Her bangs are cut just about at her eyebrows, and seem to almost cover her eyes when her hair is wet, or when she hangs her head. More often than not, it is brushed to look at least presentable, but Irene simply doesn't bother with carefully primping her hair in the morning, as most women tend to like to do. The only ways she'll wear her hair without feeling quite uncomfortable are down, or in a crude French braid. Occasionally, she rolls the braid into a bun, to keep it off her neck. This is only usually seen during the span of the Summer season.

Eyes: They are a dark grey hue, on the larger side, and often politely downcast. In contrast to the rest of her face, youthful in appearance as it is, her eyes are different. There is a deep weariness about them, and a sense of maturity that seems advanced beyond her years. When speaking with people, Irene avoids making direct eye contact, and if she does happen to, it usually only lasts for quite a brief moment before her gaze sinks to the ground.

Face: Irene's complexion is smooth, and her skin tone is milky white; Ghostly almost, in a way. Her face is heart shaped, and she has a slight, round jaw which comes down to a rather pointed chin. Her nose is of an average size, though maybe slightly larger than average (a trait she inherited from her father, perhaps), and upturned just a bit. It is long and sharp, accentuating her rather striking features well.

Body: She is very slender, at a height of roughly 5 feet 2 inches, and weighing in at about 107 pounds. Her hips, however, are rather on the wide side, though not too terribly. As for her chest... well, one could say about a 34B, roughly. Her figure is always shrouded in black garments, a long dress with long sleeves and a high collar to match being her preference. Beneath Irene's clothing, the entirety of her back, shoulders, and upper arms are riddled with scars, large and small alike. Around her neck hangs a faded silver necklace with a cross charm hanging from it. She never, ever takes it off.

Scent: Lavander, with a bit of sage.

emotional.

Personality: To be written.

Likes:

She is capable of having civil conversations, though she finds it quite difficult to form bonds with people. Irene generally shies away from loud, obnoxious individuals, finding them to be quite undesirable company. She is a very awkward conversationalist, due to a mash-up of her stuttered speech, her thick accent, and her hesitancy in speaking. However, she remains polite, and extremely formal with everyone, addressing them with their surname and appropriate honorific. She tends to soften up to people she considers closer friends, though, oftentimes still addressing them with 'Mister' or 'Miss', but using their first names in place of their surname.

Romance: It isn't necessarily... easy to win Irene's heart, but it isn't insanely difficult, either. She's a bit wary of men already, and her self image isn't the best. Aside from the fact that Irene doesn't believe anyone would want her in the first place, she is very doubtful of herself when it comes to someone she might fancy. She'd need to feel extremely secure with someone before even considering a relationship with them.
Orientation: Heterosexual.
Marital Status: Single.

[/dohtml] |

She is Irene's mother, who passed away when she was very, very young. Irene misses her terribly, and often wonders if (and hopes that) she is making her proud.

Colette D'leroux F - :orange
For the rather brief time Irene knew her stepmother, she adored her, even though she was not as cheerful or as outgoing as her real mother had been. When her life was taken suddenly by disease, Irene once again felt lost. Colette could never have replaced her own mother, but had a special place in Irene's heart. She truly hopes that her stepmother is in a better place now, and promised to take care of Emily no matter what it cost her.

Emily Praskov'ya F - :red

Ivan Praskov F - / :black
Ivan is Irene's father. He took his mother's maiden name due to bad relations with his own father. Thus, Irene's last name became Praskov'ya, and not Vasilieva. Despite their rocky past, and her intense fear of him, Irene sometimes misses him more than she's comfortable admitting, and wonders if he's changed, at all.

William Goodrick F - R - :green

Abraham Marrow F - R - :white
Irene really didn't care much for the fact that Chris and Abe were trespassing the gravesite at such an hour, let alone the fact that they were there digging up graves for money. However, when she confronted them (as terrified as she was), surprisingly they backed off, even helping to make things right. Irene doesn't know him well enough to make any judgments, but he seemed a whole lot more sorry than the other did, and in fact was the one to bring up the offer of fixing what they had wrought. Irene doesn't even know his name.

Christmas Heikki F - :white
Irene really didn't appreciate the fact that Chris and Abe were trespassing the gravesite at such an hour, let alone the fact that they were there digging up graves for money at all. However, when she confronted them (as terrified as she was), they surprisingly backed off, even helping to make things right. Irene doesn't know her well enough to make a judgement on her character though (even though she was the more snippy of the two), and in fact, doesn't know her name, either.

Helena Tuddenham F - :white
Irene hardly met Helena, and doesn't even know her name. Though, she feels terrible for having bumped into her with the library cart, even more so since the action had appeared to aggravate an already existing wound. Irene would not mind bumping into her again (figuratively, of course), as she seemed like a very kind person, and pleasant company.

"Little" Irene Parker F - :white
This girl shares the same first name with Irene, and she thinks little Irene seems like a very good child. A very good child who has a very cute cat, as well. Though... Irene thinks that the girl should watch her pet more closely, as to keep him out of trouble. But it's not her place to say anything, so she's keeping quiet about it. At least, unless it happens again.

Isolde O'Keeffe F - / :purple
She was an extremely kind woman, with whom Irene enjoyed speaking. She thought Isolde's cat was nice as well. Irene hopes Isolde feels better soon, as she seemed to be rather ill when she happened upon her.

Lian Sung F - / :blue
It was rather refreshing to meet someone so soft spoken and polite. Irene was very happy to talk with Lian, and didn't find it nearly as awkward as when she spoke with most other people. Well, the first ten minutes or so were a bit, ah... interesting. But it did improve. Irene is very fond of her son, as well, thinking him very adorable. She wouldn't mind running into the two again at all.

Leonel Vanhite F - R - :white
When they first met, she found him sitting outside on a bench in the pouring rain. Irene couldn't bring herself to just leave him out there, so she invited him in for a spot of tea. Leonel was very quiet and polite, as well, something Irene appreciated. Not a season after, she found out that they were co-workers at the Zircon library. They didn't really talk all that much, but it was nice to have him around, she guesses. The news of his death quite shocked and pained her, and she took extra care to ensure that his burial went smoothly, though nobody came.

[/dohtml] |
