So over the years i have noticed a way for Feds to get to know one another, and also grow as a unit is for people to post their pet peeves from previous feds. As to not repeat mistakes of the past.
i only ask that no Feds are used by name. If you had a problem with SCW or ORGY then do not list them by name simply said "In this group, or this person"
Whatcha think Staff, think this kind of thread is a good idea?

I don't really have a bad rep with any past company I've been in, but I've got a couple of pet peeves. None of which make me fly off the handles, but does manage to bother me on a smaller scale. Such as...
"Faces" who are assholes.
Flawless characters. They're fast/strong/durable/flexible with great mat wrestling high flying and the ability to be hardcore. They're also flawless mentally, never scared, often brilliant, etc...
Individuals who are don't see getting a strong storyline as a "promotion" or "sign of faith" and only hold value in having a title.

I can see the faces who are assholes, but then again Ro, there is the Antihero. They would technically be a face. Ala Stone Cold or Taker during his american badass gimmick. Not a Hero but a AntiHero, but still a face.
As for the characters without flaws, that's why i made josh like i did. With the gut. Give him something "abnormal" in this world where everyone wants to be a supermodel.
I have a couple, i may unveil them all as more people most on this lol here is the first.
The lack of a disclaimer. I don't care if a promo has detailed, like porno detail sex in it, or detailed description of someone getting their heads smacked through a over a hundred....but damn give a brother some warning first? Let me know I'm about to see Jenna Jamison does Dallas or a freaking snuff film. Don't just drop that shit on me.

I've actually seen people who disliked disclaimers, claiming it took them out of the RP... I thought it was odd since they happen before the RP, before you get a chance to be drawn into the RP itself. We had a guy whose character was um... Dominick Jean Pierre (I think) who would post an RP in our RP thread, and all it was, was a link to another site where his RP was written. I know some people were bothered by that, and once he put a disclaimer in his post here that the link lead to an RP with explicit stuff in it.
Also I'm not saying the anti-hero face can't work, I just don't like it in a game where the fans can be controlled and told who to cheer/like. Stone Cold was supposed to be a heel, and the fans chose to make him a face. When I see an asshole face who I don't like, I don't buy that other people like him even if the fans are cheering him during the match or in his rps.
As far as out of character pet peeves, anyone who leaves a site/fed by publicly bashing those in charge, and/or other members of said group. We've had examples of this in the past, Not everyone is going to be happy in a certain place, doesn't mean the person is at fault or the fed is at fault, it just means they aren't compatible. If you ain't happy, message the fedhead of STAFF privately, and if things can't be settled say thanks for the opportunity and look elsewhere.
I dislike RPs where someone uses colors that are hard to read. I mean I love a colorful well organized RP, but sometimes the color choice is awful, like when Stone used to use fucking Black font.

Fun fact: One time I told Marc that a link someone gave me for their rp on a hosted site tried to give me a virus, so he made a rule that banned linked rps. It never tried to give me a virus, I just hated linked rps.

Oddly enough i think the dark blue i used for my latest RP fits that description lol i found it hard to read after, but with the editing rules i couldn't change it lol
Another of mine is people who are unnecessarily bashed, even IC. Like you said about messaging the owner privately. Some things happen via the course of RP or a segment that can ruin a character.
Like if a guy runs a storyline where he almost gets raped, he becomes former known as the guy who almost got raped, instead of a wrestler with years of experience. It's the worst kind of burying someone and no one deserves to be buried, no matter their talent level.

I agree on the linked RPs. I find them ridiculous and somewhat showboaty. Yeah, you're great at graphics and all that. But the carpet (writing) doesn't match the drapes (graphics). Work on the writing.
I can read black font on my computer just fine. Get a better monitor. Or glasses. But I don't use it anymore. So there.... Sorry. I just really liked my black font.
RoRo may not want to say it, but I will. The Stone Cold/ABA Taker AntiHero DOES NOT WORK in e-fedding. I'm sorry. It truly has to be lightning in a bottle to work. It's between Impossible and Fuck Off on the difficulty meter. Your face can be badass. But if you're trying to be Stone Cold, you're going to fail. You're not going to steamroll over everyone in your path. You're not going to stand tall every show. You're not going to be the biggest thing since sliced bread. What you can be is good, even great. But like RoRo implied, have some weaknesses. You can't be flawless or perfect. Those kinds of characters/people are not fun to face or work with. Which leads me to...
If you're in a feud and you genuinely want to make a good story out of it, talk with your opponent. It'll benefit you both in the end. Some of your best writing can come about when you're working together.

Jesse, you speak of Anti hero's and all On guy who tried playing an "Anti Hero" dramatically failed and is now infamously known around here as "Lil Rapey" tried to play an "Anti Hero" then proceeded to try rape my character Zenna, repeatedly. then flat out denied it IN and OUT of Character.
I guess people like that are my pet peeve.

People who tell Selina she can't write detailed in depth step by step sex scenes involving her and possibly other people's characters...

We're not supposed to out people by name Selina. >.>
Also, the "Lil Rapey" guy never actually raped Zenna he just sexual harassed her repeatedly. Rape is what Kerryn Kali does.
As far as pet peeves.
1. One of my pet peeves is coming into our fed and expecting to be worshiped.
I could give a fuck about where you came from, what you did in other feds, what you characters parents did, etc. You're a third generation wrestler who won x-amount of World Title in BFE? Great, I'mma book you against other newbies until you've established yourself enough to be given a better push.
Look at the WWE, they ignore the fuck out of whatever anyone does in other companies, such as TNA. Christian was a 3 time TNA World Champion, but until he won the WWE's World Heavyweight Championship they never once considered him a former world champion.
I carry that same thought process, if you didn't do it here (NEW Era Wrestling) then it doesn't count, I don't care about it, and I'm going to book you the same as I booked everyone else when they first started.
2. I different pet peeve of mine is constant complaining.
You're not getting this shot, you're not getting that shot, this feud isn't going the exact way you wanted it to. Shit happens, but constantly bitching about it isn't going to make it happen. In fact the more people bitch/complain to me, the less likely I am to help. Call me an asshole but my patience runs thin.
This particularly pisses me off if the person you want to feud is a champion in NEW. I'm sorry, the champions in our fed have responsibilities. You won't just get to run an angle with them because you want to. Sometimes it won't even happen if the champion wants to. If you are allowed to run an angle with that champion it may not be exactly what you wanted it to be. You can't have a 2 or 3 PPV feud with a champion because I'm not giving you 2 or 3 shots at the same title, when I have plenty of other people who deserve shots. If I give you just one PPV match with a champion you should shut the fuck up and be happy.
I don't like complaining that you're not getting opportunities. The reason I don't like it is two fold.
A: You haven't done enough to warrant an opportunity yet.
OR
B: I've given you opportunities. They may not have been the ones you wanted or felt entitled to but they've been given. This is normally the most likely scenario because almost everyone gets some sort of opportunity early on in NEW Era. Whether it's a No Limits Title Match booked on NFN, or a giant clusterfuck 5 on 5 Match at TCS where 2 titles are up for grabs.
Complaining about not having title shots is absolutely infuriating to me because we literally have a title that is up for grabs on every single fucking show, that anyone can challenge for unless they're currently holding another title in NEW. If you want a title so badly, challenge for the No Limits Championship. The argument normally is that the NL Title isn't prestigious enough. The title's as prestigious as you make it. If you RP well enough you'll make the title prestigious. The current holder, Jynx LeVeux, successfully defended the belt against a former World Champion on PPV, if that's not prestigious enough for you then GTFO. You shouldn't be here just to win titles anyway.
3. Not everyone wants to work with you.
This could be for various reasons. You're new and they'd rather work with someone more experienced. They don't know you well enough and would rather work with someone they like more. Maybe you're just an asshole. I don't appreciate the ego that just because you want to work with someone that they should HAVE to work with you or that they should be eternally grateful that you've graced them with a chance at working together.

I hate when people use the word I instead of speaking of the staff as a collective unit of decision makers...
