This is my first RP I posted for WWA. Their coding is weird over there though, its BB for segments but html for RP's, go figure. ANd it double spaces. Whatever. Anyway, I posted this RP and it pissed two people off over there. I'm failing to see how I offended anyone.

........................................

WWA's independence Day Rumble; this was Outkast's latest task at hand. He was no rookie when it came to clusterfuck battle royals having won two in his life time but none of them even compared to the WWA. At one time the WWA was considered the biggest organization in the world but that was a long time ago. Now, the place was barely getting back on it's feet and was calling out to the wrestling industry for help getting back to where it once was. Armaan himself reached out to Outkast to enter the rumble. After much deliberation he agreed. Did he want to stay in WWA after it was all said and done though? Outkast wasn't quite sure. He had a good paying job elsewhere and was taking CWC by storm. What did he have to gain by joining the World Wrestling Alliance? Well for starters, if WWA did get back to a place it once was then he could take credit for it. After all, that's the kind of thing Outkast did, take credit for other people's endeavors.

Outkast

“They hold this event in DC because it's the nations capitol yet fail to realize just how terrible of a wrestling city this is. The crowds are always dead... soulless even. I mean I understand the concept being independence day and all but give me a break.

You'll be lucky to hear a cricket chirp in that venue yet alone a cheer. Lucky for the WWA I get a reaction anywhere I go. Now imagine if I win the IDR... imagine what that will do for business. I honestly believe its in the WWA's rosters best interest to throw themselves over the top rope or let me pin every single one of them. You do want the WWA to prosper, right?

But that's highly unlikely. You see, people have something called pride that doesn't allow them to see the reality of a situation. Sure me winning is whats best for the company but lets face it, none of these guys want whats best for the company. They're all in it for themselves because they're selfish. They're all selfish yet I'm the one who gets booed. But in the end no one in this industry is as smart as me so I really can't blame them for their ignorance.

But not only do we have ignorance and pride... we also have self doubt. Take Seth Copeland for instance. Copeland is one of the biggest stars in the company and he is questioning whether he had any business going after the WWA title. He has absolutely no desire to win. Is this what I'm up against? The monster in a mask hiding from the world is... doubting himself? The man loses a couple matches and it's the end of the world. Well thank you Copeland for making this entire thing one man easier for me to topple. You can go over all your past accolades all you want but the fact of the matter is you still don't think you have what it takes... no, that's wrong... you KNOW you don't have what it takes. If one of the top guys here is like this imagine what the others are like?

As for the rest... well... I'll be honest, I see nothing that I need to worry about and no not because I think I'm that much better. All I see when I look around at the WWA roster is a lack of substance... a lack of heart... a lack of self worth. Sure you have the ideal 'I'm going to win this and NONE OF YOU WILL BE THE SAME AFTER ME!' but at the end of the day... we will be the same. Shallow threats are just that, shallow threats. You can hear all the voices you want and warn us that the end is nigh but lets face it... WWA is just beginning, you can't end anyone. How's that for being a realist?

And to further my point of how depressing this place is you have guys on the roster who are more worried about what people are saying about them on forums and in chat rooms and on Youtube. Do I really need to say names? I will. Cyan Figaro gives us false promises and cliché hopes. He isn't going to set himself up to fail and make up for lackluster performances in the past... look, if you want my advice which I doubt you do, get over yourself. Stop worrying about what internet smarks think of you and just do it. Stop being such a whiny push over and just do it. But I do agree with what has been said. 'There’s a new guy, named Sean Figaro. And this guy highlighted what was “fake and gay” about wrestling.' That's not all, ' This Figaro dumbass though, for all his weeks of “More than a man” bullshit, showed that he’s no more than a fucking joke. If I never see this bland, vanilla wafer in the ring again it will be too soon.' Oh it gets better... 'Cyan Figaro is a new guy in the WWA and he’s a failure. The guy showed nothing and I figure he’s canned next time they cut some talent.' They have a point. But what they fail to realize is, nearly everyone in WWA is the same.

You have guys who don't know how to play their roles and guys who think they're edgy and bad ass. Jack Griffiths is one of these. You see, I've known Griffiths for a very long time and the guy hasn't changed one bit and that's not a good thing. Griffiths never evolved with the business. But I'll be honest, its not that Griffiths thinks hes breaking some kind of secret wrestling code by disregarding all the rules between good guys and bad guys, no... he doesn't know the rules.

Heres a lesson in wrestling 101, the good guys do good things and the bad guys do bad things. If you are the self proclaimed good guy you don't go out on national TV and trash the other good guys, it confuses people and trust me, the wrestling audience is easily confused. Sure you can pump in cheers from the speaker system but at the end of the day you aren't the good guy. You're just another selfish prick who wants the best of both worlds. Jack Griffiths wants to be the bad ass, the anti-hero, but he fails at it so much that he comes off bitter at best.

I see a common theme around these parts and it makes me sick. I think I know why Armaan came to me... he needs me to save the WWA from a self induced destruction. Sure, I'm not the only one he reached out to having got in contact with a few rookies from GSWA and other places but I'm not them. Unlike Doc Holiday or Zero, I'm a real threat. Here we have Bruce Pepin giving the order that anybody in the industry can take part in the independence Day Rumble but not once did he think any new comer would ever stand a chance, not against his mighty roster of self loathing, depressing, moronic warriors. No way can anyone match them... well, Pepin didn't count on me. He never saw me coming and now he's stuck with actual talent. He's stuck with someone who can back up every word he says.

The trick to being effective is to believe every word you say and I believe everything I say. I speak the truth and nothing but the truth so help me God. I don't play the crowd up or make them hate me, they hate me because I'm the only one who has the balls to be honest with them. When push comes to shove nobody likes honesty. They want to be lied too... they want to be shown smoke and mirrors like Jack Griffiths or Seth Copeland.

And I know most of you watching this, listening to this, I know you're rolling your eyes thinking to yourself 'what does this guy know? How can he tell us what to do or think? We've been here since day one and this guy can just waltz in and tell us what we're doing wrong?' Well I can. I can because I am better than you, I am smarter than you, and I am bigger than the WWA as a whole. While you guys hide inside your precious circle afraid of the outside world that is the industry, I'm out making a name for myself, I'm out making the industry bigger for the next generation and not because I'm a nice guy and want to give back but because I'm building the industry in my image.

It's only a matter of time before I'm on the cover of every promotions programs, posters, on the splash page of every website, on the box of God damn Wheaties. Simply put, I am bigger than Jesus, bigger than wrestling, bigger than the Beatles, and bigger than breast implants. I'm the biggest thing to his this industry, bigger than guns, bigger than cigarettes. Bigger than your egos and no, I refuse to stroke them. But in the end you will stroke mine because you will be forced too once I win this entire thing.

How is it going to feel when an outsider walks in... and passes over those of you who have been here for years? I'm going to be laughing all the way to the bank.”

I was responded to "in character" but its clearly ooc lol. This is from Jack Griffiths on their trash talk board or whatever its called. I'll post my response after.

..............................

You don't know me Outkast and despite what you seem to think, we've never met.

But recently you chose to slip into your manufactured persona and run an ill-advised and frankly fairly generic heel promo; you spoke candidly about how you knew me and how over the years I never changed with the business. You seemed to fail to realise, that I haven't always been, what they call, a babyface.

When I came into the WWA I was a lot like you; I too was confused about who I was and what persona I wanted to adopt. So I chose, like you, to pretend to be arrogant to hide my insecurities and the flaws in my technic but slowly I grew out of that, I realised how cheap and childish it was. You see being a heel is easy, you come on TV, talk about how much better you are than everyone else and then walk backstage, pat yourself on the back and declare it a good day.

Getting a cheer from the crowd is much harder. You have to walk a fine line between becoming too super and between becoming as bland as, well you diatribe; stray too far in either direction and the fans stop caring, the cheering goes away and you end up wallowing in the quagmire of mediocrity. Get used to that feeling, because it happens to one-dimensional heels too.

So after a few months, as I grew in confidence and grew in ability I changed the persona I portrayed on screen; I bought my on-screen persona more in line with who I really was and as time went on I found the crowd started cheering for me more and more each week until eventually I found myself having to pretend to hate friends I had backstage; that stopped being pretence the day my face was crushed.

In that moment the cheers became meaningless because if cutting down other "babyfaces" was going to get me boos then so be it, but each and every-time I go out to the ring I am doing it for the fans, I am doing it to inspire them to have the same beliefs and convictions that I do. The belief that helping out your friends isn't something that should be scripted, it should be a natural reaction.

So when I go out to the ring, on my way to entering the rumble and the fans still cheer my name remember one thing, people are more intelligent than you give them credit for. They appreciate honest above fakery and modesty above arrogance.

I don't have to proclaim that I am bigger than the WWA, bigger than wrestling and a better wrestler than anyone here. I have the talent to show that in the ring, unlike some.

My in character response.

...............................

Bruce Pepin came to me and said I was being fined for my actions on the last Underground taping. I said fine and accepted my punishment. But do I regret what I did? No, never. You see, what I did was more than just an assault on a paying customer, no, what I did exposed the WWA for what it is, a fraud of a company. The entire time I was out there I was allowed to do anything I damn well pleased and not one security guard, official, or wrestler from the back came out to defend that man and his son. And do you know why? Because everyone in the WWA looks out for themselves and nobody else. How are you supposed to cheer for men that have absolutely no back bone, men that refuse to go to bat for the people who pay to see them.

The men employed by WWA are hypocrites but so is this company. A company that calls itself the World Wrestling Alliance, tell me, who are you allied with? The WWA has closed themselves off from the rest of the industry and refuses to acknowledge the presence that maybe something better is out there. Sure, they opened their doors to new comers to come in and compete in the independence Day Rumble but they did it out of greed and necessity. The WWA is hoping that these new comers will stay and compete for them and only them. So in essence I understand why the workers of the WWA are so self righteous and in to themselves, its because the company is.

And yes, I have heard all the complaints regarding my actions last week one of which is 'That wasn't very WWA like...' Well would you all care to explain to me what WWA like is? Is WWA like blurring the lines and making it unclear who the heroes and villains are? Because I am like all the people watching at home, I don't know who to root for and I don't know who to hate because every single person in that locker room is the absolute same. They all lie to themselves on a daily basis and refuse to acknowledge what they are and who they are. I know who I am and I'm not afraid to show it.

I am not a good person but at least I can admit that to myself. Guys like Jack Griffiths hide behind a persona but when it counts they show a completely different attitude and ignore peoples reactions because they have no idea who or what to like. They're just as confused as the roster is.

Now going back throughout my entire career I remember every single person I ever came across from opponents to dish washers. I pay attention simply put. Half of you can't see past yourself to know who you faced last week. However, not being able to see past ones own reflection is an ongoing trend here in the World Wrestling Alliance.

And in the end my words don't matter? Then why are you responding? You're responding because I hit a chord. I touched on something that hits close to home. I called you out for who you truly are and you know I'm right. But I'm always right. You're not the good guy in this situation, you're not even the bad guy...you're insignificant. The business has passed you by and the only thing you can do is cling on to a past legacy while sporting a bitter attitude.

Nobody cares how you trained every day since you were seventeen or how you won this championship or that championship. Well, at least anyone who matters doesn't care because in the grand scheme of things you are an ant. You are an ant inside an ant hill filled with thousands of other ants. A ant so into himself and his looks yet forgot to work out his legs. The legs didn't matter as long as everyone saw the chest, abs, biceps, the rest doesn't matter. Do I need to show any more proof of how fake Jack Griffiths is? Do I need to expose him anymore than I already have?

But even after this is all said and done the masses, the sheep, they'll continue to chant his name, they'll continue to look up to a man who could care less about them. Jack Griffiths the family man, the family man who leaves his family behind. Someone who doesn't want to be like his father is sure failing at that. You leave your family behind, allowing your kids to grow up without a father just like yourself. But here you are Jack... here you are being selfish again just so you can buy a new car. The only thing that drives you is money, Jack. You'll never admit it though, will you? What's it going to take Jack? What's it going to take to admit you're a fraud? To admit you're a selfish prick? To admit you have no clue what you're doing when you step in front of the cameras?

We all see it Jack... you're the only one blind to it all. And I hear you wondering 'Why? Why has he picked me? Why is he doing this to me?' Because you're an easy target, Jack. You brought this on yourself, Jack. I'm just the only one willing to tell you the truth.

Your words are hollow Jack, they have no effect or bearing on me. My words however, cause you to react. You felt the need to respond in true Jack Griffiths fashion, defending why you do what you do. Jack, once again thinking he's too cool for school calling me a heel, letting us all in on the secret. Keep on lying to yourself Jack, you do it long enough you start to believe it yourself. I see you've bullshitted yourself enough to honestly believe your every word.

The truth is you've lost all passion, you've lost anything that makes you, you. Here you are spewing a bunch of garbage about how you stopped pretending and you do this for the fans. If that were true, you'd play ball and get with the program but you refuse because you're a rebel. You're a douchebag and nothing more, Jack. But keep breaking the fourth wall and ignoring that I'm not the only one who has brought this up.
