| Guild Nirvana is aligned with the Luxons. Our goal is to be a place where having fun in game is the paramount concern. We want to pursue all aspects of the game. Be it GvG/PvP/HoH/AB or PvE that you are interested in, our aim is to provide a community where like minded individuals can fully enjoy the aspects of Guild Wars that interest them most. Guild Nirvana uses this forum to organise regular in-game activities and to allow members to plan their game-time so that they don’t miss out on the activities that they’d enjoy most. For this to work, all guildies need to be willing to actively participate in the forums. The guild maintains a mature, friendly atmosphere and has some ground rules which all guildies need to be in agreement with. It is run on a democratic basis with decisions taken by the guild member We hope that this gives you a flavour of our guild. If you are interested in finding out more, please register on our forum and visit the Join Guild Nirvana sub-forum which has more details about our aims, the application process and is the place to post any questions that you have, or an application to join! Alliance Nirvana – Aims and Goals Our alliance is a shared, democratic organisation. We aim to provide a friendly mature community, willing to help others in every aspect of Guild Wars. Our primary goal is that we should all be having fun! Allied guilds communicate using a dedicated shared forum area. Private forum areas for each allied guild are also available. Most of our alliance organisation and game planning happens in the alliance forum and all allied guilds need to participate. Within the forum we have an alliance council, with membership supplied by every allied guild in proportion to their size, to make sure that the alliance stays democratic and runs as smoothly as possible. This council takes alliance-related decisions and will always be open to new ideas. The council looks after the alliance aims, the alliance application process and the alliance code of conduct. It is also the duty of the council members to enforce the alliance code and to serve as a link to communicate with other guilds and alliances. Within their home guilds, council members make sure that their fellow guild members have read and understood the alliance code and they deal with issues where the code is not respected. Allied guilds are welcome to propose alliance membership to other guilds they trust. All applications are considered in the same way, according to the alliance application process. As part of the alliance forum, members can expect events of all kinds to be suggested and organised, be they PvE or PvP, and all members are welcome to participate in them. We currently have the use of both Ventrilo and Teamspeak servers for in-game events. Our goal is to offer a variety of event levels, to encourage less experienced members to try out new areas of game-play just for fun, as well as supporting skilled players teaming up for "master level" events. If one or more guilds wish to take part in a group effort involving the Alliance as a whole (such as farming Faction to control a town), this should be considered by the council which may decide to put it up to the membership for an alliance vote on the forum. We aim never to pressurise members to do something they do not wish to do. Individual allied guilds are of course free to organise all internal guild efforts as they wish, understanding that if other allies do not wish to participate, they are in no way obligated to do so. The alliance works for all of us because we all support it and work for it. We aim to build a community where we become good friends, doing things we enjoy together. |
