From time to time, it is not uncommon around here to step on one another's toes with our differences. Like all humans, we can very easily piss each other off while arguing our opposing views. This is to be expected from time to time. This post is to serve as a warning that whatever you post you need to be prepared to defend! Mods and Admins will not jump in to settle disputes between members! If there's one thing that should separate us from intolerant fundy Xtians who can't get along on anything, it should be that we can disagree and contend over the issues respectfully and without being insulted. Do not take attacks on your position personally! No one is out to get you, but they may be out to "get" your position! A number of our members hold views that stand outside of the norm for freethinkers, and that's fine. But at times, it might seem like everyone else is ganging up on you. That is not the intention, but that's just the way it sometimes goes! So don't be surprised or offended when it happens! In a world of disagreements, a guarantee of non-conflict is impossible. There will always be conflict, so be comfortable with what you are posting. You are POSTING AT YOUR OWN RISK! (JH) |
