For playstation 2 owners....they are gonna get a special Preeeeemium edition of Resident Evil 4. Now what's gonna be included with resident evil 4 is: - making-of-the-game DVD - a Resident Evil Prologue mini-art book - laser cell artwork of Ada Wong, a mysterious character who first appeared in Resident Evil 2 and returns to the series in this game. EB Games and Gamestop has also dropped the price of the standard edition of resident evil 4 to $39.99. Hmm....well I didn't know the game was also $40 for the Gamecube version. Guess I better go ahead and add this to my gamecube library after all. But come on....who didn't see this coming with the PS2 version? Of course the erm....sony console will get the extra stuff anyway and leave the gamecube onwer in the cold.....unless i'm wrong about this and someone has this collection with their gamecube. http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/08/10/news_6130662.html |

If I'm not mistaken there was a Special Edition of RE4 for GC that came in some collector tin or something of the sort. Oh, here is a link I found real quick. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=62053 |

Oooh. Booklets. Yipee! </sarcasm> There is also a plagas eliminator gun, but that'll make the game too easy. Eh, let it I say, the GCN version has better graphics. |

yeah thats the funny thing about this generation. All of these Sony fanatics are talking about the PSP and PS3's superior graphics, and how they can't live without the best graphics on the street.... but the GCN has better graphical processing abilites than the PS2!!! |

Sweet as moonshine!

This was expected. Sony has done this plenty of times in the past. Remember Mega Man 8? Where they gave out a booklet of the bosses from the past games? Still I think the Saturn version is better because Cut Man and Wood Man are bosses only in that one. It's just so sony can say that they have somthing Gamecube doesn't have. |

Well, this isn't something Sony does. Its something the 3rd party developers take care of. Remember Soul Calibur 2? |

It's not exclusive to the PS2, the exact same thing came out on GC. It's just one of those collectors items to get you to spend more money. |

I never pay extra for something that has no meaning for me. It's just an attempt to get you to buy a PS2 if you don't already have one. |
