i was wanting to buy a flying v the other day, and i realized they cost a bloody fortune! i looked on ebay and they cost nearly the same there as they do there! i went to my nearest music store, and saw an epiphone flying v for 400 bucks!!! thats 1200 dollars less than the gibson!!! i played it and it sounded the same as the gibson, so i now am leaving the following!! my question is why the huge price difference for the same guitar? |

most of the price difference is the name. there is also something to besaid for the price of better woods used in construction, that really don't affect the sound that much, but are a whole lot more expensive. |
