::New York City – the Hammerstein Ballroom was almost a mecca for wrestling, though it would never hold a place in the hearts of the wrestlers and fans the way that Madison Square Garden or the Tokyo Dome did. Much like Zoe McDraven would never hold such a place in the hearts, minds, or anything else of the fans ever again. Like Squirt, Jolt, and Surge, she had had her place in the sun, been drunk down by the thirsty masses, pissed away and flushed and never cared about again.::

Zoe McDraven
@SupernovaZoe
I'm a wrester for NEWera, and tough as nails. The Supernova will lead you to a new beginning

::But somehow, she just kept coming back, unlike Crystal Pepsi or Billy Beer, ready willing and able to be repackaged and shoved down the throats of the fans thirsty for talent. She talked tough, wrestled stiff despite looking like an ad for Easy, Breezy, Beautiful Covergirl. The poster girl for wasted potential, who yet still had friends in the back office willing to push her no matter how half-assed her in ring performances were. Heck, sometimes it was like she never even bothered to show up mentally!::

Andy: “Babe. I got Kerryn Kali again...did you see the bullshit he spouted off about...again?”

::Brandi yawned and stretched, she was laid out on the couch wearing a pair of tiny little booty shorts and an oversized t-shirt, both in soft pink with the BrAndy logo on them and a pair of cute fuzzy socks.::

Brandi: "Yeah I did baby. But it's okay, you know? He can say the same thing over and over and it doesn't matter now just like it didn't matter before. He sure loves bringing up the distant past doesn't he? Brandi's wearing a mask! Brandi's not the nice girl you think she is! Brandi's not a virgin! Blah. Blah. Blah. Like I didn't legally change my name to Brandi two years ago, you know? Goodness gracious. Talk about being stuck in high school, you know what I mean? I apologized to the people I was a jerk to, and I changed. The only mask I ever wore was that of a Mean Girl, and I took that off a long time ago."

::Andy snickered as he joined her on the couch, turning her so that she rested across his chest and he ran his hand through her brunette highlighted locks.::

Andy: “As far as the other...there's only one guy that knows the truth on that, and it's me. And none of his, Talon's or anyone else's business. That's the problem with some of these nosy fuckers, they wanna bring shit into this that has no place in it.”

::Brandi's eyes got really big and she laughed a little while she blushed and swatted his shoulder playfully.::

Brandi: "Language baby! But yeah...you do have a point...it's like they can't match someone in the ring and the first thing they want to do is call them names or talk about who they are uhm...you know, doing it with and stuff like that..."

Andy: “Yep...and yeah, it's hard not to fire back with the same thing, because man it can get you pissed...if you take them seriously. You know me though, I'm just twisting it back on them and I know they're liars.”

::Brandi grinned down at him and gave him a soft kiss, before moving to lay her cheek on his chest as he reached for the TV remote.::

Andy: “Training this week went pretty good don't you think? You're improving all the time, you really make me proud.”

::He stroked her hair again, and let out a sigh.::

Andy: “It really doesn't matter how many times we've both faced these people, beaten them...taken them down a peg. Just like cockroaches they keep coming right back, and get more disrespectful every time. Like it doesn't matter what we've done, because we weren't there at the start we can't possibly care about NEWera the way they do. That's bullshit.”

Brandi: "I know it is. Without NEW...we wouldn't have had this chance to be so happy. Without NEW, we wouldn't have had such a stunning title reign the first time, or the chance to make a second one. We show how much we love NEW by always busting our tails, always giving everything we can back to the fans, and by wrestling our hearts out in that ring. But I guess for some people that'll never be good enough. But you know what? I don't care what those people think anymore, if I ever did. They can't be better than us, so they try to drag us down to their slimy level ...but in the end it doesn't matter. We'll still be here."

::Andy grinned, hitting the remote buttons until the DVR'd hockey game he'd saved came on, and Brandi grinned back at him. He'd made her quite a fan of the Devils after all.::

Dear Zoe McDraven,

Hi again! Look, there isn't a whole lot to say to you really. We've had matches before, you've gotten up in front of the cameras and sworn to beat my butt from here to Timbuktu, told everyone how you were going to destroy me and smear me all over the canvas and that there wouldn't be a gosh darn thing I could do about it.

And then you lost, after I knocked you flat on your booty girly.

No one is going to ever say you aren't tough in that ring. That you aren't strong, that you aren't violent, that you aren't vicious.

However, no one is ever going to believe the trash you vomit up ever again. Remember when “I Believe in Zoe McDraven” meant something? When the fans got behind you and cheered you and then you stopped caring about them and walked away? Yeah. So do they, and so do I. You get up and say that Andy and I are jokes and that we aren't any good and that we don't deserve what we busted our behinds to get.

Whatever, Zoe.

I just don't care about you, anymore. Why should I, because its really obvious you don't care about NEW, your team, or even yourself.

So go on and make your substandard usual joke threats about killing me in that ring and being this great wrestler that's better than me and all that nonsense, and I'll see you at the Hammerstein Ballroom and the results will be what they should always be when you and I get in the ring.

Bunny eared kiss kisses from Brandi Storm - see you at the arena!

Love,
Brandi
