The Flow 93.5 Radio Station
12:30 pm

Zoe looked up at the large brick building that housed the radio station for The Flow here in Toronto, glancing up at the flowing letters that identified the building as such. She took a deep breath, smoothing out her hair as she pulled open the door and stepped inside the building, listening to the door click shut behind her. The various sounds and such of the building filtered to her and she cautiously stepped forward on the carpet, walking to find someone to talk to, to tell her where she could find James Redi, the guy who had originally contacted her in the first place to appear on the station to do an interview before the NEW Generation event happened. She was nervous as could be, being this was her first time doing an interview on a popular radio station. She knew that Silver had done something similar like this just before Fear happened, and he had made a mention to her shortly after to start looking into it. Find a place that would be willing to talk. They were out there, she just had to look for them.

She stopped in front of a tidy looking receptionist’s desk, biting her lip as she waited for the girl to get off the phone with whoever she was talking to. Finally she did and looked up at her quietly, tilting her head slightly as if wondering what she was doing there in the first place.

“Can I help you?”

”Yeah, I’m here for a radio interview on The Flow? A James Redi got a hold of me about a week ago about it. Could you tell him I’m here?”

The receptionist blinked once, then nodded as if she couldn’t understand the question at all and picked up the phone, punching a few numbers before going silent again. Zoe turned her head away and looked around the small lobby, glancing at the art on the walls, mostly of artists that had visited in the past, music related of course. She saw a few that she recognized and smiled, fleeting memories of driving down a long stretch of road late at night with the music blaring loudly in the car, trying desperately to sing along with the words.

Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now
Wish right now

“He’s on his way out to see you.” The receptionist said, shaking Zoe out of her own thoughts as she blinked and looked back at her, giving her a shaky smile before nodding her head. Her foot tapped on the floor a few times before she saw a tall figure round the corner, revealing it to be none other than the man she was looking for. A smile graced her face as she stepped forward to meet him halfway, extending her hand to shake his as he greeted her.

”So there’s the woman of the hour, the Supernova herself, Autumn Raven. Good to see you here finally. Or I should say welcome to Toronto. First time here?[/i] He said, guiding her back towards where the interview would be happening. She followed besides him, talking the entire way there. She hoped she wasn’t being too much for him already. She hoped.

”Thanks for having me here. I’m excited to get this interview underway. I like the city so far though, being it is my first time here. Only seen a small part of it though, seeing as I’ve had to do some preparations for the event in a couple days.” She replied, heading through the doorway where there was lots of activity. Another one of the DJ’s was already back there, reading something on a piece of paper as he looked up as they walked in. He smiled and got up, shaking her hand, recognizing her.

”That’s Sean over there, being lazy as usual. Just kidding. He’ll be sitting in on this too once the music ends. Take a seat right here, and all we have to do is wait. You nervous?”
Zoe nodded her head at that. [color]”Yeah, I am to be honest. Never done something like this before. But I’m excited at the same time.”

James smiled, laughing at her a bit. ”Ah, don’t worry about it. It’s just gonna be a few questions, talk a little about NEW Generation, and that’s about it.”

From across the way, Sean put his headphones on, signaling to James to do the same as the song started to end.

”And we’re back here on the Flow 93.5, your station for the best music in Hip-Hop and R&B today here in Toronto. Right now, in the studio, we have one of the stars from NEWera with us. One half of the tag team The Silver Dragons. Give it up for the lovely Zoe McDraven.” James announced, clapping a few times before stopping.

”Thanks for having me here. I’m enjoying being in Toronto so far.”

”Nice. So a native from San Fransisco, Cali. How long you’ve been in the business up to this point?

”Just about 3 years or so. It seems like it’s been forever though. I can remember watching wrestling on TV as a kid all the way up till now and saying, I could do that why not? I’m a woman, there have been plenty of successful ones out there so let’s do it. I got into a good place that taught me everything I needed, wrestled around the independent circuit for a while until NEWera picked me up and signed me. That’s pretty much my story.”

Another nod. ”Right on. Alright, let’s get to the real business of the evening. NEW Generation 4 is coming up in a few days and you and Silver Electro are in a six pack challenge match against one of your opponents from Fear Itself, The Brooklyn Bad Boys. What’s going through your head at the moment on that?

”Lots of things. I mean, they did put up a good fight at Fear and it was a blast getting into the ring with them. They’re tough competitors through and through, the two of them are. They raised our hands at the end which was a sign of true competitorship on their part. As far as Generation goes, I’m looking forward to getting in the ring with the best tag team out there, Triple B, the Brooklyn Bad Boys. They’ve had their ups and downs in this business, but I want to really see what they have. I want them to come at me and Silver with everything they have and leave nothing behind with this. We’re coming off a big win and we want to continue that as the contenders to the Titles. My good wishes go out to The Brooklyn Bad Boys. Hope you guys bring it.

”Strong words from Zoe here. We’re gonna take a break, but we’ll be right back with some more questions and we’ll take calls here in the studio if you wanna call in and ask her anything.”

The music starts to play as the DJ’s and Zoe continue to talk, the scene fading away.
