Ok....take a look at this: http://media.xbox.ign.com/articles/607/607...mg_2735955.html You really think this is real? I doubt it. It looks too much like a high pixeled photoshop picture of what the next xbox might look like. But this picture right here got to me... http://xboxmedia.ign.com/xbox/image/articl...22071730404.jpg Well you'll have to click on it to see it since it's way to big to view in here. I still think this is a prototype of the console. I'd like to know how many wireless controllers can be used at once on this thing too. I also found this too.... http://media.xbox.ign.com/media/692/692807...5sec_wmvlow.wmv |

So, Vin Diesel and Chuck Norris walk into a bar...
|
...Huh. Looks odd. Just the sort of thing for a random interlude, I think. Who's up for some Soylent Green? |
| Vin Diesel is a monstrous entity who lies "dead but dreaming" in the city of R'lyeh, a place of non-Euclidean madness presently (and mercifully) sunken below the depths of the Pacific Ocean. Vin Diesel appears in various monstrous and demonic forms in early myths of the human race. Racial memory preserves Him as humanity's most basic nightmare. Vin Diesel is the high priest of the Great Old Ones, unnatural alien beings who ruled the Earth before humanity formed, worshipped as gods by some misguided people. It is said that They will return, causing worldwide insanity and mindless violence before finally displacing humanity forever. | |

Got an update on this. Well the look may indeed be the final look.....my source has just passed on some pics he digged up of what may be the final look of Xbox 360: http://img.engadget.com/common/images/1488407751772606.JPG http://img.engadget.com/common/images/1387385638449262.JPG http://img.engadget.com/common/images/8390...093567823500259 http://img184.echo.cx/img184/2264/cord0eo.jpg http://img244.echo.cx/img244/9095/83907313175637292tl.jpg http://img258.echo.cx/img258/834/ps2vsxbox25xh.jpg Alright.....first of all I dig the wireless controller. If i'm right, Xbox 360 will be the first console to have wireless controllers. An idea that Sony is looking at...and as usual...they'll copy/steal it becuase they can't make anything orignal that means something for their console. There's a button on the remote that could let you record TV on the 360 with the HD. So we know there will be a HD version of the console. The USB port on the bottom of the controller will let you connect it to a PC. See the comparsion.....interesting. My source also tells me that perfect dark zero was shown off in some presentation. So I guess you don't need to watch MTV after all....THANKS TO ME!! |

The Gamecube was the first system to have wireless controllers and those pictures look ugly. Go back to the green. |

Kickin ass and checkin' bars.

Yeah, these pictures do look legit. Compared to the previous XBox, it's a pretty drastic change. You go from big, bulky console to a dinky looking thing. I don't see why they had to change the controllers like that. I would have been satisfied with a wireless controller S. Well we'll find out during the actual revealing. ~S~ |

That's some pretty impressive gaming power, but I'll probably try out all three of the new generation machines before I buy one for sure. |

Best news ever! "Microsoft announced that Square Enix, a longtime partner with Microsoft rivals Nintendo and Sony, will be bringing Final Fantasy XI to the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live." & "Robbie Bach, senior vice president and chief Xbox officer in the Home and Entertainment Division at Microsoft, made Xbox fans around the world happy when he announced that the 360 will indeed play Xbox games." I'll get the free XBox live ... im so happy !!! Spurce- http://www.gamespot.com/x360/sports/madden...ws_6124746.html |

I was reading on how the backwards compatible thing would be really hard. I think that it might be a software emulation, or something like Xbox on a chip. It's pretty much impossible to make something as different as the Xbox and Xbox 360 compatible with each other. The Xbox was an x86 (Intel x86) system with an nVidia graphics card. The 360 is a PPC (PowerPC 64) system with an ATI graphics card. I would really like to know how they pulled off getting it to work. Software, or hardware? |
