The camera fades in to show a sold out arena full of fans. Some have signs supporting their favorite wrestler such as: "Bring back Tommy, bring back Ted" "Maksimilian goes to the Max" "F.A.G. Pride" as well as several reading "Razzle Dazzle".

Sam
Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Vindication brought to you by New Era Wrestling. We are live from the Sleep Trade Arena in Sacramento, California, and these fans are excited for our biggest event of the year.

Lana
We have a couple of grudge matches, a couple of title matches, and from what I hear, we've got a special announcement that will be made later tonight.

Mac
For the love of god, it isn't that you are pregnant again is it Lana!?

Lana
No, I mean, I don't think so. I mean, maybe, anything is possible.

Sam
Wait, what do you mean anything is possible, how do you not know if you are pregnant or not?

Lana
I can't be expected to remember things like how many guys I've slept with, or when my last period was.

Mac
You are seriously one messed up skank Lana. I can't imagine how this opening could get any worse.

Last Train to Awesometown hits the speakers, the fans jump to their feet, and the World Heavyweight Champion emerges on the scene.

Mac
I just had to open my big mouth.

Lana
Hey don't be such a downer Mac, it's the world champ.

Sam
Best thing going today.

The champ seems pretty excited, high fiving as many fans as he can on his way to the ring. He slides into the ring, climbs up one of the turnbuckles, and raises his world title. He drops down, and heads to the three remaining corner each time raising his title and posing for the crowd.

Mac
Enjoy that while you can Romeo, tonight your championship reign comes to an end.

Sam
You mean tonight he brings the Razzle Dazzle and gets one step closer to breaking the record for longest reigning world champion.

Lana
Every show you two are like this, I wish you would just go get a room or find a closet and get this sexual tension over with already.

Sam and Mac
Gross.

Romeo is handed a microphone, and he takes center stage with every camera focused on him.

Romeo Stylez
Ladies and gentlemen, bros and sistas, dudes and chicks, welcome to Vindication!

The fans all dance like puppets and cheer as Romeo hypes the up the show.

Romeo Stylez
Tonight we are going to put on a show you will all remember for the rest of your lives. We have some good matches like Diet Romeo Stylez, Kidd Love taking on wanna be best in New Era Purity Solanas. All jokes aside that is going to be a damned good match between two damned good wrestlers.

Lana
Who does he think he is mocking my bestfriend Purity!

Sam
Best friend? Really? I think you are overselling your relationship with Purity a little Lana/

Mac
If you love Purity so much why don't you marry her? No, like seriously, that would be kinda hot.

Meanwhile inside the ring.

Romeo Stylez
We even have a few title matches tonight. Maksimilian looks to defend the North American Championship, and Robbie Priest will try his best to defend his Television Championship. Regardless of who walks out the winner of those matches, I promise you whoever holds those titles will be great. Thing is, some people are good, some people are great, but there can only be one best. Ladies and gentlemen tonight I will prove just exactly who the BEST wrestler in New Era Wrestling is. More than that, being as New Era Wrestling is the best wrestling organization going today, by the end of the night you will all know without a doubt who the best wrestler in the entire world is. But just for the fun of it, why don't you all here in Sacramento, California tell the people watching at home who you believe the best thing going today is?"

On cue, the fans chant the champs name.

Fans
Ro-Me-O! Ro-Me-O! Ro-Me-O!"

Mac
I hate this guy.

Sam
I love this guy.

Lana
I would love this guy, but Purity told me not to. Which is a shame, from what I hear Romeo is way overdue for a good shag, and I'm just the girl to give it to him.

Back to the ring.

Romeo Stylez
Well then I suppose there is only one more thing to say before this show gets underway.

Before the champ can finish his sentence, Accidents by Alexisonfire begins to play, as the owner of New Era Wrestling, Travis Blaine, makes his way to the ring.

Sam
here comes the boss.

Mac
What the hell for?

Lana
I told you guys, I heard there is gonna be a huge announcement tonight.

Travis makes a beeline to the ring, and once he enters he asks for a microphone. But not just any microphone, he asks, for Romeo's microphone. The champ argues for a moment, then reluctantly hands the microphone over.

Travis Blaine
Thank you Champ, excellent job hyping up the crowd as always.

Romeo rolls his eyes, as Travis turns his attention to the crowd.

Travis Blaine
And you people should be hyped, you should be excited, because tonight you will all be a part of history. I believe tonight is going to be the one night out of all the others that will be talked about for generations to come. You see I have a huge announcement to make.

Lana
I told you guys.

Sam
I can't believe Lana actually had some legitimate inside information.

Mac
Seriously Lana, who did you have to suck off to get the heads up?

Travis Blaine
Ladies and gentlemen, at the end of tonight you'll witness the champion here Romeo Stylez, defending his title against New Era Original, Disturbed. I wanted to come out here and fill you all in, that in the event Romeo loses tonight, he will not be getting a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Romeo can't believe it, as he can be heard arguing with the boss.

Mac
I don't say this often, but brilliant decision by Travis Blaine.

Sam
That doesn't make any sense. Romeo has been a fighting champion since he won it back from Eric Donavan.

Lana
I think the boss has more to say.

Lana is once again correct, as Travis Blaine holds his hand up, trying to shush Romeo long enough to explain.

Travis Blaine
Listen, I get the confusion, let me clarify. In the event that Disturbed loses, he won't be getting another shot at the World Championship either. In fact, at the end of tonight nobody else will ever get a shot at the New Era Wrestling World Championship, because immediately after tonight's show, New Era Wrestling no more.

Sam and Mac and Lana
WHAT!?

The entire arena, all commentators, and Romeo Stylez himself all seem stunned into silence.

Travis Blaine
I'm not going to point fingers, or play the blame game. When I regained control of New Era Wrestling from Randy Altzer, things were a mess. Truth be told though, this ship has been sinking since I walked away after losing Marc, the man you all know as Outkast. There was no one instance that caused this outcome, a number of incidents have taken it's toll on this company as a whole, and I've spent too much time sitting on the sidelines watching the place I love slowly die. So tonight will be it's last. All I ask, is that those in the back give it there all, and let this place go out the way it should, in a blaze of passion and glory.

Travis drops the microphone, and heads to the back, as Romeo is stuck frozen in the ring.

Mac
I can't believe it.

Lana
I knew there was going to be news, but I don't think anyone was prepared for this.

Sam
It's been a great run. Let's do this show like it ought to be done, with dignity and grace.

Television Championship Number One Contender Open Invitational

We return from a word from our sponsors with all six wrestlers at ringside ready to compete in the battle royal. Hawk Nelson and Jeff LaRue are inside the ring as Tommy Zeller, Marcy LaRue, Nightmare and Mark Jones are outside of the ring. Penny Lane stands up to make an announcement.

Penny Lane
I have just been informed that the following match will no longer be an over the top rope battle royal. Instead these six individuals will compete in an elimination 6-pack match!

Sam
Now there’s an announcement.

Mac
Let’s do this thing!

The bell rings and Marcy LaRue and Zeller start going at it on the outside of the ring and Tommy shoves Marcy into Mark Jones as Nightmare makes his way over to the battle. Marcy and Jones are going punch for punch as Nightmare and Zeller also battle on the outside of the ring as Hawk Nelson and Jeff LaRue wage war inside the ring. Mark Jones has Marcy up against the guardrail and is wailing on her while Zeller rams Nightmare’s face into the steel steps. Jeff LaRue runs at Hawk Nelson and gets back body dropped to the outside.

Sam
This one is starting out quick.

Mac
I love this Sam!

Hawk Nelson grabs Jeff LaRue by his head and grinds his face into the ring floor as Nightmare counters an Irish whip and sends Zeller into the steel steps! Marcy ducks under a haymaker from Jones then takes him down with a clothesline. Marcy is putting the boots to Jones as Hawk Nelson takes Jeff LaRue down with a back suplex on the floor. Marcy gets Jones up, rolls him into the ring then gets back into the ring herself.

Lana
Hawk Nelson cracks Jeff LaRue’s back on the floor!

Sam
Finally someone is inside the ring.

Hawk Nelson picks up Jeff LaRue in a fireman’s carry, but Jeff LaRue slips out the back and takes Hawk Nelson down with a reverse DDT. Jones ducks a clothesline from Marcy and begins to work her over in the corner. Jones whips Marcy into the opposite turnbuckles then runs in and crushes Marcy with a clothesline up against the turnbuckles. Jeff LaRue locks Hawk Nelson in chokehold as Nightmare nails an evenflow DDT on Zeller. Inside the ring, Mark Jones takes Marcy down with a sidewalk slam and makes the cover.

1...

2...

Sam
Marcy kicks out!

Mac
Huge impact on that sidewalk slam.

Jones gets Marcy up and body slams her near the ropes. Mark Jones gets out of the ring and pulls Marcy’s head so it’s sticking out of the ring. Jones takes a few steps back, runs and hits a nasty knee lift to the back of Marcy’s head as Jeff LaRue releases Hawk Nelson and rolls him into the ring. Nightmare has Zeller set up and slingshots Tommy into the ring post!

Lana
Zeller goes face first into the steel!

Sam
Nightmare really launched him there.

Jeff LaRue goes to whip Hawk Nelson into the ropes, but Nelson reverses the momentum and fires Jeff into the ropes. Jeff ducks under a big boot, grabs Hawk Nelson by his head, plants him with a running bulldog and makes the cover.

1...

2...

Sam
Hawk Nelson kicks out!

Mac
Jeff LaRue slammed Hawk Nelson’s face into the mat hard!

Jones pulls Marcy outside the ring and goes to slam her into the ring steps, but Marcy blocks it, elbows Jones in the gut and slams his face into the steps over and over and over and over and over again. Zeller hits a heavy knee to Nightmare’s gut and backs up. Zeller charges in at Nightmare and nails him with a running uppercut. Jeff LaRue follows Hawk Nelson to the outside and gets met with a thumb to the eye. Hawk Nelson lifts Jeff LaRue and slams him down hard on the floor like a rag doll with a dominator!

Lana
Hawk Nelson is so powerful Mac!

Mac
Did you see Zeller nearly take off Nightmare’s head?!

Zeller rolls Nightmare into the ring as Hawk Nelson gets Jeff LaRue up and slams his face onto the steel steps. Marcy lifts Mark Jones up and drops him hard onto the floor with a spinebuster. Inside the ring, Nightmare ducks a punch and nails Tommy with a heel kick. He gets Zeller up and whips him into the ropes. Nightmare goes for a clothesline, but Zeller counters with a gargoyle suplex and makes the cover.

1...

2...

Mac
Nightmare kicks out!

Sam
That was a great counter by Tommy Zeller.

Marcy makes her way over to Jeff LaRue as Hawk Nelson gets Jones up and slams his face onto the ring apron. Marcy whips Jeff LaRue back into the ring as Jones blocks a punch from Hawk Nelson, strikes him with a headbutt then body slams him onto a section of steel stairs. Inside the ring, Nightmare goes for a shoot kick, but Tommy counters with a capture suplex and makes the cover.

1...

2...

Mac
Nightmare kicks out again!

Sam
That was another suplex counter by Tommy Zeller.

Lana
He’s looking great tonight.

Marcy gets Jeff LaRue back up to his feet to see if he’s ok as Zeller gets Nightmare into a corner and is hitting him with stiff knife edge chops. Zeller goes to whip Gavin into the ropes, but Nightmare reverses the momentum, pulls Zeller into him, nails a Fever Dream (cravate kick into a double knee facebuster) and makes the cover.

1...

2...

Zeller kicks out. Nightmare grabs hold of one of Zeller’s legs and pulls him towards the turnbuckles. Nightmare gets out of the ring, pulls Zeller so his legs are on either side of the ring post and slams Tommy’s leg against the post as Marcy and Jeff compete in a lock up, which Marcy wins ad traps Jeff in a cradle cover.

1...

2...

Sam
Jeff LaRue kicks out!

Mac
Nightmare has slammed both of Zeller’s legs against the ring post.

Lana
Wise move weakening Zeller’s legs so he can’t leap off the top ropes.

Mark Jones has opened up Hawk Nelson after grinding his face into the steel guardrail then slamming his face onto the steel steps. Marcy lifts Jeff LaRue up into a fireman’s carry, but he swings out of it taking Marcy down with a DDT and makes the cover.

1...

2...

Marcy LaRue kicks out! Jeff LaRue gets Marcy up and Marcy breaks Jeff’s grasp and tosses him out of the ring near Nightmare. Marcy gets out of the ring and clotheslines Mark Jones in the back of the head taking him down. Nightmare hits a knee drop on Jeff LaRue as Zeller rolls to the outside. Marcy has Mark Jones set up for a t-bone suplex, but Jones clubs Marcy and takes her down with a big boot. Zeller is back up, spins Nightmare around and takes him down with the a short-arm clothesline. Hawk Nelson gets Jeff LaRue back up and drills him with several headbutts.

Mac
Finally Hawk Nelson is using his head.

Lana
Tommy Zeller and Nightmare are really going after each other tonight.

Mark Jones gets Marcy into the ring as Hawk Nelson reverses a whip from Jeff LaRue and sends him into the railing. Mark Jones now turns his attention to Nightmare and begins to batter him as Marcy gets up, runs off the ropes and nails a baseball slide on Hawk Nelson taking him down. Jones drops Nightmare on the floor then goes back over to Marcy as Jeff LaRue jumps up on Hawk Nelson back for a sleeper.

Mac
These wrestlers will be changed after tonight’s match.

Sam
You’re right Mac. That cell is so unforgiving.

Zeller gets Nightmare up and grinds his face on the concrete floor. Tommy pulls him back and tosses Nightmare into the side of the announce table. Hawk Nelson runs backwards and crushes Jeff LaRue into the edge of the rng as Marcy LaRue takes Jones down with an atomic drop. Hawk Nelson rolls into the ring and as Tommy gets back into the ring Hawk Nelson drops a leg across the back of his head. Hawk Nelson waits from Nightmare to get back to his feet. When he does, Hawk Nelson lifts him into a fireman’s carry, but Gavin slips out of it, nails a snap DDT and makes the cover.

1...

2...

Hawk Nelson kicks out! Jeff LaRue is back in the ring and greets Nightmare with some right hands. Jeff LaRue takes Gavin down with a hip toss powerbomb and makes the cover.

1...

2...

Nightmare kicks out! Marcy is back inside the ring and nails Hawk Nelson with The Knockout Blow (pedigree) and makes the cover.

1...

2...

3!

Penny Lane
Hawk Nelson has been eliminated!

Sam
We have our first elimination.

Mac
Hawk Nelson put up the best effort he could, but it wasn’t enough against these five megastars.

Mark Jones grabs Marcy by her feet and pulls her out of the ring as Tommy Zeller gets back into the ring. Zeller goes for a superkick on Nightmare, but Gavin ducks and Zeller obliterates Jeff LaRue with the kick. Nightmare clotheslines Zeller out of the ring and gets Jeff LaRue up in the turnbuckles. Nightmare backs up, runs at Jeff LaRue and nails the Driver’s Side Impact! (step-up enziguiri) and makes the cover.

1...

2...

3!

Penny Lane
Jeff LaRue has been eliminated!

Sam
WOW! Our second elimination!

Mac
Down to four now.

Lana
This one is heating up.

Everyone is back in the ring and Nightmare gains the upper hand on Tommy Zeller taking him into the turnbucklse as Marcy LaRue takes Jones to the opposite turnbuckle. Nightmare and Marcy LaRue look at each other and irish whip Jones and Zeller into each other. They hit each other then stumble past each other. Nightmare takes Jones down with a spin kick as Marcy LaRue takes Tommy down with a clothesline. Nightmare and Marcy pick up Zeller and give him a double suplex. Jones is back up and is brought right back down with a double flapjack from Nightmare and Marcy LaRue.

Sam
Nightmare and Marcy are working well together in the late stages of the match.

Mac
It won’t last.

Lana
Good strategy though.

Jones has rolled to the outside and Nightmare follows as Marcy LaRue locks a sleeper hold on Tommy Zeller. Nightmare scoop slams Jones onto the floor and follows up with a leg drop. Tommy Zeller has broken the sleeper hold and is standing against the ropes. Marcy LaRue runs at Tommy Zeller and is back body dropped to the outside onto Nightmare and Jones. Tommy Zeller climbs to the tope ropes and waits for his opponents to get up. When they do he dives off the top ropes onto them with a somersault plancha. All four wrestlers are down .

Sam
Tommy takes everyone out.

Mac
Took himself out in the process.

Tommy Zeller rolls Jones back into the ring and makes the cover.

1…

2…

Marc Jones kicks out! Nightmare is looking under the ring for something and finds a Singapore cane. Nightmare gets back into the ring with it and gets drop toe held by Jones. Marcy LaRue has Tommy Zeller in a tree of woe and begins to choke him with her boot. Nightmare gets back up, ducks a clothesline from Jones and hits a reverse DDT on him and makes the cover.

1…

2…

Again Marc Jones kicks out.

Mac
Marc Jones is hanging tough.

Lana
We’ll see if he can keep it up

As Marcy LaRue goes back to Tommy Zeller she is clotheslined in the back by Nightmare sending her into the turnbuckles. Nightmare begins to knee Marcy in the corner. He backs up and runs at her with a clothesline. Nightmare lifts Marcy LaRue up on the top turnbuckle and follows her up setting her up for a superplex. Marcy head butt’s Nightmare and shoves him off the top turnbuckles. Tommy Zeller and Nightmare get up at the same time and are double cross bodied by Marcy LaRue.

Sam
This is a very fast paced match.

Mac
They better slow down or they will run out of energy in this elimination match.

Marcy LaRue clotheslines Nightmare out of ring as Jones hits a powerslam on Tommy Zeller and makes the cover.

1…

2…

Zeller kicks out. On the outside Marcy LaRue locks in a dragon sleeper on Nightmare. Jones has Tommy Zeller on his shoulders in fireman’s carry position and takes him down with a Samoan drop. He waits for Tommy to get back up, runs at him and leaps up on him for a hurricanrana, but Zeller counters with a high impact sit-down powerbomb! Tommy climbs to the top and crushes Marc Jones with a Bearly Legal (5 star frog splash) and makes the cover.

1…

2…

3!

Penny Lane
Mark Jones has been eliminated!

Sam
That’s all she wrote for Marc Jones tonight.

Mac
That was a great reversal by Tommy Zeller setting up Bearly Legal.

Lana
And it was ggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!

Mac
Tony was a tiger not a bear you idiot.

Tommy Zeller breaks the dragon sleeper that the Marcy has Nightmare in. He tosses Marcy LaRue back into the ring and follows her in. He lifts Marcy LaRue over his head and brings her down with a northern lights suplex with a bridge.

1…

2…

Sam
Marcy LaRue gets the shoulder up.

Mac
Tommy Zeller almost eliminated another superstar from this match.

As Tommy Zeller gets up he is taken back down from a Nightmare spinning heel kick. Nightmare positions himself behind the Marcy LaRue and cocks his fist back for a haymaker, but Nightmare gets caught in a school boy by Tommy Zeller.

1…

2…

Nightmare rolls out of it. Both men are up and are exchanging lefts and rights. Nightmare ducks a punch from Tommy Zeller and gives him a german suplex. Nightmare takes Tommy and places his head between his legs and double underhook’s his arms. Tommy escapes the hold and back body drops Nightmare. He takes Nightmare and sets him up for a cutter, but Nightmare reverses it into a swinging neckbreaker.

Sam
Nightmare with a great counter.

Mac
Zeller is in trouble here.

Marcy LaRue is back up and again locks Nightmare in a dragon sleeper. The referee is right in Nightmare’s face asking him if he submits. Nightmare yells right in the referee’s face that the answer is “no”. Marcy LaRue has her legs wrapped around Nightmare and is on her back with a shoulder off the mat really applying some pressure. Tommy Zeller is back up and covers both superstars at once.

1…

2…

Marcy LaRue breaks the dragon sleeper to roll out of the count, which ends the count on Nightmare as well.

Sam
A wise move by Tommy Zeller trying to take advantage of the situation.

Lana
But Marcy was aware enough to not let that happen.

Marcy LaRue gets up and runs at Tommy Zeller only to receive a powerslam. Tommy picks up a fallen Nightmare and tosses him out of the ring and goes back to work on Marcy LaRue. He gets him off the mat and picks him up for a spinebuster. He runs with Marcy and plants her in the centre of the ring. Tommy climbs to the top turnbuckles, but Nightmare is on the apron and shakes the ropes causing Tommy Zeller to get crotched on the top turnbuckle.

Sam
OUCH! That has got to hurt.

Mac
Indeed. I know how it feels.

Marcy LaRue gets up and sees Tommy Zeller in a precarious position. Marcy runs towards Zeller, runs up the turnbuckles and drills Tommy with a nasty knee to his skull!

Sam
OH SHIT!

Mac
Can anyone see Zeller’s head?

Zeller slumps down to the mat and Marcy makes the cover.

1…

2…

3!

Penny Lane
Tommy Zeller has been eliminated from the match!

Mac
We are down to two.

Lana
The veteran versus the rookie.

Sam
Here... we... go!

Nightmare and Marcy LaRue meet face to face in the ring and talk smack to one another. Finally the fireworks begin and both superstars are swinging closed fists at each other. Marcy sees an opening to take Nightmare down with a haymaker. Nightmare gets right back up and is taken back down with a
Stunner! Marcy makes the cover.

1…

2…

Sam
Nightmare kicks out.

Mac
Marcy almost had Nightmare there.

Lana
That would’ve been a huge upset!

Marcy LaRue whips Nightmare into the ropes. Nightmare ducks a clothesline and fires back at Marcy with a flying lariat. He waits for Marcy to get back up and runs her down with a clothesline. Marcy gets up and gets hit with a sky high powerbomb from Nightmare.

Mac
They still have a lot of energy left.

Sam
Nightmare is on fire here.

He picks Marcy up and tosses her into the turnbuckles. He runs at her with a knee then reaches down to grab the Singapore cane that was earlier brought into the ring. Gavin takes a swing at Marcy, but she ducks and the cane hits the ropes, bounces back and drills Nightmare in face. Marcy goes to whip Gavin into the ropes, but Gavin reverses it sending Marcy into the referee and crushing him into the turnbuckles.

Sam
And there goes the referee.

Mac
Nightmare did that on purpose

Lana
I don’t think so.

Nightmare gets the cane and hits Marcy LaRue over the head with it. He rolls it to the outside and stomps on a downed Marcy who is now bleeding. Nightmare poses for the crowd who gives him a mixed reaction. He picks up Marcy LaRue up, kicks her in the gut, then delivers a spiked piledriver and makes the cover.

Sam
HE SPIKED HER!

Mac
Too bad that the referee is down.

Nightmare tries to revive the referee. When he turns back to Marcy he’s just able to dodge a flying kneel. Marcy turns back to Gavin and gets hit with the Driver’s Side Impact! Gavin walks over to the referee and shakes him back to consciousness. He makes the cover and the referee crawls over and makes the cover.

1…

2…

Sam
Marcy kicks out!

Mac
I thought that was it!

Lana
It would have been if the referee wasn’t down.

Gavin gets Marcy LaRue back up and sets her up for another piledriver, but Marcy wiggles free. She fires a knock out swinging back fist, but Gavin ducks. He runs off the ropes ad clips Marcy in the back of the head with a Driver’s Side Impact! Nightmare makes the cover.

1…

2…

3!

Sam
Nightmare picks up the victory!

Penny Lane
Here is your winner… NIGHTMARE!

Mac
Well that was way better than a battle royal.

Lana
Hells yeah.

Mac
Hells yeah?

Lana
Trying something new.

Mac
Yeah, not the time to do that.

Backstage we hear a big commotion, and see several crew members running away from something. The camera finally catches up to the action, and it appears Kidd Love is being chased by Duke McCoy, Riot, and Zoe.

It seems like Legion has Kidd Love cornered, and is about to lay a prematch beat down on him, when an unexpected group of individuals show up and step between Kidd and Legion. Who are these individuals, it's mother fucking LaBomb Squad.

Duke McCoy
What are you doing?

Stefan pops his neck and Zach cracks his knuckles, as Leon steps up.

Leon LaBomb
Last show of the company, we aren't booked, so me and my brothers thought what could we do. Ending things on the sideline sounded boring, so we thought hey, how about a good ole fashion brawl with the biggest group on the roster.

Leon signals for Kidd to leave, and since he has a match coming up next, he wastes no time getting out of dodge. Duke McCoy does not look happy.

Duke McCoy
What chance do you idiots have against us. We are Legion.

Leon LaBomb
And we are not impressed.

Duke nods, and Legion swarms on the LaBomb Squad. As the camera fades to black, it definitely appears like Legion is getting the best of it, but atleast Kidd Love was spared an unfair beating before his match.

Purity Solanas vs Kidd Love

Penny Lane
The Following match is scheduled for one fall, making their way to the ring first…

As we cut up to the stage we hear "Powertrip" by Monster Magnet begins to play as the crowd immediately begins booing. Kidd Love makes his way out with a hood over his head paying no mind to the crowd before flipping the hood off and throwing his arms out with a yell.

Penny Lane
Making his way first to the ring weighing in at 225lbs and hailing from Bradford, Yorkshire, England….KIDD LOVE!!!!!

Kidd then struts to the ring ripping his arms away from the fans trying to grab at him before making his way up the stairs and entering the ring. He twirls around with his arms out and stroking his hair back.

Sam
What a match we have coming up here folks, Purity vs. Kidd Love is sure to be a classic to look back too.

Mac
Who cares about this match, all that matters is watching Purity’s ass inside that ring. Now that Sammy is a classic to look back too; chick’s booty game is legit untouched.

Lana
Mac’s got a point; I’d toss her salad anytime.

"Hard" by Rihanna begins: "Yeah, yeah yeah..." The crowd instantly starts booing as the words "BEST IN NEWERA" appear on the display screen while the intro continues. Eliza Roddrick enters, and begins to announce...

Eliza
Introducing, from Rancho Cucamonga, California, at a weight of one hundred and ten pounds... the DOPEST CHICK THIS SIDE OF SAC TOWN!!!!... the BEST IN NEWERA... PUUUUUURIIIIIITYYYYYY SOOOOOOLAAAAAANAAAAAAS!

When the drums kick in, Purity Solanas emerges from behind the curtain, wearing her patch-sewn hoodie. Andrew Freyling is behind her. Purity stands at the top of the ramp for a moment, chewing gum and taunting the camera. Then, with Freyling and Eliza, the whole group struts down to the ring. Purity trades quips with her two associates, still talking trash and interacting with fans, mocking them for booing. Purity slides into the ring, throws the hoodie to Freyling on the outside, and stretches to prepare for her match.

Sam
Purity is just breathing hatred as she looks at Kidd Love at ringside.

Mac
Well she’s the best in New Era and anything that isn’t a world title match is bellow her.

Lana
I wonder if she would oppose to using creamy ranch dressing when I toss her salad.

As we see Kidd slide back into the ring we watch as he wastes no time as the ref calls for the bell and attacks Purity with full force. Rushing her into a corner we watch as Kidd unloads a flurry of lefts and rights onto Purity before going onto the 2nd rope and grabs Purity by the head and dives back into the ring for a bulldog. Landing with a vicious thump we see Kidd cover quickly for a pin, 1…2….NO! Before the ref got his arm up for the 2nd pin count Purity kicks out as her cheerleading team at ringside cheers her on.

Sam
Kidd was off to a quick start but can’t end this one early.

Mac
Who in their right mind thinks a bulldog can end a match this early, dude’s been huffing paint or something.

Lana
I wonder what Purity’s trunks will smell like after this match, I bet it’s lovely.

Sam & Mac
GROSS!

Getting to his feet before Purity we see Kidd stalk the best in New Era and aim for a sleeper hold. But before he could lock in the hold we see Purity flip Kidd over her shoulder and as he rolls into a seated position locks in a classic Bow and Arrow lock. Bending the arms back we see as Purity drives her knee deep into the square of Kidd’s back before releasing as she grins maliciously.

Sam
Purity is looking to end it here.

Mac
Good, she should of took Kidd out before this match began.

Lana
Yeah but that ass though, I mean Christ it’s amazing; Purity puts Brandi Storm to shame with ease.

As Kidd tries to get up we see Purity turn around and unload a stiff roundhouse kick to a kneeling Kidd Love that sends him leaning backwards. As Kidd moves forward we see his worn out arms catch his fall and tries to get back up. But before he could we see Purity yell out “GET FUCKED!” before running off the ropes and hits a jumping curb stomp that crushes Kidd Love face first into the ring, his head almost spiked into the ground.

Sam
CONTAMINATOR!!!! And what a way to hit it on Kidd; she spiked him into the ground on that one.

Mac
I won’t lie Sammy, that got me super hard right now.

Lana
I’m am wetter than a high school pool right now.

With Kidd Love knocked out we see Purity have Eliza pull out her camera and slides it into the ring where Purity adds insult to injury. Leaning on a bent elbow we see Purity cheese it up as she lets out a smile as the ref counts for the three as Purity takes selfie after selfie, 1….2…..3!!!!!

Eliza
Your winner of the match, PURITY SOLANS!

Sliding the phone back to Eliza we see Purity get to her feet as the ref holds her arms up in victory as we hear "Hard" by Rihanna begin to play around the arena.

Sam
And like that Purity ends her time the same way she started it; with a victory.

Mac
Thank god I won’t have to see her face anymore; god I hate her so much.

Lana
I’m going to miss that ass in person, it’s a sad day for all of us here.

Seeing Kidd get helped out of the ring we watch as Team Purity slides into the ring and celebrates her victory with her as the crowd boos her away before we cut to the back.

As Adam Jones gets ready for one last match in NEWera, his brother stops by for a visit to wish him good luck. Previously unsuccessful in the Invitational Opener, he already has his bags packed and is ready to leave.

Mark Jones
Well... this is it, I guess, bro.

Adam looks up to his older brother, lacing his boots as he gets ready to face down Adrian Murdoch.

Adam Jones
Yeah... I guess so. Seems unreal.
I remember my first match here in NEWera like it was yesterday. Now it's time to leave, and I'm facing down a guy who wants to murder me. Guess that's how it goes. We'll find another place. I've been checking out Chaotic Pro Wrestling. Might be a good fit...

Mark hangs against the wall, his head held low...

Mark Jones
Yeah uh... I don't think I'm going to be going anywhere.

Adam looks at his brother, perplexed.

Adam Jones
No?

Mark Jones
Well you know, I was all about becoming a wrestler and everything. Joining in on what's become the family business. When Nightmare was attacking you and Dad, it seemed like the right thing to do. But then I found out about Eugene and well --I think I should just try to be a Dad for now. It's a full time job.

Adam looks at his brother and nods, understanding.

Adam Jones
Yeah, I get it... good luck, man.

Mark Jones
You too. Sure you don't want my help, tonight? I could stick around.

Adam Jones
Don't. I got this, don't even sweat it. I'll call you sometime. We'll get a beer. Sound good?

Mark Jones
Sounds great. See ya.

And then The Brothers Jones, were no more...

Adrian Murdoch vs The Good Doctor Adam Jones

All at once, rows of lights shut down until the stadium is left in utter darkness -and then, in sync with the beat of "I Need a Doctor", the silver and blue pyrotechnics rain down from the rafters. Suddenly the Titan Tron buzzes to life, exploding from every edge... and just beneath the main screen, standing stoic at the top of the entrance ramp... is TGD, Adam Jones.

Penny Lane
The Following Match is scheduled for one-fall, and has re-booked as NO DISQUALIFICATIONS! Introducing first, the finest man to ever grace a NEWera ring... ADAAAAAM JOOOOONES!

♫I'm about to lose my mind,
You've been gone for so long,
I'm running out of time,
I NEED A DOCTOR...
Call me a Doctor...
I NEED A DOCTOR...
DOCTOR...
DOCTOR...
To bring me back to life♫

The bass drops, and TGD makes his move, coming down the ramp in an almost nonchalant manner, his face without expression. As he nears the base of the ramp, The Good Doctor raises a single arm into the air, balling his fist up and holding it with pride and confidence -at this the crowd raise to their feet and start a chant in his favor. TGD then slides into the ring, taking a stand on the nearest turnbuckle, and gazes out into the crowd before hopping back down -ready to begin his match.

Penny Lane
And his opponent... ADRIAN MUUUURDOCH!!!

"There Goes the Neighborhood" hits, and Adrian Murdoch burst through from the curtains. Wasting no time, he tears down the ramp and slides into the ring ---immediately coming to blows with Adam Jones!

Sam
These two are NOT waiting to get things started!

Mac
They really aren't!

Adrian comes in firing on all cylinders, cutting Jones down with a huge lariat. TGD rolls over to his stomach, and presses himself back to his feet in a hurry. Murdoch swings at him again, but this time Jones evades the strikes. As he comes back, the two lock up in the center of the ring -completely deadlocked in a test of strength.

Lana
It looks as though we're going to go all out tonight, and changing this match to a no disqualification match between these two men will really stretch the bar. So far Adrian Murdoch started off strong, but now we're seeing an even display from both competitors. It will only escalate from here.

Sam
This is the first time I have ever heard you make such a professional-sounding comment on a match.

Lana
Yeah, well, the fat lady sung and it's time to drink some hooch.

Mac
Drink up, ladies, and make it a night to remember.

The two seem continue evenly, each trying to push the other back, and after a few highly contested seconds... it's Adrian Murdoch who backs Adam Jones into a corner. The referee calls for a break, but then remembers the last-minute change to the rules... and sudden absence of them. Murdoch refuses to break off anyway, and presses his advantage. Hammering in the hard kick, he drives it into Jones' gut until Adam is finally able to fight him off and shove him back a few steps. Adrian looks back at his opponent, a rueful smile on his face.

Mac
These are two men who don't like each other AT ALL, and you can see that clearly here tonight.

Lana
Well, yeah... what part of that haven't you been paying attention to these past couple of months?

Adam makes his way out of the corner, and taunts Adrian to try his luck again. Unimpressed by the earlier performance, Murdoch agrees and once again the two lock up in the center of the ring. Like before, early on the two seem deadlocked in a tie... but then to Adrian's surprise, Adam begins to push him back. A few seconds later and "The Black Sheep" is forced into the corner. This time it is Adam who drives his boot into Murdoch's ribcage, and Murdoch who is pinned to the corner -forced to fight Adam off and shove him away.

Sam
It's going very back and forth so far, but it's only a matter of time before one of these boys gains the definitive edge.

This time, Murdoch bull-rushes Jones. Adam scouts the advance, and is able to brace for it. He takes Murdoch down with a hip toss, but Murdoch isn't down for long. Surging to his feet, Murdoch is right back at him with a vengeance. This time Murdoch takes down The Good Doctor with a hip toss ---and TGD rolls away, coming up to his feet once more. Murdoch is already at him, and lunges for a clothesline, but it gets ducked by Jones. Adam swings with a clothesline of his own, but Murdoch evades the strike. Adrian goes for a pele kick, but Jones is able to catch his foot. Murdoch then jumps up to hit an enziguiri, but Jones is able to duck it. Jones turns down and then sweeps Murdoch’s leg, taking him down to the mat.

Lana
Some unusual fighting from these two who seem to know each other well... likely they're trying to catch the other off-guard and gain the advantage of surprise. Doesn't seem to be leading anywhere. Hey, stop hugging all the hooch!

Sam
I only had a sip!

TGD goes to pick Murdoch back to his feet, but Murdoch responds by jabbing a thumb to his eye and sending Jones sprawling back! Jones howls in pain as Murdoch comes at him, then grabs him by the wrist and sends him packing with an Irish Whip! Adam Jones comes to the ropes ---but Murdoch is already on him, and sends him over the top with a hard clothesline!

Mac
Looks as though Murdoch is starting to play for real.

Jones crashes to the ground, rolling over to his back. Eventually, he's able to crawl over to the guardrail and pick himself back to his feet. Murdoch, however, is already outside and just behind him. Jones turns, and goes to kick Adrian, but Adrian hits him with a drop-toe hold that sends the Doctor into the barricade. Murdoch then advances behind Jones and grabs him by the hair, slamming his face right on top of the security railing. Blood flies into the air, and Jones reacts instantly. Elbowing Murdoch hard in the face, Jones is able to fight him off before he can do any permanent damage. The Good Doctor turns around, but Murdoch is back and slugs him in the face before tossing him into the ring apron. TGD bounces back and runs at Adrian for a spear, but Murdoch catches him and tosses him into the barricade once more. He then reaches out and grabs Adam by the wrist, giving the Doctor an Irish Whip right into the steel ring steps.

Sam
Adrian Murdoch is certainly capitalizing on his environment!

Adam lays sprawled out in the midst of the steel steps. Adrian goes over to grab him, and begins hammering down with the fists! Jones is defenseless as Murdoch takes the momentum and seizes it, striking him upon the wreckage. Finally, as Jones lays there helpless, Murdoch discards him like trash and then grabs the top half of the steps. Raising the steel into the air, Murdoch readies himself to make a Jones Sandwich.

Mac
Adrian's not holding back, Adam Jones is in for one nasty surprise!

Lana
This is NOT going to be pretty!

Murdoch swings down with the steps ---but is shouldered by Penny Lane! The ring announcer steps into the action, saving her boyfriend from harm by knocking Adrian off-balance and causing him to miss with the stairs. Adrian turns to face her as she gets into his face, screaming at him.

Mac
Well, it looks like our faithful ring announcer just saved the Doctor-in-Distress. And she's not too shy about getting in Murdoch's face.

Lana
She's got more balls than YOU do!

Penny blocks Murdoch from Adam, and Adrian seems caught in a decision of what to do about it. Adam Jones, however, makes that decision for him. Recovering from the steel steps, Adam has climbed back to his feet and makes his way between Penny and Adrian in a hurry. Adam throws a wide right at Adrian's temple, which Adrian braces to block. The attack was a feint, however, and Adam capitalizes by bringing his knee up and nailing Adrian hard in the gut. Following up through that, Adam takes his left hand and grabs Adrian by the wrist, slamming Adrian's body into the steel post at the corner of the ring! With Murdoch dazed, Adam turns back and yells for Penny to steer clear. Then, sliding Adrian back into the ring so that his head dangles just off of the apron... Adam climbs up to the turnbuckle --and jumps down so that gravity carries his heel right onto Murdoch's head, nearly decapitating him!

Mac
DAMN that was vicious!

The fans in attendance call out:

"CALL HIM A DOCTOR! HE NEEDS A DOCTOR!"

Adam allows himself a smirk at this, then slides back into the ring. "The Black Sheep" clutches his head and neck in agony, struggling to get back to his feet. Jones gladly assists in the effort, only to lay in on the strikes when Murdoch is back up. Firing off body shots and chops to try and cut the big guy down. An ill-advised charge leads to a spinebuster from Murdoch! Locking both hands around The Good Doctor's throat -he easily picks the smaller man up to his feet. He then hurls Jones into the turnbuckle and rushes him, but the quicker Adam Jones gets out of the way just in the nick of time. Smashing into the turnbuckles, Murdoch is open to assault and TGD takes full advantage... mounting the turnbuckle and firing several straight right hands to the head of his opponent.

Lana
This match needs more cowbell.

Sam
I was wondering how long it would take you to make a random, non-match related comment. You broke your record.

Mac
Guys, I'm actually enjoying this one. Let's keep it down.

A standing dropkick keeps Murdoch in the corner long enough for Jones to nail a running clothesline. Pulling the larger man out, he clamps on a waistlock and tries for a German suplex but can't get Murdoch up. Too winded from his clash with the stairs, Jones is left open as a hard back elbow lets Murdoch extricate himself but a massive clothesline misses by an inch. Jones then shoulder tackles Murdoch into the corner again and he throws a few more for good measure. Clubbing shots from Adrian takes TGD down to a knee but he again goes for the eyes and manages to pull Murdoch from the corner and whip him into the ropes. Another dropkick staggers the big man just enough for The Good Doctor to execute an impressive scoop slam!

Sam
Great opportunity for a three-count here, and I think that the Doctor is going to take it!

Adam goes down for the pinfall:

ONE!!!

TWO!!! Murdoch is able to completely power out, and throws Jones off of him, launching the Doctor straight into the air! Murdoch comes up, and Adam surges ahead to meet him. TGD then grabs to whip him into the ropes...but Murdoch reverses and Jones runs right into a brutal spinning side slam!

Mac
Murdoch really turned that around.

A series of stomps and kicks herd TGD towards the ropes where he rolls out onto the apron and pulls himself up. Murdoch reaches for him but gets his head yanked down, throat across the top rope, sending him reeling back toward the center of the ring. Jones then rolls back in and drives a boot into his stomach. Delivering a series of elbows to the back of the neck and between the shoulders, Adrian is driven down to a knee. Jones then makes a show of measuring his opponent and tries to take his head off with a running boot. Murdoch catches him at the last second with a meaty hand and a wide-eyed Adam Jones takes a ride to the mat via a brutal chokeslam!

Lana
Adam just rode the canvas harder than his last boyfriend!

Mac
See the way his head bounced? That can't be good!

Sam
The Good Doctor will need a doctor after this one!

Adam Jones doesn't look like he knows where he is at this point. Murdoch hoists him up on his shoulders, but out of instinct Jones fights his way down with elbows. A few hard kicks to the gut and one to the side of the head puts Adrian Murdoch back on his hands and knees and a running punt to his ribs keeps him there. Jones tries to keep on the pressure but wild punches from Murdoch allow him to fight his way back to his feet. The more he strikes back, the more desperate Jones gets. Grabbing Murdoch by the head and ramming a knee into the side of it, TGD seems to be setting his opponent up for a finisher. He locks Murdoch's shoulders and calls out for the Final Prescription!!!

Mac
Adam's looking to end it!

Sam
Can he do it?

"The Black Sheep" puts a halt to that idea, though, and catches him with a sharp elbow. Jones reels, then rushes in before Murdoch can press the opening, but ends up military pressed over Adrian's head before being dropped to the mat hard. The Good Doctor holds his midsection as Murdoch puts a hand to the ropes, trying to get his own bearings back. Jones is then pulled up by the hair and, grabbed by the throat with both hands, thrown halfway across the ring to the mat. He manages to use some of the momentum to roll up to his feet and meets Murdoch with a spinning heel kick that takes him off his feet. Dropping a few elbows to the big man's heart, Jones tries yet again for a pin, hooking the leg.

ONE!!!

TWO!!! A kick-out from Adrian Murdoch keeps things going. But the lack of power in his push shows that the Doctor is wearing him down. Jones backs off a few steps, catching his breath at the same time that he's measuring Murdoch for something nasty...

Lana
These two are showing a lot of stamina here tonight. It's too bad they're only hot for each other, I could use a man with endurance...

Sam
This is what NEWera has always been about. Laying it all on the line. We should be proud of the fine display these competitors are putting on for us.

Mac
Hearhear!

Murdoch gets to his feet and Jones kicks him in the gut, locking him into position for the Final Prescription! He gets ready, but Murdoch lifts Jones up and over his head! Jones climbs to his feet and runs to the ropes. Adrian chases him, but Jones pulls the ropes down, sending Murdoch flying over them and onto the ground below!

Mac
Once more, with feeling!

Sam
Again, these two competitors go to the outside. It'll only get nastier from here!

Jones starts to head outside, then stops. Looking down at Murdoch, he motions for him to come back inside the ring. Murdoch is about to... and then decides to make a short detour. Grabbing a nearby steel chair, Murdoch then turns back and smiles back up at Jones. Penny goes to intervene once more and wrestle the chair out of Adrian's hands, but Jones tells her to stop. Looking down at Adrian, Jones smiles... and beckons him forward.

Mac
It looks as though... Jones wants Adrian to bring the chair!

Lana
Proof that not all doctors are smart...

Adrian slides in with the steel chair, facing Adam with it. He raises the chair high, swings... but Jones has already run ahead, catching Murdoch with a neckbreaker and knocking the chair out of his hands! Murdoch rolls over, slowly coming up to his feet as he faces TGD down once again. Adam Jones steps towards the center of the ring, as the crowd rallies support behind him and shows who the clear favorite in the match is. Murdoch follows and sidesteps behind him, grabbing him by the hair. Adam responds by sending some elbows into his stomach, forcing Murdoch to let go. Adam turns around and throws Adrian's head under his armpit, and lifts him up for a vertical suplex. Murdoch kicks his feet while in the air, and manages to fall back to his feet. Adam tries to lift him up again, but Adrian hooks his leg around Adam's. Murdoch throws a few short punches to Adam's mid section, then lifts The Good Doctor up and lands a vertical suplex of his own, which silences the crowd support.

Sam
Adam's in trouble!

Adrian Murdoch jumps up to his feet and begins to mock the crowd for cheering Adam Jones, telling them they're backing the wrong man, while making another grab for the steel chair. Meanwhile The Good Doctor is back to his feet. Adrian turns just as he lifts the chair up, and Adam catches him off guard, wrapping his arms around him giving him a huge bear hug. Adam says something to Adrian Murdoch before tossing him over head with a belly to belly suplex.

Mac
I swear the longer Adam goes, the stronger he gets!

Sam
He certainly thrives on these brutal matches, and it shows tonight!

The fans all cheer as Adam lifts Murdoch up for a scoop slam. Adrian once again kicks his feet while in the air, and slips behind Adam landing behind him. Murdoch wraps his arms around The Good Doctor, and sends Adam over his head with a vicious German Suplex!

Lana
Endurance will only take you so far, if Murdoch gets his hands on that chair it's lights out for The Good Doctor!

Adam lands hard on the back of his head, but forces himself to get up quickly and continue the fight. Adrian Murdoch meets him with a European uppercut, and follows it up with a knife edged chop. Murdoch throws a punch, but Adam catches it, kicks him in the gut. The Good Doctor grabs his opponent's leg, and throws him over his head with a T-Bone Suplex!

Mac
The Good Doctor isn't holding back, he's throwing everything he's got at The Black Sheep!

Adam Jones goes to lift Adrian Murdoch up from the mat, but Adrian surprises him by jumping up to his feet and throwing a knee into his gut. The Good Doctor looks to be stuck as Murdoch continues to come at him, following up by a series of hard chops. Adam is soon backed into the ropes. Murdoch presses him there, then whips him into the opposite ropes. Adam bounces back on the rebound and Adrian side steps picking him up and slamming him down with a Dream Smasher!!!

Lana
Whelp, that'll be it for the Doctor...

Adrian goes down, and hooks the leg.

ONE!!!

TWO--Suddenly, Adrian breaks off and stops the pinfall.

Mac
Somehow I don't think that Mr. Murdoch is looking for a clean victory...

A malicious look in his eye, Adrian gets up and looks toward the steel chair. He weighs the option for a moment, and then goes forward and lifts Jones off the ground by his throat and throws him against the turnbuckle! Jones' skull bounces off the post with a thud and he crashes lifelessly to the mat. Murdoch smirks as he looks back at the chair. He picks it up and raises it above TGD's head...

Sam
Someone get her OUT of there!

Murdoch never sees Penny Lane coming as she enters the ring, blasting him over the back with a steel chair of her own! Murdoch goes down to a knee as Penny Lane brings the chair back up and then drives it right down over his head. Murdoch collapses in the ring, his head busted wide open by Penny's assault. Penny then drops the chair and goes in to attend to her boyfriend, who seems unable to get back to his feet.

Mac
It seem as though both of these men have put it all down on the line tonight, and have nothing left.

Lana
And the woman is the only one left standing! As it should be!

Penny helps Adam to his feet as he groggily attempts to stand. A moment later, and Jones is finally able to regain his senses. Penny tries to help him more, but he refuses. Telling her to leave once again, Adam comes forward and grabs the steel chair that Murdoch had previously been holding. This time he readies it as Murdoch crawls over to the ropes and pulls himself to his knees. Murdoch turns on his stomach and seems helpless as TGD swings with the chair ---but Murdoch falls to his side and rolls out of the impact zone! TGD's strikes hits nothing but air as Murdoch grabs him by the ankle and bites down hard! Jones howls out in pain as Murdoch takes a huge chunk out of his leg, biting right through the boot!

Mac
Oh my God, Adrian Murdoch is a zombie! Quick, someone call Norman Reedus!

TGD reaches down and tries to get Murdoch off of him, but Murdoch responds by grabbing the steel chair away from him and then twisting Jones' ankle back and taking him down to the canvas. There, Murdoch rolls away with the steel chair. When Adam tries to come back to his feet -Murdoch blasts him right in the back of the head with the chair!

Sam
This one can't go much further!

Adam drops to the canvas. Adrian goes to blast him again, then decides against it. Dropping the chair, he stands there a moment... and then collapses.

Lana
Well... that was anti-climactic.

The match having taken it's toll, Adrian lies lifeless beside his opponent and sworn enemy. The ref comes in to check on the both of them as Penny stands there, helpless and crying as she watches blood trickle down Adam Jones' head. The referee is about to start counting a double knock out when suddenly Adrian Murdoch stirs back to life, and reaches up for him. Using the referee as assistance to stand back to his feet, Adrian lingers a moment... and then goes for Adam. Lifting Adam up behind his back, Adrian uses the very last of his strength as he readies the Dream Smasher... and sends Jones careening down right on top of the steel chair!

Mac
Now that was borderline overkill...

Jones goes completely out like a light. Shaking his head, Murdoch says aloud "This isn't enough..." Then, to the horror of all watching... Murdoch unfolds the chair, and places Adam's head inside of it. Penny's eyes shoot wide with terror and she goes a third time to save her man... but this time, Alex Evans runs down to the ring, and holds her back. Murdoch nods to his cousin as Penny screams in terror, watching him climb up the turnbuckle...

Sam
No... I can't watch...

Mac
Oh shit...

Lana
Would this constitute as a hate crime?

Murdoch flies through the air... crashing down, and causing Jones' neck to snap with a sickening crack in the air as the chair straight up breaks over and under his head. A hush silence falls into the ring as Jones coughs up blood, then falls limp. Murdoch watches as his opponent is truly and utterly defeated in the center of the ring. Evans releases Penny, who cuts through the silence with screams and crying -rushing to Jones side.

Mac
Ladies and Gentlemen... I think this one is over. Though I doubt Penny Lane will be calling it...

Sam
Please... can we go to a break... or something... anything...

EMTs rush the ring as the bell sounds, announcing an end to the match...

Backstage, Nightmare is talking to Travis Blaine.

Travis Blaine
Congrats on the win earlier tonight, but are you sure you want to do this.

Nightmare nods his head yes.

Travis Blaine
Then go do the damn thing.

Television Championship Match
Robbie Priest (c) vs Duke McCoy
or is it?

As Penny Lane attends to Adam Jones with the NEWera Medical Crew following the last match, Fat Cobra has stepped in to announce the following entrants...

Fat Cobra
The Following Match has been rescheduled as a TRIPLE THREAT and is for the NEWera Television Championship! Introducing first, the winner of tonight's opening match... NIGHTMARE.

As we pan around the arena we see the lights dim as we hear the beginning of "War" by Akissforjersey begin to play around the arena. After six seconds of build up we hear the vocals erupt as the lights flash in bright colors of white and purple as we see in the shadows of the darkness Nightmare make his way onto the stage from behind the curtain.

Mac
A lot of changes tonight, one of them being adding Nightmare to this match. The winner of the opener was scheduled to face the winner of this TV Title match later on, but...

Sam
There no longer is a later on from here...

Lana
Good thing a beautiful woman like myself is never lacking for employment. Sam, I'm so sorry... you can probably move in with your parents or something.

Walking to the far left side of the stage we see Nightmare stare out at the crowd from under the hood of his sleeveless and unzipped hoodie. Walking back to the center of the stage we watch as Nightmare drops to his knees and lets in a deep breath as he places both arms behind his head before pulling himself back to his feet and making his way down to the ring. As Nightmare reaches the end of the entrance ramp and enters the ringside area we watch as he quickly rolls under the bottom rope and makes his way to the far right corner of the ring. Standing on the 2nd turnbuckle we watch as Nightmare stretches his arms out wide as he keeps his head down before pulling them in to form an X under his chin as he lifts his head up and lets out a sick, sly grin to the crowd before he hops down off the turnbuckle and takes a seat in the same corner as he waits for the match to begin.

Fat Cobra
And the first of his opponents... DUKE McCOY.

Lights flash throughout the venue as Karen O. and Trent Reznor's cover of "Immigrant Song" hit the PA system. From behind the curtains... Duke McCoy appears -pushing along his sister Bonnie in a wheelchair, who holds a bloodied clump of rags.

Mac
Oh God, he brought his sister along...

Lana
This is disgusting! After what he's done to her, how can she be out here with him!

Sam
I can't believe that this is happening...

Duke continues to wheel down Bonnie to the ring, causing everyone to leap out of their seats and collectively boo him. Duke revels in this, even as they start throwing cabbages at him. Topping it all off, Duke wheels Bonnie to the steel steps... and there he helps her up to her feet, planting an uncomfortably long and close kiss upon her lips. She smiles at him, then goes back to the chair.

Sam
Uh... gross.

Mac
Well... even with Game of Thrones gone for a year, we're still getting our incest fix tonight.

Spotlights converge on the stage as Judas Priest's "The Hellion""The Hellion" starts.

Fat Cobra
And lastly... NEWera's Television Champion... ROOOOOBBIE PRIEEEEST!!!

Priest rises up through the stage with his back to the crowd, one arm raised to the sky with the devil horns extended. The ride up finishes just as the song changes over to "Electric Eye" and Priest turns to face the crowd bringing his other arm up into the same devil horn pose smirking at the assembled masses. At the twenty second mark of the song, Priest begins walking to ring singing along as he walks. he reaches the ring and dives in ascending to the top turnbuckles and giving everyone the double horn pose again... in effect giving everyone the Electric Eye as he surveys the crowd before dropping to the mat and waiting for the match to begin.

Lana
Whatever happens tonight... someone, please, make a eunuch out of Duke McCoy.

Mac
Might as well get Gavin, too. Hell... let's bring Kerryn out here and make it a Sanctimonious Dickwad Contest 2014.

Lana
Wouldn't you be included in that?

Mac
I'd be the referee.

Nightmare can’t take anymore of this waiting around, and decides to get it going by starting to lay into Priest with right hands backing him into the corner and Duke joins in on the assault, ganging up on the Champion. They move Priest over, whipping him into the ropes then take him down with a double back body drop. Priest gets back up to his feet and is near the ropes. McCoy runs at him and clotheslines him over the top ropes, then quickly turns back to Nightmare and they begin to exchange blows. Nightmare gains the upper hand and backs Duke into the corner. Duke blocks a punch, reverses positions with Gavin and begins to beat up on him in the corner. He whips Nightmare into the opposite turnbuckles then runs at him. Nightmare throws his feet in the air -catching The Duke in the jaw and causing him to stumble back. Nightmare explodes out of the corner and takes Duke down with a clothesline. He then whips Duke into the ropes and drops his head for a back body drop, but Duke counters with a swinging neckbreaker.

Lana
Why are Duke's balls still attached to his body?

Mac
They're fighting well, but our Champion still has to get back into the match.

Robbie slides back into the ring but The Duke is waiting for him, greeting him with a few right hands. Priest fires back a few of his own and a brawl ensues. Duke gets the upper hand and has Priest up against the ropes. He then whips Priest into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but the Television Champion ducks under it, hitting the ropes and rebounding with a back elbow to take Duke down. Nightmare is nearly back to his feet when he gets clubbed by Priest. He grabs Gavin and tosses him over the top ropes with so much force that he bounces off the mats and hits the guardrail.

Sam
A lot of power to that throw.

Duke is back up in the corner and Priest goes to work on him. He whips Duke into the ropes, lowers his head --and gets kicked in the face by McCoy! Priest holds his nose and Duke takes him down with a Reverse Neckbreaker. Nightmare is back up on the apron and gets sent back to the outside by a standing dropkick from Duke. Duke goes back to work on Priest, but Robbie blocks a punch and hits McCoy with a headbutt. He lifts Duke up into a Hip Toss Powerbomb for a Metal Meltdown, but Duke quickly wiggles free. Nightmare is back up on the apron again and Priest turns away from Duke for a moment, to run over and knock him from the apron once more.

Mac
Nightmare isn't having a lot of luck getting back into the ring.

Sam
At least there aren't any kids around to kick the head in of.

Priest motions for Duke to bring it when they turn to face one another again. Duke McCoy responds with a kick to Priest’s mid-section. He then batters Priest with a few fists, taking Priest down to one knee. Duke sees Nightmare coming in again and goes for a haymaker, but Nightmare ducks then hits a one handed bulldog. Priest is back up and he goes for a haymaker on Nightmare, but Gavin ducks and hits a one handed bulldog on Priest. McCoy is back up and Gavin bear hugs him from behind, but Duke fights his grasp. Priest is back up and goes for a clotheslines, but both Duke and Gavin duck and Nightmare shoves Duke towards the turnbuckles. Nightmare takes Priest down with a scissor kick and then takes Duke down with a springboard heel kick. Nightmare whips Priest into the ropes, hits him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker then turns his attention back to McCoy. He whips Duke into the turnbuckles with all his might causing Duke to flip up and over the turnbuckles to the outside.

Mac
These guys are really going at it.

Lana
Well you can't really half-ass NEWera's last show, though I'm just here to look pretty. It's tough being this beautiful.

Priest is in the corner and as Nightmare approaches he gets booted in the gut. Priest then climbs up to the second turnbuckles and jumps off with an axehandle, but Gavin sidesteps him and Priest lands on his feet. Nightmare does a sweep kick kicking Priest's legs out from under him and in an instant locks Priest in the Snake Bite -a Cloverleaf Leg Lock.

Sam
Nightmare has the Champion locked!

Mac
That's not a good place for Priest to be!

The wise veteran abruptly releases the hold and runs towards the ropes as Duke McCoy has jumped up on the apron and Nightmare knocks him right back down and follows him to the outside. Nightmare then bearhugs Duke, and runs with him and drives him hard into the guardrail. He peeks inside the ring to see that Priest is still down, so he gets Duke back up and rams him into the guardrail again. Nightmare dashes over to the opposite side of the ring, runs up the steps then picks up speed across the apron, leaps into the air and crushes Duke with a somersault plancha right through the barricade!

Lana
Well, it's a good thing we're not worried about the budget tonight...

Mac
That was pretty awesome, and Nightmare certainly delivers the goods...

Priest rolls to the outside and takes a dazed Nightmare down with a clothesline, rolling Gavin back into the ring. Priest gets into the ring and stomps on a downed Nightmare as the crowd cheers the effort. Priest soaks it in and roughly brings Nightmare back up to his feet and forces him into the corner. He batters him with a few fists followed by a few stiff knees into his sternum. He lifts Nightmare up onto the top turnbuckle and climbs up with him. Priest has Nightmare set up for a suplerplex, but Duke is back in the ring and clubs Priest in the back sending Nightmare tumbling to the outside! Priest is still on the turnbuckles and Duke gets underneath him, holds onto his legs and drops him from the top! Everyone is down!

Sam
Oh man, this is one to remember!

Mac
NEWera is going out in style!

Duke makes the cover:

ONE!!!

TWO!!!-kickout by Priest!

Mac
Thank God, I didn't want to see Duke McCoy crowned as NEW Era's last Television Champion!

Lana
I don't think anybody does!

Duke and Priest get back up and Duke whips Priest into the ropes. Priest hits the ropes and absolutely destroys Duke with a big boot and both men are down. Nightmare is back up and climbs to the top ropes. He sizes up both opponents and nails a shooting star press on Duke from a fair distance.

Sam
Nightmare just flew far!

Nightmare makes the cover this time:

ONE!!!

TWO!!! -Priest breaks it up.

Mac
This one isn't over yet!

When Nightmare gets back to his feet, Priest runs at him and Nightmare low bridges the ropes sending Priest to the outside. When Duke gets back up, Nightmare grabs him from behind for a german suplex, but Duke holds onto the ropes. McCoy then fires an elbow knocking Nightmare off of him. Gavin reaches out, however, and whips Duke into the ropes ---and hits the deck because he sees Duke coming back with a flying lariat. The referee never sees this coming, getting knocked for a ride to the outside when Duke collides with him.

Lana
Is that enough to eject Duke from the competition? I think it should be!

Duke takes a look at the downed referee, then looks toward his sister who continues to cradle the "child" on the outside and Nightmare comes in and clubs him in the back, taking him to the outside. Priest is back in the ring and takes a big swing at Nightmare, but Gavin ducks, grabs Priest by his ankles and again applies the Snake Bite. Nightmare notices Duke getting back into the ring, so he releases the hold, taking Duke down with a drop toe hold and applies the Colombian Necktie! Nightmare knows the referee is down, so he releases Duke, rolls to the outside and tries to wake the official up by slapping him around. The ref waves him off and begins to stir. Nightmare gets back into the ring and gets Duke back up. Duke explodes to break Gavin’s grasp, trips him up and applies a single legged crab.

Mac
Duke's showing off a fair amount of skill that no one would like to acknowledge him having.

Lana
Yes, so let's not acknowledge it.

The referee comes back in, and he asks Nightmare if he gives up and Gavin just shakes his head no and fights for the ropes, but he’s in the dead center of the ring. Duke releases the hold, runs at an approaching Robbie Priest, and takes him down with a spinning wheel kick. Nightmare is back up and Duke boots him in the gut and spikes him with a DDT --McCoy then going for the cover.

ONE!!!

TWO!!--Nightmare gets the shoulder up!

Sam
Priest almost lost the Championship without ever being pinned.

Mac
These triple threat matches are tricky.

Nightmare is back up , dodges a clothesline attempt from Duke and uses his momentum to take him down into a crossface. Priest is back up and is quick to stomp on Nightmare, breaking up the hold. Nightmare is back up and receives a hard shot to the face from Priest, a favor that he returns. Robbie responds with a second big punch and as Nightmare fires back, Priest ducks, lifts him up, drives him hard into the mat with 'The Green Manalishi' and makes the cover.

ONE!!!

TWO!!! -Nightmare kicks out!!!

Mac
Man, these guys keep at it!

Lana
And no one is getting Theon Greyjoy'd. Disappointing.

Priest pulls Nightmare up by his arm and puts him into the corner. Robbie Priest then unleashes a beat down with a series of punches, kicks, knees and finally stomps onto Gavin. Showing a lack of impartial judgement toward Nightmare getting his, the referee is just sitting back allowing to Robbie to continue battering him. Priest then takes a moment for the crowd and then turns back to Nightmare. Nightmare hits the ground, but grabs the Television Champion by his tights and pulls him outside the ring. He turns back and gets clotheslined to the mat by Duke. Duke jumps high into the air and lands a 360 leg drop on Nightmare and makes the cover.

ONE!!!

TWO---Nightmare with the shoulder up!

Mac
Duke just came out of nowhere, but he wasn't able to get much done!

Nightmare is back up and is up against the ropes and Duke clubs him to the outside with a forearm. Nightmare lands near Priest on the outside. Duke climbs up to the top ropes and waits for Priest and Nightmare to get back to their feet. When they do, Duke dives off with a crossbody, but Priest and Nightmare catch him. Nightmare and Priest take a rare moment to work as a unit to hit a fallaway slam on Duke... right onto the steel steps! The crowd goes wild!!!

Lana
Finally, Duke is getting SOME of what he deserves!

Priest and Nightmare immediately go back to exchanging punches. Priest sneaks in a knee and shoves Nightmare into the ring post. Priest then grabs his opponent and absolutely launches him into the other set of ring steps. Nightmare hits them knee first and flips over the stairs knocking them off course. Priest then walks over to Gavin, picks him up into a fireman’s carry and stands on top of a section of stairs. Before Priest can drop Nightmare with a Killing Machine, Nightmare swings his body and plants Priest with 'Welcome to Boston Mother Fucker' - his Double Underhook Backbreaker... onto the ring steps! Everyone is down!

Sam
This is painful to watch!

Mac
There's wreckage everywhere, this is how NEWera does it!

Nightmare is back up first and rolls into the ring favoring his neck. Priest gets back into the ring and clotheslines Nightmare in the back of his neck. Priest then mounts Gavin and unleashes a fury of punches. After well over ten, he dumps Nightmare to the outside and follows him out there. He slams Nightmare's head on the announce table over and and over and over and over again until blood begins to rush from his head.

Lana
Hey, watch the table!

Mac
Priest is getting intense, he certainly has no love for these challengers!

Priest rolls Nightmare on top of the announce table and climbs up with him. Priest then holds Nightmare by his neck... and then hits a T-Bone suplex through the table!

Sam
On the positive side... we knew this was bound to happen sometime tonight. We just didn't know when.

Lana
That was my favorite table...

Priest rolls through the debris and gets back up to his feet. He gets Nightmare back to his feet and rolls him into the ring. Priest gets into the ring, picks up Nightmare and places him just in front of the ropes. Climbing the turnbuckle, Priest then readies himself... and hits the Guillotine Legdrop!

Mac
Nightmare had to feel that one!

Lana
Nightmare doesn't feel anything but the razorblades cutting into his arms...

Priest makes the cover:

ONE!!!

TWO!!!

THR-Duke is back, and breaks up the count!

Mac
So close!

Priest gets back up, and blocks a punch from Duke and knocks him down with a haymaker. Duke shoots right back up and gets taken back down with another haymaker. Duke is running on adrenaline and gets back up again. Priest whips him into ropes and Duke charges at him knocking him down with a flying lariat. Duke is back up and is stalking Priest... waiting for him to get back to his feet. He sees that Nightmare gets back to his feet first so Duke plants him with a pump kick and Nightmare goes down and rolls to the outside. Priest returns, lunging at Duke and places his head between his legs, but before Priest can lift him, Duke rises up and takes Priest over the top to the outside.

Lana
This is just a straight up brawl right now. Quick, someone play the Rains of Castamere.

Duke reaches outside the ring to grab Priest, but gets met as Priest reaches up and takes him down on top of the ropes with a sharp tug to the head. Priest then gets into the ring and goes to hit Duke with a Buzzkiller, but Duke rolls to the outside, grabbing Priest by the ankles and taking him out with him!

Mac
These guys can't go for much longer, someone's gotta close this soon!

Priest catches a kick from Nightmare, coming in from the side, but counters and hits Nightmare with a sharp cut to the chest. With Priest distracted, Duke comes in from behind... and hits The Gospel According to Duke!!!

Lana
Blatant low blow! Come on!

Mac
I don't think that anyone is giving the rules much thought tonight!

Nightmare comes in before Duke can turn the attention on him. Clubbing him from the side, he quickly rolls Duke back into the ring and follows suit. Duke springs up to his feet -but not in time to defend himself as Nightmare leaps up and hits the Driver's Side Impact! Duke goes down!

ONE!!!!!

TWO!!!!

THREE!!!

The bell rings, signifying the pinfall. Penny Lane is back from helping her man with the medical crew, and announces the victor.

Penny Lane
Ladies and Gentlemen... NEW Era's last Television Champion... NIGHTMARE.

Gavin nearly collapses as he's handed the title belt in victory.

Mac
Well, I'm glad it wasn't Duke... but having Nightmare become NEWera's last TV Champion seems...

Sam
These guys put on one heck of a show. Love them or hate them, this was a match that'll go down in history!

Pyros go off on the stage and the opening riff of Rammstein's 'Sonne' fills the arena. The crowd leaps to its feet, going absolutely nuts as a platform in the middle of the stage raises the dark robed Tombstone as he sits atop a white horse. The flames continue to billow up as cameras flash everywhere, the air absolutely electric.

Lana
What's he doing here?!?

Sam
This is probably one of the most important figures in NEWera from the past 2 years! Why would you question his appearance?

Lana
Because he just disappeared!

Mac
But he does deserve to be here on a night like this. I'm glad he's here.... What?

Sam
I always knew you were a softie.

Mac
Everything's slowly starting to hit me.

Tombstone rides the horse back and forth across the stage a few times, the crowd still going ballistic. The horse rears back in the center of the stage and then makes a mad dash down the ramp, cameras continuing to flash. Tombstone rides the horse around the ring, the hood of his robe hiding his face. He slowly climbs off the horse and walks into the ring, where Penny Lane stands in the center, smiling.

Penny Lane
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back... TOMBSTONE!!!

The big man slowly pulls back the hood, the crowd cheering as he nods at Penny. She smiles at him and hands him the microphone, giving him a quick hug before exiting the ring. The music fades out as he stands in the center, looking all around the arena with a solemn expression. A chant breaks out as he stands there, gripping the microphone.

TOMBSTONE! TOMBSTONE! TOMBSTONE! TOMBSTONE!

He holds a hand up, making a down motion a few times, the crowd hushing up. He raises the mic, clearing his throat as his icy blue eyes look all around the arena.

Tombstone
Zis... wasn't exactly the way I imagined coming back. About a month ago, I decided that I needed more time off. Nothing to do with my leg... more of my heart. This place just wasn't the same to me without Alexis. I tried So I told Travis that I needed more time off so I could go look for her. He was more than happy to accommodate me. He told me take as long as I needed and that NEWera would be waiting for me when I was ready... and then I got a phone call two days ago.

He lowers his head as the crowd becomes even more quiet. He looks up, somehow looking even more solemn.

Tombstone
It was Travis, telling me that tonight was going to be the last show NEWera ever puts on. I was floored. I didn't know what to think. I consider NEWera my home away from home and now, the doors are closing for good. My plan was to find Alexis and to come back and make up to all of you the lost time. But now, that will never happen. He told me to keep it to myself for the moment and that he had already put feelers out to CPW and SCW, letting them know they were free to negotiate with NEWera talent starting at the end of tonight. He asked me if I wanted to appear tonight and say something and naturally, I said yes. I can't speak for anybody in the back... but I can't imagine myself anywhere but NEWera. That may just be because this is all still a shock to me. I can't say for sure right now. But here's what I am sure of.

He looks around the arena slowly, a small smile forming on his face.

Tombstone
I'm sure that in the two short years I've been here, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity. I am also proud of what I've done here. There are some that say I should have accomplished so much more, but to that, I say what else is there for me to do? Win the World Championship? I'm the longest reigning Television Champion in history. I've also held that belt the most times. I went 11-0 upon my debut. The Streak. My name was on the lips of everybody for months. For a person that was never a World Champion, I was sure treated like one. I feel I have done better than some people that did win the big one and because of that, I am happy of what I did here in NEWera. And so... thank you.

The crowd begins to cheer and clap as Tombstone looks all around, a look of pride, yet sadness washing over his face as he continues to smile.

Tombstone
Thank you for all of your support. You have been the best to perform in front of. To all of the men and women in the back, even the ones that I've had my problems with... thank you. To Travis Blaine, thank you for hiring me and thank you for keeping me around these past few months and being completely understanding. And to NEWera... thank you. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for the endless chances. Thank you for everything. I'll never forget this journey and I'll never forget any of you. Keine Bedauern, Keine Reue. No Regret, No Remorse. Good night. Hopefully, we'll all see each other again some day.

He slowly lowers the mic, waving a hand in the air as the crowd gets to their feet, cheering and clapping. Tombstone continues to stand in the middle of the ring, nodding his head and continuing to wave. As he turns to go with a final wave of his hand, the lights dim and a familiar chant cues up, leading into the forceful guitars of Machine Head's "I Am Hell". Rising through the familiar ring of flame is none other than the Irish Dragon, Eric Donavan. The reaction he gets isn't on the same level as what Tombstone received but it's impressive nonetheless.

Sam
Did this moment actually get better?

Lana
Never thought we'd lay eyes on this guy again!

Mac
Guess he couldn't not make it to see his good friend off.

Walking down the ramp toward the ring, meeting the hands of those who reach out to him, Eric ascends the steps and walks to the middle of the apron, throwing his own hood back. He locks eyes with Tombstone, stepping into the ring and getting face-to-face (more like face-to chest, to be honest) with the Butcher of Berlin. Neither man turns a hair and the fans, already emotionally-pumped, are suddenly on edge as well.

Lana
Wait a second...you don't think they're gonna...

Mac
No way. Not these two. Thick as thieves.

Sam
They've had their wars too. That's not easily forgotten.

Mac
But this isn't really a time to thrown down, is it?

Each man takes a step back after a moment and Eric is the first to act, extending his hand to his former partner and rival. Tombstone is swift to comply and the two shake hands before embracing briefly in the middle of the ring. Somehow, it seems mighty farfetched that anyone might make jokes about two grown men hugging since it's these two.

Mac
Well that's a relief.

Eric accepts a microphone from Penny Lane, clasping her hand briefly before returning to the middle of the ring with Tombstone.

Eric Donavan
There's no way this could have gone down without both of us saying goodbye together, my friend. Our paths from the bottom to the top of this company were entwined from almost the beginning. We had some of the best matches this company had ever seen together and no matter whether we were friends or enemies, we always left that ring having made each other better.

He takes a moment to compose himself, the chanting of his nickname getting to him for a moment. Considering his quiet exit, it's unexpected.

Eric Donavan
Like my friend Tombstone, this company gave me a lot. It gave me the opportunity to prove that I could compete at a high level and hang with some of the best in the business. It also, in a sense, gave me new purpose and even helped introduce me to the woman who's now my wife. For all of that as well as the opportunity to become this company's champion...there's not much more I can say other than thank you. Thank you to you fans, to the people I've had the honor to share this ring with, to the people in the office who took a chance on me when no one here even knew my name.

The crowd has taken to thanking both men, but Eric isn't quite finished yet. He gets a little more intense as he turns back to Tombstone.

Eric Donavan
But there's the matter of a promise I made you a while back, Elias. It's time that was fulfilled.

He gestures toward the stage, at which point Jynx LeVeux comes out. And with her... is Alexis Jones. The crowd pops as Tombstone stares up the ramp in disbelief.

Sam
Oh my God...

Lana
She's here!

Mac
Holy shit... Eric Donavan actually made good on a promise!

Sam
Mac!

Mac
Sorry... had to throw that in there.

Eric smiles as Jynx and Alexis move down the ramp. Alexis begins to run, her own smile getting bigger and bigger with each step. Tombstone walks toward the ropes and steps over them, jumping to the floor outside. Alexis leaps into his arms and the two embrace as the crowd begins cheering at the top of their lungs. For the first time in a very long time, a huge smile is seen on Tombstone's face as he holds Alexis close. Jynx slides into the ring, embracing Eric and smiling up at him. Both of them watch the reunited couple on the outside as they say absolutely nothing to each other, enjoying the moment in each other's arms.

Sam
Alexis has been gone for almost a year. We haven't seen her since that baseball bat to the head that RAW gave her.

Mac
No need to bring that up...

Lana
That baseball bat gave her amnesia. But you know... she seems to know exactly who she is and who's in front of her right now.

Sam
I'd love to know where she's been all this time and why Tombstone couldn't find her, but I guess at this moment and on this night, none of that matters. All that matters is they are back together.

Tombstone looks into the ring at Eric and Jynx, nodding at both of them. Eric and Jynx nod back, big smiles on their faces. Alexis wipes a tear from her eye and slides into the ring, hugging both Eric and Jynx. Tombstone gets in as well, wrapping his arms around both Jynx and Eric, squeezing them perhaps a bit too tightly. Travis Blaine walks out on the stage, a microphone in his hand as he smiles. He begins clapping, getting the attention of everyone in the ring.

Travis Blaine
Eric, I don't know how you did it and I don't really care. Good job on finding her. And as great as this moment is, I have an idea to make it better. I just want to run it by you guys. You see, Tombstone, I contacted Eric a few days ago about what was happening tonight as well. And when I told him that I was going to contact you, he told me that he was just about to do that because of that pretty little lady on your arm right now. And that's when I had the idea of reuniting the two of you tonight. It's a bittersweet night tonight. And I'm trying to make it as memorable as possible. And that's when I had another idea, one that I kept from the both of you. Look up.

Tombstone and Eric look up, seeing the Hell in a Cell hanging above the ring. The crowd begins to buzz with excitement as Stone and Eric look back up at Travis.

Travis Blaine
The two of you have put on some of the best matches this company has ever seen. And on this night, before the doors shut for good, I want to see one... more... match. That Cell is there for you two. I want to see the both of you battle each other inside that. What do you guys say? You up for it?

Eric and Stone look at each other, a small smirk inching across Eric's face. Stone gets a small smile of his own as the crowd begins to chant.

ONE MORE MATCH! ONE MORE MATCH! ONE MORE MATCH!

***

Tombstone vs Eric Donavan

Tombstone and Eric nod at each other and Alexis and Jynx smile, quickly exiting the ring. The crowd explodes as Travis nods his head, waving a hand in the air. The Cell begins to lower as Stone removes his robes and Eric removes his coat, both of them tossing them over the ropes. Security quickly runs down and takes Stone's horse backstage as the Cell continues to lower slowly.

Sam
Can you believe this?!? An impromptu Hell in a Cell match! And here it comes!

Mac
How did it get here?

Lana
Don’t ask, just enjoy.

Tombstone and Eric Donavan stare each other down as the cell closes in round them. The crowd is buzzing as they prepare for this fifth one on one battle between these two rivals and best friends. Alexis and Jynx look on as Stone and Eric separate. The cell is down and as the referee’s lock the door...

LIFE IS A MYSTERY...

EVERYONE MUST STAND ALONE...

I HEAR YOU CALL MY NAME...

AND IT FEELS LIKE... HOME...

Bombtrack wheels out onto the stage to a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Sam
I didn’t know Bombtrack was in the building.

Mac
I did.

Lana
How did you know?

Mac
I saw his short bus pull into the parking lot.

Sam
Fair enough.

Bombtrack wheels towards the announce table and tells Lana to take a hike. Lana Wu reluctantly gets up and walks to sit beside Penny Lane as Bombtrack wheels into his spot at the end of the table beside Mac.

Sam
I guess he’ll be joining us.

Mac
Yippie.

Sam
It’s great to see you Bombtrack. This is the first time we’ve seen you since your accident in February.

Bombtrack
It’s great to be here Sam. I heard a rumor that Tombstone and Eric Donavan were going to be here tonight and I couldn’t miss this potential fifth and deciding match.

Sam
Let’s get to it.

The bell rings and the match is on! Stone ad Eric circle each other. Stone backs Eric into a corner, goes for a clothesline, but Donavan ducks and hits a german suplex. Eric rolls his hips and gets back up to the mat with Stone still holding onto his waist from behind. He attempts to lift Stone up for another german, but Stone fires some elbows to Eric’s skull causing Eric to release him. Stone whips Eric into the ropes, picks him up for a sidewalk slam, but Donavan spins around and is able to take Tombstone down with a hurricanrana into a cover.

Sam
Great counter by Eric Donavan.

Bombtrack
That's what he does best.

Knowing Stone all too well, Eric gets right up and clubs Stone into the turnbuckles. Donavan unleashes a fury of stiff knife edge chops and the crowd counts along.

Bombtrack
I’ve felt this before and it fucking sucks.

Sam
Language!

Bombtrack
It’s PPV and rated 14 A, so let’s fucking do this!

Mac
Fuck yeah!

Sam
Boys!

The crowd loses count as Donavan strikes Stone well over fifteen times. Donavan walks to the opposite turnbuckles and charges at Stone, but Tombstone bursts out of the corner and blasts Eric with a nasty big boot. Stone takes a few moments to recover from the onslaught of knife edge chops. When Donavan gets to his feet, Stone whips him into the ropes, but Donavan grabs a hold of the ropes and slides to the outside.

Sam
Smart move by Eric Donavan as Tombstone was looking like he was about to build some momentum.

Donavan shakes the cobwebs as Jynx is there beside him on the other side of the cell cheering him on. Stone rolls out of the ring near Donavan, so Eric turns a corner and slides back into the ring. As Stone gets back into the ring, Donavan pounces on him and is able to back him into the turnbuckles. Again Donavan begins to unleash a fury of knife edge chops to Tombstone’s already beet red chest. Another fifteen to twenty chops and Eric lets Stone crumble to the mat.

Mac
Eric Donavan is ruthless.

Bombtrack
You've got to be against Tombstone.

Eric gets Stone up and hits him hard in the face three times before running off the ropes. He runs at Stone with the Irish Uppercut, but Stone counters with a back shattering spinebuster! Wisely, Donavan rolls to the outside near where Alexis is standing. Tombstone rolls out of the ring and gets Donavan back to his feet. He grabs Eric by his arm and whips him hard into the cell face first. Eric hits it and bounce back towards Stone. He picks Eric up onto his shoulders and launches Donavan face first into the cell!

Sam
Donavan is busted open.

Bombtrack
That's not good so early in the match.

Jynx can hardly watch as blood drips down her husband’s face. Stone gets Eric up and grinds his face into the cage, then slams him on the ring steps taking him down to the floor. Stone picks Donavan up and rolls him into the ring, but keeps his head sticking outside the ring. Tombstone looks under the ring and takes out a steel chair which he places over Donavan’s face. Stone climbs up onto the apron and lunges for a leg drop, but stops, looks at the top topes and begins to climb.

Sam
Oh no, what is he thinking.

Mac
Oh shit.

Tombstone leaps off the top ropes and LEG DROPS THE CHAIR DRIVING IT INTO ERIC DONAVAN’S FACE! Stone lands very hard on the outside, but the damage done to Donavan is far worse. Both men are down on the outside of the ring.

HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Sam
Jynx is beside herself right now!

Bombtrack
I’m sure glad it wasn’t my face under that chair.

Tombstone gets back up to his feet then picks Donavan back up. He tosses Donavan into the ring steps separating them. Stone backs up to catch his breath as Donavan slowly gets back up to his feet. Eric gets a burst of energy and charges at Stone, but Tombstone ducks and back body drops Eric into the cage and Donavan lands hard on the back of his neck and is laid out on the outside. Stone waits for Donavan to get back to his feet and when he does Stone runs at him, but Eric drop toe holds him into the cage! Eric bear hugs Stone and drives him hard into the ring post and then hard into the corner of the cell and both men are down.

Bombtrack
Tombstone's back just took a lot of punishment.

Sam
That could be key in the late stages of this match.

Donavan is back on his feet and picks up the steel chair that has his blood stained on it and looks at Stone sitting in the corner of the cell dazed. Donavan runs, leaps into the air, puts the chair under his feet and drives the chair into Stone’s face. Donavan gets back up, picks up the chair and cracks it hard over Stone’s face!

Mac
Eric Donavan absolutely blasted Tombstone!

Bombtrack
A little revenge for that leg drop.

Eric gets Stone back into the ring and makes the cover.

Tombstone kicks out! Eric gets back to his feet and wipes the blood from his face as Stone uses the ropes to pull himself back up. Eric walks over to Stone and hits him with a solid right hand to the jaw. Eric fires a second punch, but Stone blocks it and strikes Eric a shot of his own. The two exchange punches, until Donavan gains the upper hand and back Stone into the turnbuckles. He lifts Stone up onto the top turnbuckle and climbs up with him. Donavan reaches up and grabs a hold of a beam of cell and swings from it to boot Stone in the face. Eric takes a huge swing and lunges at Stone with his legs for a hurricanrana, but Tombstone counters with a Eulogy off the top ropes and both men are down!

Bombtrack
Tombstone has got to pin Donavan right here.

Stone crawls over to Donavan and makes the cover.

Mac
Eric Donavan kicks out!

Sam
I thought that was it, but I should know better when it comes to these two.

Donavan rolls to the outside as Tombstone gets back up to his feet inside the ring. Eric uses the cage to get back to his feet as Stone bounces off the ropes. The moment Eric gets to his feet, Stone suicide dives through the ropes taking Donavan hard into the cell near where Jynx is making her jump back. Tombstone walks over to previous separated steps and picks a second up. Donavan gets back up on his feet and Stone runs at him with the stairs, but Donavan Dragon Fang’s the stairs knocking them down on Tombstone!

Bombtrack
That backfired.

Sam
Donavan hurt his foot on that, but the damage done to Tombstone was worse.

Donavan picks up the section of stairs and now he waits for Stone to get back to his feet. When he does, Donavan runs at Stone and absolutely obliterates TOMBSTONE IN THE FACE WITH STEEL STAIRS HITTING HIM WITH THE CORNER!

NE DUB! NE DUB! NE DUB!

Blood immediately pours from Tombstone’s face like a facet as Alexis screams out in horror.

Bombtrack
HOLY FUCK!

Mac
Tombstone tried to duck and the corner of the stairs caught him right in the face and punctured at hole! THERE’S A HOLE IN HIS FUCKING FACE!

Sam
Look at all that blood.

Donavan still with the stairs in his grasp looks down at Stone then tosses the steps to the floor. He gets Stone to his feet and rolls his lifeless body into the ring. Donavan gets back into the ring and makes the cover.

Sam
TOMBSTONE KICKS OUT!

Bombtrack
The man isn’t human.

Tombstone’s face is covered with blood and more keeps rushing out from the nasty gash. Eric is up first and stalks Stone as he uses the ropes to get back to his feet. Donavan strikes him in the face and Stone immediately returns the favor. Eric lands a second stiff punch and again Tombstone immediately responds with a shot of his own. The two rivals break out into a bloody slugfest. Eric, Stone, Eric, Stone, Eric, Stone, Eric, Stone, Eric, Stone, Eric, Stone, Eric, Stone, Eric, Stone, Stone, Eric, Eric, Stone, Stone, Eric, Eric, Eric, Stone, Stone and Tombstone goes for a knockout punch, but Donavan ducks, grabs Stone from behind and nails a dragon suplex. Donavan rolls his hips and rises back up with Stone and nails a second dragon suplex. Eric rolls his hips again, rises with Tombstone and completes the Three-Headed Dragon with a third dragon suplex into a cover.

Tombstone kicks out!

Sam
Here we go again.

Mac
Man I LOVE Eric Donavan versus Tombstone matches,

Bombtrack
Me too, Mac.

Stone is back up and is against the turnbuckles as Alexis is shaking the cage yelling at Stone to shake it off. Eric walks in ready to strike with knife edge chops again, but Stone blocks the first attempt and drills Donavan in the face with a forearm. Donavan fires back, but again Stone blocks it and hits a forearm smash knocking Donavan back. Eric runs at Stone, but Stone lifts Donavan in the air and drops him with a military press slam. Stone leans up against the ropes as Donavan slowly gets back to his feet using the turnbuckles. Stone runs at Donavan and Eric lunges for a Dragon Fang, but misses because Stone only ran a few steps sucking Eric in. Tombstone grabs Eric with both hands around Donavan’s throat, lifts him into the air and drives Eric really hard into the mat with a ring shaking double handed chokeslam!

Sam
Tombstone knew Donavan would go for the Dragon Fang.

Bombtrack
That’s what happens when you have the kinds of battles these do have.

Tombstone makes the cover.

Eric Donavan kicks out!

Tombstone now stalks Donavan as Eric scratches his way back to his feet. Stone has to wipe the blood from his eyes so he can see as Donavan makes it to his feet. Donavan stumbles towards Stone in a daze and as Tombstone goes for a kick to the gut to set up the Graveyard Shift, Eric suddenly rolls under Stone’s foot. A surprised Tombstone is grabbed by Donavan and lifted into an upside down belly to belly and spiked with a piledriver!

Sam
The Irish Hangover!

Bombtrack
Eric Donavan knew Tombstone was going to attempt the Graveyard Shift and sucked him in!

Donavan makes the cover.

3!

NO! TOMBSTONE KICKS OUT!

Sam
I can’t believe it, but I should.

Bombtrack
Tombstone wasn’t moving at all until the referee’s arm was a split second away from counting three.

Eric and Stone slowly get back up to their feet.

Mac
DRAGON FANG!

Sam
Where did that come from?

Donavan makes the cover.

3!

NO!

Sam
TOMBSTONE KICKED OUT!

Bombtrack
Further proof that he isn’t human.

Jynx is in disbelief and Alexis wipes some sweat off from her face. Eric knows what he needs to do to defeat Tombstone so he slides to the outside, gets the steel chair then gets back into the ring. He looks at a bloody Tombstone then looks at the chair. Eric raises the chair over his head, but hesitates to use it. Donavan slams the chair onto the mat and yells at Tombstone to get back up.

Bombtrack
Eric doesn’t want to use that chair.

Sam
No, he wants to defeat Tombstone the old fashioned way.

The two meet in the middle of the ring for another slugfest and even though both men are exhausted, each punch lands very effectively. Eric backs up and fake lunges with a Dragon Fang to get Tombstone to duck. When Stone ducks, Donavan grabs him for a Hellspike DDT, but Stone quickly escapes, boots Donavan in the gut and nails a high impact Eulogy!

Mac
Tombstone got him!

Stone makes the cover.

3!

NO!

Sam
ERIC DONAVAN KICKED OUT!

Bombtrack
How do these guys do it!

Tombstone gets back to his feet, blood still dripping off his face and he gets Donavan back to his feet. Stone underhooks both of Eric’s arms, lifts him up, jumps high into the air and spikes Donavan’s head into the mat with a Graveyard Shift and is very quick to make the cover.

1...

2...

...

3!

NO! ERIC DONAVAN KICKS OUT!

THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!

Sam
How do these guys keep topping every match?!

Donavan lies motionless on the mat as a bloody Tombstone looks down on him. Stone gets Donavan back up, underhooks his arms and drives his skull into the mat with another Graveyard Shift.

Mac
That has got to be it.

Bombtrack
One would think so.

Jynx is screaming for Eric to get back up, but he doesn’t move. Stone doesn’t go for a cover, but lifts Donavan back to his feet instead. Stone lifts Donavan onto his shoulder and climbs backwards up the turnbuckles to the top ropes. STONE JUMPS OFF THE TOP ROPES WITH A MODIFIED GRAVEYARD SHIFT THROUGH THE FUCKING RING!

HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Sam, Mac and Bombtrack
HOLY SHIT!

Tombstone crawls out from the hole in the ring and pulls Eric Donavan out with him and makes the cover.

2...

...

3!

Sam
It’s over...

Bombtrack
What a match!

Mac
I really hope someone brought an extra mat for the ring or the rest of this pay per view is going to be really awkward.

Bombtrack
It’s covered.

Penny Lane
Here is your winner... TOMBSTONE!

The cell rises and Jynx and Alexis immediately get into the ring. Alexis has a towel has wipes the blood off Stone’s face, as Jynx gently taps Eric’s face to wake him.

Bombtrack
These two guys have had five of the best matches I’ve had the privilege to write in my fifteen year efed career.

Sam
E-fed career?

Bombtrack
Just let the wall break, Sam. Tombstone and Eric Donavan were huge for me when I was running the fed and I thank them both for all their hard work. I won’t ever forget the wars between you guys. Thank Shane and thank you Chris for your wonderful characters and amazing roleplays. Eric versus Stone will always be something I’ll remember and look back on fondly as I’ve saved all the rps and matches. Love you guys!

Mac
Fourth wall shattered.

Tombstone is back on his feet and helps Donavan get back up to his. The two embrace in the hug and their woman join in.

THANK YOU TOMBSTONE! THANK YOU ERIC! THANK YOU TOMBSTONE! THANK YOU ERIC!

Donavan raises Tombstone’s arm in victory.

Sam
Classy to the very end.

Bombtrack
It was a close battle, but Chris won the AIM rock, paper, scissor match three games to zero.

Mac
A shutout huh?

Bombtrack
That’s the way it goes sometimes. Once again, it was a pleasure writing these matches between two on my favourite e-fed characters of all time. NE FUCKING DUB!

THANK YOU TOMBSTONE! THANK YOU ERIC! THANK YOU TOMBSTONE! THANK YOU ERIC!

James Stall is standing backstage with his arm on the wall and his head resting on that arm when Travis Blaine comes walking up to him.

Travis Blaine
You ready?

James Stall pushes himself away from the wall.

James Stall
Ready as I’ll ever be. I like my chances of winning.

Travis Blaine
This isn’t just about winning. Remember Nikki. There’s a nice bonus for you if you take care of Kerryn.

Stall looks down at the blank check Travis is holding in his hand and then back at the owner of New Era.

James Stall
You really want this, Travis? You really want that James Stall walking out there?

Travis Blaine
I want whatever James Stall will punish the man who hurt my niece.

Stall reaches out and snatches the check from Travis Blaine’s hands. He tears it in two and tosses the pieces to the floor.

James Stall
Keep your money. I’ll beat Kerryn. I owe Nikki that much.

Stall brushes past Travis and walks away down the hall.

Kerryn Kali vs James Stall

James Stall goes to hook up with Kerryn, but Kerryn slips behind him and mule kicks Stall in the back of the knee. Stall hobbles and turns around, but Kerryn also spins and nails him with a roundhouse kick that sends Stall staggering toward the ropes. Kerryn jumps at Stall, but Stall manages to duck and pull down the ropes sending Kerryn over. However, Kerryn manages to keep himself on the apron, and as Stall steps forward Kerryn jumps off the ropes and catches him with a bulldog.

Lana
That dangerous speed of Kerryn Kahli is already causing Stall trouble.

Sam
But Kerryn’s going to have to keep this pressure up because if Stall gets his hands on him he’s got a massive power advantage.

Stall rolls over and sits up, grabbing at his head, and Kerryn snaps off a quick kick that lays out Stall once more leaving him vulnerable to a running knee drop from Kerryn. Kerryn springs to his feet and hits a quick pair of elbow drops before finishing his attack with a standing moonsault and cover.

1…

2…

Stall kicks out.

Sam
There was no way Kerryn was going to put Stall away that early.

Mac
It’s Kerryn’s arrogance, Sam. He doesn’t take Stall all that seriously, thinks he’s all washed up.

Lana
I love watching Kerryn work though. He’s so fast like a graceful humming bird.

Sam

More like a mosquito.

Kerryn kips up and waits for Stall to climb to his feet before hitting Stall square in the chest with a dropkick. Stall takes a solitary steps backward, and Kerryn comes at him with another dropkick. Stall takes a few more steps backward, but he still doesn’t fall down. Kerryn takes a long run and goes for another dropkick, but this time Stall gets his hands up and knocks Kerryn away. Kerryn goes to kip up again, but Stall quickly flattens him with a big boot.

Sam
Boom! And that mosquito just got flattened by a rhino.

Kerryn manages to roll himself over just in time to avoid and stomp to the chest from Stall. He continues to roll up onto his feet, and Stall runs at him with a clothesline, but Kerryn ducks it. Stall spins back around, and goes to protect his head from another kick, but Kerryn surprises him with a dropkick that takes Stall out at the knees.

Lana
Can’t keep Kerryn Kahli down for long. The hummingbird rises like a phoenix!

Sam
I hope Stall squashes him like a bug.

Mac
You gals are really working to extend those metaphors
.

Before Stall can get up, Kerryn jumps and hits a double stomp on Stall’s back. Stall rolls over, and Kerryn hits him with a running senton. Kerryn gets to his feet and jumps on Stall with a splash and cover.

1…

2….

Stall presses Kerryn and tosses him behind his head.

Sam
And there’s the strength of James Stall.

Mac
Impressive. Most impressive.

Lana
But it won’t count for jack when Kerryn wins in the end.

Stall climbs to his feet, and Kerryn goes to take him down with a leg lariat, but Stall manages to sidestep and avoid it. Kerryn gets to his feet, and Stall catches him with a belly to belly suplex. Kerryn rolls over and tries to crawl to his feet, but Stall hooks him from behind with a German suplex. Kerryn rolls over again, and this time he does manage to get to his feet, but this time Stall grabs him and Irish Whips him toward the ropes. As Kerryn bounces off the ropes, Stall catches him with a powerslam. He then lifts Kerryn up, hoists him over his head and hits Kerryn with a gorilla press gutbuster. He hits Kerryn with a second gutbuster before lifting him up into the air and nailing him with a gorilla press slam. He hooks Kerryn’s leg.

1…

2….

Kerryn kicks out.

Lana
Not so fast, bitch! Kerryn kicks out.

Stall gets up and kicks Kerryn in the ribs. He goes to grab Kerryn’s head and pick him up, but Kerryn pulls Stall forward into a small package pin!

1…

He grabs the tights!

2….

Stall kicks out!

Sam
Hah! Even with the tights grabbed, Stall powers out of that pin.

Mac
Hmmm, I approve of Kerryn’s tactics, but I do enjoy Stall’s raw power.

Lana
This isn’t the dating game, Mac.

Stall climbs to his feet, but this time Kerryn does manage to take him down with a leg lariat. Stall crawls forward and Kerryn hits him with a bulldog before jumping back over Stall’s head and torso and landing with a double stomp on Stall’s legs. He hits a leg drop across the back of Stall’s knees, and then after a final kick to the knee, Kerryn hooks Stall’s legs with the EZ Ride Her.

Sam
EZ Ride Her! He stole that sharpshooter from Linnea Lacroix!

Lana
Borrowed. He borrowed it.

Mac
Borrowed or stolen, both Kerryn and Stall know the meaning of that move. Kerryn’s not just trying to win. He’s trying to get inside Stall’s head.

Stall slams his fist against the ground and goes to power his way out of the move, but Kerryn is relentless and manages to keep Stall trapped in the hold. Stall instead starts to claw his way toward the ropes. Kerryn tightens his hold and pulls Stall backward, but Stall slams his fist against the mat again. He refuses to give up and crawls forward once again. Kerryn tries to tighten his hold, but with one final lunge Stall manages to grab the bottom rope.

1…

2…..

3….

4….

Kerryn lets go.

Stall uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Kerryn runs and Stall and hits him with a jumping forearm that causes Stall to collapse against the ropes. He takes a few steps back and runs at him with a second forearm, but Stall drops his shoulder and dumps Kerryn over the ropes. Kerryn lands on his feet on the apron and hits Stall with an elbow. Stall staggers backward, and Kerryn comes off the top rope with a crossbody, but Stall catches him and hits him with a fall away slam. Kerryn climbs to his feet, and Stall devastates him with a clothesline!

Mac
Wow! Kerryn just went end over end!

Sam
That’s what I want to see!

Stall wastes little time and picks Kerryn up and into a Sergeant Spinebuster. He covers!

1…..

2…..

3- No! Kerryn kicks out!

Lana
He lives! Kerryn lives! Now go get Stall!

Stall climbs up and staggers backward his legs still wobbly from Kerryn’s sharpshooter. He takes a few moment to catch his breath before and wait for Kerryn to get up, but Kerryn remains lifeless on the floor. Stall walks over to pick him up, but Kerryn swings his leg and kicks Stall in the head before catching him with a school boy pin.

1….

2….

Kerryn tries to pull on the tights again, but Stall kicks out.

Mac
Kerryn is one crafty son of a bitch, but it hasn’t been enough to put Stall away so far.

Sam
Playing dirty can only get you so far when your opponent is strong enough to break you in half.

Stall sits up, but Kerryn is quick with a enziguri that lays him out once again. He follows with a quick knee drop to Stall’s chest. Now it is Kerryn’s turn to stand and wait for Stall to get up. Stall climbs to his feet, and turns around. Kerryn kicks him in the stomach and then hits him with the Fatal Frame! He covers.

1….

2…..

Kerryn lifts Stall’s shoulder up and breaks the count.

Mac
What is he doing? Kerryn Kahli had this match won!

Lana
He’s proving a point.

Mac
Is his point that he’s stupid?

Lana
No. It’s that Stall is weak. WEAK!

Kerryn wags his finger at the referee and then climbs over Stall. He grabs Stall by the sides of his head and slams his head into the mat before slapping him several times across the face. He slams Stall’s head against the mat again and follows up with several more slaps. Finally he picks Stall up, knees him in the stomach and hits him with a second Fatal Frame!

Sam
No! No! No!

But instead of covering Stall, Kerryn simply stand over him with his hands on his knees laughing at him.

Mac
What the- Pin him, you moron!

Lana
He can put Stall away at any time he wants, and he’s letting Stall know that.

The boos from the crowd rain down on him, and Kerryn looks up and soaks them all in. He steps on Stall as he crosses over to the ring ropes. Kerryn pulls the top rope down and leans backward with his arm outstretched toward the fallen Stall. He shouts to the crowd: “Look at him! Look at what I’ve done to him!”

Sam
This is shameless.

Lana
Let the man have his moment, Sam.

Suddenly, James Stall sits up draw a huge pop from the crowd. Kerryn turns around and looks at Stall wide-eyed. He runs his fingers through his hair and shakes his head.

Lana
Crap.

Mac
Kerryn Kahli looks like he’s just seen a ghost.

Kerryn smacks his own face and then angrily runs at Stall. As Stall is climbing to his feet, Kerryn punces on him with punch after punch, but Stall continues to rise. Stall stands and connects with a Europena Uppercut. Kerryn staggers backward, but he quickly charges forward again with several more fast punches thrown at Stall. Stall stumbles momentarialy, but he manages to catch Kerryn’s fist in his left hand. With his right hand he catches Kerryn by the throat.

Lana
Double crap.

Mac
Oh, Kerryn, you really should have pinned Stall while you had the chance.

Sam
Cause now he’s gonna kill you.

Stall lifts Kerryn up and nails him with a chokeslam! Kerryn tries to sit up, but Stall drills him with a boot. He begins to stomp away at Kerryn. Kerryn rolls over. He tries to crawl away, but Stall grabs Kerryn by the hair. Stall then shoves Kerryn between his legs before hoisting him into the air. Kerryn shakes his head furiously but to no avail as Stall hits him with a massive extended arm Powerbomb!

Mac
Down he goes! That had to hurt.

Sam
Whoo!

Stall stumbles backward and collapses against the ropes. He’s breathing heavily and clutching at his head.

Mac
Stall mustered up a lot of moment, but those Fatal Frames have taken quite a toll. Can he finish off Kerryn?

Lana
No he cannot. NO. HE. CAN. NOT!

Stall shakes the ropes and screams before turning around and pounding his chest. Kerryn staggers to his feet. He makes one last suicide run at Stall, but Stall staggers him with a European Uppercut and then hits him with the Sergeant Spinebuster. He picks Kerryn up and hits him with a t-bone suplex. He keeps the hold locked and nails a secon, then a third. Stall is gasping for air as he pulls Kerryn up once more, but he digs deep and manages to nails a fourth t-bone suplex, completing the Shoot to Thrill before collapsing onto his opponent.

Sam
Shoot to Thrill! SHOOT TO THRILL!

1….

2….

3!

Mac
Stall wins!

Lana
No! No! NO!

Sam
Yes! Yes! YES!

Mac
It’s been since the last Vindication, but James Stall finally has another Pay-Per-View win.

Stall is still on top of Kerryn for a few seconds before he manages to roll himself over. The exhausted Ayatollah of Aggression lays out on his back for a few more moments staring blankly at the ceiling as the crowd rewards his hard fought win with applause. When he finally sits up that applause grows. Stall uses the referee to climb to his feet and then staggers toward the ropes. He climbs under them and raises an arm to thank the crowd as he slowly makes his way to the back.

Backstage, we spot the World Champion leaned up against a wall, when a battered and exhausted James Stall staggers into view.

James Stall
Hey, just wanted to talk, ya know, since we might not ever get another chance.

Stall takes a moment to catch his breath, as Romeo gets off the wall and stands tall, staring at his long time rival.

Romeo Stylez
Congrats on beating Kerryn Kali. I mean, I did it better, but a win is a win right?

James lets out a soft laugh, as he runs his hand through his sweaty hair.

James Stall
Listen, I just wanted to say, that it was an honor getting to compete with you over the last few years. And if things have to end tonight, I hope they end with you as the World Champ.

James Stall extends his hand.

Romeo Stylez
I guess this is where I'm supposed to be all humble and return the favor right? Truth be told, I don't like you James. You want some more honesty? I'm better than you, a better man, and a better champion.

Stall can't believe it, the last time he's gonna see Romeo, and he gets shot down like this. Or does he? Before James can bring his hand down, Romeo throws his hand forward and shakes it anyway.

Romeo Stylez
I don't like you James, but I do respect you, and as far as being better than you, it's only because you pushed me. Without James Stall, I never climb any higher than middle of the pack comedic relief guy. So thanks James, for making me, the best thing going today.

I guess that'll have to do, as Romeo pats James Stall on the back, and walks off. James shakes his head, still struggling to believe how that went down, but then his body reminds him of how much pain he is in, as he staggers off into the sunset.

North American Championship Match
Maksimilian(c) vs Frederick Alexnader Grayson

"Becoming the Bull" hits, and the audience comes to their feet as the North American Champion debuts from behind the curtain.

Penny Lane
The Following Match is for the North American Championship, and scheduled for one-fall. Introducing first... he is NEWera's North American Champion... MAAAAKSIMILIAN!

Wearing a grey fur cloak over his body and standing facing the ring, Maksimilian soaks in the warm reception from the crowd. At the first vocal hit he drops the cloak to reveal his ring attire, going into a front double biceps pose as pyros erupt to either side and golden flakes rain down above him.

Mac
No way is gay boy ending his run at NEWera beating this guy!

Lana
My God... he glistens...

When the lyrics come up, Maksimilian starts striding down the ramp, cracking his knuckles and brushing flakes off his shoulders, flicking them playfully toward the crowd. The grin never leaves his face. He stops at the bottom, regarding the ring, a maniacal look coming into his eyes as he slaps his chest with each hand, claps three times, and erupts forward to leap onto the apron, grab the top rope, and swing himself over it.

From there he runs forward, bounces off the ropes twice, and props one foot on the middle rope to flex toward the crowd with his back arm cocked up and the other thrust out with fingers spread until his music dies down.

Penny Lane
And his opponent... FREDERIIICK ALEEEEEXANDER GRAAAAAYSON!!!

"Come With Me Now" by The Kongos begins to play as The Cool Guy comes running out full of energy as the crowd cheers for him. He has a huge smile on his face and you can't help but want to like the guy. Freddy gets into the ring, climbs to the second turnbuckle and raises his arm smiling at the crowd.

Mac
A miscommunication between these two competitors lead to a heated argument after these two lost a match together... which brings us here tonight as these two gays--guys... go head to head.

Lana
Don't meant head to Frederick. He gets excited.

The referee calls for the bell and the match is officially underway. Maksimilian puts his hands up in the air challenging Frederick to a test of strength. As Grayson attempts to connect hands with Makari, he gets kicked in shin, kneed in the gut and taken down with a Suplex!

Sam
Well, Maks isn't playing nice...

Maksimilian hooks the leg for the cover:

ONE!!! Grayson easily gets the shoulder up, not giving in so early in the match.

Mac
Maksimilian is strong and everything, but that was cocky to go for the pin right away like that.

Grayson is back up, and takes Makari down with a hip toss, but Maksim gets right back up. This time Maksimilian takes Freddie down with a hip toss and FAG shoots right back up. Maksimilian immediately kicks Grayson hard in the stomach. He follows by lifting Freddie up and into a quick Samoan Drop. He goes to drag Grayson up to his feet, but Frederick rolls away and comes to the ropes -picking himself back up to his feet. Maks advances, and comes at his opponent with a fiery temper. Swinging wide, Frederick is nearly cut down as Makari lets loose a barrage of closed fists. The ref forces him off, prompting Maksimilian to argue with him in Russian. Grayson recovers, but Makari isn't unaware of this and runs a knee into his midsection as he ceases his argument with the referee. Grayson falls back into the corner. Maks then pummels at the body with rights and lefts and a few knee lifts for good measure. The Russian then takes Grayson by his head and tosses him to the canvas. Pounding his chest triumphants, Makari acts as though he has this one already won.

Mac
No love lost between these two competitors since last week, that's for certain.

Sam
Maksimilian seems overconfident. Which... he's shown that he's justified in being so in the past, but still. Better not to take Grayson lightly, here.

Grayson gets to his feet but is quickly lifted up and slammed down for a gutwrench facebuster. Maksim then kicks Grayson hard in the gut, and forces him out of the ring. Frederick hits the ground on all fours as Makari follows him out. Fred slowly uses the barricade to get to his feet but is booted in the midsection. Grayson is hunched over. This allows Maks to take him by his head and slam him down hard on the barricade. Grayson falls back to the ground. Maks takes Grayson again and throws him into the ringpost.

Mac
Maksimilian is really letting loose.

Lana
What a powerhouse!

Makari slides his opponent back into the ring and makes the cover...

ONE!!!

TWO--kickout!

Sam
No pinfall, there.

Lana
I wish Maks would cover me like that...

Maksimilian sits FAG up and bounces off the ropes sending a boot to the face. He covers him again.

ONE!!!

TWO--another kickout!

Mac
Queer boy isn't making this easy...

Sam
He's certainly holding on.

Frustrated, Maksimilian goes in for the sleeper. Wrenching it back tightly, he seeks to wear Frederick down. He wrenches it tight. Grayson holds his hands up to fight against it... and the crowd, surprisingly, rallies behind him.

Mac
Wow... this crowd is actually turning against the Tsar Bomba!

Sam
First time for everything?

Lana
Morons...

Eventually, Grayson's arms fall limp. The referee steps in, raising the arms. Once, they fall. Twice, again. A third time... Grayson fights back!

Sam
Frederick is still in this!

The crowd fully rallies behind Grayson now, lending their support. FAG turns to his right slightly and elbows Makari over and over again in the midsection and chest. He muscles to one knee and then both feet. His elbows pay off as Maks lets go. Grayson comes off the ropes and takes out the legs of Maksimilian with a low angled drop kick!

Mac
Going down low, smart tactic...

Lana
And one that I bet he's used to...

Maks is down, however herolls out of the ring right away. Grayson sizes him up and dives through the ropes --- taking him down to the ground! Grayson pops up and brings the Russian to his feet tossing him back inside. Maksim rolls to his feet, shaking his head and turns into a spinning back kick. Maksimilian hunches over... allowing Grayson to nail him with a snap DDT followed by a pin attempt!

ONE!!!

TWO--kickout from Maks!

Sam
Grayson is really coming back strong, this could be a good one!

Maksimilian gets to his feet and this time catches the foot of Frederick Alexander Grayson, only for "The Cool Guy" to nail him across the side of the head with a spinning wheel kick! FAG then comes off the ropes and delivers a running senton followed by a hook of the leg!

ONE!!!

TWO---kickout!

Lana
Maks won't be taken down so easily!

Makari rolls over and Freddie looks to lock in the crippler crossface but Maks makes it to the ropes and hangs on. The ref forces Fred off. Grayson goes to contest it for a moment, but then turns to Maks who rakes his eyes. Grayson stumbles around holding his face.

Mac
Looks like Maksie isn't afraid to go dirty on this one, I like it!

Maks grabs Fred from behind, locking his arms behind his head and takes him up and over for a full nelson suplex! Grayson sits up and falls back. Maks hits the canvas and hooks the leg.

ONE!!!

TWO--kickout!

Lana
Officially bored by the two-count kickouts.

Frederick is brought to his feet for a float over DDT! Grayson gets to his knees allowing Maksim to springboard off the ropes and hit another DDT! He makes another cover as the audience tries to motivate Grayson more.

ONE!!!

TWO!!!

TH-Grayson gets the shoulder up!

Lana
Come on, give up already...

Sam
That title is oddly encouraging for our competitors to press on...

Mac
Especially since whoever leaves a Champion tonight will go down in history as NEWera's last Champion of that title...

While Grayson is still laid out, Maks begins going up high.

Sam
Well this isn't something you see every day...

Makari takes flight and goes for a shooting star press, but Grayson is able to roll out of the way just before impact! Maks crashes, and eats the canvas bad! The crowd erupts as Maksimilian sits up holding his ribs and then falls back over.

Mac
Oh man, that one little maneuver could have costed Maks everything just now!

Sam
The balls is definitely in Freddie's court now!

"The Cool Guy" is up and stalking Maks around the ring. He's waving his hand up and down for the Russian to get up. Slowly, Maks is able to get to his feet and turns around ---where Grayson lifts him onto his shoulders for a Firemans carry. Maks, however, wiggles free and lands behind his opponent. Fred spins around where Maks goes for a disqus clothesline but FAG ducks it and takes Maks up for a fallaway slam... only for Maksim to flip out of his arms in a 360 and go for a clothesline to the back of the head. Grayson, however, ducks and Maks runs forward hitting nothing. He turns around and is nearly hit with a Savate kick but the foot is caught. Maksimilian spins Grayson around and goes to German suplex him but now Frederick flips out behind Maks. Grayson springs off the ropes for a springboard crossbody but Maksim is able to catch him. He goes to run and slam Grayson back first into the turnbuckle but Frederick slips free and Maks goes running chest first into the turnbuckle! He stumbles around and is hit with a Whoa Baby! The fans go crazy!

Mac
Gay Boy actually has the upper hand!

FAG drops down and makes the cover...

ONE!!!

TWO!!!

THRE -Fred thinks hes won and throws his arms up but the ref points to Maksim's leg on the bottom rope! Grayson can't believe it and buries his face in his hands.

Lana
Maksimilian displaying some brains behind the brawn!

Sam
That one was as close as it can get!

Grayson pulls Makari up but the Russian catches him with the low blow. FAG falls to his knees, his eyes shooting wide with pain. Maksimilian is up and comes off of the ropes and delivers a diving shoulder block knocking, knocking Grayson to the canvas!

Mac
Our North American Champion displaying the talent that got him the belt!

Maks signals he's going to finish it, calling out for the Tsar Bomba. Grayson uses the ropes to get to his feet and turns to face the Russian down. Maks barrels ahead and goes for the Tsar Bomba... but Grayson comes under his grasp and shoves him away! Maksim spins around only to receive another Whoa Baby!

Lana
I don't believe it!

Makari is planted to the canvas, desperately trying to recover. "The Cool Guy" Frederick Grayson comes to the corner, looking for a decisive move. He runs ahead and goes to strike Maks one last time... but eats the air! Maksimilian rolls up to his feet... and nails the TSAR BOMBA!!!

Lana
It's over!!!

Sam
I think you're right, Lana...

ONE!!!

TWO!!!

THRE-Grayson gets the shoulder up, just in the nick of time!

Mac
I can't believe it! Grayson got out of the Tsar Bomba!

Sam
Unreal!

Lana
No way!

Maksimilian can't believe it. Lifting Grayson back up to his feet, he goes for another Tsar Bomba. He can't quite hook it however, before Grayson is able to lift a knee up and catch him off guard -getting him primed for the Cool Guy Slam! Maks hits the canvas hard, and Grayson rolls him to the center where he's sure he can pin him as he hooks the leg:

ONE!!!

TWO!!!

THREE!!!

Penny Lane
Ladies and Gentlemen... NEW Era's final North American Champion... FREEEEDERICK "The Cool Guy" Graaaaayson!!!

Backstage we see the number one contender Disturbed getting ready for his match. He's got his wrestling attire on, and is jumping up and down on his toes, before cracking his neck and making his way to the ring.

We cut to another area, where Romeo Stylez is also preparing for his upcoming match. He is walking down a hall, World Championship on his shoulder. He stops in his tracks as his eyes lock on something, or someone. The camera follows him as he walks up to a mirror hanging on the wall. He looks at his reflection and taps the mirror with his finger.

Romeo Stylez
I've done my best. I just wanted to make you proud man, I hope I haven't disappointed.

It seems like the champ is talking to, and about himself, then he closes his eyes, takes in a deep breath, and looks back up before opening his eyes.

Romeo Stylez
This is for you buddy.

New Era Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship
Romeo Stylez(c) vs Disturbed

Penny Lane
The following contest is a ladder match, and is for the New Era Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship.

Apex Predator by Otep plays, all the fans boo, and Disturbed makes his way to the ring.

Lana
That is three hundred and fifty pounds of highly motivated violence.

Mac
Disturbed has been with the company since day one. He's been waiting longer than anyone else for this moment, and tonight he gets what he deserves.

Lana
Yeah, well, he's gonna have to get through Romeo Stylez first.

Disturbed enters the ring, as the sold out Sleep Train Arena continues to let Disturbed know how much they hate him. The big guy doesn't seem bothered by it, as he looks around the ring where several ladders have been laid around. Then Apex Predator fades out, and Last Train to Awesometown begins to play. The boos turn to cheers, as the fans jump to their feet.

Mac
Introducing his opponent, he is the reigning, defending, New Era Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, The Sensational One, Romeo Stylez.

The best thing going today walks out from behind the curtain, wearing a pair of cheap sunglasses and clutching the World Championship in his hands. The champ skips down the ramp, and does a lap around the ring giving all the fans a high five along the way.

Mac
I hate this guy.

Sam
The fans don't seem to share your opinion.

Lana
Well the fans aren't going to win this match for Romeo tonight.

Romeo slides into the ring, stepping up face to face with Disturbed, raising the championship as high as he can, telling the big guy he'll never win it.

Lana
Talk about tension. Things might get physical before the match ever gets started.

Mac
Fine by me, if Disturbed just beats Romeo's ass and walks out with the belt he'll be champ in my eyes.

Sam
Well if he wants it to be official, he's gonna have to wait until they get that belt hoisted above the ring and the bell rings.

The referee asks Romeo for the belt, as the rung it'll be hung on lowers. The referee straps the belt on the rung as it's raised high into the air. During the entire process Romeo and Disturbed have been talking trash to one another.

Lana
These two have talked a big game, I'm not sure either one will be able to handle defeat.

Sam
It isn't just the title on the line tonight, it's their pride.

Mac
That was such a lame thing to say Sam. Everyone knows this is all about that title.

The referee calls for the bell, Disturbed goes to throw a punch, but Romeo immediately back pedals and slides out of the ring.

Lana
So much for pride Sam.

Sam
Romeo is just being smart. He doesn't want to get blasted early like the last time these two faced off.

Mac
You mean the match where he was beaten like a red headed stepchild by Disturbed for the majority of the match?

Romeo mocks Disturbed from outside the ring, as he grabs a ladder and lays it on the apron. Disturbed rolls out of the ring, and Romeo takes off running. The two turn one corner, then another, Romeo showing a clear speed advantage. After doing an entire lap around the ring Romeo dives back into the ring. He springs up to his feet, runs off the ropes and comes back. Disturbed is still outside the ring, and goes to get on the apron, but Romeo dives and kicks the ladder he set up earlier, causing it to smash into Disturbed's face.

Sam
See, told you Romeo was a smart man. I bet he had that planned from the start.

Mac
Sounds cowardly to me. He knows he can't beat Disturbed like a man, so he runs around and plays tricks.

Lana
Either way our first official move of the match and a ladder has already come into play.

Disturbed's arms seem stuck through two separate runs of the ladder, as he holds it horizontally. Romeo launches himself over the top rope, attempting a cross body, but Disturbed catches him through the ladder itself. It appears it still hurts both men, all of Romeo's weight crashing down on the ladder damaging both Disturbed's torso as well as all of Romeo's body. Disturbed then manages to deliver a huge powerslam, Romeo landing back first onto the mat, and the ladder crashing down on top of him.

Lana
Now it's Disturbed utilizing the ladder as a weapon.

Mac
It's all Romeo's fault, the idiot wanted to bring the ladder into things, now he'll pay the price.

Sam
I believe he'll persevere, he's been through alot worse.

Disturbed smiles, while mocking the champ. With the ladder still resting on top of Romeo, Disturbed stomps down on the ladder crushing it down on Romeo's chest. The fans start to boo, and Disturbed tells Romeo to listen to them, telling the champ that his people have abandoned him. The big guy delivers another big stomp, and another, and another. Each shot driving more and more air out of the champion. The last stomp ends with Disturbed leaving his boot on the ladder pushing down at hard as he can, then, he steps up, and places his other boot on the ladder, standing on top of the ladder and just letting his weight and gravity do the work. We can hear Romeo screaming out in pain from under the ladder, as Disturbed looks out at the crowd asking them where their hero is now.

Sam
Jesus that's what, three hundred and fifty pounds of pressure?

Lana
Romeo Stylez can't win if he can't breathe.

Mac
I love it.

Disturbed finally steps off the ladder, and picks the ladder up as we get our first good view of Romeo since the powerslam. The champ has two bright red marks on his torso where two rungs of the ladder were crushing down on him. He's clutching his ribs and coughing, as he tries to gasp for air. Disturbed leans the ladder up against the ring, and looks down at Romeo with a sadistic smile on his face. He grabs Romeo by the hair and lifts him back to his feet, then throws him back first into the ladder itself. Now Romeo is leaned up against the ladder, which itself is leaned against the ring. Disturbed wraps his arms around Romeo and the ladder itself, lifting both up and squeezing in a vicious variation of a bearhug.

Lana
Well, I'm not sure I've ever seen that done before. Disturbed showing he's just as clever as the champ.

Sam
That is easily the most brutal form of a hug I've ever seen.

Mac
Disturbed is going to break Romeo and that ladder in half.

Romeo yells out in pain, Disturbed has his fingers interlocked with one another, squeezing as hard as he can. Romeo's screams turn into a whimper, then into silence, as he tries to claw at Disturbed to get him to break the hold. Romeo's struggle begins to slow, then it stops completely, as the champ goes limp. Disturbed releases the hold, Romeo collapses to the floor, and the ladder goes back to leaning against the ring. Disturbed grabs the ladder, and looks up at the championship belt high above the ring.

Lana
Disturbed looking to win the match early. With the champ down and outside the ring now is as good a time as any.

Mac
I'm not so sure he's looking to win quite yet.

Sam
What the hell is he doing?

Disturbed has propped the ladder in between the ring and lower rope, hanging on the edge of the ring as well as the barricade separating the fans from the action. He slams his hand down on the center of the ladder, to make sure it doesn't give way. Once he's got it set up to his liking, he goes back to the champ, who is barely starting to stir.

Sam
"Oh god, he can't be thinking what I think he's thinking.

Lana
I think he intended on slamming Romeo through that ladder, or atleast try anyway.

Mac
Either the ladder breaks, or the champions back down, either way works for me.

The fans go silent, everyone waiting in anticipation for the end. Disturbed lifts Romeo to his feet, tucks his head down and lifts him up for a powerbomb. Still clearly dazed from the punishment he took earlier, Romeo swings some wild and desperate right hands at the top of Disturbed's head. This is enough to bring the fans back into it, as they all cheer loudly for Romeo to find a way out. Right after right connects to Disturbed's skull, as the big guy struggles to keep balance. Romeo uses all his might to push himself up, and slides off Disturbed's shoulders landing behind the big guy. Romeo spins around quickly, before Disturbed can spot him, he uses all his might to lift the big guy up, and drops him so that the back of his legs crash across the hung ladder. Disturbed immediately falls off the ladder and hits the mat below, but it appears his left leg took the blunt of the damage, as he instinctively clutches it first.

Mac
How in the hell did Romeo get out of that!?

Sam
He didn't just escape, he turned it around and used the opportunity to inflict some damage of his own.

Lana
Most importantly though, I think he realized he hurt Disturbed's leg. I wouldn't be surprised if he targeted that leg for the rest of this match.

Lana is right, Romeo spots Disturbed holding his leg and the lightbulb goes off in his head. Romeo walks around the comer of the ring, and grabs another ladder. Disturbed uses the nearby apron to pull himself back up to his feet, but Romeo pushes the ladder into Disturbed's knee, dropping him back down to the mat. Romeo lays the ladder down around the corner, and as Disturbed tries to crawl Romeo manages to direct him towards the ladder. Romeo throws the big guy onto the ladder belly first, then picks up his left leg and slams it down on the ladder as hard as he can.

Mac
Taking out the big guy's leg, does Romeo have no shame!?

Sam
It is a wise strategy, you can't deny that.

Lana
It will be hard for Disturbed to climb a ladder with an injured leg.

Romeo lifts Disturbed's leg high into the air once again, and slams it down knee first into the ladder. Disturbed can't help but to shout out in pain, as he wisely rolls off the ladder. Romeo lifts the ladder up off the mat, and tosses it into the ring. Instead of getting into the ring, Romeo gets behind Disturbed who is trying to get up to his feet using the apron again. Romeo hides behind his opponent, stalking him, waiting for the right moment. Disturbed finally gets up, takes one step forward, then Romeo runs at him full speed, pushing him forward as hard as he can. The result it Disturbed running into the steel steps at the corner, his injured knee hitting it first. The big guy falls over the steps and lands on the other side, creating some distance between him and the champ. Romeo looks at Disturbed who is writhing in pain outside the ring, then looks up at his championship belt hanging above the ring. Romeo heads up the steps Disturbed just flew over, and enters the ring.

Sam
This could be it!

Mac
Get up Disturbed!

Lana
The big man is certainly trying.

Disturbed is trying to pull himself up using the ring, as Romeo grabs the ladder he threw in earlier. Disturbed is up outside the ring, as Romeo sets the ladder up under the belt.

Lana
It's gonna be close.

Romeo gets up on the first rung, as Disturbed uses the bottom rope top pull himself into the ring.

Mac
Disturbed is inside the ring!

Sam
But does he have enough in him to stop Romeo?

The champ spots Disturbed, and has a decision to make. Does he get down and try to beat down Disturbed more, or spring towards the belt? He chooses the latter, as he tries to climb up the ladder as fast as he can. In his hurried state he misses a step, causing him precious seconds to fix his footing.

Lana
A crucial mistake by Romeo, I think that is gonna cost him.

Mac
Yes! Get to that ladder you big oaf!

Sam
Romeo get down from there, you're gonna get hurt!

Romeo still has three or four rungs to go, when Disturbed crawls far enough to get his hands on the ladder. Romeo yells down at him to not do it, but Disturbed just smiles as he uses his might to push the ladder over. Romeo tries his best to find a good place to land, but fails as he ends up crashing face first into a nearby top turnbuckle. The landing knocks Romeo to his feet, and now him and Disturbed are on even ground. Disturbed throws the ladder to the side, causing half of it to hang out of the ring. Romeo begins to pull himself up in the corner, but Disturbed has already gotten up to his feet, well, more like his foot, as he keeps his left foot off the mat.

Sam
Disturbed looks like he's really favoring that injured leg.

Mac
Doesn't matter, even a one legged Disturbed can beat Romeo.

Lana
It looks like he's going to have to.

Romeo gets up, and while still dazed he runs over at Disturbed, who scoops him up and drives him down to the mat with a vicious blackhole slam.

Mac
Told you!

Disturbed gets back up to his feet, and shakes his bad leg to get some feeling in it, finally being able to put a small amount of pressure on it. He grabs Romeo by the hair, and lifts him up to his knees, before delivering some clubbing forearm smashes to his back. After a few shots Disturbed pulls him in, either for a powerbomb of a piledriver. Before he can get the champ up, Romeo begins attacking his bad leg with punches and elbows. Just enough damage is done to cause Disturbed's leg to buckle, Romeo is able to break free and create enough space to bounce off the ropes. Romeo runs forward but Disturbed lifts his bad leg up and plants his boot in Romeo's face.

Sam
I'm not sure how much force Disturbed was able to put into the big boot.

Mac
Trust me Sam, it was enough to get the job done.

Lana
Romeo running towards it full speed also added to the impact.

After delivering the kick, Disturbed temporarily drops to one knee. He gets up shortly after, but he can't hide the damage his knee has taken. The big guy limps over to Romeo, and again grabs him by the hair picking him up. He tucks the champs head under his arm, and hoists him high above him for a vertical suplex. Before he can bring him down however, his knee buckles again, and the champ uses this moment to land on his feet in front of Disturbed.

Mac
Damn it, not again.

Sam
Damaging that leg has really paid dividends.

Romeo is quick to turn defense into offense, as he boots Disturbed in the stomach and drops him with a DDT. The champ looks like he's caught his second wind, as he sits up quickly, and turns his attention to Disturbed, who is starting to get up. Romeo springs up and bounces off the ropes, Disturbed is only able to get up to a knee before Romeo grabs him by the head and drops him with a swinging neckbreaker.

Lana
Looks like the champ is building some momentum.

Mac
I'm sure he'll find a way to screw it up.

Sam
I don't think so, he knows how to close out a match. It's why he's the only three time World Champ, and it's why I believe he'll go on to be the longest reigning World Champion of all time.

Romeo does indeed look like a man with a plan. He grabs the ladder that is hanging out of the ring, and pulls it back in. He sets the ladder directly next to Disturbed, who is essentially in the center of the ring. Romeo then heads to the corner that puts him at the opposite end of the ladder. He climbs to the top turnbuickle, Disturbed between him and the ladder itself.

Lana
What is he planning here?

Mac
The idiot is yelling for Disturbed to get up. Why would he waste this time?

Sam
I think he's looking to hit Shimmer Mac. The Dazzler is his go to move for a match, but when it fail he tends to go for a more high risk approach. Maybe he feels Disturbed is so tough he should just go straight for the top rope maneuver.

Disturbed begins to stir, as Romeo yells at him to get off his ass. The fans all cheer believing their hero is moments away from victory.

Lana
What about that ladder though. He's got it set up so if he hits Shimmer he'll end up hurting him and Disturbed

Mac
He's crazy, not only will he hurt himself, he'll probably break Disturbed's freaking neck. Are you okay with that Sam!?

Sam
I mean, I want Romeo to win, but you might be right, this is a bit much. Romeo, don't do it!

The champ seems intent on putting his opponent down for good, coiled up like a spring ready to pounce the second Disturbed gets up to his feet. The big guy is up to one knee, then he somehow manages to get up to his feet. He staggers around, turns to Romeo, and the champ jumps off the top. Romeo flips in air, but instead of catching Disturbed, it's Disturbed who catches him.

Lana
How the hell!?

Mac
Yes!

Mac
This is bad.

Disturbed has Romeo up on his shoulders, he turns around, and delivers a dominater that sends Romeo crashing down on the ladder, adding a few more welts on his chest and abdomen. Disturbed falls down on his butt, and takes in a big breath of air. He looks over at the champ, who is flailing his legs and clutching his ribs. Disturbed picks himself back up, looks at the crowd that has once again gone silent, then he slits his throat with his finger signalling the end.

Lana
Looks like Disturbed is ready to finish Romeo Stylez opponent off once and for all.

Sam
But what could he do to keep the champ down?

Mac
He'll think of something.

Disturbed goes for the ladder first, and slams it into Romeo's ribs for good measure. Disturbed uses his boot to flatten Romeo out, before slamming the ladder down on top of him. Then he puts his arms through the rungs and lifts Romeo and the ladder up, similar to how he had him earlier.

Lana
Another powerslam?

Sam
Maybe a fallaway slam?

Mac
Oh I think his plan is much, much worse than that.

Mac and Disturbed appear to be on the same wavelength mentally, as the big guy hoists Romeo and the ladder up from his chest, above his head, and onto his shoulders. He's got Romeo laying on top of the ladder, set up for the DoomsDay Disaster.

Lana
He couldn't.

Sam
He wouldn't.

He does. Disturbed on one leg, manages to throw the ladder with Romeo on top of it, high into the air causing Romeo to crash down on the ladder.

Mac
Home Run, Touchdown, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Whatever sports metaphor you wanna use, this match is over!

Disturbed looks around at the aftermath, Romeo isn't moving, hell the champ is barely breathing. Disturbed looks exhausted, but he knows victory is within his grasp. He forces himself back up to his feet, and limps over towards the ladder. He picks it up as the crowd looks on in a stunned silence. Disturbed moves the ladder to the center of the ring, has it set up to climb, then he spots Romeo start to stir.

Lana
No way.

Sam
He's getting up.

Mac
Don't be stupid, he's done. Don't let him fool you big guy, go get that belt.

Romeo is barely moving, small motions with his feet, his head struggling to look around. Far from getting up, but it's motion. Disturbed looks at the champ, then the belt, and doesn't appear as confident that Romeo won't find a way to Razzle Dazzle his way back to his feet. Doesn't mean Disturbed doesn't have a plan though. Disturbed, on one good leg, grabs Romeo by an arm and drags him into the center of the ring. He moves the ladder out of the way, positions Romeo so he's almost directly under the belt itself, then goes back to the ladder. His plan becomes obvious, as he sets the ladder up, pinning Romeo's shoulders to the mat with the bottom rung of one of the sides.

Mac
Genius.

Lana
Sorry Sam, I can't see a way of Romeo escaping this.

Mac
And now Romeo is not only helpless to stop Disturbed, but he's got to watch him climb the ladder and take the belt.

Disturbed begins to climb the opposite half of the ladder Romeo is pinned down by. He gets up one rung, and goes to climb the second using his bad leg, but it gives out on him and he falls back down to the mat.

Mac
Come on Disturbed, no pain no gain. Get your big ass up that ladder.

Sam
I'm not sure he can Mac.

Lana
What an odd predicament to be in. A champ is stuck under the ladder, and a challenger who can't climb it.

Disturbed is clearly upset, actually cussing out his own leg. He points at his bad knee, and tells it he's getting up that ladder with or without it's help. Disturbed gets up to the first rung again, using his good leg. He grips one of the upper rungs with his hands as well as he can, and essentially pulls himself up to the next rung until his one good foot can rest on the second rung.

Mac
Brilliant. If he can't step push himself up with his legs, he'll pull himself up with his arms.

Sam
Yeah, but Romeo seems to have come to, he's looking around.

Lana
Yes, but what is he gonna do about it?

There doesn't seem like much Romeo can do. He's still much to weak to kick, but he does start yelling, as he tries to push the ladder off of himself with his hands. Disturbed can hear him from the other side of the ladder, and lets out a laugh before pulling himself up another rung. The fans break their silence, as they begin to chant "Razzle Dazzle" clap clap clap-clap-clap "Razzle Dazzle"

Sam
The fans trying to will Romeo Stylez on.

Lana
I'm not sure what good it's going to do. It's like I said earlier, these fans can't win this match for Romeo.

Mac
Don't worry, they'll all shut up in just a few short seconds when Disturbed gets that belt.

The big guy pulls himself up one rung at a time, each rung getting a little harder to climb. He finally makes it to the top, and actually takes a seat and looks down at Romeo, who is red in the face trying to push the ladder off of him.

Mac
How embarrassing, all that talk and the so called best thing going today is left helpless by the hands of Disturbed.

Sam
I wish he'd quit rubbing it in and win already.

Lana
I'm pretty sure he could take a nap up there and still have this match well in hand Sam.

Disturbed gives Romeo the double middle finger, as Romeo takes in one last deep breath, props his feet up on one of the lower rungs, and gives one last effort. The ladder wiggles just slightly, and Disturbed's eyes go wide.

Mac
No way!

Lana
Disturbed is three hundred and fifty pounds, and who knows how heavy that ladder is.

Sam
You can do it Romeo, I believe in you, these people believe in you.

The champ lets out a loud yell, and pushes the ladder up, and over. Disturbed goes flying off the ladder, out of the ring, and as fate would have it, he goes lands on the ladder he set up between the ring apron and barricade earlier, snapping it in half and crashing to the floor below. The fans explode with a chant of "Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!"

Lana
What they said.

Sam
You want to say something negative about the champ now Mac! Mac? Mac are you alive?

Mac Danny is speechless, as Romeo gets up from the mat, and grabs the ladder. He sets it up, and begins his climb to the top, Disturbed laying limp in the wreckage outside the ring. One rung at a time, the champ makes his way to the top. He puts his hand on the belt, looks around at the crowd, points to them with his free hand, then rips the belt loose. The bell rings as Romeo falls off the ladder and to the mat below.

Penny Lane
Here is your winner, and STILL New Era Wrestling World Champion, The Sensational One Romeo Stylez.

Lana
I know people say this alot, but I sincerely, genuinely, can't believe it.

Sam
I can. Never doubt what Romeo Stylez can do. That guy is my hero, New Era Wrestling's very own superman, and the absolute best thing going today.

Mac
....................

Sam
You said it Mac. What a match!

Romeo gets back up to his feet, as EMTs start to come out to check on Disturbed. He knocks the ladder over in the ring, and raises the belt high in the air, pointing to all the fans in the arena. Romeo's celebration is cut off as Accidents by Alexisonfire hits the speakers.

Lana
Here comes the boss. But why?

Mac
Clearly to overturn this decision and name Disturbed the winner.

Sam
Or to congratulate Romeo Stylez on becoming New Era Wrestling's last World Champion.

Travis Blaine heads towards the ring, as EMTs hoist Disturbed's big ass on to a stretcher. As they wheel Disturbed Travis Blaine says something to him, then walks up the steps into the ring. The EMTs try to take Disturbed backstage, but he insists on sticking around at the bottom of the ramp until this is over. Romeo places the championship belt across his shoulder, and stares at Travis Blaine as a crew member hands the boss a microphone.

Travis Blaine
Tonight has been one heck of a night. A great ending, to a great ride. I wanted to thank all of the fans for showing up tonight, as well as all of those who tuned in to watch from home. You all helped make New Era Wrestling bigger than I had ever dreamed it could be. After Marc's tragic death, I was almost certain this company had seen it's last days. However you fans, as well as the members of the roster, all carried on and kept New Era Wrestling alive much longer than I thought possible. I just wanted to thank everyone responsible for making this place what it was, and keeping it going this long.

Travis turns his attention to Romeo specially.

Travis Blaine
Romeo, I know we've had our differences, and I'm not sure if what I have to say means anything to you at all, but I'm going to say it anyway. You've done a great job holding the New Era Wrestling World Championship, when this company needed a hero you stepped up big time. Your contributions to this company did not go unappreciated, and I can't think of a more fitting person to share this last moment with. To be perfectly blunt, I'm proud of you.

Travis extends his hand.

Lana
Shake his hand Romeo.

Sam
Do the right thing.

Romeo looks around at the crowd for a moment, then slaps Travis Blaine's hand away. The entire arena lets out a gasp.

Mac
Holy shit! I think I finally became a Romeo Stylez fan!

Before Travis can react, Romeo lunges forward, and gives his boss a hug.

Mac
Damn it! I knew it was too good to be true.

After hugging it out, Romeo borrows the microphone from Travis Blaine.

Romeo Stylez
I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to compete here. I've done alot of great things in my life, there are so many things I am proud of, but there is nothing in my life I cherished more than being this company's champion. If anything ever happens, and there is even the smallest chance you want to try to bring New Era Wrestling back, you know who to call. But if this really is the end, if there is no coming back, then I guess there is just one thing left to say.

Sam
You know what's coming Mac.

Mac
I do, and I hate it.

Romeo Stylez
Razzle Dazzle!

Travis nods, and goes to leave the ring, but Romeo stops him. He whispers something in his ear, then drops out of the ring, going up to Disturbed who is still laying on that stretcher, and offers him some words of encouragement as well. Then one after another, every member of the New Era Wrestling roster comes out from the back. Travis Blaine begins to get a little teary eyed, and every fan in the sold out arena begins to chant.

"Thank you Travis! Thank you Travis! Thank you Travis! Thank you Travis!"

the camera fades to black, one last time.
