NEW MAIN EVENT 3: MENTOR VS. PROTEGEE

Sam
Bonjour mes aime and welcome to NEW MAIN EVENT 3!

Mac
Why did you say that entire thing in French?

Sam
Greg is Canadian and was forced to take French from grade 1 to 9 and what I just said is the extent of his knowledge from the 10 years of taking it in school.

Mac
Well enough of this gay non-segment.

RAZOR WIRE DEATH MATCH
CAM WORLEY VS. MIKE MILLER

Penny Lane
The following match is scheduled for one fall and it is a Razor Wire Death Match!

As Penny Lane stands in the ring the cameras focused on the ring. The ropes have been replaced by razor wire and outside the ring razor wire wrapped tables are set up with rolls of razor wire placed on top of them. As the cameras focus on all of this "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" by the Offspring hits and the lights begin to flash on and off until the chorus hits with an explosing of pyro and out comes Mike Miller to the general disinterest of the fans. When the pyro finishes he walks nervously toward the ring and slides under the bottom row of razor wire. He stands up in the center and waits for the match to begin.

Penny Lane
Introducing first, from Miami, Florida, MIKE MILLER!!!

Suddenly the horn from The General Lee, from the Dukes of Hazard Television Series, honks throughout the arena. From backstage comes an old beat down chevy pick up truck driven by Cam Worley. As he drives to the ring "Rock-a-Hoe" by Jackyl begins to play. He drives the pickup right to the ring and parks with his front bumper just an inch away from the ring. He then gets out of the truck and reaches into the back of his truck before pulling out a razor wire wrapped baseball bat. The fans cheer when they see the bat and Miller's eyes go wild. On the back of Cam's trunks the words "Kill Miller" are printed and he enters the ring with his bat ready to fulfill those words.

Penny Lane
His opponent, from West Union, South Carolina, CAM WORLEY!!!

The bell rings and Miller immediately slides out of the ring, just barely missing the razor wire bat Cam started swinging. Cam slides out of the ring and starts chasing Miller with the bat in his hand. Miller kicks a table over as he runs past it and Cam trips over it catching his knee in the razor wire. The limb starts bleeding instantly.

Mac
Didn't take much time for us to see some blood.

Sam
Seriously, why should anyone be interested in this match? Neither of these guys have been doing anything in the company. This match would be better suited to happen before a show when no cameras are rolling.

Miller's hauling ass when he notices Cam's hurt on the tron. He turns around and notices Cam struggling to walk and develops a plan. Mike sprints back toward Cam who tries to swing at Miller but Miller ducks under it and dives shoulder first into the injured knee. Cam instantly goes down as Miller picks up a roll of Razor Wire that fell off the table. Cam tries to get up but Miller blasts him in the face with the razor wire. Cam starts bleeding from small cuts under his eye and on his cheek.

Mac
Miller seems to be doing better in this match than Cam.

Sam
Who cares? Seriously who cares? This match is pointless.

Mike wraps the razor wire around his fist and mounts Cam before beginning to reign down punch after punch on him. This causes Miller's own hand to start bleeding as Cam's face gets covered in deep bloody scars. Cam however knees Miller in the apples out of desperation. Miller stumbles back holding his apples in pain as Cam grabs the bat with a free hand and swings it into Miller's calf. Miller starts hobbling around as Cam stands up. Miller tries to take Cam back down with a Spear but Cam puts the bat in the way and the bat ends up being sandwiched between Cam's gut and Miller's shoulder. Both men roll away cussing.

Mac
That was brutal.

Sam
It was pointless. Like this match. Like this pointless stupid match.

Cam grasps his stomache and starts crawling toward his truck as Miller gets up and nurses his shoulder. Miller grabs the bat off the ground and starts stalking Cam who uses the truck to get back to his feet. As Cam turns around Miller swings the bat and Cam barely dodges it but the bat goes through the passenger side window. Cam's eyes fill with rage as Miller stands there in shock.

Mac
Uh oh!

Sam
He's gonna kill Miller!

Mac
Thought you didn't care.

Sam
Shut up.

Cam tackles Miller to the ground and starts throwing blows wildly. Miller blocks most of them before grabbing Cam by the collarbone and pushing the redneck off of him. Miller than gets up but Cam pins him up against the ring and starts throwing more wild punches. This time Miller retaliates by pushing Cam into the truck. Miller then leaps up a Drop Kicks Cam in the face causing the redneck to fall back into the glass from the shattered window. Cam immediately tries to roll away as you see shards of glass sticking out of his back.

Mac
This match is getting good.

Sam
It's still pointless.

Miller runs up and grabs Cam before lifting him up and tossing him back into the ring. He slides in after him and tries to get a rising Cam with a Clothesline but Cam delivers a Drop Toe Hold. Cam gets up while trying to pluck pieces of glass out of his back. He then notices his car and you can slowly see an idea forming behind his wild eyes. When Miller gets up, Cam grabs him by the hand, pulls him in, lifts him up in a Fireman's Carry, and flips him over the ropes back first onto the windshield and hood of the truck.

Mac
I guess Cam stopped caring about damaging the truck.

Sam
Probably just thought it would make a cool spot for the people who read this pointless match.

Mac
Yep.

Miller starts getting up on top of the hood and Cam reaches out to grab him over the Razor Wire. However, Miller grabs Cam's arm and hops down off the truck, pulling Cam's arm down through all the Razor Wire. Cam tries to pull away while kicking and screaming. You slowly see blood ooze out of his arm as you realize it's stuck in the Razor Wire.

Sam
If you're of the faint of heart you might want to turn away now.

Mike walks around the ring as Cam tries to free his arm and he grabs a Razor Wire table. Miller slides it in the ring and starts setting it up as referee runs down with wire cutters to free Cam. Miller watches as the referees free Cam's arm from the razor wire and then Miller immediately lifts Cam back to his feet, drags him toward the table and delivers a Smiley Face through it.

Mac
I think Miller just killed Cam.

Sam
Yay, now we can get this over and prepare for Bombtrack vs Doc. You know, the match people actually care about.

Miller pulls Cam out and pins him.

Last week on NEW TV just before the over the top rope challenge someone attacked Tombstone and Troy Turner is on the hunt for the culprit.

Mac
Someone didn’t want Tombstone to compete in that match and I’m looking right at Eric Donavan.

Sam
Just because he was the first at the scene?

Mac
That certainly didn’t make him look innocent and he doesn’t have any proof that it wasn’t him.

Sam
What about James Stall? Can’t rule him out.

Mac
He was with me during the attack.

Sam
HE WAS NOT!

Mac
How do you know?

Sam
Because you were with me when the attack happened and James Stall wasn’t here.

Mac
Touche Sam. Is that French?

Sam
*Sigh* Can we please move on to the main event.

Mac
Let’s do it.

NO HOLDS BARRED BEST TWO OF THREE FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE
BOMBTRACK VS. DOC HOLIDAY

Penny Lane
Ladies and gentlemen it is time for tonight’s main event! The following no holds barred match will be the best two of three falls! Introducing first, making his return to NEWera Wrestling, from Oakland, California... DOC HOLIDAY!

Ambitionz Az A Ridah starts up as Doc Holiday's NEW Era-tron video begins playing. Doc emerges from the smoke wearing his custom white board shorts with purple outlined in black lettering that read "NEW'S" on the front and "BAD" on one leg and "BOY" on the other leg. Doc stands at the top of the stage as the crowd cheer's, he lifts his arms up as Fireworks light off simultaneously. He walks down to the ring slapping some of the fans hands as they stretch out. Once he gets to ringside he stands flat footed and jumps onto the apron and turns around and raises his hands as the crowd cheers, he then turns around and spring boards into the ring, and goes to the nearest turnbuckle and just stares off into the crowd as they cheer him. Soaking it in.

Sam
Four months ago Doc Holiday broke his leg during a World Heavyweight Championship match against RAW Randy Altzer and here he is fully recovered. I’m so happy for him.

Mac
Doc continued on with the match too Sam. It was a really inspiring moment for NEWera.

Sam
You actually have something nice to say. Shocking

LIFE IS A MYSTERY...

EVERYONE MUST STAND ALONE...

I HEAR YOU CALL MY NAME...

AND IT FEELS LIKE HOME...

"Like A Prayer" by Madonna blasts on the PA system. The fans get up from their seats, some booing and some cheering as the top of the ramp begins to fill with smoke. The smoke gets thicker. Bombtrack bursts through the smoke and beats on his chest before throwing both arms into the air.

Penny Lane
And his opponent, from Battle Creek, Michigan... BOMBTRACK!

"When you call my name
It's like a little prayer
I'm down on my knees
I'm going to take you there."

Bombtrack storms down to the ring and slides into it. He climbs to the second turnbuckle; pounds hard on his chest with both fists then raises his arms in the air. He jumps down from the turnbuckle ready for action.

Mac
Bombtrack is going to be teach Doc Holiday a lesson tonight.

Sam
This match isn’t about lessons Mac, it’s about mutual respect.

Mac
That’s so gay

The bell sounds and the match is underway. Bombtrack and Doc circle each other before locking up in the middle of the ring. Bombtrack overpowers Doc into the turnbuckles and releases him when the referee pats BT on the shoulder. Doc gets up and locks up with Bombtrack again and again Bombtrack overpowers him into a turnbuckle.

Sam
Bombtrack is obviously the stronger between the two and making sure Doc knows it.

Mac
Bombtrack is going to dominate his protégée tonight.

They lock up again but this time Doc gets behind Bombtrack, drops to his knees and sweeps BT’s feet bringing the big man down. Bombtrack gets right back up and is taken right back down with a dropkick. Bombtrack gets back up and again brought right back down with a dropkick to the knee. Bombtrack gets back up and is near the ropes and is taken out of the ring with a clothesline from Doc Holiday. The crowd goes wild chants.

DOC! DOC! DOC!

Sam
Doc Holiday with some nice offence there.

Mac
True, but as this match goes on we’ll see the ring rust on Doc Holiday.

Bombtrack paces on the outside of the ring and allows himself to be distracted by some fans. As he turns back to the ring he is hit with a top rope plancha from Doc. Doc gets BT up and whips him into the steel guardrail. Doc runs at BT with a full head of steam and almost gets his head clotheslined off by Bombtrack. Bombtrack picks him up on his shoulder and runs with Doc and drives him into the ring post. Bombtrack gets Doc off the ground and sets him up for a suplex into the ring post. He lifts Doc up, but Doc fights it in the air and swings back down and catches Bombtrack with a DDT.

Sam
A great counter by Doc Holiday!

Mac
Bombtrack is getting nasty here and I love it!

Doc Holiday gets on the ring apron and waits for Bombtrack to get up. When he does he runs and dives at Bombtrack with a flying leg scissors, but Bombtrack uses his power and tosses Doc into the crowd. BT climbs over the guardrail to follow Doc and the referee follows them out into the crowd. Bombtrack takes Doc and delivers a high, hard body slam on the concrete floor and makes the cover.

1…

2…

Doc kicks out!

Sam
Our first close call in this match.

Mac
I think BT had him there. The count was a little off

Sam
Whatever.

Mac
Ok Silverstone.

Doc pokes BT in the eyes as he brings him back up. The two battle through the fans and Bombtrack takes a kids coke and throws it in Doc’ face then takes him down with a leaping clothesline. Bombtrack gets Doc to his feet and gives him an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on the concrete floor and makes the cover.

1…

2…

Doc kicks out again.

Sam
Another close fall by Bombtrack.

Mac
Bombtrack will get Doc down for the first fall soon enough.

Bombtrack takes Doc by his neck and forces him back to his feet. With both hands on his throat he tosses Doc over the guardrail and back just outside the ring. Bombtrack hops over the guardrail and goes back to his prey. He rams Doc’ face into the steel steps repeatedly. He then takes Doc and whips him into the stairs will all his might sending them way of course.

Sam
Bombtrack is just overpowering Doc tonight.

Mac
He can overpower Doc any night.

As Bombtrack makes his way over to Doc, he grabs his trunks and pulls BT into the ring post then school boys him.

1…

2…

Bombtrack powers out. Doc stays on Bombtrack by mounting him and laying into him with heavy right hands. Doc gets BT up and rolls him into the ring. He takes a section of the ring steps and puts them in the ring. Doc climbs to the top ropes and takes Bombtrack down with a cross body into a pin fall.

1…

2…

Bombtrack kicks out!

Sam
Doc getting in a couple close falls of his own.

Mac
But not enough to put Bombtrack away for the first fall.

Doc takes the ring steps and places them on Bombtrack and climbs up the top ropes again. This time he jumps off with a double foot stomp onto the stairs driving them into Bombtrack’s body. Doc makes the cover.

1…

2…

Bombtrack kicks out. Doc waits for BT to get back to his feet. He jumps up on him for a tornado DDT, but Bombtrack avoids it and takes Doc down with a spinebuster then locks on Cruel And Unusual Punishment (ankle lock)!

Mac
This will be the first fall in Bombtrack’s favour.

Sam
Not if Doc can escape it first.

Bombtrack is really applying pressure to Doc’s ankle as Doc fights to find the ropes. He reaches out, but just isn’t close enough to grab hold of them. He drags Bombtrack and himself a little closer. He lunges forward and grabs the ropes but Bombtrack pulls Doc back to the centre of the ring. A second time Doc pulls himself towards the ropes. He gets a little closer. The referee keeps asking him if he submits but he just won’t give up. He lunges for the ropes again and grabs a hold of them. Bombtrack tries to pull him away but Doc has a really tight hold of them. The referee physically forces Bombtrack to break the hold.

Sam
Doc didn’t tap!

Mac
But I am sure that it did a lot of damage.

Sam
One of the few times I agree with you Mac.

Bombtrack gets in the referee’s face and gives him a hard shove. The ref doesn’t back down from Bombtrack and shoves him right back. Bombtrack is about to punch the referee, but Doc grabs his arm and spins him around, kicks him in the gut and delivers a snap DDT and makes the cover.

1…

2…

Bombtrack kicks out!

Sam
Bombtrack almost struck a NEW official! What’s gotten into him?

Mac
Doc wanted to face the monster and that’s what BT is giving him.

Doc sets the stairs up in the middle of the ring. He gets Bombtrack up and kicks him in the gut. He jumps up for a fameasser. When his leg is on the back of Bombtrack’s neck, Bombtrack shoots up and catches Doc with a powerbomb on top of the steel steps.

Sam
Bombtrack caught Doc big time on that one.

Mac
Cover him BT!

Bombtrack must have heard him because he gets up and makes the cover on the top of the stairs.

1…

2…

Doc just gets his shoulder up. Bombtrack gets to his feet and positions Doc for The End (double underhook piledriver) on the top step of the stairs, but Doc uses all his might to lift Bombtrack over his back to the mat. From the top stairs, he does a moonsault onto Bombtrack.

1…

2…

Bombtrack kicks out!

Sam
Another close fall in this match.

Mac
No one has scored a pinfall yet.

Sam
How very observant of you Mac.

Mac
Thank you Sam.

Doc gets Bombtrack up and brings him over to the steps. Before he can do anything, Bombtrack gives Doc a jawbreaker. He again sets Doc up for The End. As Bombtrack brings him up Doc wiggles himself free. He tries to give Bombtrack a german suplex but BT won’t budge. He reverses to get behind Doc and gives him a german suplex just missing the steel steps.

Sam
If Doc hit the stairs we would have our first fall.

Mac
Hey…. You were being sarcastic before about how observant I was.

Sam (mockingly)
Noooooooo.

BT gets Doc up and for a third time sets him up for The End. He pulls Doc up by his arms and drives his skull into the steel steps. He grabs Doc by the legs and pulls him off the steps to the mat and makes the cover.

1…

2…

3!

Penny Lane
The winner of the first fall… BOMBTRACK!

Bombtrack immediately goes for another cover.

1…

2…

Doc kicks out. Bombtrack gets him up and sets him up for another The End. When Doc is lifted up for the move, he reverses it into a hurricanrana on the steps. Both men are down.

Sam
What a great reversal by Doc. Come on Doc make the cover.

Mac
No don’t.

Finally Doc Holiday drapes an arm over Bombtrack’s body.

1…

2…

Bombtrack kicks out at the last possible moment then rolls to the outside.

Sam
I have to hand it to Bombtrack. That was a nice move rolling to the outside in front of us here to catch a quick breather.

Mac
He is a veteran in that ring and knows exactly what to do.

Sam
But Doc Holiday is bringing one hell of a fight.

Doc rolls to the outside himself and surprises Bombtrack with a flurry of martial arts kicks mixed with boxing style punches. He takes Bombtrack down with a spinning back fist. He walks over to the timekeeper’s table and grabs the ring bell.

Sam
What do you think Doc has planned?

Mac
I think he wants to ring Bombtrack’s bell.

Sam
You’re a nerd.

Mac
You’re a bitch.

Doc waits for Bombtrack to get up. When he does Doc charges at him with the ring bell and knocks Bombtrack in the head with it sending him flying onto the announce table. He looks at a temporary knocked out Bombtrack then looks at the top turnbuckle and smiles. He hops up on the apron then hops onto the top ropes.

Sam
This is how Doc Holiday broke his leg against RAW! Let’s get out of here Mac!

Mac has already bailed. Sam does the same as Doc Holiday gives off the top turnbuckle WITH THE 187 (630 SENTON SPLASH) THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!

HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Doc places his arm on Bombtrack.

1…

2…

3!

Penny Lane
The winner of the second fall… DOC HOLIDAY!

Sam
We are back folks. What a crazy night this has been. Our table is smashed and we have two bodies beside us giving it everything they have.

Mac
I can’t believe Doc Holiday attempted the same move that broke his leg!

Sam
I don’t know if these two have enough left for one more fall.

Doc Holiday is starting to get back up to his feet. He uses the guardrail to make it fully to his feet as Bombtrack gets back to his feet. They begin to throw punches at each other like they just started a match. Bombtrack drops to his knees and gives Doc Holiday a low blow. He gets back into the ring and picks up the steel steps. He walks over to the ropes and throws them at Doc Holiday who is just able to roll out of the way.

Sam
Bombtrack could have seriously injured Doc Holiday with those stairs. He’s out of control!

Mac
Who cares about Doc Holiday? I am like 10 feet away!

Bombtrack motions for Doc to get back into the ring. In fact he yells.

Bombtrack
Let’s finish this in the ring.

He backs off to let Doc Holiday get back into the ring.

Sam
Well that is a really respectful thing…

But as Doc rolls back into the ring Bombtrack charges at him and hits a flying leg drop on the back of his head.

Sam
… Never mind.

Bombtrack again locks in the Cruel And Unusual Punishment on Doc Holiday.

Mac
This is it Sam. He is going to make Doc tap out.

Bombtrack leans forward and really locks in the hold. Doc is writhing with pain but shakes his head when the referee asks if he submits. He grabs hold of the ropes, but Bombtrack drags him away from them. Doc refuses to tap out to the submission hold.

Sam
There is still some fight left in Doc Holiday.

Mac
Tap Doc! TAP!

Doc again uses every bit of his strength to use his legs to force Bombtrack to break the hold. Doc hops back up limping a bit but still brings Bombtrack down with a spinning back kick followed up a bulldog and makes the cover.

1…

2…

...

Bombtrack kicks out. As Doc gets Bombtrack back up he elbows Doc in the stomach, steps back and delivers a pump kick knocking Doc down near a turnbuckle. Doc steps out of the corner and blasts Doc with a Death By Impact (gore)! BT makes the cover.

1…

2…

...

3!

The referee notices that Doc’s foot was on the ropes and waves off the three count.

Sam
Great call there by our referee.

Mac
He just can’t change his mind like that.

Sam
If he has just cause he can.

Bombtrack is livid. He gets right into the referee’s face and the ref gets right back in Bombtrack’s face telling him how it is. Doc Holiday spins BT around and gives him several martial arts kicks to the gut. He jumps up for a Savate kick, but Bombtrack ducks and power clotheslines the hell out of Doc Holiday.

Sam
That was an absolute vicious clothesline by Bombtrack.

Mac (mortal kombat one voice)
FINISH HIM!

Bombtrack gives Doc Holiday The End and makes the cover.

Mac
IT’S OVER!

1…

2…

...

DOC KICKS OUT!

Mac
FIX!

Sam
I can’t believe he kicked out.

Bombtrack has had it with the referee. BT gets up and shoves him to the mat. The referee gets up and shoves Bombtrack right back. Bombtrack is making empty threats to the referee as the ref holds two fingers in his face. Doc returns an old favour to Bombtrack by giving him a low blow. He climbs to the top ropes and dives off with The 187! Both men are down.

Sam
What great action in this match.

Mac
Bombtrack had him beat at least twice already.

Doc Holiday drags his body over to Bombtrack’s body and makes a cover.

1…

2…

...

BOMBTRACK KICKS OUT!

Sam
I am blown away by this match.

Mac
I have to say that these two have left it all in the ring and little outside it too.

As Doc Holiday gets back up, Bombtrack grabs his feet from below bringing him down then gets himself up and locks on the Cruel And Unusual Punishment for the third time. They are near the ropes but just out of Doc’ reach. Bombtrack really wrenches on Doc’ ankle. As he screams in pain he is able to grab the ropes. BT is not letting go and the referee starts counting.

1…

2…

3…

4…

Before the count of five Bombtrack pulls Doc away from the ropes.

Sam
I don’t think Doc Holiday can hold on for much longer.

Mac
Don’t let him out of the hold BT.

Doc is fighting the pain will all his heart. He aggressively shakes his head no. He will not quit. He crawls for the ropes. He lunges forward and is able to grab hold of the ropes again but BT will not let go of his ankle

1…

2…

3…

4…

Again Bombtrack pulls Doc away from the ropes. The crowd begins to chant.

Let's go Doc! (clap, clap, clap, clap, clap) Let's go Doc! (clap, clap, clap, clap, clap) Let's go Doc! (clap, clap, clap, clap, clap)

Sam
Bombtrack is going to get himself disqualified!

Mac
They are cheering for the wrong guy!

Doc fights with everything he has left to grab the ropes. With complete desperation he crawls almost in tears from the pain. He grabs the ropes for the third time. Bombtrack doesn’t even let the referee begin the count as he drags Doc in the middle of the ring.

Mac
This one is over! Look at the look in Bombtrack’s eyes!

Doc Holiday is lying motionless on the mat as Bombtrack relentlessly wrenches on his ankle. The referee raises Doc’ arm in the air and lets go. His arm falls to the mat.

1!

He again lifts Doc’ arm up and lets go. His arm lifelessly falls to the mat.

2!

The referee lifts Doc’ arm in the air for a third and final time and lets it go. As Doc’s arm falls to the mat, he miraculously comes back to consciousness, twists his body and traps Bombtrack in a small package!

1…

2…

...

3!

Sam
HE DID IT!

Mac
NO! NO! NO!

The crowd is going wild!

Penny Lane
Here is your winner... DOC HOLIDAY!

Sam
Bombtrack was positive this match was over and was surprised when Doc seemingly rose from the dead.

Mac
I saw Doc’s arm hit the mat!

Sam
You did not Mac! Doc Holiday won this match fair and square!

Bombtrack is leaning up against the turnbuckles in shock as Doc Holiday uses the ropes to pull himself back up.

Sam
Doc wanted to defeat the monster inside Bombtrack and he did exactly that!

Mac
I can’t believe this!

Doc limps his way over to Bombtrack, but BT won’t even look at him.

Sam
What is Bombtrack deal?

Doc puts his hand on Bombtrack’s shoulder, but BT slaps it away and rolls out of the ring.

Sam
Why is Bombtrack being such a sore loser?

Mac
Wouldn’t you be if you lost to Doc Holiday?

Sam
Not at all, Doc Holiday is a very tough competitor.

Doc is calling Bombtrack back to the ring, but BT just keeps walking up the ramp.

Sam
Doc’s return match was a success and it’s great to see him back in NEW.

Mac
As long as you think so.

NEW Main Event 3 fades out as Do Holiday disappointingly watches Bombtrack walk away from him like a spoiled child.
