tack rules; Micklem multibridles and crank nosebands

I note that Micklem multibridles are allowed.

Have never seen one close up but the photo on the website seems to show (but doesn't mention) and extra clip from the bit ring direct to the noseband (as opposed to the strap or clip attaching it to the cheek strap). I am not refering to the "bitless bridle" configuration.

Firstly is this the case?

Secondly, since this would transfer a lot of of the pressure onto the nose, is this allowed?

Thirdly, I am assuming the Micklem as a bitless bridle is not allowed, though the rules do not specify?!

As to crank nosebands, again I have never encountered one but I assume, since they are basically a cavesson, that these ARE allowed, and at all levels?

Then the rule "must not be so tight as to cause discomfort" is the one applicable?
