Following a few days of rumors, Nintendo has finally announced (officially) the newest DSi: the DSi XL. The system will release in Japan this fall and will hit stores in North America and Europe sometime in early 2010. So what exactly does the new DSi offer? The new DSi offers a bigger, 4.2 inch screen, a thicker system, a longer stylus, and longer battery life by 1-3 hours. The DSi XL also comes with pre-installed DSi software. This will all be made avaliable for about $220 in US dollars, about $40 more than the DSi. It is unknown if the original DSi will be discontinued. Pictures of the newest DSi can be found below, which will release to Japan in Dark Brown, Wine Red, and Natural White. No other regions have had colors announced just yet. PANTS!

Whoosh, those are some random starting colours. O.o; And I laughed at the interior comparison because of the japanese symbols. I never imagined they have to draw them all for stuff liek pictochat. - I'd get so annoyed with all the detachtched random flicky bits |

My vagina has wildly spinning rotors. I blend bananas with their might. My wives are displeased with the mess they make. And they keep the neighbours up at night. But they are my vagina rotors. And they're a little bit of alright. | |

You would probably have to have a fanny-pack to carry this monster around. Heck, it probably comes packaged with one. |

The One Who Likes Potatoes - rly. :>

It's funny how I noticed how big the stylus was before looking at the XL DSi itself. ._. Does it come with a small and big stylus? Also: Where does the big one even insert into the DS? |

That's what I'm wondering. Unless the big stylus doesn't insert into the DSi. |

PACKAGED WITH FANNY!
I laughed for an entirely innuendo reason. (same with both GA and bbjj) My stylus is a plastic yellow crayola colouring crayon. It dun fit in the DS but it looks vaguely sexual. |
