The deafening echo’s of the arena could match any major classed earthquake with how loud everything felt. The walls behind the stage and under the arena shook with force, you couldn’t keep a cup down without it vibrating off the table. New Era’s premiere event of the year Vindication 3 was only half-way into effect but the night was already as magical as the city that hosted this grand event. Down the halls we find stage crew members, security making patrols, celebrities and other personal alike littered the arena but the deeper we went in, the more scare the existence of humanity.
It was in the last door, just before the boiler room where we stopped the camera, the last room with it’s door just open by an inch. Like the cat the camera curious found its way into the room where we found it almost empty; empty except for the slouching figure, his back to the door as he sat on a bench. The closer the camera moved in the more clear we could make out the scars that are scattered around his shoulders and lower back. His head dropped but he could tell of the presence as we too quickly made out the body to be Nightmare.
“One would think that this match I had tonight was the setback everyone expected me to have; full of talk but yet never able to capitalize for a victory.”
Gavin chuckles to himself as he turns himself around on the bench to face the camera, you could see the bruising that Lucifer had inflicted into Gavin’s body as his shoulders and throat show the signs of said damage.
“But I will allow those who talk ill of me to continue to speak there claims with no sign of truth. I say this because I told you all that in victory or defeat I would make my impact be felt; I warned you all that I would make everyone know that I am here not as the steeping stone but the landslide I am growing to become.” [/b][/color]
“Tonight in that ring I took the biggest man in this company to his deepest limits, I pushed Lucifer Hawks to the brink of defeat. Though his mask hid his anguish I could tell that he was wearing down as all giants slowly do. Lucifer did pick up the victory but it was I who found the glory that came with such a match; throat raw and body sore I stand to all now as the broken man most would expect me to be.”
Gavin lets out a chuckle as he stands to his feet.
“For those who paid attention I want you to realize that it wasn’t a move that was Lucifer’s that defeated me; it was my own. Lucifer realized that to defeat me he had to mimic the same move that was slowly tearing his foundation to the crumbling ruins that was leading to his downfall. And unlike those who constantly ignore me Lucifer took notice; Lucifer made me give in to my own creation and left me laying with a Chelsea Grin.”
“Tonight was only the beginning of the storm that I am; Lucifer can vouch that I am not the person everyone expects to face in this ring. The cinders of my rage are growing inside me; the cinders are what’s guiding me to my success. So I take the loss of battle because I know war is far from over between me and New Era. So send in your warriors; give me your tributes and sacrificial lambs Nikki and I will make you watch in horror as I carve out there eyes and give them an everlasting image of my destruction. I don’t need to let cheap tricks and horror movies talk for me; I don’t need to pander to the fans anymore because I know they don’t pander to me.”
Gavin chuckles once more as he drops his head, his voice quietly dropping to a lull as he stands in the room.
“Hell is coming Nikki Blaine; the dead are stirring in their makeshift graves and sacrificial landmarks.”
Gavin looks up at the camera, his sick and twisted grin planted firmly on his face.
“Hell is coming Nikki and there isn’t anyone in this company that can detour me anymore.”
On those words we watch as Gavin chuckles to himself as he stares at the camera; the camera man slowly backing out and away from the room as we quickly cut to static.
