of her hair in a bun, the bottom layer was curly and cascading down her back. It wouldn't allow much protection from prying eyes. Letting out a sigh of defeat, Honey looked around once more. Finally she noticed one man she knew. He had been the one to help her at the clinic, nurse Jacob. He was nice, but she wasn't sure. He didn't seem to want to be bothered. . .

Honey shook her head in frustration. No, she would go say hi. After all, she couldn't bear another moment by herself. This whole process and activity was a little scary. Once again that night, she wondered why she had decided to sign up for this.
Her violet heels clacked against the floor clumsily as she approached the nurse of the local clinic. She still wasn't very comfortable nor accostumed in these shoes and it was quite clear with all the noise. She frowned slightly, her face burning, as she finally came to a stop in front of him. She smiled finally at the man in relief to finally at least to be near someone she had spoken to once before.
"Um. . . h-hi Mr.Jacob." Her greeting was quite and seemed to be taken up by the other voices of the room. She wondered if he had even heard it with how quiet she had been. Mentally scolding herself for being so shy and skiddish all the time, Honey looked down at her toes, barely peeping out of the heels. She cocked her head to the side at the small detail and frowned. She hadn't noticed that before, but then again, she really had been in a daze when she got ready for this thing. Finally looking back up, the young woman watched the man before her. Hopefully he wouldn't be too displeased with her sudden appearance. . .
Right when she thought that, another person came up. Honey looked towards the newcomer and realized she had to be lost. After all, she seemed that way with how she didn't have a name tag on like some other people. However, the young woman could be wrong.
"Hey," Honey greeted the new arrival, waving slightly.

Remarkably, Jacob managed to avoid all attention for more than half an hour. In his little corner, the tall man couldn't help but smirk to himself. Hah. So far, so good. Glancing at his watch, he checked the time: it was 7:00, so he'd have... well, possibly a few more hours to go. Realizing this was a little disheartening - staying under the radar in such a small place would be a bit difficult, especially with Rozelyn prowling around. However! The man was absolutely determined to go unseen and avoid all contact with anyone. While he doubted any woman would be crazy enough to bid on him, it never hurt to take precautions anyway.

Crossing his arms over his chest, the man's eyes scanned through the crowd. There was a fair amount of people by now, and he had to make sure there was no one around who might know him. If there was, it increased the chance of interaction and he really wanted to avoid that today. Thankfully, though, he saw no one. But he did not allow himself to relax just yet. He had been in this corner for a while, and sooner or later some friendly person was bound to notice and get curious. Knowing the general friendliness of the town's population, someone was bound to come strike up a conversation based on that reason alone. Thus, he had to find another place to move to. In fact, he had to find several places and divise an irregular rotation through them. That would be more difficult to keep track of.

So, Jacob's eyes darted around the room for a few minutes, studying certain spots and adding them to his ninja itinerary as needed. It was quite loud, the entire air a stew of noises. He tuned them all out, though, and focused solely on his mental mapping. Soon, he was satisfied with his general plan - for now - and stood up to go on the move. However, just as he did, someone bumped into him. Cursing in his head, his glare intensified - he... he had gone so long. Why oh why...? Frowning in his displeasure, he looked down to see the person who had broken him out of his little bubble of invisibility.

It was a woman with long, turquoise hair - an odd shade if her were to say so himself. Despite his initial anger, he couldn't quite maintain it as the female made a weak apology. Though, he was still a little annoyed and so his glare persisted. "It's fine," he said shortly. As he spoke these two simple words, though, he found his gaze slowly drifting away from her face and to her hair. And, without even realizing it, any remaining anger began to slip away as curious thoughts began popping in his heads like weeks. God, it really was a crazy colour. Was it real? A wig? Natural? Dyed? Didn't it get caught in things? He really didn't understand how women could keep such long hair - his sister's was like that... how did she do it...? What would he look like with long hair, would it be weird...?

His gaze followed the flow of the girl's hair, moving away from her face to see just how long it was. As he did, though, Jacob suddenly noticed someone else standing close by. Frowning, he shifted his gaze and saw a woman in a violet dress standing there. Surprise flashed briefly over his features before his usual neutral glare settled in. This was... oh, Honey. He had met her when she was wearing dirtier, more casual clothing so seeing her in a dress threw him off at first. Turning to her, he gave her a small nod. "Hey."

With that, Jacob's eyes shifted between the two women before him. He had to scold himself for being so oblivious to everything - he didn't even seen either of them approaching. Well, in any case... It looked like he would have to abandon his plan, huh? He sighed quietly. He could always just run off to hide anyway, but that was too rude to really be an option.

But... just standing here, with two people - what was he to do? Talking to just one person was an arduous task already, nevermind conversing with two.

Well Rhea was relieved that she didn't hurt the man. She wouldn't know what to do if she was to injure someone on her first visit into viewing her new home. It was a nice village, and the people here looked quite nice as well.
<br>
But...
<br>
Was it something on her face?
<br>
Rhea couldn't help but feel herself shrinking, as the tall man examined her hair as if it was something you didn't see everyday. There are other blue haired women in this village, was there not? she thought of what the man could be thinking of her hair as he focused on it. And while he took the time to do that, she took the chance to scan him over, he was good looking to say the least. Not like she was interested though.
<br>
<br>
Rhea got enough of his looks and cleared her throat in a way to get his attention. "Well there has to be something to make it up to you, yes?" she asked hoping that there wasn't so she could just try and make her way out of this hellhole.
<br>
<br>
Rhea looked over at the other female and bowed. Okay so she was obsessed with Japanese culture so what.

Tag: Will and Jill

Aislinn's eyes followed Jill as the younger girl grabbed an orange and started eating it, plopping herself down at the table and was quiet. She chuckled softly and then turned back to Will. There seemed to be a lot of blushing going on between the two of them. It was almost as though they'd never gotten compliments before... On Aislinn's part, it was mostly because of what Jill had told her earlier. She was still somewhat skeptical about the whole Will 'liking' her deal... only because they had just met the other day and she just couldn't believe that her friend could have developed any feelings for her already.

Ah but she wondered why Will was blushing. Surely not because of her compliments. After all, he had to know that he looked dashing in that outfit of his. Aislinn blinked at herself. Dashing? Had she really just thought that? She shooed that thought to the back of her mind.

As Will took her comment on the tie and got rid of it, she laughed at his reaction and what he continued to say afterwards. "If it was choking you, then wouldn't it have been your fault for tying it too tightly?" she asked, chuckling softly at him, eyes following his movements as he fixed his collar. In Aislinn's opinion, he actually looked better without the tie. The tie made it seem to formal. Without it, it gave him formal but slightly casual look. It seemed more natural on him.

"Me? Scared off?" Aislinn echoed, mocking a surprised expression. "I did tell you that I wouldn't be scared off so easily the other day, did I not?" she asked him, giving him a smile. "And I think your sister is perfectly fine the way she is. Although I would prefer it if she didn't try to knock you out cold since that wouldn't really let me talk to you now." she flashed Jill a quick grin; an inside joke? Obviously. If Will had gone unconscious, the sister's plan wouldn't have worked because Aislinn wouldn't even be able to go on a date with him.

For some reason, Aislinn found herself looking forward to the end of the auction. She couldn't explain why...maybe it was just the knowledge that she was almost guaranteed a date. She had been so worried at the beginning of not even having anyone bid on her.

"Are you hungry?" she then asked, eying her own small plate of food at the table. "There's plenty of food, y'know. Eat and talk.. that sort of thing." she continued, chuckling again.

Ulysses still didn't quite know how this had happened, how his nephew had talked him into signing up, but...well, here he was. Yes, Trey had actually convinced him to sign up for this silly thing, saying that Ulysses himself needed more human exposure, more so than he got at his place of work. Granted, he was finally starting to meet some new people there, but, he supposed, this kind of thing couldn't hurt too much...could it?

Too late to back out now. Ulysses had at first thought of making Trey stay home, but then after repeated reminders that Trey was now eleven years old, practically a man, Ulysses finally consented and let the child come along. Just as long as Trey stayed close to his side, but his nephew didn't seem to mind these restrictions. Pausing at the door to pick up a name tag, Ulysses wrote out his name then stuck it upon his light blue button-down shirt. He and Trey were dressed somewhat alike, both wearing slacks, but while Ulysses had a button-down shirt on, Trey had a simple white polo shirt. Wandering through the crowd, they manged to make their way safely over to the food table, and decided to stay there a few minutes.

Why, exactly, had she decided to come here today? ... Oh, right. She was so bored. It had only been one day since her mother and brother's departure, yet Kayla was already beginning to feel their absence. Ah, but not that she missed them, no. At least, not yet. It had only been a day, after all. Missing them after only one day, come now. ...

However, she hadn't stooped so low as to sign herself up for this event. Her mother, had she been around, just might have been crazy enough to do so, but not Kayla herself. However, she just might...maybe...bid on someone, if the mood struck her. Which, it probably wouldn't but hey. Just in case, she'd brought her purse with her. Today, she was wearing a simple white dress with random blue flower prints on it here and there. Standing at the entrance but off to the side a little, Kayla was momentarily disheartened to find that she did not recognize a single face.

... Ah, well. That is why one was supposed to go and socialize, now, wasn't it? With a small sigh, Kayla started forward, towards the crowd of what seemed like crazy peoples.

Jacob did seem a little upset with her appearance. She couldn't blame him. She truly wasn't the most desirable company. However, that didn't change the fact that she was here bugging him. She was standing here talking to him. It was clear from his slight glaring and sticking to the corner beforehand that he didn't want to be bug. Who could blame him? This was clearly not his thing, just like Honey, but none the less, they were both here.

Her fidgetting continued as the silence grew. Picking at something imaginary on her dress, the young woman kept her gaze down and away from anyone elses.
Her foot tapped slightly until finally someone spoke. It was Jacob returning her hello. She nodded in acknowledgement before looking up. She smiled, a small pulling of the sides of her lips. Her face began to burn once more with a tell-tale sign of uncomfort. It was just like her silly quirk of blushing to start up already. It was ridiculous and made her feel so silly.

Pushing her internal ranting to the side for the time being, Honey looked over towards the girl. She was speaking now. At the words spoken, her smile grew. Jacob had been caught staring and this girl really wasn't comfortable with it. The young woman couldn't blame her. It wasn't fun being center of attention. If anything, it was utterly embarassing and nerve-wracking. This girl probably felt the same way and she probably got a lot of it, after all, her hair was such an odd color. And her eyes.

Honey study the newcomer in front of her quietly. She definitely had pretty hair and eyes. No doubt they were natural. After all, the coloring didn't look fake. No, in fact it looked the exact opposite. It was really quite pretty.
"You k-know, you h-have really pretty h-hair." Honey complemented the girl quietly, smiling lightly at her. People should definitely be given compliments, or so Honey thought. She hated how some people were so highly prided over unoriginal blonde hair and blue eyes. It was pretty bland, so people who don't have that and are called weird is just wrong. They should also be given compliments. After all, it was always a great feeling to hear such things from others, especially if it is gueniune.
"I assume i-it is your actual h-hair color, no?" Trying to make conversation was proving a tad easier then usual for Honey tonight. But, when things interested her, it came easy to talk about and the girl's hair was no exception.

"Oh, I-I-I'm sorry." Blushing slighty, the young woman frowned at herself. She hadn't even been polite enough to introduce herself. That was just rude, and even after asking the girl a question. Definitely not at all polite.
"I am H-honey."

tag: Ulysses

Sparrow was floored by how big the mansion was, and how many people had shown up.

She had passed up the option of being put up for auction, partly because she wanted to bid herself, and partly because she was afraid no one would bid for her in the first place. She had made some attempt to look presentable, anyway. For the first time in ages she put had put-on make-up, and she’d made attempt to style her hair. Its wasn’t feathery or dull tonight, and gave the appearance of some body, in the lights of the mansion it even looked glossy. Sparrow couldn’t believe she was thinking this, but tonight she didn’t look half-bad.

The crowd was ultimately oblivious to her existence, instead chatting amongst themselves, hardly noticing the woman passing through their midst. She searched the crowd for a familiar face, or at the least a friendly one. Her wish was granted, through the gaps in the crowd she spotted Ulysses. Sparrow bounced and her heels, smiling. Yes! Now I won’t be all alone! she thought. She moved through the crowd, manoeuvring around clumps of men and women chatting, sizing each other up.

“Ulysses!” she called, waving. Sparrow slowed to a halt. “You’re here, too?” her eyes glanced at the nametag that decorated her co-worker’s chest. “Oh, and you’re up for auction. I might have to bid on you.” Sparrow laughed softly, not entirely sure if she was joking or serious. “And who’s this?” she asked, looking to the young boy who stood at Ulysses’s side.

Cyrus
tag: OPEN!

Cyrus could feel his spirit plummet as he stepped into the mansion, the door clanged behind him, and he felt suddenly trapped. It had sounded fun. A chance to mingle with friends, until Cyrus came to the sudden realisation that he had no friends on the island. Other than Adrienne, but he didn’t really want to think about that. When travelling he had always been able to make friends easily, chat up a few ladies in Venezia and share a round of beers with the lads in Dublin. Here, things were more inclusive. It was like a secret club he wasn’t invited to, only he couldn’t slink into the chess club room and eat lunch with the losers. Cyrus had never been unpopular, or anonymous, so this was a new experience for him. And it wasn’t an entirely pleasant one, at that. He couldn't even see Jewel, the only other person he knew, but he hadn't exactly expected to. She was probably at home with the baby at this point.

He straightened his tie, brushed the lint off his vest, and prayed he wasn’t overdressed. With just a hint of nervousness he stepped into the crowd, and searched for a familiar face, or at the very least a friendly one. The entire evening he’d spent trying to comb back his hair and air out his semiformal duds that hadn’t seen the sunlight in years. He had let Adrienne chose his cologne, Cyrus had forgotten what it was like not to smell like fish and salt for once in his life. If his carefully planned appearance didn’t attract attention, maybe his nametag would.

The crowd chatted amongst themselves, ignorant of Cyrus passing through their midst. He moseyed over to the beverages, and poured himself some tea. With a small sigh, he waited, hoping to spot someone he knew.

”If it was choking you, then wouldn’t it have been your fault for tying it too tightly?”

“Well, yeah, I suppose so.” Will concedes, feeling a little foolish for his display. “But to be fair, no matter how tight or loose I have it, it still causes my neck to itch. Either way, I’m glad it’s gone.”

As Aislinn chuckles at the whole thing, Will himself can’t help but chuckle as well. Laughter, much like the blushing earlier, seems to be contagious. The smile stays on the man’s face as Aislinn re-affirms that she isn’t scared of Jill. Will wasn’t figuring that she would be, but he always feels the need to defend his little sister’s sometimes rash actions. After all, he has seen more than one person scared away by his sister’s over eagerness. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem like that’s going to be the case. Maybe if he lucks out, Jill and Aislinn will become buddies and maybe the older girl could help her be more…ladylike?

”Although I would prefer it if she didn’t try to knock you out cold since that wouldn’t really let me talk to you now.”

“Well, in that case, I would have to say that you’re in luck. Judo is Jill’s thing. So, rather than knocking me out, she’d be more likely to throw me or put me in a chokehold or something.” Will chuckles, shaking his head quickly after. “Ah, but she hasn’t used me as a sparring partner since she was 10 and got better than me. Which wasn’t too hard to do, considering I’ve never done anything like judo.”

As Aislinn offers up a seat at the table for Will, the black haired man promptly agrees and excuses himself to grab some goodies. After all, it has been awhile since lunch. Returning to the table a few moments later while pulling a pretty impressive balancing act with his plate and three glasses, Will sets his food on the table and grabs some chair. Eyeing his newly acquired steak hungrily, the black haired man manages to take a moment to hand a glass of orange juice to Jill, getting his hair rubbed and a thank you in response. Turning his attention back to Aislinn, he takes a second glass off of the tray and offers it to her.

“Um, I wasn’t sure what you would like, so I hope that iced tea is okay.” Will says while sheepishly grinning. “So then, what exactly is on Miss Aislinn’s mind? Or would you like me to go fetch you something to eat first? Does seem rude for me to have a full blown meal while you‘re just there with a little snack plate.”

... Jacob wasn't really an expert at social situations, but... he was reasonably sure that all three of them were uncomfortable to some extent.

Looking away, he sighed. Was this his fault? He assumed so. Closing his eyes, he felt a lump form in his throat. He really didn't want to be rude to these two, so he supposed he was stuck here in the conversation until they decided to leave. If they did. Slowly, his eyelids lifted as the crazy-hair girl cleared her throat. Directing his gaze onto her, he stared rather blankly at her words when she spoke. Huh? Something to do to make it up to him? A wrinkle formed on his brow - she'd only bumped into him, it wasn't like she ruined his day or anything. Well, actually, she did sort of ruin his plan... but he supposed Honey would have been there even if she hadn't, so either way he was doomed to interact. That wasn't to say that he was mad at either of them or anything. No, certainly not. He was just a little uncomfortable, having been backed into a corner. Rather literally, at that.

But, yeah. No, he wasn't mad. "It's fine," he repeated, giving the girl a small nod. Here, he took a moment to look away from her hair and saw that she was dressed casually, and lacked a nametag. Seeing this, his stomach twisted. Sh-She wasn't going to bid on him, was she? Gulping, a sudden nervousness clamoring in his head, he quickly looked away to Honey to distract himself. In addition to her dress, he noticed a nametag. So she was being auctioned off - right. They were in the same boat, it seemed.

His attention wasn't drawn away from the unnamed girl for long, though. Honey turned to her and complimented her hair, stammering and blushing before she introduced herself. The tall man looked over at the turquoise-haired female and gave a slow nod as well. "Jacob," he said quietly, realizing it would be rude if he simply skipped his introduction. But - wait, didn't he decide to try to make himself as unappealing as possible? He cursed himself. If it meant neglecting his manners, then he suddenly wasn't sure what to do. It probably wouldn't be good to get a bad name for himself just because he didn't want to put up with what he had to for one night.

Scratching the back of his head, he sighed again. In his irritation at his sister, he hadn't realized that. And now that he did, Jacob felt his responsibilities as both a man and an adult settle firmly in his head.

This led him to the (positively awful) decision of attempting to compliment the two ladies before him. If he was stuck here, he just had to suck it up make the best of it, didn't he? That meant making an effort to be something close to a 'gentleman', at least. Especially with Honey - she didn't seem like a hugely confident girl, so surely an ego boost would do good for her.

The only problem was, well, coming up with one.

Jacob looked at the floor, his face darkening as he wrestled with the words in his head. All right, uh. This wasn't really his strong point. He didn't really do flattery. So really his only basis was memories of more charming men he had known and seen in movies. However, just the thought of mimicking their silver tongues made him squeamish. He couldn't do those things, no way. Still, though, Jacob lifted his head again to try, despite realizing his lost cause. Pressing his lips together, he hastily tossed something together in his mind and then said, "You guys... girls. Ladies. You look..." Smooth, Jacob, he thought, looking away. "... Nice."

“But to be fair, no matter how tight or loose I have it, it still causes my neck to itch. Either way, I’m glad it’s gone.”

Aislinn chuckled at this. "Well, whatever's best for you. Better not to deal with something that makes you uncomfortable." she told him. At the mention of Jill doing Judo and being more likely to throw Will, Aislinn laughed. "Well, throwing you would be a good way to knock you unconscious, no?" Another light laugh from her at the whole thing. "And at least she can fend for herself." A smile and a nod in Jill's direction as she said this, feeling as though she was ignoring the sister for the brother; although she kind of was.

At least at Aislinn's offer, Will excused himself immediately to get food. She wondered then if he would've felt rude for excusing himself to get food if she hadn't offered that he get some... With his personality, it seemed to her that it would've have been a very likely situation. When he returned with his plate and three glasses, she couldn't help but note, "You'd make a better waiter than I could, balancing all of that the way you do." she laughed and watched as he gave a glass of orange juice to his sister and another glass to her.

Here, she blinked with surprise. She hadn't expected him to get something for her as well. Aislinn took the glass and smiled, "Iced tea is perfect." she told him, taking a sip before placing the glass near her plate of food.

“So then, what exactly is on Miss Aislinn’s mind?" Will then asked her, coupled with offering to get her some food and saying how he felt it was rude to have so much food and she not have much. This pretty much confirmed Aislinn's feeling that he probably wouldn't have really asked to get food if she hadn't told him to. But at his question, she shook her head. "No, I'm quite fine. I'm not very hungry at the moment so you can feel free to enjoy your food." She made a small shooing motion with her hand towards his food, giving him a warm smile to show him that she meant what she said.

Eyes strayed as she finished her sentence, noticing how there were now even more people in the room. At least people were actually mingling.. and not just standing around awkwardly and looking uncomfortable. Turning back to the siblings, Aislinn commented, "Don't you kind of wonder who came up with this sort of event? I mean... I suppose it's a good way for people to put themselves out there.. but bidding for a date?" she chuckled; she had signed up for this, even though she thought it was a bit silly.

"It's fine," Rhea sighed a sigh of relief, knowing that she wouldn't have to make anything up to the man in front of her. "Well the offer still stands, you never know when you might need help with something..." did she just say that!? Rhea cursed herself mentally, she was trying to get out of helping someone not being stubborn and keeping it out there. She now knows she has been hanging around Demeter and Simone way too much. She watched as he took a look at her clothing and his face reflect nervousness, she frowned, confused when he quickly directed his gaze to the other lady. She did notice the change he went through, but she won't ask him what was wrong.

"You k-know, you h-have really pretty h-hair." Rhea's face held a look of suprise to it when she heard the other women compliment on her hair. Rhea gave a small smile "Um, thank you." she couldn't help but be happy with the compliment, since it was the very first one she recieved. Back in Italy the Pachino sisters were always looked at weirdly by strangers, because of their unique hair colors so it was nice to have someone think it's pretty. "I assume i-it is your actual h-hair color, no?" Rhea nodded, ""Uh, yes it is" she grabbed the tips of her hair and brought them up to her face. "I was thinking... maybe I should dye it and then I won't have to worry about getting all these crazy looks." she said, looking at a group of people staring at her hair, as if to prove a point.
"Oh, I-I-I'm sorry." Rhea looked away from the group and back at the nice woman infront of her, "Oh it's fine, no need to worry."

<br>
Rhea smiled at their names. "Hello. My name is Rhea. Rhea Pachino." She knows they didn't give their last names, but she feels that she could do that because she liked her name. Well except her middle name. She bowed, a habit that she developed when reading and watching anime back in Italy. Hm... maybe she will see if she can find any manga books here, that would be nice.

"Um, sorry for asking but what is this?" she asked noticing the nametags.

“Ulysses!” Looked up when he heard his name being called, fairly certain that it was him as he had never met another Ulysses yet on the island...sure enough, he quickly spotted Sparrow coming on towards them. Smiling, he turned towards her, noticing she was looking quite pretty this evening. He'd only seen her a few times, though, but he was still thinking that something was looking a little different about her tonight...perhaps the make-up?

“You’re here, too?” Ulysses continued to smile, and nodded. "Indeed, it would appear so." The next thing she said, though, made him look down and blush. “Oh, and you’re up for auction. I might have to bid on you.” Ulysses closed his eyes and raised a hand to scratch at the side of his face, laughing a little nervously. "Well, then I would at least know the person I'd be paired with." He commented, dropping his hand and opening his eyes once more, and glancing from Sparrow to Trey, he suddenly realized that they had not met, right after Sparrow had asked after him.

"This is my Nephew, Trey. Trey, this is Sparrow, a fellow employee from work." Ulysses introduced them, smiling at his nephew. Trey took a step forward and smiled up at Sparrow.

"Hi; nice to meet you." He said, almost going for a handshake then deciding to switch to a wave at the last moment.
