For pic base, as my original e-fedding character, I used pre-punk Shannon Moore.
I have never seen anyone else use him as pre-punk.
I used pre punk Shannon Moore before switching to Charlie Hunnam.

Interesting.

And Cam, I've RP'ed elsewhere. Started back in 2003. Been in like 4 or 5 different feds, but now mostly retired.

I know...cool story, bro.

I mean, I asked. I'm not going to ask and then say I don't care when you answer. That'd make me an asshole.

That used to bug me, now I don't care. You're RPs either better or worse, regardless of when you post it. Plus if someone does it consistently, then whoever their facing should see it coming, therefore it shouldn't really give them an advantage anyway.

I never said delaying an RP was advantageous, it's just more fun if each person posts earlier so there can be some solid back and forth. In fact most of what I said are me picking out things that aren't important on a large scale, just trying to plump up this thread a bit.

ok here's a big peeve of mine:

"creating" a character who's just a real person with the serial numbers filed off. i don't see a problem with using real rasslers as INSPIRATION (purity was conceived as "no one can tell i'm ripping off daniel bryan if i make it a girl"), but... ok, back like 11 years ago in a long-dead joint called KCW, there was this guy named Mikey. (no last name: just Mikey)

Mikey's poser was HHH.

Mikey called himself "The Game."

Mikey was married to Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. (the fact that they kept the "Helmsley" was amazing to me)

Mikey was the leader of a stable called D-Generation X.

Mikey's finisher -- and this will be forever burned into my memory -- was the Cartpedigree, "a 360-degree spinning pedigree that does five times more damage than a normal pedigree."

and this was my main event feud! what the fuck

Late posters can have an effect on their opponent's RPs. You can't deny that. Say one posts all of their RPs and the opponent posts none. Each RP has a dip in quality because they have nothing to work with. Then the opponent slaps out great RPs because they have a mountain of stuff to work with. It's called sandbagging for a reason.

But if the person does it consistently, then you should've known they'd do it again. I'm not saying it's not a dickhead thing to do, but if you're booked against Kerryn Kali and you post 3 rps, and then get surprised when he proceeds to post quality stuff right before the deadlines, then you're an idiot. You knew he was going to sandbag.

It's always been my opinion that judges need to take Sandbagging into context when judging RP's. Give a couple of points to the first person to RP, which eliminates the second RP advantage.

Take the advantage of a late RP away and more folks won't do it. If you let people cheat, in essence, and win inconstantly what's their incentive for not doing it every week?

That's my thought.

Pet Peeve #3

People who play the Maryter. Like, they have a equal hand in a situation and then bitch and complain about it, leaving out the things they did wrong, or wrong things they agreed to before just to make themselves look good.

You're saying that from a staff point of view where you read every rp and see these patterns through the weeks. If someone has been fighting on NFN for 3 months and now they've been moved to NEW Gen to face someone new, they wouldn't really know their patterns unless they'd been reading all the rps every week, and I really doubt the vast majority would be doing that.
