"October 26, 2009 - A new Nintendo DSi with a larger screen will be available by year's end in Japan, reports website Nikkei (subscription required). The report states the screen will now be close to the size of Sony's PSP, nearly double that of the current DSi screen area. This will not only allow for higher display of graphics and text, but possibly new applications as well, such as reading electronic books and watching video. The new DSi will be priced at 18,900 yen ($205 USD), the same as the current model at retailers. The report states Nintendo is considering releasing the new DSi overseas." well it appears like i might be waiting a bit longer to get a dsi |

This DSi is gigantic. Seriously, take a look at the measurements and get a ruler out. It's giant. It's thinner than the DS Lite, but so huge otherwise. It would be like carrying a game/DVD case in your pocket. |

As in they are brain farting NEW ideas. I figure anything with the name DS making part of it is exactly the same console games wise. - And with that logic it's been a long time since a new handheld was made, and as far as I can see there is no plans to make a new handheld. |
