We last left off where Seth decided to go to Valor on his black dragon Erath. And when he got there...And if anyone forgot the story, Kyan found his long lost friend Seth on Valor, and his black dragon Erath. Kyan is a mamkute that can still use swords as well as dragon stone attack.

So I have this Ibanez acoustic 12-string, worth like $400 or something, but the neck is cracked near where it connects to the body. It plays fine, and looks like since the neck is just glued to the fretboard and body I could replace the neck entirely, but I'm wondering if that's possible/cost effective/etc.

I'm looking to sell this thing, but I'm assuming it'll go for much less with the neck cracked, so I'm wondering if it'd actually make me more money to fix the neck than to just sell it as is, assuming it's even possible to fix the neck. Anyone know something about this?

It didn't really do much of anything other than probably giving Izzy a lack of reason to care about the game, so it's not as huge a deal as my dick, but still kind of noteworthy.

That'd be excellent. Does he not go to GHEB anymore?

Best bet is to sell it to a pawn shop. You'll still get way less than $400, neck crack or not.

My woodshop teacher in highschool mentioned a former student who owned a pretty big place in Tennessee and basically made himself rich hand-crafting and repairing guitars, banjos and whatnot, so I assume it's still a decent business in at least some parts of the nation. As for how well qualified anyone in Arizona is, I have no idea.

I just...I honestly just assumed the picked wood, stamped out the shapes, glued them together and then varnished/coated them. I didn't know anything -could- be done by hand anymore, without incurring some insanely high prices because of how time consuming it is.

In one of my accounting classes we watched a video about how guitars are made, it's a very hands-on process even when they are mass produced in a factory. No idea what it had to do with accounting.

Anyway, it's good to see you F3n. Hope you are doing well.
Okay, think of what little patience I have as, oh, I don't know, your virginity. You always thought it would be there, until that night Junior Year when you were feeling a little down about yourself and your pal Kevin, who just wanted to be friends, well, he dropped by and he brought a copy of About Last Night and a four-pack of Bartels & James and woo hoo hoo, it was gone forever - just like my patience is now. ~ Dr. Perry Cox

Who the hell... put bouillon cubes in the shower head!?! Huh? Hm, did you do it? Hm? Did you? If it happens again, I will wait in my S.U.V., blast me some speed-metal -- 5.1 surround sound, heavy on the bass -- and someone... will be getting... mowed... down. ~ Dr. Hooch

One of my uncles actually makes violins by hand as a hobby.

the same uncles also hunts elk with a bow, though, so i'm not sure if he counts as a human for purposes of determining what can be done by hand

Handmade guitars still sell pretty well here, and a city near us supposedly makes the best ones and they're pretty cheap too.

We did stuff like that in one of my accounting classes too!
I guess accounting professors just get bored.
