[The scene opens to the Lourve where we see Bombtrack sitting on a bench in the main lobby.]
Bombtrack The Golden State Wrestling Academy was great tragedy. This industry is extremely competitive and some young kids with a tremendous amount of talent don't reach their potential because they weren't given the opportunity. The GSWA was a place for those kids to tune their talent and reach that potential. I call it a tragedy because the Academy could've done so much and it's a shame that it's closed down. Admittedly there were quite a few busts in the GSWA, but there was one lone standout; one man that rose high above all the others. I was the first to see the potential in that kid and I took him under my wing. That kid went on to become a NEW Television Champion, a North American Champion and World Heavyweight Champion. I am of course talking about James Stall… snoogins… he’s never won the Television or has he? I can’t be bothered to check the Championship history right now.
[BT looks into the camera and shrugs.]
Bombtrack Doc, you’re one of my best friends and I’m extremely proud of everything that you’ve accomplished in this business. Wrestling is a nasty business filled of selfish men. People can say whatever they want about the man I used to be, but did anyone see Troy Turner take a young superstar under his wing? Or how about Psychosis or even Jimmy Helmsley? No? Anyone? I don’t see any hands in the air. The man that will be remembered as an evil tyrant was the only NEWera Superstar to lead a kid from the GSWA. Doc may never have reached the heights that he did if I didn’t see that potential in him and guided him. I am by no means taking any credit away from Doc, I just want people to know all the facts.
This match means the world to me and I know that Doc has been waiting for this match for a long time. It’s always so exciting for the protégée to get their chance to defeat their mentor and I should know. 10 years ago almost to the day oddly enough I took on my mentor so I know exactly what’s going on in Doc’s mind right now. Luckily for me, Doc is a bigger man than I was when I was in his position. Doc has been nothing but a class act leading up to the match where I weaseled my way into my mentor’s marriage to gain a psychological advantage over him.
[Bombtrack gets up from the bench and walks into the gift shop.]
Bombtrack It’s hard for a man to admit this, but Doc Holiday is a bigger man than I am. Not literally of course I’m a frigging house of bricks. I felt that I needed to gain that psychological edge in order to defeat my mentor. I set him up to be attacked to weaken his body and I openly betrayed him minutes before the bell rang. I got cocky and do you know what all of that did for me? I lost the match. All of my underhanded tactics did absolutely nothing for me and I looked like a damn fool. Ultimately that night turned me into a more lethal predator. I took my “evil” tactics to a new level because of that loss.
[BT picks up a bobble head Mona Lisa.]
Bombtrack This is really cute.
[Bombtrack grabs a basket, places the bobble head into it and continues shopping.]
Bombtrack I showed Doc the ins and outs of this business, but right now he’s teaching me how to be a man. Doc hasn’t done one single underhanded tactic at all. I was getting my ass handed to me at the end of NEW TV and he came out to save me. He could’ve left me to the wolves, but he didn’t. When I made an open challenge, he answered it like a man and when that bell rings he’ll answer that call like a man too. Our relationship begin with me as the mentor and Doc as the protégée, but right now at this very moment I feel like I’m Doc’s protégée and I truly mean that.
[BT places the bobble head on the counter and pays the cashier for it. He accepts the plastic bag the clerk puts the trinket in and walks out of the gift shop.]
Bombtrack Paris is in for a real treat tonight because a true competitive spirit lives inside Doc Holiday. Best two of three falls anything goes and that’s exactly what you’re going to get. Doc and I are going to make each other bleed and we’re going to batter each other mercilessly with weapons. I do love Doc Holiday very much, but I want to give him the match he’s been dreaming about. He wanted to face the monster and that’s exactly what I’m going to be at NEW Main Event 3. I owe that much to Doc.
Doc admired me so much when we first met and after what I saw from him when he broke his leg during a match it is I who admires him. Doc broke his leg during a World Heavyweight Championship title defense and continued the match to the very end. I saw so much courage from Doc on that night and I’m so happy that he’s made a full recovery. I was supposed to be the teacher, but the reality of it all Doc is that you’ve taught me so much Doc.
[Bombtrack exits the museum.]
Bombtrack This world is full of disappointments. I’m currently experiencing one at this moment. I was under the impression I could learn how to louge here.
[BT shrugs]
Bombtrack Three months after the Rolling Stones released the song “Satisfaction” the fans demanded another smash hit from the band. The Stones were in no way obligated to meet this request, but soon “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” hit the airwaves. I know this promo isn’t my best Doc, but like a wise man once said, “this world is full of disappointments.” That wise man was me.
[BT winks at the camera.]
Bombtrack This is going to be fun Doc.
[The scene fades to black.]
