Notes: You can change the colours and punctuation if you don't want lower case, but leave the credit intact.
general rules,
- respect - this forum is a friendly, happy place. people don't want to feel as though they're not welcome here, so don't let it happen. treat people how you would expect to be treated.
- no spamming - it's annoying, and it will only make the staff dislike you, so don't bother. no double-posting either, unless in the allocated 'spam' forum.
- maturity - this forum is rated-r, so if you don't like things like violence, swearing, sex, drugs or rock n roll I'd suggest you find somewhere else to hang your hat.
- name registration - good example: Gabby Bunton. bad example: sexi_gurl69. k? k. you may include middle names, if you wish, but they are not compulsory.
roleplay rules,
- no god-moding or power-playing. you will play your character and your character alone.

Wrong Post: "Tom threw the football at Jeffry, which hit him in the face, and knocked Jeffry down the stairs."
this is not allowed. you cannot be the one to decide what happens to another.
Right Post:
- Quote:
-
"Tom threw the football at Jeffry, aiming at his face."
"Jeffry ducked and watched the football fly past him, relieved that he wasn't knocked down the staircase behind him."
not perfect, i know, but it's an example. again, you cannot decide what happens to another person.
- stay in character. don't fill your threads with out of character posts. you may include a small ooc part in your posts, but please put these in brackets, or write 'OOC:' before them, so we know.
- no Mary-Sue/Gary Stu's. i cannot stand them, and they will be burned alive if ever they try to join this forum. no one is perfect, and even though your character is fictional, it doesn't mean they get to be perfect.
- place warnings for explicit content. if your characters intend to have sex, do drugs, act violently toward each other, or anything remotely mature, you must post a warning either before it in the thread, or request for an admin/mod to edit it into the topic title/description. not everyone wants to read it.
- stay active! it really does suck when someone you're rping with disappears. so, don't do it to anyone else, and it won't happen to you. when registering your character, please post 'SECRET WORD HERE' at the bottom of your applications to show you have read the rules. if someone you are rping with disappears, and they aren't responding to your bombarding them with private messages, contact an admin. also, if you know you are going to be leaving us for some period of time, let the staff and anyone you are currently 'entangled with' know, so that we won't delete your account.
