Perhaps the most underrated game of this generation. It's got great story, music, characters, gameplay, the list goes on. But these dam* casuals hate it because its shoooooort, eaaaaaaasy, and because of its kiiiiiiiiiiiddy graphics. It may even be my favourite Game Cube game. |

Some would put paper mario 2 in that catergory. I couldn't agree more. I was like 20 when I bought the game.....so this whole notion of kiddyness is bullshit. Everything can't be volence and gore and whatever. |

I see more Nintendo fanboys bashing this game than other people. They look at it and say the graphics look kiddy, but they haven't really played it so they never say it's easy or short. Meanwhile, Nintendo fanboys compare this game to OoT, and say it's too short and easy, and Nintendo should never make a game like it again. The art style was beautiful. Never before have I seen a game where that much attention has been paid to aesthetics. I like it better than OoT because it's more fun to play. I don't care if it's smaller, it's more fun to play a good game over and over than play a long game once. This game really was my favorite Zelda. |

Wind Waker was great. I mean, who didn't like the dramatic final battle against Ganondorf? That my friends was certianly not kiddy. |

I don't know why it's so underated, and it shouldn't be bashed for being "kiddy." I'm going to have to play this game some day again now. |

I'm sick of people saying that this game is underrated, because it most certainly isn't. I am not a fan of this game at all, and I would put it in the top 10 worst Gamecube games. It's not because of the graphics, or because of it's easyness, it's because of the repetetive gameplay, the triforce task, sea charts, sailing, and worst of all: the fact that there are only five real dungeons; two of which you have to carry another character the whole dang way and constantly switch between the two to perform certaint tasks. To tell you all the truth, this is a game for casuals. It's annoying gameplay, yet great music and graphics, proves it. |

Yeah well to most of us this videogame will always be underrated. Believe it or not....wind waker was the first game in the series I ever bought (becuase I was still getting into the series at the time). And don't think for one minute I ddin't play anything better than that, becuase I also own a link to the past...which my mother gave to me around that same time...brand new. I never bothered to play it until later when I started to get into the series. Now look at me, I beat a link to the past, and OOT which game as a bonus disc with my then preordered copy of WW. I also beat that game as well, and yes it trully is a fun game. It is a classic...and it may have not had the best gameplay in the world, but it made up for it with interesting puzzles and sea exploration that didn't get boring once you found things to do out in the waters....i'm sure you didn't forget about those towers and subs and other things now did you? Who cares if it had 5 real dungons.....the fact was that I had a great time with it. Yeah your just gonna reply with "ohh your just a casual LOZ fan" or something along those lines. Say whatever you want, cuz I know WW was a classic....even if it wouldn't be in the top 3 LOZ games ever. You want to put a worst GC game on your list...put Mario Sunshine on the list. |

I for one actually enjoyed the sailing. I didn't mind doing it again and again. The temples were fun, and some were hard. It must have taken me a week to beat the one with Makar or whatever that guy's name was. I still haven't found all the treasures. To me WindWaker is an amazing game, and you don't appreciate it. Yeah, I said it. |

That's the point...there's nothing fun to do in the waters. It's boring and repetetive
Those made it worse.
I care. Dungeons are what Zelda games are all about. The more dungeons, the better.
I wouldn't say you're a casual because casuals don't see the declination of video games. Casuals think games are getting better.
I agree. Mario Sunshine was horrible. A game for casuals. |

I also liked this game. I did not find the gameplay to be boring, and unlike casuals like you I could care less how many dungeons it has. Besides, when I was sailing, I used the picture and picture on the TV. |

What do you mean it wasn't fun?? Looking for the pieces of the triforce was worth it. Looking for those hidden heart containers was worth it. Shooting your cannonballs at those annoying towers was worth it. And i don't see how it made things worse ether. As far as dungeons goes, you got 5, I mean those dungeons were long and big to explore anyways. It just amazes me how so-called hardcore gamers like yourself can sit there and bash this game. |

You know what I just realized? Anyone who hates Wind Waker 'cuz of the graphics should shut up if it looks kiddy.. because technically playing games is childish. (I'm only saying it is to the idiots who hate WW).. so those people need to shut up and play the game. I like how enthusiastic Link is in this game.. it's funny seeing him react to stuff.. ^_^ ahaha... that and the sounds and all are neat. |

Yeah, I personally enjoyed the Temple of the Gods. Great music and graphics. And how the hell could someone call smashing a bird's head with a hammer, or slashing a sword through Ganon's head kiddy? Give me a break, this whole kiddy thing is a bunch of crap. Also, I hate how people compare this one to OOT, as they're hardly similar. All that's the same is the targeting, and the weapon button thing. The best thing yet, there no damn annoying fairy! |
