Weapon Creation The Weapon creation system is VERY simple. You simply go to a Black smith and fill out a description of what you want your Weapon to be. The form will look similar to this. Name: (What you Call it) Description: (What it looks like) Weight: (Light, Medium, Heavy) Type: (Wood, Tin, Copper, Bronze, Iron, Steel, Adamantium, Mithril, Obsidian, or Damien.) Now, each thing you want for it, will effect the price. But note, no normal black smith can make enchanted weaponry. Material Prices Choose a material you wish to have your weapon made of. Each advancement will cost you a bit more. Certain types are not available for him to create for you and the material MUST be quested for. YOU still have to pay the amount stated for the pure fact that it is harder to work that metal. Please note that these prices are for Terra and that the prices may be higher or lower in Hidden Villages. Wood- +50 Yen Tin- +100 Yen Copper- +150 Yen Bronze- +200 Yen Iron- +250 Yen Steel- +300 Yen Adamantium - +500 Yen (Unavailable) Mithril - +800 Yen (Unavailable) Obsidian- +1,200 Yen (Unavailable) Damien- +1,600 Yen (Unavailable) That is the cost for Material, now for extra or compounded material will cost you extra. If you want just a normal weapon that isn't to fast or slow, it will cost you nothing extra. Please Note that Projectile weaponry such as Kunai or Throwing Stars are bought separately and are not made here unless requested for a special type of material or weight. If projectiles are purchased then they come in rations depending on weight. Five if light, three if medium and one if heavy. Light- +100 Yen Medium- +00 Yen Heavy- +150 Yen Blacksmiths can also make armor for you, and you just simply fill out the same application, and follow the same pricing and rules for it as the Weapon system. You can wear as much armor as you are able to. |

In this system, each material has a set strength and durability, however those only go so far. What really makes the difference is the strength behind the person as well, as while the material is limited, the person isn’t. So a weak person with a powerful weapon could match swords with someone who is strong but has a very weak weapon. It just depends on how you play it. Durability Each weapon has a durability depending on the material it is made out of. That is the maximum punishment it can take. If something exceeds that in an attack, the weapon will break. Now it takes more than just one attack a few points over the durability, however if it is high enough, it can break in one attack. So what stops weapons from being broken left and right? Because not only is it the material of the weapon that affects how long it lasts but your skill. Weapon skill has little to do with attacking in a damage sense, however in the sense of parrying correctly, the stronger of a swordsman you are, the longer your sword will last. So a weapon’s durability is (Material Durability + Weapon Skill). It’s as simple as that. And remember, going 1 or 2 over the durability, unless it is done over and over, won’t destroy it. Damage When you fight with a weapon, two things come in to play. The damaging effect of the material and how strong you are .The higher your strength is, the more damage you will do and the more powerful the material is, the more damage you will do. That is to say that smacking someone with a wooden stick will hurt a lot less than smacking them with an iron pole. So weapon skill has nothing to do with the raw attack power, though it does have to do with how well you use it and how well you can find openings. For raw attack power, you get (Material Strength + User’s Strength). However when using a weapon jutsu that relies more heavily on your skill, Weapon skill comes in to play depending on the type of skill. Broken Weapon If and when a weapon is broken... It’s fixed once the thread’s over. Weapons are guaranteed for life. Isn’t that handy? Speed Drop When using a weapon or a piece of armor, speed drops depending on the weight and the material. This only affects speed, not intonjutsu. However your intonjutsu, how manuverable you are, is limited directly by your armor skill. So as long as your armor skill is higher than your intonjutsu, you can move around properly in armor. So if your intonjutsu is 25 and your armor is only 15, it is as if you only have 15 Intonjutsu. That is because no matter how maneuverable you are, it takes skill to use that maneuverability in armor. Until armor skill and intonjutsu are equal, intonjutsu lowers just like speed does, however once they are equal that no longer occurs. |
