Outkast
NEWera Rookie
[ * ]
The night was nearing a close. Doc Holidays victory party would be ending soon, at least for Outkast and Delilah Doom anyway. The brother and sister made their way down a cold, rainy Boston street. Cars honked as they passed, drunken college co-eds flashed the champ. All he could do was wave and smile.

Delilah
“SO... did you get a chance to check out Xavier Magnus's latest promo gold?”

Outkast
“Not yet, why? He lay into Kidd Love pretty good?”

Delilah chucked to herself with a smile and a nod.

Delilah
“No, not exactly. I'll show you when he get back to the room.”

Minutes later there they were seated in front of the TV watching and listening intensely as Xavier Magnus went on and on about... something. Once it was over Delilah turned to her big brother to catch his reaction. He nodded with a look of approval.

Outkast
“Cool story, bro.”

With that he waved goodbye to his sister and off to bed he went for tomorrow a point would be proven.

How To Be An Asshole Effectively

A camera switches on inside an empty or rather semi-empty Wachovia Center. All around we can see different faces employed by NEWera Wrestling doping what they do from testing the lighting to going over plans for the show. The camera is spun around so that we can see who is holding it. None other than Outkast stands there with a huge cheesy grin swept across his face courtesy of Dean Jones.

Outkast
“Hi there loyal NEW followers it is I your current reigning World Champion and I have some sort of point to prove that will in the end not prove a damn thing other than the obvious. Am I speaking in riddle? Now I could sit here and deliver a twenty minute Chris Rollz ether filled rant about how I don't like Xavier Magnus but the truth is I don't hate Xavier Magnus. I just don't think he deserves anything until he proves he can be useful. However, I feel that something should be said since Magnus is expecting it. There will be words regarding feelings towards Xavier Magnus but... they wont be my own because I have nothing to say. This... this is what Xavier Magnus's fellow employees feel about him.”

Outkast flashes a cheesy grin once again as we star wipe to another shot, this time sneaking up behind a distracted Jack Erickson. Jack spins around startled at the sight but mainly confused.

Jack Erickson
“What the hell are you doing, freak?”

Outkast
“Oh nothing... just wanted to get your view on Xavier Magnus.”

Jack Erickson
“Xavier Mangus? Who cares about that guy? Is he even in NEW anymore? He comes and goes more than Jimmy Helmsley’s title runs. But in all seriousness, I don’t know too much about the man. I never had the chance to meet him in the ring, probably because he is too busy jobbing to rookies. I mean he put it on himself, always complaining, making himself look like a bitch when she’s on her period. Furthermore, a few guys in the back started a fantasy football league, which I must add I am undefeated in, but he started complaining about there not being a veto on the trades. Who the hell cares? If someone is dumb enough to get screwed by an unfair trade, so be it. All he does is bitch and moan. Other than that, he is just some guy in the back.”

STAR WIPE!

Chris Rollz
“You need a couple words for what? This dude is gonna be back by Christmas. You're probably better of just askin me to be his secret fuckin santa. Tell you what, how about we just split the difference... 20 dollar limit, just have Blaine take it out of my check. Get that nigga a gift card to bath and body works... maybe some lavender incense... maybe he'll relax a lil bit.”

STAR WIPE!

Doc Holiday
“Yeah I knew that, nigga. We hung out a couple times. He is a client of Ramos, but other than that, I didn't really know the nigga. I respect what he did for NEW in the beginning and his recent run. Good luck Nigga, hear its tough in this economy.”

Outkast
“You're talking like he died.”

Doc Holiday
“He didn't?”

STAR WIPE!

RAW
“Bitch goes in and out like a dildo. Spends enough time unemployed to collect Welfare checks, yet comes back enough to think he's the God damn Undertaker. Problem is, people are sick of it. Fans hate my ass. They don't even acknowledge him anymore. His prime was late 2009 and early 2010. He's past it now. So go ahead and put him in the same home y'all stuck Hannibal Caine in because people in this company now consider Xavier Magnus to be as bad as him.”

STAR WIPE!

Jimmy Helmsley
“ You want me to say something about Xavier Magnus? If it weren't for our little twitter feud, I wouldn't even know he was still in this company. Xavier's problem is that he lacks respect and has no passion for this business. He lives for the past when he was in the prime of his career. If people can't let go of their prime in the business, they'll never succeed in the present. Xavier Magnus is the perfect example of that. You were great in the past and you could be great right now. New Era Wrestling once again rids itself of a cancer. Good riddance.”

STAR WIPE!

James Stall
“He pays well.”

STAR WIPE!

Troy Turner
“Magnus acts the way Psychosis should!”

STAR WIPE!

Once again we focus on the beautiful face of Outkast smiling from ear to ear.

Outkast
So there you have it, the NEW rosters view on Xavier Magnus.”

His smile quickly fades.

Outkast
“So the next time you decide to wave your opinion or warped paranoid views around make sure we actually want to hear it.”

Who Knows Outkast Best

Delilah Doom
“I figured it was time I finally said something. I've sat back for years in the shadow being the obedient baby sister of Marc Maron, Outkast, your World Heavyweight Champion and as much as he likes to say he's changed, in my opinion he hasn't changed all that much. Marc likes to tell you, the viewing audience, that he has come to terms with who he is and really he has in a way. If you would have saw the way he was just a mere two years ago you wouldn't recognize him. He was a mess, driven by emotion. Marc... still feels emotion, he just doesn't allow anybody to see it as much now.

I'm not making excuses for his outspoken nature or his tenacity to tell it how it is. I guess you can say I'm trying to make sense of it all for you. Marc isn't talking down to you, in his mind he believes he is motivating you to step up, show everything you have. When he orders you to earn his respect, chances are he already respects you but feels you need to get angry, get tougher than what you had been showing previously. People rarely if ever respond to holding hands or nice chitter chatter. What people do respond to is raised voices and harsh words. It really gets the fire started from beneath you.

That's the reaction he wants and people give him exactly what he wants. In a way, Marc bullies you into going above and beyond. Maybe its a nice gesture or maybe its just sick and twisted.

Marc isn't going to deny Turner, Bombtrack, or Psychosis a title shot, he just wants them to put in as much work as the next generation does. Marc fears that his generation has become complacent to the point they feel they no longer have to work to earn something. If you haven't noticed, the bulk of production around here is done by guys like Doc Holiday, Matt Starr, Hisoka, Zenna Zdunich, the list goes on and on.

Your champion can't always express himself in a positive way. His phrasing sounds harsher than it actually is intended to be. Tough love you can call it. But the moment you start whining to him, don't be upset if he doesn't give you the answer you're looking for because you'll never get that answer.

Whether it be this roster, this business, or whether it be me, his baby sister... Outkast is a protective individual. He's been fathering this industry for far too long and some times he can't realize that he doesn't need to put the weight of the world on his shoulders. It all boils down to trust. He doesn't trust anybody to do it as good as the next person. He's a hands on type. If you want something done right then do it yourself they say. Arrogance is only part of what makes Outkast who he is because as arrogant as he can be he can be just as loyal and honest. Just don't cross him or you will pay for it for years to come.

His wish is that this business will one day not need him but can any of you honestly say he isn't needed? I know I can't. And if you can say that then you're lying to yourself. That's your own arrogance talking.

Because without Outkast... there is no professional wrestling.

Outkast IS professional wrestling.

And as always... this means something.”
