Jynx LeVeux
NEWera Rookie
[ * ]
Lights and camera are already on in the living room-like setting. Upon one chair sits a woman in a cream-colored business suit with a tape recorder and a notebook. She speaks with a man with a headset on for a few moments before a door opens and closes off-stage. The camera moves to get a glimpse of the area off the set and spots Jynx LeVeux entering. She looks to be recovering well from the assault but her mood...is still dark.

Jynx enters the studio dressed in a pair of black women's slacked with a purple corset tip beneath a black feminine suit jacket and a pair of simple black heels. Her ebony hair is pulled back into a simple ponytail, bangs curved perfectly down over her forehead. The look upon her face is one of calm rage, making sure her mood is known, but not exploding it outwards toward anyone either. Her gait is one with purpose as she strides over to the woman and sits across from her, crossing those legs right over left at the knee as her arms come to rest upon the arms of the chair. Ice blue stares with a hint of menace, though not toward the woman before her, as she speaks.

Jynx LeVeux: "Good afternoon, ma'am..."

Interviewer: "Hello, Miss LeVeux. Thank you for meeting us on such short notice. Are you ready to start?"

Jynx give a curt nod toward the woman as her answer for the time being. The tech makes his way off the set and after a brief fade, the view changes to a more centered one. There's no cheesy theme music or a flashy logo...it's straight to the meat and potatoes. The red-haired woman turns to the camera.

Interviewer: "Welcome, everyone. Melissa Evans here with NEWEra superstar, Jynx LeVeux."

She turns to Jynx, being utterly professional despite Jynx's mood. It was to be expected, after all.

Melissa Evans: "Miss LeVeux, you have a lot on your mind, I'm sure. Let's start with NEW TV 74, where a dual assault by Bombtrack and Purity Solanas, in the minds of some, prematurely ended your reign. What are your thoughts on their actions?"

Jynx straighted up even more in her seat at that point and chuckled in a dark tone, shaking her head as the question was asked before speaking.

Jynx LeVeux: "To be perfectly blunt, it was a move orchestrated and executed by cowards, plain and simple. They wanted to get back at my fiancee because he outdid them and made them look utterly horrible. Boo hoo, it happens to all of us. However, I guess when you have the higher-ups in your pocket and a mindless ogre at your beck and call, you're allowed to do whatever you want. Now, to Purity's credit, the title I had was beneath her as she has been in the World Title contention for quite sometime, there was no reason other than to be petty for them to enact the rule on my belt and come take it like she did. It shows just how big of cowards that pair truly is and they well be getting theirs for what they did, mark my words."

Melissa Evans: "Strong words, but as we have been shown you are known for holding up to your challenges. You mentioned higher-ups, however, obviously referring to NEWEra Owner Randy Altzer. You've had some issues with him in the past and both of you have verbally fired on the other. Do you think he played a part in this?"

Jynx LeVeux: "I have no doubt he did. We have all seen that banging the boss has its perks as it were and I am sure she brought up the idea and he thought it was fine and dandy even though he also knew she has no business with that belt around her waist.

Melissa Evans: "If I may say, that's a strong allegation you're putting out. Mr. Altzer is married, after all. Perhaps it was Purity acting of her own accord."

Jynx LeVeux: "I highly doubt it. Though in this particular instance it is a distinct possibility. After all, she throws temper tantrums whenever things don't go her way and now that she has a lap dog to do her dirty work, all she has to do is point and stand back and laugh."

Melissa goes through her notes for a moment with a nod, then presses on.

Melissa Evans: "Back to Bombtrack. To put it mildly he...essentially molested you on national television and, as we saw prior to that, he blocked the door to Eric Donavan's locker room to ensure he couldn't come to your aid. I know it's difficult to talk about, but what do you think the reaction will be from your fiancee?"

The question made Jynx chuckle in a dark tone not seen from her yet as she was asked about Eric's reaction to all of this.

Jynx LeVeux: "Quite simply...I will sit back and watch the fires of hell rage upon those who deserve purification. They done screwed up and soon they are going to see exactly how much they did. A world of blissful pain awaits them both, but Bombtrack in particular for...touching me...the way he did. I plan on handing Eric the lighter personally."

Melissa Evans: "Knowing him, I do not doubt that. NEWEra is in quite a state as of late with people leaving in droves. There has even been word that you're considering taking your leave of the company due to the, to use the words of another, bullying atmosphere. Can you elaborate?"

Jynx LeVeux: "Indeed I can. Yes. Eric was perfectly right in saying I was contemplating leaving due to the actions of people as of late. You know, it must be awfully bad when our World Heavyweight Champion is contemplating it as well. However, after my initial anger settled, I began to think and I agree with Eric. I am going to stay and help him make sure this company knows what it did wrong and push to make them see it.

I don't give a right damn what they do to me because of it. I may be new, but I have absolutely no problems calling bullshit when I see it and that has definately been seen iver the past couple of weeks. This company needs people to stick it out and get it back on track to the place it was when I was brought in. I came to the company being told it was a good place to work and it devolves into this crap? Unacceptable to me. There is one hell of a storm coming...and if I have to, i will destroy each and every person in my way in the most beautiful way possible...and when I finally leave, they will all understand why storms are named after people."

Melissa smiles, more to herself than anything else...but it's easy to see that that answer from Jynx has pleased her. After a moment, she sets down the recorder and crosses her legs again, turning back to Jynx.

Melissa Evans: "Let's move on to Trenton Page, the new North American Champion and your opponent this week. You've had quite the storied past with him as well, running from a dark beginning to what appears to be tentative friendship and a rivalry. In your non-title encounter at NEW Friday Night 42 he has said, plesantly mind you..."

There's a bit of soft laughter at that.

Melissa Evans: "...that he means to get his win back."

Now hearing about Trent actually puts a soft smile on her face and she seems to lighten, albeit a bit tenatively, but still, it has seemed to soften her none the less.

Jynx LeVeux: "It's true Trent and I have had quite the past, everyone was witness to it, but even back then, I knew he could be saved as it were, just the right catalyst was needed...and he got that wake up call he sorely needed and I think he is far better off for it. He seems a lot more focused and driven and I adore the fact he is getting back on track and that belt on his shoulder is a testament to just how much he has been able to accomplish now that his head is clear. I really look forward to this match as it won't just be hate-filed revenge both of us want, but a good match, with level heads, between us. Now mind you, I have no intentions of going easy on him, I never do. Friend or not, he is still going to get 110% from me, especially if he wants that win back."

Melissa Evans: "He seems to expect just that, although he says he doesn't think you two should be fighting but instead pairing up to go after those who attacked you...and has made it clear that he'll be available for revenge if you seek it."

Jynx LeVeux: "I appreciate that and I may discuss that with him here in the near future now that I know about it and yes, it sucks we have to be fighting, but we will give the fans a damn good show none the less. I find it fun to go against friends and the like at times because you always get the best out of someone that way really. The wrestling is clean and you can still walk away respecting one another in the end."

Melissa Evans: "A win over him, a new champion, would put you back in contention for a belt yourself. Have you thought about going for the No Limits or Television Championships?"

Jynx LeVeux: "Indeed I have and I think I am ready to do so. I think I have proven I am capable of going to the next level as I had the second longest title reign in my division before the recent incident. A win over him would be a great way of showing just how ready I am for that."

Checking her notes one last time and looking off-stage as if receiving a message, Melissa turns back to Jynx.

Melissa Evans: "I think that's all I have unless there's something else you'd like to say? If so, the floor is yours."

Jynx nods before turning to look directly into the camera. A smile playing across black-painted lips that was both dangerous and dark, mating the dark flare that seemed to light up those ice blue hues.

Jynx LeVeux: "This company needs to learn that it can't get away with all the bullshit, all the browbeating, all the lies and deceit. It needs to learn that without its wrestlers and fans, there is no company and that favorites can't be played. I will help Eric in his mission in building this comapny back to what it was when I was invited to join and I will do my damndest to make sure that once it has been put to rights, it stays that way. Do your worst to me in the prccess and meantime because I guarantee, I have been through worse and there isn't a damn thing you can do to crush my spirit nor my resolve. Others have tried and failed, so I know you will no succeed. Let's see if we can get everything back on track shall we? If not, the destruction will still be glorious as it will be hillarious to watch it happen from the inside out and you all have no one to blame but yourselves."

The shot fades out on Jynx.
