For those who don't know, I've been working on and off on a Colonial era Inselkampf (without water, thus no insel and all kampf :D). The idea of this game is to promote the kampf aspect and make the game more fun for everybody. Now with the death of W2, I plan on working on this again. So from everybody, Any suggestions? |

Maybe something to help the stupid out, like a notice saying "Do you really want to do this?" that appears when you attempt to attack an alliance member. Not really an important gameplay aspect I know.... |

Or send a "zero attack" fleet with all those precious cats. In fact a confirmation screen for every engagement with your battalions' strength, experience and morale, the estimated enemy strength and fortification etc. would be useful. |

That's a good idea. Maybe a better battle calculator that tells you the losses that you will incur, plus the enemy's. Although that may take a lot of the skill out of it. |

I was thinking of a scale like "walk-over" to "forlorn hope", rather than "12580 attack vs 5620 defence: 90% victory, 15.2% casualties". A more complex model, combined with LESS maths info might make a game that feels less like Excel.
Things like experience, morale and supply level would be taken into account, tactical options going into battle, maybe a rock-paper-siccors thing with troop types... you getting this egg?
