Fiorella shook her head when he asked her if she had made this gorgeous gown. She had ordered it from a costume store not too far from here, and it was expensive a bit, but really worth it. She added a little detail to it once she had bought it and couldn’t wait to wear it. She also brought the powdered wig from the costume store. It was pretty and looked like sugar. “No, but I added more stuff into it to make it really stand out. I glad you liked it. I wanted to surprise you, and you just did a few moments ago. I’m so happy!” She put her punch down and gave him a surprising hug of happiness. |

Silver Sano's Costume Clink, clank, clink, clank. That was a normal sound by now. Silver fully dressed in knight's armor complete with his decesed father's sword attached to his waist. Silver had waited for days to be able to attend this party. He didn't know many people but dressed as a knight helped his confidance greatly. "Let's do this." wishpered Silver as he stopped in front of the large estate. Silver saw se3veral people had already arrived, which was good since he hated to be first to a party. Silver walked forward and joined the other guests in this halloween blast. ---------------------------------------------- Silver awaiting interactions |

Jim stopped by the refreshments table, blinking as he looked around. He was slightly uncomfortable still but was slowly adjusting to himself being in such a costume. At least, that was until he noticed Fred and Juliet walk onto the scene. He blinked, feeling himself flush slightly upon noticing Fredrick's costume. He looked very handsome. He couldn't say the same for Juliet though. He cringed slightly, though managed a meek smile. That's, uh, a lot of pink.. He wanted to talk with them, he really did, but wasn't sure if he should approach them. He was still feeling kind of awkward, and knew that them seeing him probably wouldn't help. Then again, he realized that hiding from them was kind of childish of him. A small sigh escaping his lips, Jim rubbed at his cheek while making his way over to them, his arm lowering back to his side as he grew nearer. "Uh, hey guys..." Jim smiled slightly. |

Juliet saw him first, as Jim approached, and squealed happily, rushing over to greet him. "Jiiim~! You look great! Oh wooow a wizard~! How cool!!" Her eyes glittered as she grasped hold of Jim's hand, pulling him the rest of the way to Fred. Thrilled that she knew someone there and that he had on such a great costume, Juliet couldn't help but bounce a little as they stopped in front of her cousin. "Doesn't he look great~!?" There was no ulterior motives in asking him this. Nope nope, none at all. If he happened to look closer at Jim and actually be forced to compliment him on his awesome, and slightly sexy outfit, then that was Fred's own doing. Not Juliet's. No prompting was needed however, on Juliet's part, to get Fred to look at Jim's outfit. It stood out to be sure, and was, um, a bit more revealing then Fred had been expecting. Nothing scandelous, but perhaps tighter and showing off more midriff then he was accustomed to seeing Jim in. Blinking, he couls only stare as Juliet practically dragged Jim forward. "Doesn't he look great~!?" Her cheery voice brought him back from the weird state of mind Fred had fallen into, and he nodded dumbly, a light blush on his face. "Oh...um...y-yeah." Looking at Jim's face, he grinned. "Very great. Where'd you get your costume from? I didn't take you for a wiazrd type..." Not that you don't fit the role pretty well. |

Jim felt himself flush, and he let out a small chuckle as Juliet grabbed his hand and started dragging him over. "Thanks Juliet, you look... good yourself." He was kind of hesitant to tell her that he wasn't fond of the overdose of pink, but he didn't want to be rude to Juliet, especially since they'd just recently patched things up. He felt slightly awkward, however, when he sensed someone's eyes on him. Looking up, Jim caught Fred as he glanced up at him. Had he been staring? A small flush crossed Jim's face when he heard Fredrick compliment him and he laughed nervously, feeling his ears heat up and his heart skip a beat. "Huh?" He blinked, glancing down at himself momentarily before looking back over at Fred. "Oh, er, my parents made me this costume. My mom, anyway, my dad made this." Jim motioned toward the staff in his right hand. A small smile crossed over his face as his eyes drifted down Fred's body before looking back at him. "You look good too, Fred." |

Fred felt his face flush as Jim looked him up and down. Coughing he glanced to the side and tugged at the top of his cape. "Yeah well...when don't I look good is the question." He said with a laugh, hoping to dispell any awkwardness. Ever since he had learned of Jim's feelings for him, things hadn't changed too much between them. Though, Fred was now acutely aware of every look, movemet, blush, and touch of Jim's. Which in turn seemed to make him feel a bit nervous. But Jim was still Jim...even in the outfit that Fred seemed to keep staring at. Shaking his head, he turned his attention over to the food table. "Have you been over there, yet, Jimbo? Let's go see what freaky things they have." Briskly he began to march over there, forcing his face to cool down. Juliet watched the two of them with a slight grin, though she did her best to hide it. They were so wonderfully awkward, it reminded her of her dating sim game. Just gotta make sure to pick the right responses~...no save buttons here. She watched as Fred seemed to realize he had been staring at Jim, and then rushed off to the refreshment table. Oh he was so nervous, Juliet was almost sorry for him. Grasping Jim's hand again she followed her cousin. Glancing back at Jim, she smiled gently, "He just needs to get used to the costume." |

"You always look good." Jim smiled, his tone slightly playful. Since having told his feelings, he had been a bit more... comfortable acting a bit more... flirtatious? Though, he wasn't being serious. Okay, so maybe a bit, but he did it more so to bug Fred; his reactions were pretty cute. That smile turning into a small grin, Jim nodded as Juliet dragged him after Fred. "He just needs to get used to the costume." He blinked, raising an eyebrow curiously. "...The costume?" Jim casually glanced down at himself and felt his face redden. He let out a nervous chuckle while looking back up at Juliet, his eyes slightly pleading and embarrassed. "I don't look that...er..." He didn't want to say skimpy or anything, but he had to admit this costume did reveal a bit of skin. Jim trailed off, nervously scratching at his cheek as he followed Juliet. |

Juliet giggled softly. "He's just not used to it is all. Fred gets that way around more revealing clothes. One time, Bec tried to show off her new swimsuit and he nearly busted a blood vessel he went so red~!" Glancing over at her cousin, then back at Jim she grinned. They neared the table, and Juliet stopped beside Fred, letting go of Jim's hand. "But you look great. And don't worry, it's not skimpy...just different then what you usually wear." "What are you going on about, Jules?" Fred asked, stealing a side glance at her, only recieving an innocent look and a giggle. Rolling his eye he huffed loudly. "I'll just ask Jimbo, you know. He'll back me up." Already having a plate, he had begun to pile it up with the weird food items that had been laid out. Looking over at Jim, he grinned. "I'm looking forward to tasting all of these. Like the human fiinnnggerr~!" Waving the finger--a sausage--in Juliet's direction. Squealing she laughed and hid behind Jim. "Ewww~! It was fine until you started waving it around like that!" |

A small sigh escaping his lips, he felt reassured when Juliet told him that his outfit didn't look skimpy. He was glad, and felt that feeling of nervousness lessen, even if only slightly. It's good to know that neither of them seem to look at it in that light. Long as no one else does, I guess the night'll be okay. Stopping, he casually glanced around and realized that they had made it to the food table. He watched, amused, as Fred teased his cousin with the human 'finger'. Jim felt himself cringe a bit, smiling slightly, when Juliet squeeled and hid behind him. He let out a chuckle of his own and shook his head. Stepping away from her, he grabbed a plate and began piling it with food. "I hope it tastes good.." Jim mumbled to himself. He was kind of skeptical from the way the food looked. |

He had been struck dumb, and surely she thought him quite the fool about now. "Oui, I certainly was surprised. I half expected you to be accompanied by an entourage of palace followers."

Then, without much warning, Fiorella had thrown her arms around him in an embrace, which once again shocked Demetrius, for his eyes grew large and his skin hot with perspiration. He gasped a little, his breath falling out his lips and leaving only a surprised noise. Her skirts bustled up against his pressed, flowing pants, her head resting on his turtleneck comfortably. Slowly, cautiously, he wound his arms around her back as well, unsure if this was the right thing to do.

You're happy? he thought, unsure which of them was the most happy, with all the spooks roaming around, exciting the nerves. "I-I'm glad… you're happy, Fiorella," he said shakily, pronouncing her name his favorite way, huffing the consonants and tasting each vowel. He held the embrace for a moment before releasing her--besides, it had been a friendly hug, yes? Nothing too romantic… then why did he tremble when they parted?
-------------
Katania chuckled warmly at the very idea--dating a tail. What would one do, take it to dinner? Order it a cocktail and take it home? But Kat wouldn't mind being the third wheel on those dates. Or any date in general. The girl smirked once more when Dark put two-and-two together, the entire idea behind her costume.

Kat had a thing for clichés. She had lost count of the times she had dressed up as a cat for Halloween, if not just because of her namesake, but the sultry air that it exuberated. She felt his finger cup her chin--a bold move for any man, he must have some experience--and glimmered behind her dark glasses, staring into his indigo irises and purring deeply for effect.

And then the wings visually sprouting from his back quivered and expanded, then folded into themselves as a giant nesting bird might settle onto a perch. Admiring the sight with a cocked head, then reached out and stroked one of the feathered contraptions. It felt real enough to her, as if petting an angel's true wing, as if he could easily flit and fly away into the night just by thinking it.

Katania didn't move her eyes from the wing as she spoke next, grinning and flicking her hand dismissively. "Now that," she snickered, shaking her head slowly. Finally she turned to look at Dark, then slid down her shades enough to look him straight in the eye, and there was danger there, a playful danger that a cat used when hunting its prey, playing with life with its paws. "Is one secret I won't reveal ever, dahling," she drawled, then readjusted her makeshift-eyemask and ceased stroking the wing. True, the fact that her actual hair was once yellow-gold could never be revealed to the world, not even a man. Just one more thing to make her just a little more mysterious.

[/dohtml] |

April and Jake's Costumes Well, this was going to be interesting. The brother and sister weren't quite sure what they were dressed up as, but they figured it was halloweeny enough for them. April didn't feel the least bit concerned with what she was wearing, it was art work. Earlier they had taken some photo's together. "We should start an photography studio," April mentioned to her brother earlier. He seemed to be interested in the idea, but they would have to wait until winter to talk it out. Both were busy with other projects. "I can't believe I'm not wearing a shirt," Jake muttered to his sister, blushing a little as the entered the party. Jake was a very shy boy, but April had insisted that a shirt ruined the whole look. Besides, he shouldn't be ashamed of his body at all. April had also insisted that they both dye their hair for the night, but the handcuffs were optional. In fact, each of them had their handcuffs uselessly chained to one arm, not both together. Alas, Jake was still feeling quite self conscious. April tugged at her brother's arm lovingly. "Don't worry about it," she said softly. "Everyone here is dressed up, this isn't really you, remember?" "Says you, we're here to meet people... who's going to want to meet me shirtless?" April had a lot of responses to that, but decided to with hold them from the open air. She sighed, and grabbed his hand. "Come on, Jake, let's go get some punch." |

It was odd how entertaining it was, seeing the same villagers who were usually busy harvesting crops or scurrying around the market, dressed up as they were. She couldn’t help scanning the crowd, staring at the elaborate outfits that transformed these ordinary islanders into beings of fantasy. She had caught glimpse of a Victorian woman, an angle with mechanical wings, a knight in shinning armor, and a leather clad wizard? Really it was all too amusing… and for this fact alone she was pleased with her decision to come to such an event. Ella had doubted that she would be able to partake in tonight activities because, well a costume was required and the financial situation she was in didn’t really warrant her running off and purchasing an outfit to dress up. Still, being creative and working with the clothes from her luggage she had managed to take on the persona of…… A German Beer Girl. All of the desired identities had been pretty obvious up to this point except for the pair who was standing by the punch bowls. The lean male was shirtless and the girl was in a tight black long-sleeved number. Both had silver hair, eye patches, and handcuffs? She really couldn’t wrap her head around what the pair had went as, so she made her way over thinking it would be easier to just ask rather than stare in confusion. She reached the table and poured herself some punch, turning towards the two while wearing a slight smirk, “And what are you guys supposed to be?…. Pirate criminals?” |

Whether he liked it or not, he was a member of this island, and he was determined that he would attend as many of the events as he possibly could, including those that would embarrass him ridiculously. This just...happened to be one of those events that would, unfortunately.

He stepped into the estate rather tentatively, looking around with wide eyes as he did so. He's never been inside this building, and right now it looked particularly splendid, to be sure. Now then, he could only hope that he'd run into people that he at least knew a wee bit. Otherwise, he was in trouble for the entirety of the night, and he knew that quite well.

William was dressed, to put it bluntly, as a musketeer. Unfortunately, it came off as him looking very much like a fop instead, but...oh, whatever, really. He wore a white, rather fluffy shirt, one with ruffles on the end of the long, poofy sleeves and down the front of it, where it finally closed around the middle of his chest. Luckily, that rather embarrassing detail was covered by a very dark green vest that he wore, one that had a golden ankh stitched onto it. His pants were black and also a bit wide, though that was mostly due to his fast metabolism more than anything, and they were tucked into a pair of black boots that covered most of his calves. A fake sword was hanging from one of his boot loops, and a wide-brimmed black hat sat on his head, with a long feather extending from it.

For once, William decided to go without his glasses, as they didn't complete the outfit very well at all, but unfortunately, it also left him as blind as a bat. Well. That was embarrassing, to be sure. Because of his, he spent most of his time walking with a hand jutted out slightly to his side while the other rested on his hip in a way that might have been taken as commanding and attractive if the rather worried expression on his face hadn't been there. Somehow, however, William managed to make his way to the punch table, where he was eternally grateful that the glasses were already poured. He picked one up and leaned slightly against the table, pretending that he could actually see around the room. Smooth, William. Smooooooth.

[/dohtml] |

Just as she quickly descended into illness earlier in that season, she had just as quickly risen from it in only three days, and even though Peter was very hesitant to let Freya go out for the night, she'd been insistent. After all, he had a date. He might as well let Freya come along as well, especially since she'd have this costume planned out for some time. Not even that, but Freya and Peter had several conversations over the past few coherent days, and Freya had all but decided that she was going to get an apartment at the still new Bluebird Gateway, so that Peter could stop worrying about her health. There at least she'd have neighbors who could check in on her. Not only that, but Freya was now strongly considering opening a stall in the bazaar early in the Winter that would allow her to make her own living. Yes, this was certainly exciting, and she was almost certain that her brother would be her first customer.

With that all out of mind, Peter trailed off somewhere behind her with his date, a lovely girl named Asa that Freya hadn't had much of an opportunity to get to know yet. She was all right with that. She had to admit that part of her protective and maternal personality hated the idea of Peter having any sort of romantic attraction to anyone, and especially hated the idea of a girl having an attraction to him, but at the same time, she knew she needed to deal with it. After all, Peter had had the same reaction when Freya mentioned that nice Cole man she'd met and spent much of a day with in retaliation before she'd grown ill.

Goodness, Freya, but who are you turning into? She had no idea, really, but she also knew that this wasn't the night to ponder. As Freya arrived on the lawn, she smiled shyly, looking around at the general splendor. It was lovely, to be sure. At the same time, somehow she knew that she was as well. Her costume was very simple and rather nondescript, though it meant a great deal to Freya. She wore a long, simple red skirt made of a coarse material, as well as a white shirt with frills about the collar and the sleeves, with each short sleeve ending in ruffles. She wore a corset-style vest as well, one that Peter had laced up particularly well, that emphasized her curvy bust and hips while also vaguely taking in her curvy stomach. A green headband held back her long bangs, as well as the rest of her pink hair, and a brown basket of Gerbera daisies hung from her wrist.

Perhaps it was a bit selfish, yes, but Freya did want something that would help her advertise her new upcoming seed stall, if she managed to bite back her shyness enough to talk to people about it.

Freya stepped carefully about on the grass, her black slippers and white tights hiding her feet from its itchy texture, glancing about again with her wide hazel eyes. Now then...was there anyone here that she knew?

((William Goodrick awaiting interaction))

[/dohtml] |

"Oh, look at her," April stated. The brother and sisters had been sipping on punch, and looking at the costumes around them. They were enjoying themselves, and Jake was starting to become comfortable with himself. No one was paying attention to him, except his sister, so it didn't matter. Until then. The girl that April was pointing at was wearing a rather cute costume. Their's was more artsy than scary or cute; it's how they did things. Of course April's so obsessed with that Wyatt guy, she doesn't even care if anyone else is looking at her tonight... Jake thought. This... beer girl?... was heading straight for them. "Why am I doing this?" He muttered to himself. A rhetorical question. "You're doing it to meet people, now be friendly." April scolded him. Pirate Criminals? They both turned the thought over in their minds. April thought her brother needed to be more social, so she jabbed him with her elbow discreetly. "Oh, uh, sorta," Jake blushed, but smiled at the cute girl. He rubbed the back of his neck, but decided that the arm over his head revealed too much skin... whatever sense that made. He immediately pulled his arm back down. "More like space criminals," April rescued him, rolling her eyes, not at the girl. "You're outfit is cute though!" She elbowed him again. "Uh, yeah!" he piped up. It's not be tonight. I don't have to be quiet... ahh... so uncomfortable. "Very cute! Would you like some punch?" Good brother, April smiled at him. |
