I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking this is the crack. This is where he goes soft, and everything falls apart. Pride before the fall right? I come out here bragging about how I was the first person to ever successfully defend the World Heavyweight Championship inside the Six Pack Challenge. Then it’s back to losing matches, and soon enough Eric Donavan is the World Heavyweight Champion.
Is that what you want? I’m sure it is. I’m sure you’d all love to absolutely see my title taken from me. But let me tell you something. Over the last few months I have been damn near perfect. I’ve been competing on a level that few men every reach, and that you worthless peons can never even hope to get to.
You think Eric Donavan has gotten the better of me, that this is some sort of sign of things to come? Let’s call it what it is, a hiccup, a bump in the road. I beat Priest when it truly mattered, and if we battled a thousand more time I’d win nine hundred and ninety nine of those. And if Eric Donavan think he’s gotten into my head he’s sorely mistaken. All he’s done is made me even angrier at him. Come Evolution he’ll be walking into his own execution.
And now I find myself teaming with Disturbed, a monster who, for reasons I don’t care about, has some sort of madon with Priest. That works just fine for me because when Disturbed is focused he can be a very dangerous man, and I’m certainly eager to put a hurting on both Priest an Donavan.
But enough of this letter writing. I’ve got a match to prepare for.
