To get the 'Tis the Season Achievement, you must have 3 pieces of winter garb... the hat is one of them.

The hat currently drops from

The Red Winter Hat Is dropped by Grand Magus Telestra In The Nexus On both Normal and Heroic Difficulty.

The Green Winter Hat is dropped by Mage-Lord Urom In The Occulus On both Normal and Heroic difficulty.

There is also a slim chance of getting either hat as a world drop.

sooooo...

I need (at the least) 3 hats. but preferably 5.

which means i'll be running it a lot, and it is rumored to be dropping a couple of hats per run.


The good news is, with my super awesome achievement skills, I've found a quick way in and out of the nexus.


Go to The Nexus, Coldarra and take the lowest entrance to "The Nexus: The Nexus".
From the start, take to your left.
Kill one dragonkin tank-and-spank.
In the next room, keep taking left route.
There will be a patrol of one humanoid and two demon-dogs (banishable) Dogs can Silence the target they attack for 4 seconds, so be awared.
After that there will be a hall with the frozen Horde warriors (or Alliance if you are Horde).
You CAN skip them even if you are not rogue. Just don't go close to them.
They thaw once you get melee distance with them.
After hall, there will be another patrol with humanoid and two demon-dogs. Sneak past the 3 humanoids (go near the right wall) and you are near the Grand Magus room.
There are a couple more pat between you and the boss. Kill them and move on

Voila, the Winter Hat!


So... who wants to come with me to run this place a few times in a row, we'll get everyone a hat (i have no problem with that) however I have plenty of room, as I really need like 5 of these.

It drops in heroic and normal, so i figure we'll do normal to make it go faster.
