Get ready for a Titanic style ballad by the Russian 'The Voice' winner Dina Garipova :P

When, where or how we will hear the song isn't known yet but it is called What If xD

This kind of is a bizarre situation. The song presentation has been pre-recorded and it will be broadcasted at 21.00 throughout Russia, meaning it's been 21.00 already somewhere far East in Russia and they heard the song but probably no one recorded it, meaning we might have to wait until it hits televisions in Moscow :P

It's a bit cheesy but in a good way . But it's a very typical ballad . Doesn't have any panache or originality. Don't hate it but I don't like it.

So one of the reasons for my meh review tonight is my bro is here and we are reviewing the songs. Say hi bro! *he says hi*

anyways he gave me a different look on this song. he grew up during the cold war.. saw the berlin wall being torn down on the news and watched the fall of communism in the soviet union and eastern europe and he pointed out to me the vast difference in freedom of expression in russia today and how a song like this wouldn't be a representative song from russia on the esc stage 30 years ago. so for him it has more profoundness. he's always more positive about the changes in europe than i am and feels the world is a better place than when he was a kid.

so i guess that gives me a new look on the song. still find it cheesy but at least it's cheesy in a decent way. should do fairly well in my rankings.
