Sending a Pm to the Following Players Agent is Quite Easy: The rankings are from 1-5 for each category. The rankings are as follows: Urgency: 5: Today would be nice 4: This week would be dandy 3: Anywhere from 2-4 weeks 2: I can wait quite a long time 1: Get back to me before July 1st is all. Importance: 5: This could make me as good as the Canadiens of old. 4: This is a core player and I need him 3: Doesn't make or break me but I need him to be competetive 2: Meh 1: I really don't care that much The urgency ranking will come first and that's how I go through my PM's. If someone has a 5 urgency and another has a 4, I go to the 5 first. If they are the same, then I move on to importance. If both rankings are the same then I move on to which was sent first. If that's the same then you guys suck and I'll delete both....seriously...nah I'm just joking. Here's the model of how to set-up a PM. The Title:
Notice that the letters are lower case and in brakets. Also make sure to note that the last name comes first. Bulk of the PM: Inside the PM, the first line should be the players overalls. If you don't have it...sorry, better luck next time. With the salary, number of years and any clauses listed clearly following the player and his attributes. After that you plead your case....make it good. Take your time, don't rush it and sound business like. Starting off with, "Hey Exodus917, sup? This guy needs a contract," will not impress any PA in this league. I am not Exodus917 when you PM the PA. I am an agent and I take this very seriously. If you don't that's fine but don't expect to get any gold stars.
A properly sent contract offer will be formatted like this: (u4, i3) Kovalchuk, Ilya Ilya Kovalchuk LW 26 6389260 2 33 95 81 87 61 65 63 90 81 74 51 71 75 87 63 79 Years: 7 Salary:$7,500,000 Clauses: NMC Explanation of why Ilya Kovalchuk should resign with New Jersey. Ask away if you got questions. |
