::The sound of her own voice echoed in her brain as she got out of the taxi that had taken her to where she would be training. The earbuds for her iPod were in place, she had been listening to the Three Day's Grace cover of The Chain, pretty much on repeat as she thought about what she would be doing today.::

Brandi: "Oh!" ::licks lips:: "French Vanilla with a side of Andy! My favorite!!"

::It was too. Such a sweet moment for the two of them and she didn't even care that it had been on camera. Let them see her sleep-tousled and very real. Let people realize that there wasn't a single fake thing about Brandi Storm. Sure, most of those with the ability to look up a few things on Google would know that her birth-name hadn't been Brandi, but according to the court documents she had it was now. Lisa Mae Summers was now just a memory in a High School yearbook and a few things she had saved from them. To be honest, she had never felt so right, so free in her whole life as she had when that little court appearance was over. She continued to learn more about wrestling every day, trained harder with both Andy and Alexa Cole. That worthy lady had taken time away to come up and set up a special training seminar for her wrestling school Camp Amazon, and she was going to help Brandi train for her very first TLC match. She had only had one ladder match before this, and while she hadn't won she had really done well for herself. Almost she'd had that case. Almost she'd had that win. After that loss she had found out that her contract with her former company had been developmental only and she had learned a lesson about the wrestling business that it sometimes took a man or woman years to gain. Sometimes no matter how much you love it, wrestling will break your heart.::

Listen to the wind blow
Watch the sun rise
Running in the shadows
Damn your love, damn your lies

And if don't you love me now
You will never love me again
I can still hear you saying you would never break the chain
And if you don't love me now
You will never love me again
I can still hear you saying you would never break the chain

::Wrestling would break your heart worse than a bad boy or girlfriend, it would lie to you, tell you it loved you back with the same full heart you loved it. Brandi had learned her own lesson with that heartache, when she had given everything she had and still had not managed her goal. Without the encouragement of Andy Titsuhiro she might have given up right then and there, but he reminded her that Brandi Storm was not a quitter. That she was strong, and capable. Andy Titsuhiro knew how much Brandi adored him, but to this day he likely did not understand that he was also her hero.

Alexa had given her a few lectures after she had confessed to Brittney and Mrs Cole just how down on herself she had gotten. But instead of making her feel worse it gave her more strength, more resolve to do better. To make her trainers proud, to make Andy proud. To give the fans everything, not because of ego or the need for glory, but because they loved her ... and she loved them back. So when she was given the chance to come to NEW, she took it with both hands and vowed to never let go.::

Listen to the wind blow
Down comes the night
Running in the shadows
Damn your love, damn your lies
Break the silence
Damn the dark, damn the light

And if you don't love me now
You will never love me again
I can still hear you saying you would never break the chain
And if you don't love me now
You will never love me again
I can still hear you saying you would never break the chain

::Wrestling might break her heart again one day, but Brandi Storm had learned her lesson and Andy had helped her to remember it. No matter how bad it got, getting knocked around in the ring by people far more brutal than she was, getting strains and bruises, working herself until she could almost not go another step ... no matter how bad it got, Brandi was going to do whatever it took to succeed and still remain true to NEW and its fans.::

Brandi: "I can't give up now. What would that mean for the fans that support us? TLC. Tables, ladders, and chairs. One of the most dangerous matches out there for everyone involved that still isn't considered hardcore. I've had one ladder match in my career to date, and while Andy has experience in these things, this is just more than I've encountered. That's the truth. And yeah, I'm nervous. A little scared even. Not of the team we're facing. Sin Inc. Lizzbethia and Kerryn Kali, they're dangerous enough in a regular match but this ... a TLC ... that's an environment I think they'll likely thrive in. I don't know if they have more experience in these matches solo, Kerryn likely does. Not more than Andy I'd bet, but he looks the type to relish this sort of thing. Ladders are bad enough, but you add in chairs? And tables to be put through? I bet he's positively salivating really. I can't match that. But Andy can. He doesn't want me worrying so much about this, but how can't I?"

::Her normally perky voice is low, soft. Entering the building Alexa has rented for her use, it's quiet and still pretty dark. The emergency lights are on, softly glowing in the rafters of the building and giving wan light to the darkness. Red, yellow, white. The EXIT sign especially is attention getting for Brandi, its soft red glow a lure to the clean air outside. It's a little cooler in here than outside, but the air seems oppressive to the bubbly blond. In here, she's going to learn a few things that could help her in the controlled chaos of the match ahead. One last glance at the exit and she squared her shoulders and approached the ring. Along the padded floor around it were set up a few tables, near them a stack of metal chairs, the low lights gleaming on the steel surfaces. In the ring were a pair of regulation sized ladders, the rungs wrapped with black electrical tape. In the shadows of the room Alexa Cole moved silently, her strong form wearing spandex running pants and a tank top, the running jacket unzipped over that. Brandi can't tell what color the set is, its just too dark. But the intensity in Alexa's gaze as she looked over at her student was unmistakable. The Amazon Warrior was here today in full force, the gentle voice of the woman that was an incredible trainer put away for the day. She had been a groundbreaker in her former company, she and Aurora Jansen had been the first in that place to ever wrestle a TLC match, not just the first women to do it. That day, the Women's Championship had been on the line. For Brandi Storm and Andy Titsuhiro, it would be the tag team titles.::

Brandi: "Hey Alexa. I guess ... I'm ready as I'll ever be."

::Brandi removed the earbuds of her iPod, setting the thing on top of her bag after putting it with the gear. She had on her usual training outfit, pink and gold sweats with a matching top, though at Alexa's insistence she'd worn longer sleeves. Hair was drawn back into a braid much like her trainer's, and her pretty face was bare of even a drop of makeup. A sigh hovered on her lips. She'd much rather be in bed with Andy still, his warm body a comfort to her. His presence in her life was like that, he was there for her and somehow she knew that if they had their way, he would always be. But doing this, this extra training with Alexa was something she had to do alone. She had to gain experience using these objects in a match, before he and she could work on things like strategy on how to win. They'd joked about it, putting the belt on her sexy waist and she'd protested that his was just as sexy. But if they were going to win it would take more than smiles to get there.::

Brandi: "I've never held a belt before. This will be the first real chance we've had as a team too, to get the gold. I need to do whatever it takes to get us that win, without betraying the fans. We want to give them a team to look up to, that they can get behind and cheer, that they know respect them as much as they do us. Some people say that the fans are fickle. But I think they just really need someone to believe in, and that's what BrAndy is. We're for real. This means the world to us, now we just gotta prove it. Alexa, I'm scared."

::Alexa's voice floated up from the darkness just before she snapped on the gym lights, the brightness of the incandescent bulbs as they hummed and warmed up almost blinding Brandi as she climbed the steps into the ring, taking those motions that would drive her toward her future.::

Alexa: "Yeah I know. I can see it in your eyes. But what I also see? Is that you're not going to let that fear stop you. You're going to step up, you're going to do what you're not sure is possible for you. That's why you and Andy have an advantage here. I'm sure that Sin Inc, being a couple they've got that chemistry other teams lack, but I've seen you and him together and you've got that too. What's going to set you apart is heart. You've got heart, Brandi. You and Andy together are something special and I know you won't waste this chance. So come on, we've got work to do."

::Brandi nodded, pausing after she slipped into the ring and put her foot on the nearest ladder.::

Brandi: "I can do this. For Andy, for the fans, and for NEW."

::Brandi knew it wouldn't be easy, but in the end everything they were going to put themselves through at Vindication III would be worth it.::
