Before the actual scene is shown, all we see is a close up of Romeo Stylez's face. He's wearing a white headband and is very sweaty. His eyes look on determined as he lets out a primal growl. The camera flashes and now we're shown a close up if his right arm. He's wearing a sleeveless shirt, and his arms are looking especially ripped as sweat drops off his arm. His arm swings wildly as sweat flies off into the air. Once again the camera flashes, and now we're shown his feet. Wearing a cheap pair of grey sneakers and bouncing off the floor. Finally the camera flashes one last time, and what originally appeared to be like an intense workout session, turns out to be Romeo Stylez playing tennis on the Nintendo Wii.

His eyes are focused on the TV, when somebody knocks on the door. The moment he looks over at the door, his wii opponent serves and wins the game of tennis. Romeo wipes some sweat off his face with his forearm, shuts off the Wii, and goes to answer the door. As the door opens we see NEW interviewer Johnny Bloomers picking his nose. He notices Romeo and quickly pulls his finger out of his nose, before walking into Romeo's room.

Johnny "Yo bro, just wanted to stop in and say hey. I mean it's been about two weeks now, your match with Jenni is right around the corner, and we haven't heard a peep from you yet."

The Sensational One closes the door and smiles as he throws his sweaty arm around Johnny's shoulder.

Romeo "It's cool bro, just been stayin busy. Watchin tape, working out, you'd be surprised how good a workout you can get playing Video Games. I was gonna speak up soon though."

Johnny seems overly excited about Romeo's upcoming promo. He twiddles with his thumbs. After a few awkward seconds Johnny pulls a paper out of his pocket, and coughs as he reads over it.

Johnny "So um... I've been trying to think some ideas of what your next rp could be. I mean after what you said against Eric, I feel it's time to give the fans more of a human interest kind of promo."

Romeo looks at Johnny and raises an eyebrow, not understanding what Johnny is talking about.

Romeo "What you mean bro? I am a human, and I thought people were interested in my matches."

Johnny "Yeah, I mean your official job is to go out there and beat the other person in the ring. But what really sells is special interest videos. Ya know those little bits of private life behind the wrestler. Ya know, like how so many women have gotten behind Jennifer Taylor and how interesting her new love life is with that Jackson guy. People can never get enough of that stuff."

While it's clear Johnny is only looking out for Romeo's best interest, the former North American Champion looks offended by Johnny's suggestion. The Sensational One grits his teeth, and looks to be trying hard to avoid overreacting to Johnny's advice. But the usually calm and playful Romeo Stylez apepars to be overwhelmed with rage and frustration.

Romeo "Oh so you're saying I should go out and live some kind of romance novel because me putting my health on the line every show isn't entertaining enough. I guess being in love with the sport isn't what it takes to be a fan favorite, I gotta play prince charming for some cute dame? Well maybe you got over it quicker than me, cuz the entire Nikki Blaine and James Stall incident is still fresh in my mind. The whole finding love angle doesn't work out well for The Sensational One."

Johnny lowers his head, and is already regretting suggesting Romeo needed to do something different to be successful. He didn't know what to say back, but he didn't have to say anything, because Romeo was just beginning his rant on the so called human interest side of pro wrestling.

Romeo "I love my fans, but if they're in the need to get their romance fix they can tune into the lifetime channel. Or if it has to be a wrestler in love, they can watch the new found flame of love in my opponent's life. From the darkness of where she's been, to finding true love again, it's like pretty woman but in real life. Or perhaps they want a darker romance, some fans have a thing for bad boys. Just watch anything with The World Champion and his love interest Izzy Marie."

There's a pause in the rant, but only because Romeo needs to catch his breath.

Romeo "Or maybe the fans want more of a family feeling. Most sitcoms that are successful involve the wife, husband, and kids. So if they want that feeling of long lasted, time tested family love, they can tune in to Robbie Priest and family. Hell the Priest family has been a steady dependent place to get your romance drama fix for years. And if new love, old love, and bad boy love isn't your thing, then how about love that feels like fate. Reigning TV Champ Tombstone has his relationship with the girl he'd known his whole life. Literally in a completely new country years after last seeing one another, they meet up and there's that immediate feeling of familiarity and trust. There's plenty of outlets for those who are looking for some romance story, but I'm not gonna go get my heart broken to help sell a few extra tickets Johnny. I'm bigger than that aren't I? Don't I deserve better than that?"

Johnny still isn't sure what to say. I mean it seems like everyone who is successful in this business has a little extra something than just being a good wrestler. While Johnny wants to believe in his friend, he honestly feels he'd be better off if he had some interesting story surrounding him. So instead of admitting defeat, he brings up another idea.

Johnny "Well I never said it had to be a love thing bro. Maybe some platonic relationships to surround yourself with. I mean you were huge when you were with The Superfriends. You brought Diamonds in the Club back into the spotlight when it seemed they were on life support. If Rebecca Black is gonna be off working on her singing career, you should think about joining a group like White Noise. Hell you've got the star power to form your own power faction ya know. Think about it, The Razzle Dazzle Brigade. Or The Sensational Army. Or whatever."

Again, Romeo shakes his head no, and tries to bottle up just how frustrated he is.

Romeo "Johnny you're my friend right? So why would you walk into my room and bring up these bad memories man? I mean you say people were more interested in me when I was surrounded by a posse, and yeah I loved spending time with them when I did. But it never works out in the end for me. They either stop calling and focus more on their own career, or they just leave the company all together. I mean Nikki and Erickson, gone completely. Misty and Dice are consumed with their own lives, Randy's gone back to the darkside and..."

Romeo trails off for a moment, thinking about some of Randy Altzers recent actions, and he loses his cool for a second as he pulls off his headband and throws it across the room.

Romeo "Hell RAW tells me I shouldn't be around him, then he goes all gang mentality with Riot and Zoe. Hell it's just like the dating thing Johnny, if people wanna see a group of people working as one they can look elsewhere. Randy playing the numbers game on Jimmy, or in the main event spotlight with James Stall uses a few bad cats looking to make a name for themselves to soften up Eric Donavan. There's gang warfare in NEW already Johnny, how is copying everyone else gonna separate me from the pack?"

The Sensational One looks over to his friend hoping to hear a good answer. Hoping maybe he was wrong, maybe Johnny had one more idea in his head that Romeo could agree with. But it wasn't there, Johnny had been defeated. When Romeo Stylez first came into NEW he was completely focused on the entertainment aspect of the business, but now it appears all of his focus is set on the competition itself. But then Johnny remembers what he is. Not on a personal level, like being a nice guy, or a good friend, but on a professional level. Johnny Bloomers was one of New Era Wrestling's top backstage interviewers, and if there was something Romeo might appreciate, it's something that has everything to do with the company, and the sport itself.

Johnny "I've got it man. You want to keep it simple, keep it honest. This match isn't about anybody but you and Jenni Taylor, and it isn't about anything other than whose the better wrestler. So how about we go back to the basics? You and I somewhere backstage, a camera in front of us, and we'll just do an old school interview?"

Success is finally found, as Johnny gets Romeo to smile.

Johnny "Come on man, what do ya say? It'll give you a chance before the match itself to remind people why they're fans in the first place."

Johnny extends his hand, but Romeo slaps it away. Before Johnny can hang his head low in defeat, Romeo pulls him in, and gives his good friend a hug.

Romeo "See, I knew you had good ideas. You go get everything set up bro, I'm gonna hop in the shower and put on something a little more flashy. Ya know, gotta make sure I bring the Razzle Dazzle for the camera."

Johnny hugs Romeo back, and the two smile as they let go and give one another a nod. Johnny leaves the room, and Romeo takes off his shirt as both men prepare for the upcoming interview. The camera fades to black...

to be continued.
