The fine line between insanity and creativity
Character Name: Dr. Isabelle Slur
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Faction: Umbrella (Leader)
Sidekick: Gospel

Image: Full body

Face

Gospel

Quote: Humans and cyberspace are the future! ~Slur

Appearance: See images.

Likes: Humanity, cyber-technology, black coffee

Dislikes: Sentiant robots, the pioneers of sentiant robots (Light, Wily, all of them), human experimentation (a necessary evil), her failed experiments

Pros: When it comes to biological and cyberatronic research, Slur is a genius. She can work wonders with DNA and computer code. She's also a great multi-tasker, able focus on multiple things at once. She also holds a lot of security complex access codes, and even though she doesn't know all of them, she can access most of the computer systems in the world.

Gospel's strength is hard to match, not to mention his hide is difficult to penitrate, both in navi form and the copyroid he uses to maintain a physical form.

Cons: Slur dispises sentiant robots, and holds a bias against all of them being like Alpha (she even claims Megaman is this way). Because of her physical frailty, she also can't fight, but she prefers it this way. Finally, she won't tolerate any disobeidiance, even if you provide a good excuse.

Gospel is a bit high-strung, and will lash out at anyone who even touches his mistress. He also can't maintain his physical form for over an hour, and needs to transport himself back into cyberspace every once in a while in order to let the copyroid recharge.

Background: After graduating from college with a degree in pharmisuticals and a degree in IT, Slur started off as a simple doctor. She opened a company call Umbrella, which dealt in medicine for humans and reploids. The company was a success for the most part. That is, until the Alpha Army rose to power.

During the war, the Alpha Army raided and destroyed most of the branches of Umbrella. Knowing that the reploids were acting out of their own free will, Slur began an anti-robot campaign, saying that if you give a robot thought, it will only lead to disaster. The campaign was crushed by child prodigy scientist Trill, who made the argument that he knows he isn't like that, and that many reploids aren't like that.

Furious at the young reploid and craving revenge, Slur went into hiding, determind to ruin Trill forever. After the prototype of Gospel, she created the twin viruses of Gregar and Falzer, programs that would turn reploids into beasts. Through hacking, she inserted a whole batch of them into the new-gen research facility. Through the security cameras, she watched in delight as Trill was forever transformed into Cybeast.

The viruses remained at the lab, only becoming active when volunteers tried to use the new-gen reploid technology. After a few weeks of this, the scientists finally caught on, and managed to neutarlize Gregar and Falzer. When this happened, Slur vanished into obscurity.

However, three days after Theta's attack on Doppler Town, Slur has decided to come out of hiding. Gone is Umbrella, the pharmasutical agancy. In its place is Umbrella, the terrorist faction.

Personality: Slur is cold, unyeilding, and set in her beliefs that all sentiant robots are evil. She believes that in order for humanity to survive, they must find a way to improve themselves biologically, and cyber technology will help them along the way. She's dedicated to her research, and always tries to find a way to make things work out for her.

Slur does have a softer side, but she hides it well. She mentally cringes at her own sadism when it comes to human experimentation, and only goes through with it because she believes that it is for the greater good. Despite her cold demenor, she's also quite social. She likes having a pleasent chat with her fellow scientists over a cup of coffee every now and then. She finds that it keeps her sane.

There is not much to say about Gospel: he's merely Slur's body guard dog.

Weapons: Neither Slur nor Gospel carry weapons. Slur believes she doesn't need them because of "mind over matter", and Gospel doesn't need them due to his overwhelming power.

Powers and Abilities:

Slur:

Access codes: Slur contains the access codes for dozens of installations all over the world. However, she can't gain full access to major instalations such as the Maverick Hunter HQ or Interpol.

Gregar and Falzer viruses: The two viruses that she has created, representing a wild dog and a feirce phoenix. The viruses remove sentiant thoughts from the reploid brain, and replace it with rage. Depending on the virus, the reploid will either become doglike or birdlike, and will go on a rampage.

Unlike Dark Chips, the Gregar and Falzer viruses do not need continual injections to maintain their effect. Once they're fully intergrated with the system, they remain a perminant part of the reploid's conciousness.

T-virus: During the interval between the Gregar and Falzer viruses becoming nulified and her second rise, Slur has experimented with a biological agent that would make man match reploids in strength. The T-virus does just that: it increases the strength of its victim while giving them an instinct to kill. The virus is only in its experimental stage at this point in time, and Slur is not ready to release it to the public.

Gospel:

Shockwave Roar: Gospel emmits a roar that creates a shockwave along the ground.

Gospel Breath: Gospel has the ability to breath fire.

Vacuum: If an opponent is too far away, Gospel inhales to make them come closer.

Fang & Claw: Like most beasts, Gospel also uses his teeth and claws in battle.

Tidbits and Trivia:

Slur and Trill have been friendly rivals before her campain against machines.

Slur doesn't mind being funded by the Neo Mafia, although she does question the integrity of some of its members (ie. sentiant robots).

Slur is currently working on a way to convert DNA into computer data and visa-versa. She's doing this so that she can establish diplomatic relations with navis.

Slur refuses to use the word "reploid", instead calling them "sentiant robots".

Slur knows about Dr. Regal's Dark Chips, and is unsure of what would happen if a Dark Chip user was also infected with the Gregar/Falzer virus. She doesn't want to find out, either.

Gospel's similarity to Bass' pet Treble is a conicidence, although Slur did base Gregar off of Gospel's design.

The only other person that Gospel is calm around besides his mistress is Grave. It's unclear why, but something about the boy puts Gospel at ease.

Sample of how you will role play this character:

"So, you fools caught on to my little pets, did you?"

Dr. Isabelle Slur watched through the lab's security cameras as the scientists began to take measures to isolate the Gregar and Falzer viruses. She knew they wouldn't catch her, but she did realize that they would now be ready if she sent more into their system.

Gospel watched as well, snarling at their failure.

"Oh, don't worry Gospel." said Slur, pettng her large hellhound. "We'll get our revenge somehow. But for now, let's bide our time. Let the fools live in ignorance of the sentiant robots trying to kill them for the time being."

She took a sip of her coffee and picked up a small test tube. "Because once I release my latest discovery unto the world, mankind will be able to face down and conquer the robotic menace. This is no age of machines, Alpha. When my plan comes to fruition, it will be the age of Man and Cyberspace!"

She laughed manically, holding the test tube to the light. The sample was marked T-Virus.
Snipe Anteater: Only a fool seeks answers from a bowl of oatmeal.

Generic villian: Are you calling me a fool?!

Snipe Anteater: No, a bowl of oatmeal.
